Making friends with our emotions is vital if we are to step into our purpose. Becoming who we truly are and aspiring to our talents and gifts, means embracing the heart and all it carries. This apprenticeship is a unique approach of embodiment with your creative and spiritual gifts, through exploring archetypal qualities, that uncover new or forgotten tools and resources. This is a path of discovery and opportunity, creating a vocation that is fulfilling and purposeful.

We work with each other to find change, self-realisation and fulfilment allowing ourselves to grow, to find our own path, to inspire others and to develop authentic leadership in conscious embodiment of our gifts and the purpose of our soul.

In this body of work we apprentice not to a person or theory but to our own life-journey, our individual story and experiences. Caroline, with others, developed this understanding using a variety of tools and by encouraging creativity. Apprentices also enter and continue to build this community as a vital and empowering system for themselves and others.

There are three levels. First and second levels can interweave as needed. These levels give you the tools and resources to awaken the gifts and talents you hold, taking you on a journey to look at what holds you back, what your challenges are and where they originated.

Our facilitator leadership training programme is level three. As each apprentice achieves their own authority, they gain responsibility in holding space and guiding others along their particular journey whether through conscious dance or other creative projects.

They can if they wish become successful as facilitators of Middle Earth Medicine (MEM), or of their own body of work using the principles and ethics of MEM.

I am really ok to talk about my menopause. It's one of the most powerful experiences women can have. And don't we want to empower our femininity and our communities of women folk? It's time we held a different attitude about menopause. It's not a problem, but many attitudes towards it are.

I am in my 13th year post menopause, and I have loved it. I want that for other women, so I encourage a creative approach, a rite of passage and a gateway to enhance the experience.

I offer gatherings for women as well as one to one counselling at this time.

I am empowered by my menopause and I want you to be as well.

In this episode I share some of my own experience of the drum journey and why I offer it as part of my ongoing study groups and workshops. I use it in dance and in meditation and journey work. It has been a profound experience for me and has given me a deep connection to creativity, my soul purpose and the spirit world.

A deep dig into the dark night of the soul with Mark Walsh, which I hasten to add includes sex, drugs, worms (not for the feint hearted) and aikido! He is known as Mr Embodiment who runs a fabulous body of work called Embodiment Unlimited, I know it's great because I've taken part and it rocks.

Mick has had a diverse career since leaving school aged 15-years in 1972. He has worked as a builder’s labourer, served as infantryman in the British Army for three and a half years, and between 1977-83 he travelled and worked around many parts of the world. From 1983-86 he lived in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery, where he experienced a spiritual emergency. This transformative experience eventually informed his vocation to train as a therapist.

Mick worked for many years as an NHS occupational therapist in acute mental health settings and in a specialist psychological therapies team. During this time he spent nine years training in Process Oriented Psychology. He then spent ten years working as a Lecturer and Director of Admissions within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK. Mick’s doctoral thesis (2012), along with his peer-reviewed articles and book chapters are mostly focused on the activation of our transpersonal potential and the process of renewal within experiences of spiritual emergence and emergency. 

Mick is deeply interested in how our transformative experiences inspire our personal processes of individuation, as well as our collective efforts to tackle the multiple crises in the world at this time. 

Mick has written three books, The Unselfish Spirit 2014 (Scientific and Medical Network book prize winner), The Visionary Spirit 2018 and The Restorative Spirit 2022 (Scientific and Medical Network book prize winner). He was Author in Profile at the 2014 Hostry Festival, and was interviewed about his work at the 2015 Hay Festival and also on Conscious TV in 2016. Mick retired from academia in 2015. Occasionally he runs workshops and speaks at events when invited. Mick lives in Norwich with his wife Hannah. He is a father and grandfather.

She has had several exhibitions and her art sits in collections in the UK, US, Ireland and the UAE. She is a much in demand teacher at international events and teaches regular e-courses on creative writing, editing and publishing.

This week, it's me sharing on my podcast, some words about Solstice and a poem, about dance. A short poem I wrote many years ago when my children were small, when the dance had taken me to a deeper enquiry into myself that I had never expected it to. And a poem that helped me to understand the importance of surrendering to a power greater than myself.

Attila Korbely was initiated to the Nganasan Ngamtusu’o path, the last Nomadic hunters of the Tundra Desert. His Spirit Grandfather is the famous shaman Demnime Ngamtusu’os who lived with his blind daughter Evdokia Demnimeevna who is ‘visited’ by dyamada spirit helpers of deceased relatives, animals and strangers. Lydia Akcenova is the same age as Attila. She is Demnime's direct bloodline granddaughter. Attila is his Spiritual grandson. When Demnime died, he visited Attila at the age of seven. He talks of his visible form becoming a ‘kind of western shaman’ but his spirit being from the Tundra. He is a blood relative but also an initiate of the Nganasan spirits.

His initiation started from birth, where he had to live without human touch. He studied nature sciences from a very young age. He studied ecology and became a lecturer at University of Ethology, Sociology, and Scientific Communication where he was involved in very high research. He then became a photographer for the Hungarian editorial of National Geographic. He travelled the world bringing his publications from the Artic to the Equator. His Arctic work connected him back to his initiation and the work with Siberian Tajga.

Rose Rouse is a London-based writer/editor/poet who was born in Yorkshire and spends part of the year with her partner, Asanga Judge, in North Wales.

In 2016, she co-founded Advantages of Age – a social enterprise which challenges media stereotypes around ageing. She writes and commissions pieces for the website advantagesofage.com, edits them, and curates the FB group. In 2023, she edited an anthology of these pieces – Sex, Death and Other Inspiring Stories – the Advantages of Age handbook to getting older funkily which is now for sale. There was also the first AofA Awards Ceremony at Hoxton Hall which went down a storm.

In 2021, she was awarded an Arts Council England grant to put together the performance Dance Me To Death with choreographers, Rhys Dennis and Waddah Sinada from FUBUNATION and a group of Over-60s non-professional dancers. It took place in Kensal Green Cemetery and there is a short film which has been screened at a host of festivals.

Eartha spent her childhood with her identical twin sister immersed in mythology, shamanism, art and also deep trauma! Her path has been self healing through deeply knowing and harnessing the dark night of the soul. She initiated herself through psychedelics as a young woman.. Eventually this path led her to her shamanic teachers, mostly women.. She was 27 when she met her first teacher who taught her astral travel and lucid dreaming.. She stopped at that moment ingesting any substances and began the journey of integration of her girlhood shamanic experiences through trauma, and her young woman shamanic experiences through psychedelics.. She then began studying shamanism for her own recovery. She had two daughters and began her work with rites of passage and mending the soul of the village..  She spent most of her adult life on the road, bringing her daughters up in a beautiful wooden lorry, living an indigenous lif as much as she could. Living in reciprocity with all life through the heart. She now has a one to one practice in the uk and is building a temple for the new earth in Portugal

Lenerd achieved success in the business corporate world at a relatively young age. Then in 2013 after a big internal shift, he resigned as CEO of an insurance company in Cape Town South Africa. He sold and gave away most of his possessions and bought a backpack and a one way ticket to Lima in Peru. This started a five year journey of exploration and learning around the world. He visited five continents and 35 countries. His next destination was always the next most powerful learning opportunity he could find. He underwent and partook in numerous initiations, rituals, workshops and trainings across many areas, but specifically in spirituality and sexuality

Annie Spencer is a ceremonialist and workshop leader. She has been running groups and trainings for nearly 40. She has a background in humanistic psychology and earth-based spiritual traditions, she is skilled at moving between spiritual teachings and the disciplines of psychology.

She was apprenticed in a North American tradition in the ‘80’s and has studied Mayan teachings from Guatemala for the past 15 years. 

Annie does not forget the traditions of her own land and hopes to enliven and strengthen them with the teachings she brings from other ancient ways.

Pete Bengry is an internationally acclaimed professional percussionist, specialising in shamanism, sound healing, music production and one-to-one consultations. This is a journey from early childhood and a love of cars to now creating some spectacular works of art, all out of metal. Jon Mills has been fabricating works in steel for over 40 years. His early years were spent producing sculpture and automata for speculative exhibitions and galleries, the last 15 years seeing more and more public commissions. With a preference for commissions which have a functional element, the work has included bridges, clock-towers and way-markers as well as many decorative gates & railings for civic buildings and schools.

Very often the local community (normally a school group but not always) is involved in the process. If practical, schoolchildren have been bussed to his workshop and had hands-on experience of metalworking, including plasma-cutting, forging and (the favourite), quenching the hot work in a bucket of water.

All work is carried out in his own workshop, in Brighton, East Sussex, although he will often draw specific designs to be sub-contracted out for laser cutting, which he will then manipulate and forge/ fabricate/weld together, prior to delivery to finishers for protective coatings etc.

She helps parents who parent with a narcissistic partner or ex to preserve sanity, take their life back and support their children. Nisanka’s experience of growing up in highly narcissistic environments and later being in narcissistic relationships led her to reflect on her own life at a point when she was severely depressed and suffering from C-PTSD. Since then she has been healing from her inner child wounds and narcissistic abuse to build a thriving life for her and her daughter. 

Nisanka was in teaching before she changed her career to become a Coach. She lives in the UK in a small town close to Brighton. She enjoys nature walks, cooking, stand up comedy and writing poems.

Alice Chinn, is a certified meditation teacher, Connected Kids™ trainer, and founder of Meditation for Misfits. Lynn Gosney has been on the shamanic path all her life and shares her knowledge having run her own shamanic centre Caer Corhrain in Kent for over 20 years.

Since my late teens I have been obsessed with self-inquiry, and read everything I could get my hands on in an attempt to understand the mind, relationships, and... what it means to be human. I had just completed the first year of a degree in Music Therapy when I met my love, Rob, and after a stint in Barcelona teaching English (and giving puppet shows to kindergarten kids) we returned to Blighty to start a family.  Family life was, as I suppose it always is, a shock to the system. :-) Still pretty broke, and now suddenly faced by the reality of 'settling down' with no meaningful career to support us - we started to think about how we could turn our situation around. 

We both read the book 'Secrets of a Millionaire Mind'  by T. Harv Eker and found ourselves slowly beginning to ask 'what if...?'

The answer was plain to me:

Empower decent, dedicated people. Heart-centred, spiritually-minded entrepreneurs to liberate self-doubt & limiting beliefs, get out their own way and TRUST their biggest vision, so that they may grow their businesses, make their dreams a reality, impacting way more people, and thus contributing to birthing a new earth."

Rory has worked around the world as a builder, shipping lawyer, seaweed farmer, educator, forester and wood crafter. He is now into year five of creating a beautiful nature space within a mature conifer plantation in Scotland. Groups from diverse local communities are welcomed to engage in silence, wandering, eating, crafting and sharing. His motto is to live simply so that others can simply live, with primary interests revolving around indigenous identity and intuitive creativity.

Stephanie MacKay is the founder of Myth Club and is co-founder and Director of Fianna Wilderness School. She specializes in ancestral knowledge, earth-based skills, ceremony and myth. Stephanie has a degree in literature, which has been enriched by over 15 years of transformative practice and study. She has delved deep into the realms of myth and initiation through trainings with Animas Valley Institute, Haven Institute, Wilderness Awareness School, and over a decade of study with Martín Prechtel. Her work is deeply informed by the time she spent in Alberta collaborating with Blackfoot and Métis elders as a part of the Rediscovery Initiative. She has held the role of senior guide and director at nature-based organizations across Western Canada. 

Stephanie is dedicated to uncovering the vestiges of intact cultural origins within the body of old European mythologies. Drawing from the wellspring of these old mythologies, she seeks to uncover the hidden pathways that lead us to our cultural origins—reviving traditions long forgotten and holding space for the rehydration of ancestral wisdom.
