Justin Vititoe is a husband, father, military veteran, has a lot of survival knowledge, and was a participant on season 2 of the History Channel's survival show, Alone. On this episode we hear Justin tell a story of getting lost on Boulder Mountain, Utah while on a wilderness experience with David Holladay. This turned into an intensely personal and spiritual experience for Justin with his life being saved by David doing something that likely went against everything he knew to be a good decision.

Dr. Scott Hammond is a professor in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University as well as a Search and Rescue expert with over 400 call outs on his resume. Specifically, Scott is a K9 handler with the Utah County Search and Rescue team. Scott is also an accomplished author, and has written an excellent book about survival that weaves lessons from wilderness survival into our day to day lives.

A huge thank you to Scott for being so personal, open, and genuine on this episode. We laugh, cry, and everything in-between and I hope you do the same!
