Well it’s back to school season and I’m sure there’s many different feelings about summer coming to an end. While many of us celebrated when school let out for the summer and headed to the closest beach, for many children in the United States, no school May mean no access to a meal. According to the USDA, 22 million children in the US receive free or reduced lunch; however, during the summer less than 4 million are able to receive access to summer meals funded by the USDA, making summer time the hungriest time for millions of children.
