29 Nov 20239. Unlocking Freedom: Discovering Your End Game with Jason Sisneros01:30:42

In this episode of "The Business of Doing Business," host Dwayne Kerrigan interviews Jason Sisneros, a successful entrepreneur who has overcome a challenging past. Growing up in a world of drugs, violence, and abuse, Jason shares his journey from homelessness to building a life of personal, business, and financial success. He discusses the importance of finding freedom on your own terms and mastering your psychology. Join Dwayne and Jason as they delve into the challenges and successes of entrepreneurship and uncover valuable insights for listeners.

Jason Sisneros is a hard-nosed, battle-tested CEO who has taken the science of performance and the art of leadership to the next level through his company, Anton Jae Global, Inc. He is widely regarded as one of the brightest minds in business and innovation. Among his past and current clients are Fortune 500 companies such as Nike, Comcast, Microsoft, and he has turned around more than 100 small to mid-cap companies, earning him the moniker, “The Architect”.

From his best-selling book, and his more than 3,000 presentations on leadership and business, to his career as the top speaker in the Tony Robbins organization and his dozens of corporate turnarounds, Jason has always looked to identify needs, to find solutions, and to create competitive businesses for entrepreneurs who really want to change. As a result of his ability to engage an audience to elicit radical change, Jason speaks on stages to some of the highest-performing business leaders in the world.

Jason has had an intriguing rise to the top of his profession. He did so, not through a traditional education, but through what he calls a PhD in street smarts (poor, hungry and determined). Raised in an environment of drugs, abuse, and a lack mentality, Jason traveled a road most of us only read about. From several broken noses, being kidnapped, witnessing family members held at gunpoint to ultimately watching the person responsible for all of this, his adoptive father, go to prison for the attempted murder of his mother and himself; he developed a unique view of the world.

After living a life that included dealing drugs, being stabbed, spending time in jail, being homeless, and ultimately contemplating suicide, he reached a crossroads. By having to overcome 30 years of negative programming in his life, he became his own first client. In less than four years, Jason held over 1500 workshops on the Psychology of Success in front of distinguished audiences. As a result of the massive success of his program, he has reached over 500,000 people worldwide and represented companies such as Toyota, Remax, American Express, Quixtar, Washington Mutual, Visa, United Airlines, and multiple Chambers of Commerce. Many nonprofits have invited him to be the keynote speaker for their annual fundraising events. His unique brand of leadership and life coaching is a blend of Brain Mechanics, Quantum Theory, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and cutting edge information on influence.

When he is not transforming companies and speaking on stages around the world, he spends his time as a philanthropist. He currently serves as CEO of Feed-a-Billion, a non-profit organization funding one billion nutritious meals to the underserved around the world and supports organizations dedicated to protecting women from domestic violence.

Most frequently, Jason works as an operator on the SERT Ministries human trafficking rescue group (operating under The Slave Free Project), where he participates in highly sensitive covert missions to deliver trafficked children to...

As a SEAL leader, he maximized his team’s effectiveness by forging unique and unlikely alliances. He transformed an offensive unit of Navy SEALs into a defensive Presidential protection unit in the midst of combat and single-handedly created the model for multi-disciplinary counter-terrorism operations out of a widely disparate patchwork of organizations as part of an Embassy team in the Middle East. Curt’s experiences as a SEAL reinforced his fundamental belief that the competitive edge for any organization in the information age is neither technology nor information, but the unparalleled power of an aligned team. Exclusively represented by Leading Authorities speakers bureau, Curt addresses the art of leadership, organizational change for the information age, and the talent of harnessing your own courage and heroism to inspire and empower individuals and teams.

Curt is dedicated to inspiring individuals, teams, and organizations to reach their highest potential by tapping into their inner hero. 22 Nov 20238. The Power of Perspective with Ryan Johansen01:43:39

In this episode of "The Business of Doing Business," host Dwayne Kerrigan interviews friend and entrepreneur Ryan Johansen. The theme of the episode comes back to the importance of focusing on gratitude and appreciating what one has instead of dwelling on what is lacking. Ryan shares his personal tradition of celebrating his "smashiversary”, a celebration he holds every year on the anniversary of a life-altering accident he had 25 years ago, as a means of expressing gratitude for being alive and for the life he has built. Despite acknowledging the presence of struggles and obstacles, Ryan chooses to redirect his focus toward finding ways to overcome or avoid them rather than fixating on what he lacks.

Ryan also delves into the significance of attitude when facing difficult situations. He highlights how one's attitude plays a pivotal role in determining the level of difficulty experienced during their journey. Ryan discusses learning the necessity of moving beyond blame and instead concentrating on managing one's attitude. Overall, this episode underscores the importance of focusing on the positive aspects of life, managing attitude during challenging times, and seeking ways to improve and find fulfillment. Ryan's insights and personal anecdotes make this episode truly captivating and inspiring. Tune in to learn more about Ryan's journey.

Ryan Johansen's story is a rich tapestry of resilience, passion, and joy. Born in Whitby, near Toronto, into a real estate family, he naturally gravitated towards the industry. Over 26 years, he has navigated through Toronto's bustling real estate market and the serene settings of cottage country, developing a profound understanding and love for his profession. Ryan's negotiation skills are an art form, where each client interaction is an opportunity to achieve the best outcome, blending insight, determination, and market knowledge.

His life took a dramatic turn in 1998 when a motorcycle accident resulted in paraplegia. However, this challenge only amplified his zest for life and resilience. Ryan is not only a real estate expert but also a masterful storyteller, engaging and inspiring with tales from thrilling property deals to personal experiences. His storytelling deepens connections, making every interaction with him memorable.

Outside his professional realm, Ryan is an embodiment of adventure and charisma. He's passionate about adrenaline-fueled activities like skydiving and snowmobiling, yet also finds peace in nature's quiet moments, especially during lakeside sunsets. In the kitchen, he transforms into a culinary expert, enjoying cooking and wine, and loves hosting dinners for friends and family.

Ryan Johansen's life reflects a blend of exciting adventures, heartwarming moments, and professional triumphs. His humor and generosity have made him a beloved figure in his community and among his peers. Whether it's closing a deal, partaking in extreme sports, or hosting a dinner, Ryan's life story is an inspiring journey of living life to the fullest.
