21 Oct 2020 | Carrie Murray, Founder of BRA Network | Support & Community For Female Entrepreneurs | 00:41:00
Carrie is the founder of BRA – Business Relationship Alliance, a network of powerful women devoted to advancing female-owned businesses by providing the community, collaboration, mentorship, empowerment and support needed to flourish as an entrepreneur. Carrie set out to create a community where the key factor was the advancement of female entrepreneurs (at all levels) and built its foundation on three fundamental core values: 1. Collaboration over competition; 2. Commitment to each other as professionals and to hire within their network first; and 3. Advance women as experts in business through educational opportunities. In doing that, she also created a community where women could be viewed as valuable while still feeling comfortable being vulnerable. Once she hit 100 members she left running the school to focus on BRA full time. Carrie is also an active philanthropist donating both anonymously and publicly to organizations like Dress for Success, a nonprofit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence, and WeSpark, which provides cancer treatment centers in Los Angeles. She still loyally drives her two kids to school every day and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Sean Murray, from CBS’ hit show, NCIS. 12 Sep 2024 | Lessons - Forget Everything You Know About Sales | Ari Galper - Founder & CEO of Unlock The Game | 00:13:20
➡️ Like The Podcast? Leave A Rating: https://ratethispodcast.com/successstory In this “Lessons” episode, we explore the groundbreaking approach to sales pioneered by Ari Galper, Founder & CEO of Unlock The Game. Ari redefines traditional sales methods, focusing on trust-building and genuine human connection. He challenges the outdated techniques of follow-ups and pressure-driven tactics, teaching how to foster deeper conversations that can lead to a one-call close. Building Trust on a Cold Call: Ari reveals how the typical sales introduction—rushed and impersonal—kills the deal from the start. By simply asking for help and engaging the prospect in a two-way dialogue, salespeople can break the stereotype and establish trust right from the first interaction. It’s about removing the pressure and focusing on genuine connection rather than the sale. The Power of a Mindset Shift: Traditional sales often focus on pushing the deal forward. Ari challenges this approach, urging salespeople to instead seek the truth and trust in whether they can help the prospect. By being present and creating a "bubble of vulnerability," salespeople can build deeper connections that lead to higher conversions. The One-Call Close: Ari introduces his one-call sale system, which eliminates the need for multiple steps and follow-ups. By building enough trust during the first conversation, salespeople can close deals in one call, provided the prospect is qualified. This approach shortens sales cycles by addressing the real issue—lack of trust early in the process. ➡️ Show Links https://successstorypodcast.com YouTube: https://youtu.be/SevtLRnAp0E Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6jQoiAJYQm3dA9MxiXopHP?si=057127fe5a214d0f ➡️ Watch the Podcast On Youtube https://www.youtube.com/c/scottdclary Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

➡️ If you liked the show, please subscribe & leave a podcast review on iTunes! https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/success-story/id1484783544 ➡️ For More Episodes Visit: www.successstorypodcast.com If somebody asked you, “Who owns your house?” you would probably say, “I do.” If they asked you, “Who owns your car?” you would say, “I do.” But who owns you? It’s a simple question at face value. We’re all about body autonomy in 2022, and most people would say that, of course, they own themselves. But what does that mean? What does it entail? In the era of big data and artificial intelligence, ‘we’ are no longer just flesh and bone. Our identities are intertwined with terabytes of data: our social media profiles, our search engine habits, our digital possessions. The food we order on Uber Eats, the books we borrow from Amazon, the music we stream on Spotify — all of it is collected and collated by corporations and governments in order to create a comprehensive profile of our likes, dislikes, and interests. This data is incredibly valuable. Facebook, Google, and other tech giants make billions of dollars every year by selling access to our personal data. Governments are also interested in collecting and collating our data, often for nefarious reasons. In the UK, for example, the government was caught illegally collecting citizens’ Facebook data in order to target them with political ads. So who owns this data? And what exactly can they do with it?
