I am going to title this episode "Careful what you wish for.." as I open up the AD&D Oriental Adventures book and look at the Gem of Wishes on p 134. It reminded me of a wacky story when I was running a game, and what happened when three characters decided to use the wishes they found.

Gem of Wishes: This large gem looks like any other fine gemstone. However, it reveals itself as a magical item if a detect magic is used. It has the power to grant 1-4 wishes. Once all wishes have been granted, the gem loses all magical properties. The gem itself has a value of 100-1000 ch’ien

The Cloak of the Bat is a dark brown or black cloak that grants its wearer the ability to become nearly invisible in shadows (90% chance) and fly at a speed of 15 feet. The wearer can also transform into a bat, taking all belongings along. Flying can only occur in darkness and lasts for one hour, requiring an equal rest period afterward. Today on the podcast I decided to talk about the Gumshoe system and Trail of Cthulhu. It appears to be a rather simple system that focuses heavily on investigations and horror. The system is a simple d6 with modifiers to beat a target number. The system I would say is a very lite roleplaying, but can be as complex as you need it to be when playing.

In today’s episode of my podcast, we chat about the spell known as Leomund's Tiny Hut! When a magic-user casts this spell, they create an opaque sphere of force around themselves, with half of it above ground and half below. This awesome hut keeps the inside cozy, maintaining a temperature of 70°F, even when it’s freezing outside or scorching hot.

Plus, it can withstand winds up to 50 mph, making it a great shelter for adventurers! Inside this tiny hut, the spellcaster can control the dim lighting and can fit up to six other people comfortably. They can come and go freely, but if the caster steps out, the spell disappears! Just a heads up, though, the Tiny Hut won’t protect you from any attacks or spells. It's a fun and strategic spell for any adventurer, so tune in to hear more about how to use it in your campaigns!

On today's podcast I decided to take a look at another spell, starting with its AD&D 1e roots, and see how its evolved since then. The Armor spell in AD&D is often misused in my opinion and I wanted to clear up how it works exactly and then we take a look at Mage Armor, which is what the spell morphed into and compare it with 3e and 5e vs 1e.
