In this episode of The Evolving Wellness Podcast, I chat with Veda Austin about the energy which water carries. Our water can be energetically charged based on the thoughts and attitude you charge it with. From the intentions we have to the words we tell it, Veda Austin has developed freezing techniques that demonstrate how these things may affect the water’s molecules. She shows us how different types of water freeze, such as tap water or mineral water, and what it means to each of them.

Veda also shares her experience with drinking a specific type of water that is usually given to cancer patients after her surgeries which allowed her body to heal itself better than any prescription medication could have done for her.

Veda Austin is a water researcher, public speaker, mother, artist, and author. She has dedicated the last 8 years to observing and photographing the life of water. She believes that water is fluid intelligence, observing itself through every living organism on the planet and in the Universe. Her primary area of focus is photographing water in its ‘state of creation’, the space between liquid and ice.

    In this episode of The Evolving Wellness Podcast, I chat with Jen Winkler about her personal experience with going on prescription medication to get her epilepsy under control, only to end up being put into remission and losing 80 pounds naturally with the keto diet. Jen explains how little time it took for her body to experience relief from seizures and how long she’s been following the keto diet. In addition to relief from seizures, she explains how her thyroid numbers are looking like and what her blood sugar is like since going keto.


    Jen also explains how she got over the fear and anxiety over eating carbs when she thought for so long this is what caused her to gain weight in the past. Through carb cycling and fine tuning her diet and exercise routine, carbs no longer scare her nor should they scare other women either.

    In this episode of The Evolving Wellness podcast, I chat with Steve Wright about gut health. Most of us tend to start an elimination protocol where we cut out certain types of foods that may be causing digestive issues in the first place. Whether it’s the carnivore diet or a plant-based diet, these diets tend to fix the problem in the short term but not in the long term. Steve explains that there is a paradox here, as most elimination diets cause significant changes to our gut.

    In this episode of The Evolving Wellness Podcast, I chat with guest Rob Jacobs about the best time in the day one can workout to maximize fat loss. Rob explains how the answer to this question may differ based on what kind of exercises you are doing, but that workout timing is just as important as nutrient timing following that workout.


    Rob also shares how different types of workouts can affect cortisol, i.e. your nervous system. Exercise is a stressor for your body and if your nervous system is already overloaded, overly strenuous workouts may not help you progress further but only cause your body more harm. That’s why it’s important to chose appropriate workouts based on what your nervous system can handle.

    Bitten Jonsson, RN, is a US-trained expert on food addiction, who specializes in helping people to break free of unhealthy attachments to foods, such as sugar and processed carbohydrates. She has been on the Board of Directors for the Food Addiction Institute located in Florida since 2010.  Bitten has decades of experience treating patients with food addiction and has developed a holistic treatment program for food addicts in which she offers education for professionals, both in Sweden and online.  She has also developed a self-diagnosis test, which helps clients learn if they’re suffering from harmful use or addiction. SUGAR is an evaluation instrument she developed after the ADDIS model.  Bitten is a food addict in recovery since 1993, which is when she got help in the US after struggling with her own food addiction for many years.
