in this episode I am sharing with you gratitude affirmtions.  Affirmations can help you create new synaptic pathways within your brain. Because often times our brain can slip into the habit of negative thinking and also thinking the worst case and that has been the case with me for a phase where I was doubting myself a lot and very anxious due to the exams coming up so I started speaking affirmations daily and the really calmed my nerves and make me more hopeful.

Allah says: I am as my servants think of me. When you think positive of Allah that is what you will experience insha allah.  So speak positive things and think positive things happening to you and insha allah good things will happen to you!

This affirmations are a mix of Idil Ahmed's affirmations and  my own.

Salaam habibies, 

We all know that feeling: your brain gets cloudy, your anxiety skyrockets, and you can’t find the energy for even the smallest of tasks like making your bed. 

Sometimes we can stand in our own way. When we get reactive instead of intentional, worried instead of present, and distracted instead of trusting Allah. We start to look outside of ourself for validation and peace, when you know that you can only be find peace, clarity, love within Allah and yourself. 

Stress, big life events or other things are to blame. During these times, it’s especially important to  be kind to yourself, and remind yourself where to get energy from.  (Dhikr, Quran, fitness, helping others, just to name a few) 

And this, my habibies is where affirmations can help get you back on track. Listen to hem. Take them in. And now act upon it.

Listening to affirmations will only get you so far. Speaking and listening to  positive affirmation is to built your positive thought pattern, both conscious and unconscious, in order to challenge the negative thinking patterns we can all fall into.

Self-affirming is so powerful that it can literally rewire your brain. It’s been scientifically proven that positive affirmations help lower stress levels, improve well-being, and actually increase neural pathways in the brain. Our minds are powerful. Let's give it the same attention and care that we give our bodies or our homes.

When it comes to letting go and having inner peace it's important to remember that Allah is the giver of peace: As Salaam. He is the One who grants peace and security to all his creation. He is source of peace and security for mankind. It is mankind that needs peace and security through Him. Breaking away from As-Salam brings disturbance and destruction on oneself.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If you were to rely upon Allah with reliance due to Him, He would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with empty stomachs and return full.

So with these affirmations I want you to remember As Salaam and reaffirm your trust in him when letting go.
