15 Jun 2022 | How Nick Martell & Jack Kramer built Snacks Daily and then, The Best One Yet | 00:53:25
Nick Martell and Jack Kramer met in college in Middlebury, Vermont -- they became fast friends and eventually business partners -- launching a business newsletter called Market Snacks that eventually went on to become a daily podcast acquired by stock trading app Robinhood. Both Colin and I have been huge fans of the show for years. We're very inspired not only by how these two tell stories via audio but how good they are at building a true community and including their audience in the show. They make complex stories from the business world accessible and relatable, which is something Colin and I try and do as well. Recently Nick and Jack left Robinhood but kept their podcast under a new name "The Best One Yet". You'll find out why that's the name later on in the episode. After Nick and Jack went independent they reached out to Colin and I to help them build a video version of their show on YouTube. This is part one of a two-part series with Nick and Jack...in this first episode you'll hear how they'll built their wildly successful newsletter and podcast, and in part two you'll get to hear us troubleshoot the problems their facing in a special edition of Creator Support. That episode will come out on Thursday. Alright, hope you enjoy this episode of The Colin and Samir show with Nick and Jack.

Today on the podcast we are joined by YouTube Creator: Cody Wanner
Cody is a daily vlogger who’s goal is to encourage the Doers, he is also responsible for the no small creator movement - a movement that suggests that there is no such thing as a small creator, whether you are creating for an audience of 1 or 1 million, the concept of creation is so large that the term small creator sounds ridiculous
Cody’s content has picked up a lot of traction recently after his collaboration with Peter McKinnon.
Cody talks about why he started daily vlogging, how to balance his family life with daily content creation for YouTube and gives us a ton of great stories from his adventures.

25 Feb 2019 | We did it, We made a movie. | 00:52:10
This week on The Colin and Samir Podcast we talk about realizing our dream of making a movie. We’ve had this dream for a while and we’ve talked about it quite a bit, we’ve always wanted to make a documentary, screen it in front of people and then have millions of people watch it….and all of that happened, within a week.
Here's the link to the film: https://youtu.be/8cvhwquPqJ0
On this episode we talk about how it happened, how we felt during the process and how it feels now to reflect back on realizing a dream of ours. Alright so this episodes opens up in Colins apartment as we reflect on making our first movie.
We're incredibly grateful to the boys from Yes Theory, everyone who came to the premiere and to everyone who has watched the film so far - we are so excited about the response and can’t wait to make our next film.
Some big takeaways from this experience - be present in the moment, a lot of times if you put your mind to It, your dreams will come true - but not exactly how you thought they would, or when you thought they would - they might look completely different from how you imagined them, but it’s important to try and recognize when they actually might be happening.
Make sure to review the pod, like I mentioned, we are now on Anchor which means you can send us a voice message, we’d love to try that feature out and see what kind of voice messages we get from you guys.
29 Apr 2019 | Saying Yes to Yes Theory | 00:39:57

We also continue our conversation on instagram and debate some recent news about the platform. Lastly we take a really interesting question from a listener and give our opinion on the matter.
Make sure to review the pod on iTunes and leave us a voice message on Anchor, we love to hear from you!

A couple weeks later, Publish Press writer Nate Graber-Lipperman went to Mythical's studio in Burbank to learn more about the show — and talk to Rhett and Link about their complicated history with Hollywood.
This interview was part of "The Year Creators Went Hollywood," the cover story for The Publish Paper: Volume 2. It's a 28-page print zine we made that features original stories, artwork, and photography — get your copy here.
