Mobile Sports Betting (MSB) apps and sites were launched in New York State January 2022. To kick off season 2, we are joined again by Jim Maney, Executive Director of the NY Council on Problem Gambling (NYCPG), to discuss what the landscape looks like for NYers. There are concerns because this expansion dramatically increases access and availability to gambling opportunities. Neighboring states who previously launched MSB apps saw increases in rates of problem gambling.
