Who's ready for Fucked Up February? We have been hyping it up for months and it's finally time to review several of what fans of horror films have called the most fucked up movies around. We start by reviewing the original I Spit on Your Grave. Maybe author, Jennifer, doesn't stop at a gas station and relay all of her personal information to the attendant serving her gas including the location to where she's staying isolated in the woods. The local boys and him got other things in mind.
I Spit on Your Grave is a classic revenge film that builds up after Jennifer experience horrors from the locals in the woods. Just when you think things can't get worse for her, they make her a drink, but she can't drink it the traditional way....This is a brutal movie with brutal kills. Does it live up today? Hotgirl, Kaitlyn, comes back on to help review this 1978 classic.

If there's one thing A Serbian Film taught us it's that you never go into business with a man named Vukmir. Milos, a semi-retired porn star learns this the hard way as he's pulled back into the business for an artistic project promising big dollars. What Milos doesn't know is that he's being hired for a snuff film.
A Serbian Film is widely recognized as being one of the most disturbing and controversial films ever made with very graphic content. It's not an easy watch by any means, but how does it match up with the other films in Fucked Up February? Is it worth the hype? Our friend Melissa joins us to review a wildly original, yet unbelievable hard-to-watch movie.

96 - Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975) Review

Fucked Up February as officially come to an end. Some of us are relieved, some of us are sick enough to want it never to end. In any case, we have reviewed the movie deemed by guest star Damian "The Eggman" LaGrasta as a rite of passage if anyone ventures into disturbing horror movies. The movie of course is Salo, or the 120 Days of Sodom. A movie so sick and depraved, we had to watch it a second time to fully understand it. The movie background itself is very interesting and shrouded in mystery as the director Pier Paolo Pasolini was killed before its premiere.
Young boys and girls are taken by four Italian libertines in fascist Italy during WW2 to re-enact sick and twisted stories over 120 days. Tone and atmosphere alone make this movie stand out among other disturbing movies of the time. While the movie ultimately didn't stand up to being as fucked up as we remembered, it's still high on our list due to the nonchalant manner in which the libertines treat their subjects.

Fear Street: Part One - 1994 is the first of three movies based off the R.L. Stine Fear Street books. Miranda from Randuhsrebellion joins us to discuss this first installment in a really cool trilogy that provides a gripping story, brutal kills, and a stellar soundtrack that gives you the nostalgia you're looking for.

It's the 100th episode of The Final Podcast, no big deal. It's not like we've poured our blood, sweat, and tears into this. It's not like we cry in sadness after every episode we review. We love doing this podcast and we absolutely love our friends and fans who have been with us on this journey. We decided to bring on all of our friends who've been such a huge part of the Spooky Pit on to guest star in the horror anthology, The ABCs of Death. This film has a short for all 26 letters of the alphabet, all directed by different people from different countries and all depicting death. It's going to be a blast. Wrong Turn is a movie both Bryan and Shane loved watching as they grew up and it hasn't changed much over the years. With a cast that was truly perfect for a film made in the early 2000's, Wrong Turn is an entertaining ride for a Friday night with a bag full of popcorn, a beer, and a hand down your pants.

In the first Dario Argento movie we review on the show, an American dancing student attends an elite German ballet academy, but soon starts to suspect a darkness looming over the school after students begin to drop.
Bryan and Shane have long discussed their love for Argento's work and how this movie peaked their interest into watching almost all of his movies and falling in love with this cinematic style. They quickly became immersed in his vibrant color scheme, the tempo of his music, and the POV shots of his killers; they can't help, but laud the man's brilliance.
Witchcraft meets dance in Suspiria and it's fun to watch!

105 - The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) Review

Texas is great this time of year. There's great BBQ, desecrated graves, hitchhikers with sharp blades, a chainsaw wielding loon wearing another man's face. It's peak southern hospitality near the old house where Sally, her brother Franklin, and a few other friends are paying it a visit. They just make the mistake of going into the neighboring house one-by-one unannounced.
Let's not forget, it's the 2-year anniversary of The Final Podcast as well was the start of Alexis Texas Chain Saw Massacre Month and we always know how to celebrate a wonderful occasion. We decide to review our most anticipated movie yet. We've been talking about reviewing this classic film since the beginning of our show and it's only fitting now that we give it the review Tobe Hooper's genius deserves. 106 - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) Review

The next stop on Alexis Texas Chainsaw Massacre Month is the sequel to the legendary original that came 12 years after its release in 1986. After such a long-awaited release date, could The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 live up to its predecessor? We can answer this question very quickly, it doesn't. It doesn't even remotely come close.
Tobe Hooper also directs this movie and while it's based on some of the same characters, the direction is highly questionable and it seems to have taken more of a comedic route which is a totally different vibe than the first movie which was so ominous and gritty. In this movie, a radio host has evidence of a crime committed by Leatherface and his family, a Sheriff is looking for revenge on the family, and Leatherface is in love. Hotboy's girlfriend, Kaitlyn, joins the podcast to discuss all things cannibal. It's wild to say the least!

In the last week of Alexis Texas Chainsaw Massacre Month, we decide to review Texas Chainsaw 3D starring Alexandra Daddario and Trey Songz which adds a new spin to the Texas Chainsaw franchise by making Leatherface a good guy? In the final week of The Summer Shandy, we review the biggest shark movie of the 90's and one of the more popular creature feature movies over the last few decades, Deep Blue Sea. Curing Alzheimer's using shark proteins is the goal for the scientists at a remote research facility holding some of the most intelligent sharks in the world. Unfortunatey for the researchers, the sharks are just too smart for them.
Deep Blue Sea is a wild movie that features some great actors like Thomas Jane, Samuel L. Jackson, LL Cool J, and Stellan Skarsgard who all portray very interesting characters. Thomas Jane is riding sharks, Samuel L. Jackson has one of the most climactic death scenes in horror movie history, LL Cool J is a preaching cook, and Stellan Skarsgard is the most brilliant scientist who walks up to a shark and dies within 2 minute of screen time. A paranormal detective researching an ancient civilization soon realizes he plays a central role in the war between the world of the light and the dark. Alone in the Dark is the 2nd movie we reviewed from Uwe Boll, who has a reputation for video game adaptations, although not a good one. We previously reviewed House of the Dead earlier this year and while it was a fun watch, the movie was not the best. Actually, it was pretty horrible. In any case, we wanted to give Uwe Boll another shot and maybe we shouldn't have. Alone in the Dark is a tough watch. Although it's stacked with some big name actors like Christian Slater, Tara Reid, and Stephen Dorff, it's a hard watch and doesn't really have any direction. With that being said, give it a watch and listen to our review.

This movie, while almost impossible to find, is a movie that we absolutely love to talk about and is one of our favorites. We are so excited to discuss this movie at length and all the craziness that's in it. A movie that is so deep and so bat shit crazy, we can't keep our eyes off the screen.

It's Friday and it's finally time we discuss the action legend that is Steven Seagal. A man that can do so little, but oh so much at thee same time. He's electric on-screen and we never know what he's going to rip out in a movie. In A Good Man, he is referred to by his call sign "Ghost," but Alexander is a man sent on a mission to take out a terrorist and an arms dealer. He kills the terrorist, but misses the arms dealer. Years later, Chen, the arms dealer, threatens a young girl and little sister, and it's up to Ghost to help free them from Chen's grasp. We don't know what it is, but Seagal is magic and he doesn't disappoint in this one.

Spooky Season is back and we're starting October off strong with the Michael Myers-less Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Silver Shamrock masks are all the rage this year, but there's a sinister plot devised by the owner of the company, Conal Cochran, that Doctor Daniel Challis plans to get to the bottom of.
While this is a departure from the Halloween films prior starring the evil Michael Myers, it's not as bad of a movie as it's been made out to be. While we all miss Michael, this is an interesting story in its own right that shouldn't be underestimated. Give it a watch and check out our review!

It's time for Hell Fest. A group of friends get where more than the price of admission as the horror amusement park they were looking forward to becomes the hunting ground for a masked murderer.
Hell Fest puts a new spin on stalker, slasher films as it seems this masked killer knows how to move around this park flawlessly. He can operate all the rides, handle all of the attractions, and maneuver around the park at a questionable speed. Shark Lake may be just as entertaining as the title suggests. There really is a shark in a lake, but more importantly, Dolph Lundgren starts in this movie making it almost impossible to pass up. This movie does have a lot of explosions so if you like unlimited RPGs and tanks, this is the film for you. This movie is absolutely insane, nonsensical, and somehow based on a true story. In 1988, a vampire movie was released that differed from every other vampire movie in every way. This movie kept some tropes, but gave way to the inner workings of what it means to potentially turn into a vampire.
Vampire's Kiss starts Nicholas Cage who may or may not be turning into a vampire, but at least he believes he is. After he's invaded by a bat and starts getting a visit from a perceived vampire seductress, his day-to-day starts to become different as he believes he's turning into a bloodthirsty vampire.
Sauce McGavin continues to join us for Nicholas Cage November and reviews Vampire's Kiss with us. This is an early movie for Cage, but it doesn't disappoint. Funny, weird, but absolutely entertaining; Vampire's Kiss may just be Cage's craziest movie and he hadn't even grown into his own yet.

Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust is the sequel to Metalface or Playing with Dolls which is a film we reviewed early on. While the movie had some unbelievably tough moments to watch, it was entertaining and the sequel lines up the same way. It's not a horrible watch, but not the movie you go back too with the boys.

Incantation was as crazy a thrill ride as we've come to expect from Asian horror movies and in a year that was full of really good horror movies, this one didn't disappoint. From start to finish, Incantation will keep you guessing and breaks the fourth wall in a way that makes you a part of mitigating this curse affecting Li Ronan and the other characters.

Andy wants a newly advertised, popular doll more than anything for his birthday. His mother gets it for him, but little do they know, the doll embodies the soul of a serial killer.
Child's Play is as Shane says - two different movies in one. It's a horror film until Chucky comes alive and at that point, it's a comedy. While the movie can be quite ridiculous and humorous at times, it has a charm. Many people are afraid of inanimate objects (like dolls) coming alive so the idea is certainly creepy. 144 - The Shining (1980) Review

Jack Torrence accepts a job to be the new caretaker of the isolated Overlook Hotel for the winter. After him and his family settle in, he starts to descend into madness while his young son has premonitions of past and future events.
The Shining is a Stanley Kubric film based off of the Stephen King book of the same name. Released in 1980, this movie still holds up as one of the best horror movies ever made and that's made possible by the excellent direction of Kubric and the amazing and often psychotic acting of Jack Nicholson. Shelley Duvall, Danny Lloyd, and Scatman Crothers are all featured in the movie and do an incredible job supporting. The Shining is brilliant, crazy, mysterious, and always a joy to watch. Notable crime fighter, the White Dragon, bestows the important task of stopping the evil Cobra Khan and his ways of crime to his three young students.
Pockets Ninjas was one of the hardest movies to review because there's really nothing like it and while watching, it's difficult to understand that it is a movie. It's very hard to process that there is no trickery; this is a movie, this is reality, and it's a real movie. It's hard to explain, but everyone is just going to have to watch it for themselves. While not a traditional horror movie, Gummo is unconventionally scary in that it harbors many disturbing scenes and depicts a lifestyle of giving up or what it appears for a community to live without purpose. If you can conceive the plot of this movie, Pirates of Ghost Island depicts a group of friends celebrating a graduation party on a cruise who after a storm become unexpectedly stranded on an island that has been run by pirates for the past 200 years. These pirates are certainly ghoulish.
This movie was one of the first movies that Bryan, Shane, and Mike watched together when they started watch low budget horror movies and has a special place in their hearts. While nonsensical, there is a certain pleasure they take in watching movies like this and trying to make sense of them.

In this absolute bloodfest of a movie, The Human Centipede superfan, Martin, draws inspiration from the movie to create a 12-person centipede.
After watching this movie, we quickly realize just how wonderful the first movie was and it really wasn't all that great; this film is just that nonsensical. However, it is bloody, it is gory, and if that's what you're into, give it a watch.

In The Amazing Bulk, Henry is undergoing a military experiment with little success. He decides to perform the experiment with himself as the test subject turning himself into an enormous purple monster. This makes it difficult to impress his girlfriend's father who's also his boss.

A professor undergoes a rescue mission to the Amazon to locate 4 documentary filmmakers who've gone missing researching cannibal tribes.
