14 Feb 2022Natalie McIvor: Intuition + Getting Real00:51:18

How are you showing up for yourself? Do you allow your intuition to thrive? In this week's episode I talk to my dear friend Natalie McIvor - psychotherapist, menopause expert and all around amazing person - about the reality of parenting a neurodiverse child and impact this had on her life. We also discuss how she discovered that she had turned off her intuition for much of her life and how through moving out of fight/flight mode and choosing sobriety, she was able to switch on her intuition.  Natalie also shared how you can learn to rest, get better sleep and find the right remedies for you during menopause. This is a rich conversation with a truly inspiring woman and I hope that you enjoy it.
About Natalie:
Life brings many challenges, no more so than in the time of a global pandemic and it is understandable that at times we might look for support in facing them. As a counsellor my role is to provide space and guidance to help you on your journey of self-discovery; to enable you to examine your life and make new, meaningful choices within it.
Over the years I have developed an interest in neurodiversity and the impact it has on mental health, working with many clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger’s, ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia.
Traumatic events from childhood can have lasting effects that may result in addictive behaviours. Numbing our pain helps us survive. Together we can start to explore healthier more enriched ways of living.
I support women and their partners through menopause. This subject has been misunderstood and often ignored. Many women don’t realise the symptoms they are experiencing are due to peri-menopause/menopause. It can be frightening and isolating resulting in anxiety, feelings of grief and loss and a time where emotional support can be beneficial.

21 Feb 2022Suzy Perry: Intuition + Overcoming Adversity00:37:49

Have you ever wondered how someone's intuition develops? Well this week we hear how Suzy Perry has deepened her intuition whilst overcoming some major health issues. Suzy shows us how going against Western medical advice, in her own situation, led her on a journey of healing in Thailand, which helped her to connect to her intuition. We discuss the importance of taking action on your intuition to make it more than just a thought and how additional health issues saw her further deepen her intuition and train as a breathwork facilitator, developing her felt sense and clairvoyance skills. Suzy truly shows how you can overcome adversity in your life through following your intuition and supports her clients to do this powerful work to create the life that they want. Suzy's story is inspirational.
About Suzy Perry
“What if you had a miracle right under your nose, would you be willing to accept it?”
Suzy @breathewithsuzy
Suzy came to understand the significance of the breath when in 2017, after sustaining a traumatic brain injury, it was all she had left. In that moment she chose the empowered option and for 14 months totally bed bound harnessed this tool. Now qualified in holotropic, rebirthing and  HypnoBreathwork® Suzy is highly passionate about sharing this miracle with you!
After years of working with neuroscientists and following the HypnoBreathwork® technique Suzy believes there’s a formula to getting the life you want - first we use breathwork to clear suppressed emotions and energetic patterns, then bring in hypnotherapy and visioning for subconscious reprogramming, and rewiring limiting beliefs. With your conscious goals and subconscious motivations now aligned... just watch to see how your life changes!

08 May 2022Claire Garin: Intuition + Sacred Activism01:01:35

In this week's episode I speak to Claire Garin, who combines spirituality with sacred activism. Claire, a former social worker, had a powerful journey to intuition starting with a near death experience in an earthquake in Nepal. The experience triggered her exploration of life through the lens of following her intuition. At the time, she committed to follow her intuition for 3 years to see what difference it would make and after a life changing experience with Qoya at Burning Man, she removed the time limits and dedicated her life to live aligned with her  intuition. We discuss Le Bucher where Claire is creating a community at the intersection of wellbeing and sacred activism. We talk about her ongoing dedication to Qoya and the importance of being in right relationship with the lineages we teach and share and giving back to those communities. Claire reminds us of the power of intuition and the importance of remembering where our practices and teachings come from.
About Claire Garin:
After being a social worker and activist in the field of mental health for a decade, Claire became a therapist, Qoya teacher, spiritual mentor, and author supporting people to reconnect with the power available in the great mystery and through their bodies.
She's now bringing both of these approaches together by developing projects around Sacred Activism and the reunion between our commitments toward Social and Environmental Justice and the necessity for deep self-nourishment through spirituality and self-development.
She s currently the french voice of Qoya and the co-founder of Le Bucher, a place for Sacred Activism. She leads trainings and retreats and is the author of Sage, Sauvage et Libre.

16 May 2022Sydney Zwicker: Intuition + Holistic Pelvic Care00:58:17

This week I interview fellow Qoya teacher and pelvic health expert Sydney Zwicker.  Join us as Sydney tells us all about her passion for pelvic health, sexuality, Qoya and embodiment practices. Sydney images intuition beautifully in terms of it being split between the body and the mind and considers how we can allow the two to come together. We discuss the nervous system in its various modes and how truth and safety comes from a balance of the system. Finally she shares the importance and power that comes from connection with your pelvic wisdom and menstrual cycle. This episode really shares the power we have within to find our real truth. I cannot wait for you to hear the wisdom in this episode.
About Sydney:
Sydney Zwicker is a bodyworker and women’s health mentor based in Denver, Colorado. Her intention is to give clients and students the tools to journey into wholeness. She believe there is no one way, nor right way to heal. It’s a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a whole lot of courage.
Her passion is to be a catalyst in shedding the stigma of the female-lived experience, through embodiment practices, such as Qoya, Holistic Pelvic Care and Women’s Health Massage. Outside of her in-person bodywork practice, she offers online courses, workshops and 1:1 coaching programs to help women reclaim their essence and embody their truth.

23 May 2022Liz Reichard: Intuition + Empowerment01:10:53

In this week's episode I talk to Liz Reichard who is flying the flag for Qoya in Australia. Liz talks to us about family violence and how this impacts the feeling of safety for those involved. Leading on from this we consider intuition from that perspective and how accessing intuition can be a privilege if your basic safety needs are not met. We discuss her journey to Qoya and the differences in how Qoya is taught across the world and what she has learned from many teachers the world over. Finally Liz talks to us about the powerful work she is doing around body neutrality based on her journey of feeling empowered in herself. This is a fantastic episode that truly shows how you can move from feeling unsafe in your body and environment to truly feeling empowered.
About Liz:
Liz Reichard lives in a tiny little town just outside the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. She is a Qoya teacher and the proud owner of Sunranges Qoya.
Finding Qoya completely changed the course of Liz's life. She found it in the aftermath of a mental health breakdown brought on by her work as a lawyer helping women navigate their way safely through family violence. It awakened her to the power and strength within herself. It emboldened her to follow her intuition to become a Qoya teacher and then start her own business leading classes around Melbourne and Zoom.
Qoya is the way in which Liz will continue to help women and her aim is to bring Qoya to as many women as possible to help them to tap into their own inner strength and power.

In this week's episode I talk to Aine Homer, the Baby Reflux Lady. Aine shares with us her journey becoming a parent with a baby who had undiagnosed reflux and not being listened to by professionals.  Through not being listened to and being told it was normal for a baby to cry Aine realised that she could trust her instincts and when on to use her career skills as an engineer to research what could be causing the issues. As she moved forward she chose to use her knowledge and experience to support other parents and professionals to improve theirs and their children's experience of reflux. The Baby Reflux Lady was born. We talk about trust from a parent trusting themselves about the wellbeing of their child through to trusting oneself to be able to share the right information that people need. Aine also shares how she found an energetic practice in Quantum Flow that enabled her to feel embodied and find out how things feel within rather than being solely head based. This conversation of how we can use this trust in parenting, business and all aspects of life can teach us all so much.

In this week's episode I speak to Collette Davis who is a Yoga teacher of embodied flow and founded her own school of yoga in 2019. Collette is deeply connected to her intuition and we hear how as a child she felt connected to her environment around her and later learned to reconnect as an adult. She shares with us the details of what embodied flow actually is and how it is a radical shift from attending yoga classes where you are instructed and can just switch your mind off. We learn how the guided classes look for both the teacher and students to access their intuition. Collette asks us to consider what our doorway to intuition might be and if we are curious enough to search for it to find our flow. This discussion is about trust, flow, connecting to source and so much more. I can't wait for you to listen.
About Collette:
A dedicated student of classical Tantric philosophy and the school of  Embodied Flow™, Collette honors her teachers Tara Judelle, Leila  Sadeghee, Bridget Luff, Hareesh Wallis, Adyashanti and the Trika lineage of Non-Dual Kashmir Shaivism. 05 Sep 2022Kathy Bell: Intuition + Breathwork00:54:32

In this week's episode I talk to Kathy Bell, a breath work facilitator who holds powerful space. Kathy shares with us her awakening moment when her daughter was born and how she met the breathwork practice and realised it was just what she needed. As a highly sensitive empath, she formed a dedicated breathwork practice that started to strip away what needed to be removed.  We discuss how she began to trust herself, her intuitive nature as a child that was not valued, and what blocks intuition. We also dive into the power of music, how we can connect to it and what it means at a deeper level. Finally Kathy shares with us what enables her to ground herself to hold space for others both online and in person.
About Kathy:
Kathy is a breathwork facilitator, space holder, guide and mentor to women who are here to awaken humanity, whilst also being human.
Kathy holds virtual and in person breathwork groups and has a monthly membership called Lead The Liberation where she holds bi monthly classes to help women to come home to themselves and lead with love.

26 Sep 2022Emma Halley: Intuition + The Womb/Moon Connection01:05:32

In this week's episode, Emma Halley and I go DEEP into cyclical wisdom! We discuss the menstrual cycle, its connection to the moon and how the moon phases are reflected back to us and are present within us. We also talk through seasonal cycles and the cycles we experience throughout our lives. We talk about how to decode the ways cycles show up in your daily life via learning to notice what is happening for you - in your body, your emotions, your energy, your actions - in order to improve your understanding of yourself.
We talk about what happens when you experience conflict in different cycles (ie moon + menstrual or moon + seasonal). We also consider how cyclical wisdom can support those who do not have a womb and how cyclical wisdom can be accessible to everyone. Understanding the cyclical nature of all things is one of the most powerful ways we can get clearer on who we are and how we show up in the world. This information has been life changing for both Emma and me and I hope it is equally as impactful and powerful for you!
About Emma:
Emma is a Spiritual Wellness Coach, Crystal Therapist and Meditation Teacher. She specialises in working with women to help them come home to themselves and their divine connection to the Earth and the Moon. In this week's episode I talk to vocal coach and music and sound therapist Jennifer Jenkins. Jennifer shares with us how she uses her intuition daily in her life and work. We also talk about the disconnection people develop when they are told at a younger age that they cannot sing or shouldn’t pursue music professionally and how this stops people from moving forward to embrace the enjoyment of making music. Jennifer encourages us to use our intuition and develop our love of music and singing, wherever that passion lies. She also shares with us her unicorn healing which is fascinating. This is the first time we have had a guest sing on the podcast and it is truly beautiful.

09 Oct 2022Jayne Goodsir: Intuition + Ethical Practitionership01:20:01

In this week's episode, I talk to Jayne Goodsir about some key issues in the spiritual and well-being industry.  At the heart of this episode we discuss how people can take radical self responsibility in this space to ensure that practitioners are operating safely and with integrity from an integrated place.  We explore where intuition truly comes from and how deep are we willing to go to reflect on and consider where we are really at with our own practice. 31 Oct 2022Lisa Lister: Intuition + Self Source-ery01:07:48

I cannot think of a better way to end Season 1 of the podcast than this amazing conversation with my mentor, the incredible Lisa Lister. Lisa has been such a fundamental influence in my life over the last decade.  She talks to us about the deep felt knowing that she experiences by coming home to her body. We discuss the power and wisdom within the menstrual cycle.  We touch upon how the social conditioning of the overculture keeps us down and stops us striving to have what we actually want and need and forces us to fit in and be as 'normal' as possible, even if it's to our detriment.  We also discuss how rest is revolutionary and moving at the speed of our body and heart is the medicine we all need right now.  Lisa talks about her upcoming book, Self Source-rey and how everything we need is within us. Of course, as this is being released on Samhain/Halloween, how could we not talk about what it means to be a witch?!
I am so proud to be able to close season 1 with this conversation.
About Lisa:
Crowned ‘the defender of female awesomeness’ by Cooler magazine, Lisa Lister offers support, space, remembrance, spiritual guidance, cyclic maps and counsel to women who are exploring, navigating and wanting to heal their relationship with their body, power, sex, creativity, pleasure + passion in these 'interesting' times

30 Jan 2023Season 2 Trailer00:02:25

Welcome to season 2 of the Intuition Conversations. In this season I am looking forward to bringing more conversations and following the breadcrumbs of my own intuition. I hope you enjoy this season.

01 Feb 2023Ancient wisdom for modern times 1: Intuition and Greek Mythology with Lauren Gray00:58:27

In the first episode of Season 2, I am speaking to Lauren, a wonderful yoga teacher and amateur mythologist. Lauren joins me as I start my deep dive into the importance of ancient wisdom in modern times. This is such a joyful conversation and we have a LOT of fun pulling cards from  Lauren’s oracle deck and discussing Ancient Greek goddesses.
We discuss what archetypes are and consider cultural appropriation versus cultural appreciation. We learn how Lauren developed a love of Greek gods and goddesses and hear the depth of her knowledge through the card pulls. We also think about how connecting to the universal energy of archetypes help us to better understand ourselves. We deep dive into some of our favourite mythological figures and compare them to other lineages to see the commonality and what they can individually teach us.
About Lauren:
Lauren is a yoga teacher by trade and a mythologist in her spare time. She dances her way through life interweaving her love of people, history, nature and storytelling.

06 Feb 2023Ancient wisdom for modern times 2: Intuition and Sacred Sites with Cheryl Straffon01:10:03

In this episode, I talk to the incredibly knowledgable Cheryl Straffon. Cheryl has taught me so much since I moved to Cornwall about ancient sites and the lineage of goddess culture in this land.
We discuss Cornish ancient sites, how she researches to bring the sites alive and how she combines intuition, science, anthropology and archeology to understand how ancient people used the sites. We consider the status of women in society and storytelling and journey through the ages to understand more about sacred places.
About Cheryl:
Cheryl Straffon spent her childhood in Cornwall, UK, and then studied English &
Comparative Religion at King’s College London University for a B.A (Hons) degree.
Following this, she did a post-graduate Education diploma at Cambridge University and then taught for some years in Secondary and Further Education in Scotland and England, before taking up Bookselling Training and then Librarianship. In 1986 she returned to Cornwall to live, where she was the Library Manager of St.Just Library for 20 years, before taking early retirement in 2006. For about 15 years she was firstly the Secretary and then the Chair of C.A.S.P.N [Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network], a Charity that looks after the prehistoric sites in West Penwith, Cornwall, before she stepped down in 2017. However, she still continues to play a role in the organisation as Deputy-Chair, and organises the annual ‘Pathways to the Past’ event (a weekend of walks and talks amongst the ancient sites), now in its 16 th year. In 2018 she was awarded the annual ‘Heritage Champion of the Year’ (Sir Richard Trant award) from the Cornwall Heritage Trust. For the last 36 years she has produced and edited a magazine “Meyn Mamvro”, about the ancient stones and sacred sites in Cornwall, and written books including “Pagan Cornwall: Land of the Goddess”, “The
Earth Goddess”, “Daughters of the Earth”, “Megalithic Mysteries of Cornwall”, “Fentynyow Kernow”, “Between the Realms”, etc. She has given a number of talks and workshops, and has been a central figure in the Goddess movement: for 15 years she edited a magazine “Goddess Alive!” as well as being a Trustee for Women’s Land in Cornwall, a co-organiser of the Goddess in Cornwall event, and a trainer on the Priestess of Kernow course. She is married to her partner Lana Jarvis, an accomplished dowser, and they share a love of the Land and the Ancient Sites, especially in Cornwall, and also in Crete, where they have had a house built, and where they spend some time each year.

Helen shares with us how she leads with intuition and what takes its place when she doesn't. We talk about being a child who was not seen or heard and how she looks back now to ask her younger self 'what do you need?' We consider the path of pursuing a diagnosis of ADHD and what the answer it gives us helps us to do. We look at the difference between Helen's wilderness years and her current third chapter and how her ADHD diagnosis has enabled her to find new ways to live and to look for validation in healthier places. This is a beautiful episode where Helen so eloquently describes her experience of being neurosparkly.
About Helen:
Helen Grace MacGregor is a Writer, Facilitator, Qoya teacher and Courage Cultivator.
She is on a mission to gently encourage soulful and neurodiverse women to honour their call to create, through permission-rich practices that satisfy their soul and nourish their nervous system.
Having created multiple programmes, written her own book and contributed to several others, Helen recently discovered that her multi-passionate, creative, should-free approach to life can be explained by the fact she’s unknowingly lived with inattentive ADHD and dyspraxia for over 5 decades.
Now, whilst editing her second book, The Midlife Awakening, Helen is combining her embodied knowledge and lived experiences into a new body of work to help women get what matters to them done. Even if like her, they’ve spent their lifetime struggling with shoulds, self-esteem and systems.
Helen believes it’s never too late to create, and your soul work doesn’t have to wait.
Which is why she’s creating introvert-friendly spaces for soulful women to embrace their enoughness and express their innate creativity, so they can flourish in a world that equates worth with productivity.
One simple, soulful, should-free step at a time.

We also talk about the powerful space of women's circles and finding safe and supportive pockets of the internet. In this week's episode, I speak to Lisa Valentine. Lisa generously shares her experience of loss through losing a loved one as a child and more recently the death of her fiancé and the lessons she learned about how to deal with grief.  We talk about how grief and death are often not dealt with  in the modern world. We discuss how things may externally appear to look back to normal but that our internal landscapes might still be deep in dealing with our loss.  We explore why it can be easier to share grief with strangers rather than family and friends and the importance of communication around death and grief. Listen in as Lisa shares how she wanted to live and experience the things that those she had lost could no longer. We talk about approaching conversations about our deaths and celebrations and also finding love after loss. I hope that this conversation helps you to explore some of these issues further for yourself.

She has experienced loss, most notably through the sudden death of her fiance in 2014 when they were both 30 years old. This changed her views on life forever and provided a new outlook. 26 Oct 2021Trailer00:07:24

The Intuition Conversations invite people to activate and strengthen their muscle of intuition - to trust themselves more, to remember who they are at their core before society and all the external messaging and structures around us told us who we should be, to get ever clearer on their purpose, and to experience the intrinsic power in this clarity.

These conversations offer practical ways to connect with the wisdom that resides at the heart of who you are, your internal GPS and inner compass that is the sacred container for your innate wisdom.  The mission of this podcast is to share these practices with a community of like-hearted individuals to strengthen our collective intuitive muscle and fill this world with the inner wisdom that's calling to be revealed.

The Intuition Conversations brings together experts in the practical translation of intuition into empowerment, who share exactly what intuition and intuitive living means to them. You can expect amazing stories of the powerful ways intuition has woven itself into the lives of our speakers. When intuition spoke to them in whispers and roared at them for attention. Our speakers share the tools they use to connect to intuition that may inspire your own intuitive curiosity. We chat about what blocks intuition and how to overcome these obstacles. We talk teachers, lineages, intersectional social justice, empowerment, embodiment, the benefits of connecting to intuition and how you can deepen your remembering and trust of the wisdom that lies inside you.

And in this remembering and moving into your personal power, we will create a rebellion – a rebellion against the voices, the narratives, the forces that tell us to play small, to shrink, to take up as little space as possible, that tell us we cannot trust ourselves. I invite you to join me as we reclaim our inherent birthright as intuitive beings and the inherent power that comes from listening to and trusting ourselves.

I truly cannot wait for you to join me in this exploration. In this movement. In this Intuition Rebellion.

Welcome to The Intuition Conversations.

01 Nov 2021Rochelle Schieck: Intuition + Qoya00:48:56

Have you ever wondered how to connect with your intuition? In today's episode, I talk to Rochelle Schieck, the founder of Qoya, all about just that. In our Qoya practice we say that we remember our true essence, as wise as wild and free. So how does that look for us in reality?
Rochelle beautifully explains to us how her love of dance as a child, bringing her catharsis and reconnection, paved the path for Qoya to emerge. We discuss body based intuition and how listening and acknowledging what you hear within your body can lead to alignment and a sensation of truth.
Rochelle is truly one of the most inspirational and gracious people I know.  I would love to hear your thoughts on today's episode.

About Rochelle:
Rochelle Schieck is the founder of Qoya, a movement practice based on the idea that through movement, we remember our essence is wise, wild and free. In today's episode I continue my intuition conversations with the wonderful Tiu de Haan. We talk about how she accesses her own intuition using different methods, the importance of doing  morning pages as a daily practice and practices that help us to tune in and listen. 20 Dec 2021Lucy Paget: Intuition + The Medicine Woman01:01:42

In today's episode with modern medicine woman Lucy Paget, we discuss intuition and extratuition and how to access both to enhance creativity. We chat about finding spacious awareness to ‘take the lids off’ of our intuition and practical ways to listen to and read our body’s messages.  Hear Lucy's beautiful journey of travelling the world and tuning into her intuition along the way.
About Lucy Paget:
Lucy Paget is an energetic leader and creator, a writer, a mother, and a wellness maven who lives in Nicaragua where she is building a retreat centre and organic farm.
Lucy’s life has been peppered with of all sorts of adventures. She was born in England and stayed for so long that she still refers to cookies as ‘biscuits.’ Lucy moved to Canada as a teenager, where she went to school and got some degrees, fell in love with the mountains, learned to teach yoga, built a successful business, and started a family—not necessarily in that order.
Lucy brought a beautiful idea to life when she opened and ran an award-winning wellness clinic but though she was successful professionally her creative yearnings were not satiated.
It was the experience of an incredible loss and subsequent burnout that finally led her to stop what she was doing and listen to the whispers of her soul.
Lucy sold her clinic and moved to the wilds of Nicaragua with her two children, where she works hard and plays hard: heals, surfs, grows things, writes, dances, sings, keeps bees, and is building a magical farmhouse where she can be deeply connected to nature and live a beautiful, simple life and share what she knows with others.

10 Jan 2022Becca Kannapell: Intuition + Soul-led Work00:59:38

In this week's episode, I am in conversation with Becca Kannapell, Founder of Pound Jewelry. We talk about synchronicity, returning to trust and what can block intuition. The amazing Becca also shares with us how following her intuition led her to set up her family-run business and how she leans into her creative intuition when designing new lines and unique jewellery pieces. Becca also talks to us about how crystals and pendulums can be used to tap into your intuition. We also have a gorgeous appearance from Becca's Mum Glinda (Linda) towards the end as one of the magic creators within Pound Jewellery.

About Becca:
My name is Becca and I am one of the three creators of our family jewellery business. I am an occupational therapist, yoga teacher, mystic, crystal loving oracular healer and jewellery business owner. I channel the energy of POUND Jewelry and am her human voice.

In our family, it’s sacred truth that objects carry magic and meaning.
The things we’re drawn to are powerfully calling to us, and we’re drawn to the beauty and magnetism of stones and their transformative process: how crystals are formed from the earth’s core and then made into jewellery. How they’re born from heat and pressure just like us.

Just like POUND.

Forming our business has been as organic, magical, and arduous as pushing a crystal through the earth’s crust (we imagine). POUND has its own living breathing essence that requires tending, light, and air; it needs space and time to develop. Every day, it keeps our hearts expanding and pushes us to share the gifts within each of us. Throughout the process of revealing POUND to the world, we’ve uncovered pieces of ourselves we didn't see before. All three of us have dived deep into our shadows in order to come back up to the surface with newfound treasures. The rites of many initiations have not avoided us, and we’re a lot stronger and wiser for these intense periods of struggle.

Using all this knowing alongside her continuously learning and training means she includes the modality most suited to her clients from colour and environment right through to diet & career.  Working with children & adults many people come to Jacintha to learn how to trust their own intuition, and for help with their health.
