You see research has shown us that a more lateral way of learning has greater benefits for students and teachers. This involves group discussions, practice by doing, and sharing knowledge with others.

How does this new style of learning change the way the teacher works?

Every so often I look up at the night sky with my telescope and I’m amazed by what I can see. But in the built area I live there are so many constant lights, I’m limited in what my telescope can find. I’m curious, how I can see more and take some amazing photos of the night sky.

This week, I am so excited to share my chat with orchestra performer, educator, and award-winning composer Cameron Patrick. You would be familiar with Cameron’s work. He has been part of the music behind the most popular movies of the past twenty years, such as Jurassic World, Star Trek, Rogue One, The Incredibles, and Spider-Man Homecoming. Cameron also composed the music for several of the classic Looney Tunes cartoons, including Chariots of Fur featuring Road Runner and Wile E Coyote, Peter and the Wolf, and the popular Sylvestor & Tweety Mysteries.

Terminator 2 celebrated its 30th anniversary this year.

It's now been thirty years since John Connor and the T-800 successfully stopped the rise of skynet and the war between man and machine..at least until Terminator 3.

Terminator 2 was released 7 years after the original and was met with instant success and has since become widely known as one of the very best sequels of all time. Written by James Cameron and co-writer William wisher, its advances in visual effects enabled this film to still hold up today. But with the terminator, IP swapping hands so many times, with many not so impressive takes does the franchise still have more to tell

Directed by Patty Jenkins this film has gone on to be rated the best of the DC films and the best female superhero in a film. During the summer of 2019/2020, Australia experienced the worst fires on record with over 18 million hectares burnt, 5,900 buildings destroyed and 34 people killed. It is also estimated that 1 billion animals have been killed. Captain Verhoeven and his team were part of the Fire fighting efforts to save the historic Jenolan Caves - a rare natural wonder and the historic buildings surrounding it.
