Yes, summer is in full swing (despite it not officially starting for a couple of more weeks), so the students of Geoukkan High get a chance to show off the latest season's fashion. But, of course, there's also a full week of free time to discuss! Jonathon and Tom run through what they do each day of this final week of May and the first day of June, including discussions around new Social Links for both hosts, some social stat rank ups, and more.

But the week isn't only about free time. While there aren't necessarily major story milestones, there are plenty of character-building moments to dive into this week. Tom and Jonathon discuss some hilarious Junpei moments, an important evening with Akihiko, and some new goings-on at school. Perhaps most importantly, Tom finally finds out what happens when the fridge has some free space in it!

As we're also just about to head into a new full moon, we spend some time this week digging into the next section of Tartarus, including Tom's first impressions. Plus we've also got some listener comments and questions, a new Pop Quiz, and more.

What's bonkin' everybody? As our Persona 5 Royal playthrough continues, and reaches its conclusion, Jonathon and Tom first take some time to discuss what our plans for the show are now that we've wrapped up P5R. Following the traumatic events of last week, S.E.E.S. gets a bit of a break when the gang is tasked with work experience week at school, leading to a minor time skip. That also means we discuss some of the surprising gray area Strikers finds itself in when it comes to depicting its villains so far, while also reflecting back on how this Jail tees up some key character growth for Yusuke. There are multiple days of major reveals to discuss, so we go in-depth on our thoughts about what we learn regarding the gang's backstories, the advancements to the main plot, and just why exactly everyone seems to be in a bummer mood by the end of the week. From Junpei's anger to Yukari's frustrations to Mitsuru's backstory and so much more, this week in Persona 3 Reload offers no shortage of impactful scenes for us to discuss.

Our week is predominantly taken up by the daily track practices that take up our daytime activities, but that doesn't mean the week is lacking in key topics to cover. The bulk of the episode is, of course, spent breaking down our free time activities. From social links nearing the end of their stories, to actually finishing some, Jonathon and Tom make good progress on proving the main character has at least one or two friends who will hang out every day for a week straight. We also dig into what it's like if you decide to hang out with the movie festival that is currently going on in Iwatodai.

Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. On episode 9 of the Persona 3 Reload playthrough this season, the hosts cover the events of June 9-15, which offers the members of S.E.E.S. a chance to debrief following last week's full moon operation.

As last week ended in a climactic showdown that brought with it new revelations for the team, a new party member, and some important bonding moments, this week offers some insight into how the protagonist and team are grappling with what occurred. Tom and Jonathon dig into the fallout of that full moon, including Fuuka's decision on whether to join the team, as well as Yukari's feelings about the situation and what the team has now learned.

The week also gives us the introduction of some new gameplay elements with the reveal of Theurgy attacks, and of course the cool new outfits that come along with that moment. But in addition to life in Tartarus, the week also gives Jonathon and Tom a chance to further dig into some new and existing social links, develop their skills, and more. The duo dissect how their paths are both similar and divergent, in addition to offering their thoughts on some of the character relationships so far.
