28 Nov 2024 | 108 – Fat Loss Systems For High Achievers | 00:49:00
Planning ahead and being organised with food is a non-negotiable if you want to be in shape year-round. However, this is something a surprising number of people struggle with. This becomes even more important for the typical high achiever who is already time poor, stressed, frequently has the day run away from them, and is already on the verge of decision fatigue. As James Clear said, “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” In this episode we discuss how to build a system that is as easy and automated as possible, freeing up your brain space, whilst giving you the consistency you need to succeed in your body and health goals, and be in shape year-round, regardless of how busy or stressful work and life become. We also dive deep into the underlying psychology, and how to overcome the blockages, resistance, and self-sabotage mechanisms that prevent people from being able to build a reliable system.
At Chase Life Consulting our mission is to empower half a million female entrepreneurs and executives globally to embrace and fulfil their true potential, unapologetically. 05 Sep 2023 | 88 - Ending Overwhelm – How To Break Free Without Having To Compromise Your Business Or Career | 00:46:09
You’re inundated with responsibilities… However, the REAL reason for constant overwhelm that never seems to go away is within us – the programmes that are running at the subconscious level – completely outside of our awareness. If we are to succeed in ending overwhelm and breaking the cycle, we need to address: Business strategy solutions such as time management, software solutions, planning and scheduling, hiring staff, delegating and team management are all important. But they haven’t done much to solve your debilitating stress because they are not addressing 1. The REAL problem. Equally, personal development and self-care solutions such as meditation, yoga, breathwork, self-hypnosis, or journaling - whilst also valuable tools and techniques - haven’t done much to solve the problem either. Why? In this episode, David and Rachel explain what is really going on at the subconscious level, and how to rewire your brain in a way that makes a LASTING change. In a way that means… You’re able to take everything in your stride… ____________________________ WORK WITH US www.ChaseLifeConsulting.com If you have any questions for the podcast please send them to: Rachel@ChaseLifeConsulting.com

26 Jan 2023 | 78 - The High Functioning Stress Addict – When the money is good but life is not | 00:27:42
The money is good… life is not! You’re stressed, overwhelmed and largely functioning on autopilot. At the start of your career you launched yourself into work. You were driven, hard working and took responsibility. Some of that drive came from ambition. However, some of that drive – unbeknownst to you – is also self destructive. The upside of these traits is that they’ve gotten you this far, and have contributed to your career and financial success. The downside is that they keep you stuck below a glass ceiling that you can’t break through. What got you “here” won’t get you “there”. Not only that, but they are the insidious cause of all your chronic stress and overwhelm, and it’s bleeding into and sabotaging your personal life. You find yourself stuck in survival mode more and more frequently. Which means that you have less and less time, space or energy to build a life by design. And if you don’t build a life by design you end up with a life by default. This episode is a huge revelation for so many stressed out professionals and business owners who are committed to excellence, but who feel overwhelmed, stuck, and frustrated. ....................... 💫Our Private Client Accelerator is open! 💫 You’re already a high achiever, the one that knows it’s all “figureoutable”. You command the vibe, the energy and the attention. You fundamentally know you can have it all. To be sexy AF, have a healthy body, ultra confidence, incredible relationships and be worthy of massive financial compensation for the work that you do. But you’re also frustrated…. And if we’re speaking honestly You’re done with the nonsense of continuing to play at a level that quite frankly… is beneath you. You’re hiding, unfulfilled and underperforming… and it’s been this way for some time now. It’s not your vibe nor is it aligned. Not with your deep inner self who knows it was made for more, capable of more, brought here for more. You’re ready. To upgrade yourself and upgrade your life. To unveil the high value woman, your next level, best version of yourself, who is lurking, deep within, waiting to be unleashed upon the world, and claim who it is you really are. 💫 For the woman who wants more and to learn how to play on HER terms with energetics and radical authenticity Email: rachel@chaselifeconsulting.com to talk personally + directly with us. 02 Feb 2021 | 33 – “I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID THAT!” – Binge Eating, Shame & Loneliness | 00:10:50
There is so much shame and loneliness associated with binge eating. When you struggle with issues around food you already feel embarrassed and inadequate so of course there’s a tendency to hide. All of which can amplify the sense of loneliness and isolation, even if you’re surrounded by loving people. We want you to know that whatever you’ve been going through, you are not alone, and there is hope. Today, we have the incredible privilege of sharing a story from one of our clients – in her own words - about a real low point in her binge eating life. It’s an emotional rollercoaster! Not only does it show you that you’re not alone, but it’s also proof that complete and lasting freedom is available. Thank you so much miss C for giving us permission to share your story. 31 Aug 2021 | 47 – The real reason why you can't stop eating… and how to fix it, once and for all | 00:33:54
Why is it that so many smart, busy, intelligent, professional women struggle so much with a poor relationship with food? Why do so many women get home after a long day of work, exhausted, frazzled and unable to make good food choices that support their fat loss goals? What makes them continuously and repeatedly choose to say fu*k it and choose pizza and wine instead of salmon and salad? Snacking, mindlessly eating, binging…. All these behaviours serve a function and fill a deep seated need...none of which has to do with food! Rachel and David explain why snacking and mindless eating is just the tip of the iceberg, the real reasons behind these behaviours, and what the number one thing in learning to overcome it is. They explain why these behaviours are so rampant in busy, professional, and driven women, and the overarching traits that predispose these women to struggling with food in the first place. Rather than throwing a bunch of airy fairy breath work and meditation solutions at you, this episode shows you what you can do TODAY to start breaking free from your food struggles for good. Rachel and David explain how to overcome your emotional attachments to food, the two biggest aspects you must address if you want to move forwards with your life and achieve lasting fat loss, and why the answer to all your hunger and cravings cannot be found in that one perfect diet. Episode 47 is a keeper. Both thought provoking and revealing, one to listen to, to share and to discuss among friends. Full of actionable steps that will have you on the path to food freedom...starting today! 12 May 2021 | 42 – Counting Calories Is Overkill For Fat Loss | 00:37:42
While you can’t have your cake and eat it if you want to look and feel your best all year round (yeah, sorry!) you certainly DON’T need to count every grain of rice, quinoa or god forbid, couscous, that you add to those little plastic pots you’re so fond of. In fact...Counting calories is utter overkill for the vast majority of us, not to mention...it’s punishingly miserable! In Episode 42 Rachel and David delve deeper into the dark side of calorie counting. They show us just how it erodes not only your self-confidence, self-trust, and your ability to read your own body signals, but can actually damage your confidence at work, your ability to make decisions and even impact how you lead your team. No bueno. We see how counting calories perpetuates perfectionism, fear and self-doubt, and further encourages the binge-starve cycle. But relax! Before you panic...Help is here! Always solutions based, the two show us how we can take a big picture approach to viewing our health and our weight. They explain how to navigate healthy fluctuations instead of resorting to drastic and nonsensical means “to reign it all in!” We learn why having a sustainable healthy nutrition plan is simply not enough, why fat loss is an emotional issue and NEVER a strategic issue, and why emotional fitness is actually the key to it all. A beast of an episode that will have you in fits of laughter while leaving you with some serious words of wisdom. A must listen! 12 May 2022 | 63 - Slacking Off Or Being Smart? How to know when to back off or push hard in your training | 00:41:09
How do you know when it’s appropriate to take your foot off the gas, have a lighter session and reduce volume and how do you know when you're just bullshitting yourself? Things are rarely black and white but sometimes we hold ourselves to impossible rules and standards that keep us trapped from not only progressing in our training, but in our lives. The problem is…. So many of us have lost the ability to think for ourselves – certainly when it comes to fitness & nutrition… We rely on someone else to tell us what to do, when to do it, and we’ve simply lost the ability to trust ourselves and our own intuition. However, there comes a point where you have to figure out what works for YOU and there is no right answer. Rachel and David delve into how to find that balance in training as a busy professional, how to let go of overanalysing and perfectionistic thoughts regarding diet and exercise, how to learn to think for yourself, how to trust your own decisions, and the key factors to take into account if you’re on the fence between going light or slogging through. Rachel explains exactly why she believes exercise should NOT be a form of therapy, the dangers of needing exercise in your life as your only outlet for stress, how to detach emotion from food and exercise, and the most important factor of all when it comes to balancing your training (hint: it’s not intensity). If you’ve ever wondered about the difference between listening to your body versus being lazy, or between pushing hard versus just flogging yourself and digging yourself deeper into a hole, then Episode 63 of the Chase Life podcast is most definitely your episode! 09 Jan 2024 | 96 - You Can’t Hate Yourself Skinny – The role of self worth & self acceptance in lasting weight loss | 00:58:16
A huge area of confusion for so many women when it comes to weight loss and fat loss is the subject of self love and self acceptance. We frequently speak to two different groups of people, both of whom are confused. The first group says, “If I learn to love and accept myself as I am, I’ll just end up lowering my standards and settling. If I accept my body as it is, and my eating habits as they are, then I won’t be motivated to change.” The second group says, “I’m scared to pursue a weight loss goal because it feels like I’m punishing myself. I feel called to be much more loving to my body and myself.” Both groups are confused, and both groups are wrong. Which is why both groups constantly suffer with internal conflicts where part of them wants one thing, part of them wants another thing, they feel torn in two directions, and they’re constantly disappointed and frustrated. In this episode we dive deep into the role of self worth and self acceptance in weight loss, and cover all of the following in detail:
If you’re serious about losing weight but have found yourself struggling for years, this episode will be invaluable in establishing the foundations you need to eliminate self sabotage and rebound and make a life-long change. ................................. 07 Apr 2021 | 39 – Fat Loss Is An EMOTIONAL Problem | 00:36:30
Less faff from the fitness industry and more stuff that works! Why you need to Marie Kondo the hell out of your emotional fitness and emotional management if you want to lose weight, get in shape or achieve a bad ass body transformation. Some of the bog standard advice for stress management typically includes things like journaling, breathing exercises, 30 minute meditation sessions upon waking (can you even manage 30 seconds?!) massages, spa days, mani-pedis, followed by a nice calm walk in the woods as solutions. Hmmm. All these do is offer temporary stress relief and even this is debatable since most woman with 2 + kids, a full time job and an actual life don’t have the time to throw down 8 hours at a spa. Come on.... you have a toddler pulling at your leg and fresh baby puke stains on your shirt while you struggle to even get out the door. Managing your stress and achieving emotional fitness (and your fat loss goals) means embracing uncertainty, letting go of the uncontrollable and seeing life from a wholly different perspective. Rachel and David show you how... ____________________________________________ If you have any questions for the podcast please send them to: Podcast@ChaseLifeConsulting.com If you’re ready to take decisive action to resolve your struggles with binge / emotional eating, stress, overwhelm, or low self esteem, you can book in for a call at: www.chaselifeintensive.com/call To find out more about who we are and what we do go to: www.ChaseLifeConsulting.com
23 Sep 2020 | 17 – FAT LOSS – Perfection vs Discipline – Is There A Difference? | 00:48:47
Perfectionism leads to an all or nothing mindset, and constantly being on and off the wagon. However, achieving significant, lasting fat loss results requires high standards and self-discipline. So, what’s the difference? How do you know if you’re being disciplined or perfectionist? How do you know if you’re allowing appropriate flexibility or if you’re losing self-discipline? In this episode David & Rachel clarify all these questions and explain how to create self-discipline that is easy and works long term. 26 Oct 2022 | 76 - The Most Important Weight Loss Principle That Nobody Is Teaching | 00:31:38
Most people think, if I just force myself to do the things that I need to do I’ll become the person I want to become just through sheer grit and repetition of those behaviours. So we knuckle down, grin (or not) and bear it, yet wonder why at the end of the day we either fail in our attempts at change, or worse still, achieve success only to be met with an overwhelmingly empty and sinking sensation of “oh, is that it….?!” Under these kinds of circumstances it’s easy to see how people lose motivation and inspiration…and who could blame them? After all, if, at the end of the process, you’re still the very same person with the same thoughts and feelings as you were at the very beginning, then what exactly is the point of it all in the first place? Episode 76 with David Godfrey sheds light on the glaring flaw in the system and delves into why, when we’re talking true and lasting transformation, changing behaviours is only part of the picture. Find out: -The number one most important aspect for you to address when it comes to success (be it body, life, finances, or relationships), that so many people miss. -The 3 things that form change and the critical error most people make when it comes to change. -Why focusing on strategy and “what do I need to do to get the thing?” is the exact wrong approach and what to do instead. -Why you attract relationships or circumstances that you don’t want (despite thinking you’re doing everything right). -What causes that horrible sense of emptiness despite achieving massive success and more importantly, how to avoid falling into this trap. -Why repetition of behaviours and forcing yourself to do the things that you need to do isn’t sufficient for long term success. -What it takes to let go of your coping mechanisms and personal limitations once and for all. -How to free yourself from showing up as who you think you should be and choosing who you’re stepping into from a place of inspiration and excitement, not fear and obligation. When it comes to transformation, of course there are things we need to do that are part of health and well-being, of financial success, of finding a great partner or cultivating a great relationship and sure, there are behaviours that are conducive to those things. However, unless we dive deeper and transform who we are at our core, true change will forever be out of our reach. Episode 76 of the Chase Life podcast unlocks the keys and shows you the how. 14 Jun 2022 | 65 - The Secret To REAL Self Confidence | 00:18:04
Confidence is the absolute foundation to creating the life that you love. Except…What’s behind real self confidence? And more importantly, how do you create it?!! The thing is… There’s a ton of bs and happy flower woo woo out there around “how to be more self confident”, but these approaches hardly, if ever, work long term. Approaches like “fake it till you make it” and “be it until you see it” are all well and good but are only ONE part of the picture. Episode 65 cuts through the fluff and puff and delves straight into the core foundation of self confidence, the role of self-worth and what that looks and FEELS like in action, the 2 biggest mistakes most people make that keeps them stuck in low self confidence and imposter syndrome, and why true self confidence is both an inside-out AND an outside-in job. At the end of the day, we can do all the inner and outer work we want but unless we combine, implement, and back this work up with action, true and genuine self confidence will always be out of our reach. Episode 65, shows you exactly what that action entails. If you want to learn how to be fully present, have UNSTOPPABLE self-confidence, make ballsy decisions, and develop the courage to behave in new ways that actually align with your new sense of identity… Episode 65 of the Chase Life podcast with Rachel Godfrey is one episode you DON’T want to miss. 22 Oct 2022 | 75 - Emotional Fitness 101: Am I emotionally fit or just suppressing my emotions? | 00:43:32
One of the core elements of what we do at Chase Life is helping people become more resilient, confident and capable of handling any circumstance or situation that life throws at them. At some point shit is going to hit the fan. That’s just life. And to have the skills to manage it when it does is so important to live a full and happy life. This is where emotional fitness comes in. But… what exactly is emotional fitness? Is it being stoic? Unresponsive? Unexpressive? And how do you know the difference between emotional fitness and blocking out or suppressing your emotions? Episode 75 of the Chase life podcast with Rachel and David Godfrey addresses and answers that very question! -Learn how and what we define as emotional fitness. -Learn why emotional fitness is not being stoic or emotionally unavailable. -The key difference between emotional fitness and suppression and where suppression comes from in the first place. -The effect of trauma on the body, and how emotional suppression can lead to not only behavioural but physical diseases. -The power of compassion and understanding in cultivating emotional fitness. -The 2 big components of emotional fitness and why you’re not a powerless pawn being pushed and pulled around by life, circumstances and other people. -Why emotional fitness is a skill and a process and why the more emotionally fit you are, the more vulnerable, open, and present you can be, the more successful you become AND the happier you become. Episode 75 is bursting with revelations and “ah ha!” moments that bring clarity to learning how to manage your emotions and your state, which, quite frankly, will take every single aspect of your life to the next level. 30 Mar 2022 | 61 - Why Weight Loss Doesn’t Create Lasting Self Confidence | 00:36:30
So many people think that “when I lose weight or get leaner/thinner or more muscular, then I’ll feel more confident or like myself more”. After all, you’re changing what you dislike about yourself so what could go wrong? Except… What happens when you do lose weight or lose a lot of weight yet still feel like that fat girl inside? What happens if you get to your goal weight or dream body and feel exactly the same as you did before with all the same doubts, fears, insecurities, and lack of self confidence? What then? Episode 61 gets to the heart of the matter and explains why, contrary to popular belief, weight loss does not create lasting self confidence, and more importantly, what DOES. We explain why hating yourself skinny fails long term, what the true elements for building long lasting change and self confidence are, what really lies behind the fear of getting to your goal weight or achieving the ideal body and not being able to maintain it, and exactly what needs to be in place for you to feel “I’m so comfortable in myself I’m just going to show up authentically unapologetically as who I really am”...and believe it! Which, paradoxically, creates the foundations necessary for you to lose weight PERMANENTLY, and enjoy the process. Episode 61 of the Chase Life podcast is filled with actionable advice that when applied, will begin to change your life TODAY. If you want to learn what truly builds authentic and lasting self confidence or are currently struggling with your own self-worth, then this is an episode not to be missed. 24 Aug 2023 | 87 - Perfectionism is the antithesis of high performance – here’s why! | 00:32:39
Perfectionism is one of the common, and one of the most debilitating sources of chronic stress, overwhelm and burnout. However, many perfectionists are completely oblivious to the fact that they struggle with perfectionism. Perfectionism is NOT the same as having high standards. Perfectionism is fear and stress based. High standards are outcome and purpose based. At the surface level, perfectionism is when you can’t stop looking for what’s not good enough – in your work, in your decisions, and even in yourself. You keep looking for the flaws, the inadequacies, what you’ve missed or overlooked, what other people could dislike, disagree with, or criticise. So nothing you ever do feels good enough, tasks take 10X longer than they need to, and you train your brain to hate your work! Once you become aware of the pattern, overcoming perfectionism can feel like an insurmountable mountain to climb. In fact, overcoming perfectionism can be surprisingly fast when you understand what’s REALLY going on. Episode 87 dives into the subconscious drivers of perfectionism, and how to go from a stressed, overwhelmed perfectionist, to a calm, confident and relaxed high performer with exceptional personal standards. ______________________________ www.ChaseLifeConsulting.com If you have any questions for the podcast please send them to: Rachel@ChaseLifeConsulting.com

26 Jan 2024 | 97 - Why Successful Career Women Can’t Lose Weight – The simple framework to succeed physically as well as professionally | 01:02:00
Most people will never understand the mindset, or the lives of high achievers. They don’t get the drive, the work ethic, or how you’re able to get so much done. They also don’t understand how time poor you are. However, we can’t ignore the fact that you really are time poor. We also can’t ignore the fact that you consistently handle more problems, responsibility, uncertainty, and high level decisions than most people could fathom on a daily basis. Which means that you’re stressed and frequently on the verge of decision fatigue a lot of the time. Furthermore, if you’re beyond your mid 30s, your physiology and hormones are already changing. All this must be catered for if you want to lose weight and optimise your physical health and mental performance permanently, instead of yo-yoing in and out of shape. In this episode we provide a simple framework for what to prioritise, and in what order, if you want to lose weight and optimise your physical health and mental performance, without having to sacrifice your career or your hard-earned reputation. We also point out some of the most important blindspots that are consistently… predictably… and yet unnecessarily keeping high achieving women who are successful in their careers, frustrated, disheartened, and UNsuccessful with their body and health habits. This episode contains invaluable information which, if implemented, will end years of struggle and frustration, and allow you to be as successful with your body and health as you are in your career. ................................. 04 Mar 2022 | 59 - Negative Body Image: Why it has nothing to do with changing your body. | 00:50:40
Negative body image affects so many people to varying degrees. At one end we have people who feel a little self-conscious and don’t like how they look around their cycle. At the other end we have the people with extreme feelings and dislike of their bodies – feelings that affect all aspects of their lives from their confidence, to their career, their relationships and even their ability to get dressed in the dark. The body positive movement will just tell you to love yourself, while others will say, “oh you’ll always have to manage it because it’ll always be lurking in the background” ….but where does that leave the rest of us? Episode 59 flips the script on its head and explains why resolving body confidence issues has nothing to do with changing your body and what really lies at the heart of the matter. Rachel and David delve into what gives rise to negative body image in the first place, whether it's bad or wrong to want to improve your aesthetics, the key emotional factors that must be in place if you are chasing a body transformation, and why the belief of “I’ve always been this way and I’ll always struggle with this” is absolutely and categorically untrue. Whether you’re a female chasing a body transformation, a mother with young daughters, or just a regular person who struggles low with self-confidence and a negative body image, Episode 59 is a must listen. You’re ambitious, driven, hardworking and prepared to do the work to achieve whatever it takes which is great but….on the inside? On the inside, you’re having a complete meltdown. If you’re interested in transforming your life, taking yourself to the next level, becoming unstoppable and achieving more than you ever thought possible, Episode 62 is your guide for getting there. …………………………… If you have any questions for the podcast please send them to: Podcast@ChaseLifeConsulting.com If you’re ready to take decisive action to resolve your struggles with binge / emotional eating, stress, overwhelm, or low self esteem, you can book in for a call at: https://calendly.com/chaselifeconsulting/chaselifeintensivecall To find out more about who we are and what we do go to: www.ChaseLifeConsulting.com
28 Apr 2021 | 41 – In Conversation With Dr Jade Teta – Next Level Relationships | 01:13:45
Are you great at spotting everyone else’s dysfunction but absolutely rubbish at catching your own? Are you searching for your other half, you know, that one special someone who is just out there waiting for you with roses, a limo, fine wine and why not, a private jet ready to whisk you off to the Maldives and... Oh come on! It’s time to stop living life and especially your love life as if you were Rachel McAdams from The Notebook! Sadly, this ain’t Hollywood! Listen, real life is certainly not all Disney and this outdated narrative is actually holding you back from finding, building and nurturing a truly successful and next level relationship. Find out why we need to toss the idea of “you complete me” and instead adopt the far better “you grow me” approach when it comes to finding love. Rachel and Jade show us why it’s not necessary (and actually harmful) to sacrifice our own identities if we want to have a successful relationship, and how we can and should retain part of ourselves as separate entities in order for the relationship to thrive. We discover why David has had to turn away from platinum hair extensions as a hobby and instead choose scuba diving and spearfishing, and why this may be a key to Rachel & David’s successful marriage. This show may ruffle some feathers but Rachel and Jade will absolutely blow your mind throughout this episode and leave you ravenous for more! So...Round two? 15 Sep 2023 | 89 - Personal Integrity – Respecting Yourself (and others!) | 00:43:42
Personal integrity is one of the most important foundations in developing the ability to execute and follow through on a massive scale. Integrity is doing what you said you were going to do - delivering on your promises. Personal integrity is delivering on your promises to yourself. With a foundation of personal integrity, you eliminate overthinking, you develop massive self belief, self trust and self confidence, and you back yourself to swing for the fences. The problem is that most people have conflicting promises. They don’t know how to manage when 2 things they said they were “definitely” going to do, come into conflict with each other. Or how to prevent this from happening in the first place. In this episode, Rachel and David discuss the nature and importance of Personal Integrity, and how to build it into your internal operating system. _____________________ WORK WITH US www.ChaseLifeConsulting.com If you have any questions for the podcast please send them to: Rachel@ChaseLifeConsulting.com

09 Jun 2021 | 44 – Fat loss, common training mistakes most women make in the gym, and postpartum recovery done right! | 00:48:18
One of the most informative and educational episodes to date! Rachel and David cover everything from the best way to lift weights if fat loss and getting toned is your goal, the biggest and most common mistakes women make in the gym and how to avoid them, how to eat and train postpartum, and the error of a desperation mindset! Rachel explains the importance of controlled lifting and tempo in eliciting changes in physique, the problem with doing so-called cardio weights(lots of reps, circuit type training with no logic behind the movements) that leave you exhausted and depleted versus following a proper periodized training program. She goes into what “circus training” is, movements that, while looking cool, don’t actually have any real effect on your body. The two explain the importance of keeping things simple in programming, considerations in making a plan for both the beginner and advanced trainee and the place of high intensity exercise in an intelligent and effective workout plan. Rachel explains why seeing a women’s health physio and specialist trainer is a MUST after giving birth(even if you’ve had a C-section or an “easy” pregnancy), how to start training the right way(it’s not running!), the importance of nourishing yourself with the proper food postpartum(you’ll find out how to eat and why), and how to handle that feeling of “oh wow, I don’t even recognize myself”, when you look in the mirror. The two touch on the key role mindset plays, why you cannot come from a place of desperation but one of nourishing self love when training postpartum, and the important shift needed in order for you to get excited about your goals when you do finally make it back to the gym! Episode 44 is an utter lifesaver and will help you dramatically course correct in your training, your health and your sanity! A scorcher of an episode! 15 Feb 2023 | 80 - Millions, Manifesting & Aligned Action - Life is Now, Press Play with Katrina Ruth | 00:48:58
“What if we grow up with the construct of, we find our paths by being on it?” In this episode Rachel and Katrina dig into: -Katrina’s own journey and how she has created the vision and $25m+ business -Why success isn’t saying yes to the thing that’s true to you but saying yes when you’re scared and terrified and doing it anyway. -Why the simple, basic questions are the ones that unlock everything and the one question that was most difficult for Rachel to answer when she was in the midst of feeling stuck and lost. -How life is sometimes making little adjustments to unlock everything but also knowing when, and if, to blow the whole thing up. -The importance of coming back to who you are and who you want to be and accepting that who you are is fluid and ever evolving. -Manifesting: Why clarity on vision is essential and how to get clarity on that vision. -What Kat’s tagline “Life is now press play” means, and how to apply this concept in your life. -The importance of a personal policy or code. -Getting to the place of knowing, and the BIGGEST hack on taking action that you’ve heard, to date. -How to say yes to truth and no to self (or soul) betrayal. -Why being who you are meant to be is a practice. -What happens when you’re clear and have your vision aligned… but then get stuck in the how… -Why Kat believes the how actually doesn’t matter and the approach you need to take instead. -The concept of collapsing time and how this relates to becoming the person you dream of, right now. -How to be audacious and bold and why, when in doubt, the only sure thing is to be MORE YOU. A paradigm shifting listen that leaves you with three thoughts: What’s possible? Why not? Why not me? A call to action that both simultaneously inspires you and lights a fire under your ass. ................................ You’re already a high achiever, the one that knows it’s all “figureoutable”. 26 Dec 2023 | 95 - How To Stay In Shape When You’re Busy | 00:55:09
One of the most powerful weight loss “secrets” is to switch your mindset from… “What’s the fastest way to get back on track?” …to… “How do I maintain the most basic consistency when life is at its most stressful?” One of the worst false assumptions people make in weight loss, is when they believe that if they go all in to getting in shape as quickly as possible, that they will somehow have some magical momentum that keeps them in shape when the next season of chaos and stress comes along. We’re about to see millions of people make this mistake in January. Instead, the magical formula is to develop a system that enables you to maintain the absolute basics of healthy eating, even when life is at its most stressful, chaotic and unpredictable. This episode explains exactly how to do that. We cover a lot of ground including:

What is a High Value Women and how do you know when you are one? Or what happens on the days that sometimes you feel “Hell yes!” I am that woman and feel utterly UNSTOPPABLE and on other days, well… not so much. There can be a lot of blindspots and misconstruing of the words around the term High Value Woman and the identity and role it has in your life. For example… Maybe you feel pressure to live up to a certain expectation. Or maybe you feel that if you’re not constantly striving for more and achieving and growing, then you’re failing miserable and are simply not enough. Episode 66 clarifies the issue and delves into the definition and traits of what a High Value Woman truly is and the 2 core principles behind the way in which Chase Life uses this concept to not only shape but inspire growth. Rachel explains what one of the BIGGEST blindspots and shortcomings with all personal development is, and the dangers of approaching self help and personal growth through the lens of “you’re still not good enough”. She delves into what the RIGHT reasons for chasing personal growth really look like, the importance and NECESSITY of a compelling future, how to let go of obligation and the pressure of “having to be” a certain way, and how to use the concept of becoming High Value Woman from a place of inspiration and as a tool to completely transform your life. Empowering and daring, Episode 66 leaves you with actionable steps that if implemented TODAY, will mark Day 1 of the rest of your life! 26 May 2021 | 43 – To booze or not to booze – How to navigate client dinners, socializing with friends and enjoying alcohol without royally screwing up your fat loss progress | 00:33:18
You’re either on a fat loss plan or you’re socialising... NONSENSE! No one is asking you to become a nun, shack up in a convent and shun all social engagements in favour of a nice night in (with your cat) chowing down on some delicious boiled broccoli and dry chicken...all served out of Tupperware of course! Good god. How bleak. Nor, for that matter, is anyone in any way shape or form condoning the measuring of wine poured into your glass just so you can stay “on plan”. This is ridiculous behaviour, and quite frankly, utterly unnecessary! Join Rachel and David in this highly refreshing episode as they take you through how to realistically and coherently navigate a healthy social life (with wine) while on a fat loss plan...without seriously sabotaging your progress, leaving you resentful or worse, leaving you friendless in the process! David explains the importance of differentiating between drinking as a means of escapism versus socialising, how the latter moves you towards emotions and needs you want more of (acceptance, fun, love, connection), and how to fulfill these needs in other ways that aren’t just, you know, the gym, food and alcohol. They show us how to construct a lifestyle that is conducive to looking and feeling your best year round, without feeling like you are making monumental sacrifices, missing out on all the fun your friends are having or resorting to desperation diets on the back end of a holiday! The two delve into self worth and why it is a key driver of all our behaviours, how it determines whether we get dragged along by the crowd...or whether we stand up for ourselves and construct a life that is in line with our values instead. Practically speaking, Rachel answers the question of: “How much alcohol is appropriate for me to drink on my fat loss plan?”, the rationale behind her answer, and why, if the reaction is more along the lines of... “What?!!! That’s all?!!”... then we know we’ve got a problem on our hands. An entertaining and insightful listen from our experts on how to live life fully, effectively and from a place of massive growth without compromising who you are in the process. The closing quote is pure GOLD...But you'll have to listen in for that one! However, no need to panic… help is on its way! In this episode Rachel and Emma discuss: -The effect of going on the pill early in life and the repercussions of that as you enter into perimenopause…and what you can do to mitigate the consequences. -How long it takes to arrive at a postmenopausal state hormonally. -Diet and lifestyle and how that DIRECTLY affects not only PMS but your hormones. -How to optimize lifestyle first, and when to look for alternative help. -The key pillars of what to do when your skin, hormones, and gut are out of whack, and the top 4-5 protocols Emma has someone do before she prescribes any sort of skincare treatment. -The role of emotional fitness in balancing overall hormonal health and protecting your energy. -The best and worst kind of exercise for your hormonal health and skin…and where most women go wrong. -Emma’s own personal journey and challenges, her battles with anxiety and rampant mood swings, and why she finally decided to go down the route of HRT. -Emma's step by step approach to balancing your hormones, her top products for skincare for any skin type, and why it’s about looking good for your age… not like you’re 20! 23 Sep 2022 | 70 - Eating To Get Lean AND Eliminate Food Issues: What nobody is telling you | 00:57:04
A big misconception is that eliminating binge eating, emotional eating, or a disordered relationship with food, and establishing LASTING food freedom is at odds with being able to prioritise the behaviours necessary to be lean, fit and healthy are at odds with each other. So many people feel trapped between approaches that feel like they’re excessively restrictive and controlled, versus creating a lifestyle that makes them feel calm and relaxed around food. David addresses this topic in detail, and explains why, in truth they work synergistically together. He explains why so much of what it taught in both the dieting industry and the health & fitness industry are exacerbating struggles with food such as binge eating, emotional eating, compulsive eating, and mindless eating. He then goes on to explain how to achieve your physical goals, in a way that works WITH your psychology, instead of against it, AND in a way that eliminates perfectionism and the all or nothing mindset. You’re either single and loving life, or you’re married and have a wonderful home life, perhaps with children too. You’ve had lots of success and built an amazing life for yourself… but something is missing. You can’t seem to make consistent progress with your body. You’re good for a while, but then life seems to get in the way, and you’re back to square one again. A lot of the time it’s an annoyance, but if you really think about it, it’s infuriating. It’s the final piece of the puzzle. You pride yourself on being an action taker and making shit happen in your life. You’re not in the habit of making excuses. So this one area of your life is at complete odds with your identity, and the person you feel you really are at your core. But for whatever reason you keep on sabotaging yourself. “Why the hell can’t I get a grip on my body goals?!” In this episode Rachel & David explain what’s standing between you and finally having it all – the body, business, relationships, and lifestyle. 22 Feb 2023 | 81 - A Billion Dollars, Feminine Leadership, and Your Investing Game - with Alison Simmonds | 00:43:57
When it comes to money and wealth creation, women are unable to easily access relevant, smart, empowering information and be able to understand what to do with their finances themselves. Essentially we’ve created this whole ecosystem of advisors and bankers and they’re all predominantly men and they speak predominantly to men and while there’s such an amazing amount of information, a lot of it is technical and very focused, and finding how to approach investing and portfolio management yourself is almost impossible. Alison Simmons, investment banker and founder of F3 Collective is here to change all that! In this episode Rachel and Alison discuss: - How Alison went from a rough and ready male dominated trading floor to launching F3 Collective and what that final push or tipping point was - The difference between rich versus wealthy - Why so many women, often with 6-7 figure businesses and a ton of responsibility, abdicate financial responsibility - Why digging into how you feel about money is fundamental to making progress - Principles she has in place for herself and for her clients and her top 4-5 core money making/money saving/wealth creation principles - Management styles, radical authenticity and how Alison’s leadership style and approach has evolved over the years especially in a traditionally male dominated world such as banking - Why being a mum is an ASSET to leadership and why a room full of traders is frighteningly close to a room full of toddlers! - The energy of money and how money needs to flow in order to grow The more knowledge you have the more opportunities you see the more confident you become in taking those opportunities. This is what ultimately leads to freedom. Episode 81 of the Chase Life podcast maps out exactly how to get there. > Register for Play Beyond The Rules https://www.playbeyondtherules.com/vippbtr > Follow Alison and F3 Collective https://www.facebook.com/F3.Collective and instagram @f3.collective

17 Nov 2021 | 53 - Women’s health, pelvic floor, lady bits, and everything in between! | 01:01:38
Are you someone who suffers from: • Painful periods? If so, Episode 53 is for YOU! Rachel welcomes her friend and women's health physio Jade Lucas-Reed to the podcast where they talk in a very candid and refreshing manner about all things vagina, pelvic floor, and everything else in between! The two discuss women's health, pregnancy, postpartum, and the importance of treating not just the clinical but the emotional when it comes to women's health. Find out what made Jade (originally a musculoskeletal physio) radically change her mind and become a women's health physio, how having her hip flexor released by a colleague drastically reduced her own pre-menstrual pain, why postpartum is only one element of women's health, and why EVERYONE, regardless of whether they give birth by C-section or not, needs to see a postpartum specialist. Jade explains the role of ayurvedic medicine and how she uses it in her approach in treating patients, how stress levels physically affect our uterus and pelvic floor, what to look for in a good women’s health physio, and the most common things Jade sees postpartum that are often missed. She explains the tell-tale signs of a dysfunctional pelvic floor, the three elements of a healthy and functioning one, the role of trauma (sexual or otherwise) and how it can manifest in our pelvic area, and what the emotion most closely associated with our pelvic area actually is. Episode 53 is one you DEFINITELY don't want to miss. Unbelievably informative, funny, and honest, taking a frank look at how we function as women and the importance (and necessity!) of cracking open a bottle of red and talking all things vagina with your girlfriends! Are you one of those people that no matter what you do, no matter how perfect you are with your diet and exercise, you still can't lose weight? Are you someone who can only lose weight if you drop below 1000 calories, and even then it's a miserable slog of a time? Or are you one of those people who have dieted for years and dug yourself into a hormonal and metabolic hole so deep that even looking at a piece of broccoli is enough to make you gain weight? If so, this is your episode! Rachel and David explain why being strict is the exact WRONG thing to do for weight loss and what to do instead, why perfection is setting you up for failure and fat gain, how to see discipline as freedom and not restriction, and why your beliefs about ¨good¨ foods and ¨healthy¨ foods may be absolutely desiccating your fat loss goals. Rachel reveals why women struggle to lose weight despite training ¨perfectly¨, the two biggest and most common mistakes most women make, how to make HIIT and cardio work for and not against you, and why skimping on sleep may leave you not only moodier but fatter as well. Find out what to do if you've damaged your hormones and metabolism from years of excessive exercise and dieting, the big pillars to hit for health and fat loss, why stress and overwhelm can lead to weight gain, and the #1 factor in achieving a slim, lean, fit and healthy body year round…(it´s not what you think!). 30 Apr 2020 | 2 - Calorie Counting & Binge Eating | 00:35:03
Counting calories creates a psychological environment that is very conducive to developing, or exacerbating binge eating. Calories matter when it comes to fat loss. We cannot escape the energy equation. However, the PROCESS of tracking calories as a long term tool for controlling behaviour often leads to perfectionism, an all or nothing mindset and rebound. In this episode, David and Rachel discuss why this happens and what to do about it. 21 Feb 2024 | 99 - Personal Leadership, Rachel’s F**k Ups & The Mindset Of Leaders & Entrepreneurs | 00:52:37
Leadership is vital skill for any entrepreneur, but it’s also a vital life skill for everybody. If you don’t lead your own life, you’ll drift and end up with a life by default instead of a life by design. In entrepreneurship – as in life – we encounter difficult, scary, and risky decisions. We come face to face with the TRUE nature of life which is uncertainty. Many people really struggle to handle uncertainty… They want to predict the unpredictable & control the uncontrollable… They want guarantees and protection that bad things, painful things, or unwanted things will NEVER happen… They want to avoid failure… at ALL costs… They agonise over making the RIGHT decision… They’re terrified of making the WRONG decision… A poor relationship with uncertainty is a recipe for over analysing, over planning, worry, anxiety, indecision, hesitation, and procrastination. In this episode David & Rachel discuss what it takes to be confident, bold and decisive in the face of uncertainty and change… WITHOUT being reckless. How are we able to make strong decisions and move forwards with certainty, confidence, and conviction, when we don’t have guarantees that we’ve made the “right” decision?! We deconstruct Rachel’s mindset and discuss some of the ways that she has “won” and “lost”, and the life & business lessons learned along the way. ................................. CONNECT WITH US! At Chase Life Consulting our mission is to empower half a million female entrepreneurs and executives globally to embrace and fulfil their true potential, unapologetically. We aim to inspire them to courageously pursue their passions, knowing who they are, what they stand for and where they are going in life. To optimise their physical and cognitive health; elevate performance standards and ultimately become a better version of themselves. 03 Nov 2021 | 52 - “Sometimes you just have to be a little bit brave” | 00:34:08
Want to know what really motivates you and lies at the heart of the destructive behaviours holding you back? Want to know the role that past conditioning and environment have played in shaping your behaviours up till now? Want to know what keeps you stuck, petrified and unable to act, whether it's making a career change, changing country, leaving a destructive relationship or taking action on something you keep promising yourself you will do, “when you feel ready?” Course you do! We all do! Episode 52 is all about mustering up the energy and courage to take bold decisive action, arming you with the tools, tactics, and inspiration you need to break out of feeling stuck and getting on the path to creating the life you want. Rachel and David explain why there is absolutely nothing wrong with you for feeling unable to act, why feeling stuck and powerless is something we all go through at various points, how overcoming fear and living with uncertainty are learned skills (and how to develop them), and the key mindset shift you can make TODAY in order to turn everything around in an instant. Learn what taking ownership really means, why you continue to engage in destructive behaviours despite wanting to change, what two needs you´re desperately seeking to meet (and how to meet them in an effective and empowering manner), and why making any decision is better than no decision at all. Episode 52 has it all. It takes the question of “what if it doesn´t work out?” and transforms it to… “but what if it does?” It shows you just what you need to do to take the plunge in your own life, to take a great giant leap of faith off the cliff… and make sure you fly! 24 Jun 2020 | 11 – BODY & SELF CONFIDENCE (It’s not what you think it is) | 00:36:07
Many of our clients have learnt to put on a mask of confidence. They are able to portray a convincing outer image, but inside they don’t feel it. This leads to many symptoms like imposter syndrome, perfectionism, over analysing, and people pleasing. It is also a catalyst for many distraction or numbing behaviours like emotional eating, alcohol, or emotional shopping. In this episode Rachel & David explain what true self confidence really is (not what most people would expect), and how to create ultimate self confidence that is always there at your core. Hiring an expert is the fastest way to do that… … BUT… … do you have the mindset required to get results from your guide? Are you someone who truly knows how to listen and integrate what you’re learning, or are you someone who “reloads” – waiting for your next opportunity to speak? Are you someone who knows the difference between being coachable and when to follow versus knowing when to trust your own decisions and go your own path? 06 Mar 2023 | 82 - Unleash Your High Performance Brain & Have It All | 00:37:07
We drill ourselves into the ground, going all out in work, then partying or escaping on holiday to blow off steam, or else going all in on our fitness and health goals, essentially running our life like one big campaign. Work or life is crazy and we think we just need to knuckle down and get the thing done because there’s light at the end of the tunnel and then finally we can relax. We can pull this nonsense off in our early 20’s and 30’s, but eventually we pay a heavy price, often in the realm of health issues, burnout, or to the detriment of our relationships. In this episode David and Rachel discuss: - What the campaign lifestyle is and what really lies at its root - How it’s rewarded both internally and externally and how to step away from this mentality - Why hustling is NOT necessarily a bad thing and the importance of learning how to grind early on - How to cultivate balance while actually INCREASING performance - What putting a boundary in place looks like at a practical level even for someone with a very high degree of responsibility - The difference between worrying and problem solving and how to take extreme self ownership without any of the self judgement Personal transformation can, and in fact SHOULD be fast. What got you here won’t necessarily get you there. In order to break through glass ceilings in any area of your life, sometimes it’s necessary to overhaul your entire approach. Most people who start a diet, very quickly start to feel a sense of pressure, stress, and OBLIGATION with the diet. They have a whole list of “should’s”: “I SHOULD do this, and I SHOULDN’T do that” Which tells us that they don’t WANT to change their diet or their lifestyle… they just feel like they SHOULD, because if they don’t they’re stuck feeling something negative – usually inadequacy or insecurity. As we often tell people, the only way fat loss lasts long term is when you sincerely fall in love with the process of healthy living. This episode dives into the three most important factors that make a diet feel like you’re “on a diet” instead of it being a lifestyle you love and embrace: 1. How to shift from OBLIGATION to CHOICE This week is the final chance to join this intake of Chase Life Intensive – our flagship programme for eliminating your struggles with binge eating, emotional eating, stress, overwhelm, or low self esteem. We introduce our approach and philosophy when it comes to energy work, and how we cannot separate… … the practical & scientific components of fat loss from mindset work & personal development… … which in turn cannot be separated from energy & frequency.
