This show is bad, but not as bad as we've seen lately. Chris Harris and James Storm have their star making performance by cutting their best promo ever up to this point before they defend the tag team titles against The Disciples Of The New Church. Plus, AJ Styles defends the X-Division Title against Jerry Lynn, BG James faces Sonny Siaki, Miss TNA Bruce has his last ever singles match, Jeff Jarrett continues his face turn against Curt Hennig and Ron Killings has some words for Mr. Wrestling III. Today on the Smoky Mountain Re-Watch-Along Project, it is the single most graphic moment in Smoky Mountain history. Kevin Sullivan goes one on one with future Death Match star, Wing Kanemura. Sullivan pulls out his spike and leaves Kanemura a bloody mess, including ripping open his arm. In between that, we have amazing promos from Arn Anderson and Jim Cornette, plus Killer Kyle challenges Tim Horner for the Beat The Champ TV Title. Syxx-Pac defends the X-Division Title against AJ Styles moments after he makes out with April. You'll never guess what Brian Lawler does in response. Jerry Lynn faces Sonny Siaki in what may be Siaki's best match ever. Plus, Jeff Jarrett, Curt Hennig, BG James, Ron Killings and Scott Hall are all wrestling each other, Hennig is on a lot of drugs, Hall is on a lot of drugs, Hennig calls Diamond Dallas Page a total mark for some reason, and we have a 5-way X-Division elimination match to determine the next X-Division #1 Contender. Today on Something Else, it’s Wednesday, so it’s Total Nonstop Arya! Arya and Cyndi, review the 11th edition of NWA: Total Nonstop Action from August 28, 2002, with the 2nd half of the first Death Of TNA! Witness a show completely lacking in attention to detail that ends with an exceptional main event, which is actually the best TNA match up to this point. Today, a 3-way ladder match with Low-Ki, AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn for the X-Division Title headlines the show and does it really matter what else is on the program? Well, Tenay and West plug a World Title match between Ron Killings and Brian Lawler and are then shocked when Killings is on the show, which is almost as bad as Don West trying to outlaw ladder matches and then forgetting all about the main event that they’ve plugged 212 times up to that point. On top of that, Bruce defends his Miss TNA title against April Hunter and Arya somehow confuses two entirely different women’s wrestlers and tries to play it off! All that and so much more. A fun show as always!

The Smoky Mountain Re-Watch-Along Project is off and running this week with further updates in the saga between Primetime Brian Lee, Bullet Bob Armstrong and The Master. Who is the man behind the mystery? The Rock & Roll Express are scheduled to challenge the Heavenly Bodies for the Smoky Mountain Tag Team Titles, but Robert Gibson hasn’t arrived yet due to his Mom having emergency surgery. Will he arrive in time for the championship match? Plus Tim Horner falls flat on his ass…literally!

Today on Something Else, Arya and Trae dive head-first into October 15, 1983! On Mid South, Trae loses his ever-loving mind about the debut of Leaping Lanny Poffo. What did Lanny do that caused Trae to freak out? Listen! Also, Butch Reed has chosen to defend the North American Title and wants the fans to choose his opponent, however he has final right of refusal over the challenger. If that’s not enough, he is going to team with Jim Neidhart to take on Magnum TA and Hacksaw Jim Duggan for the tag team titles and the 6’ Art Crews wrestles. On World Class, it is Jimmy Garvin, with Sunshine and the debuting Prescious, taking on David Von Erich. However, Kamala wants an up close and personal view of the proceedings. Whatever. So Jarrett wrestles Scott Hall, but before he could do that, out comes Puppet The Psycho Dwarf, who pulls a fricking fun on him. Thankfully Jarrett has a steel chair, which is an appropriate defense to a gun. Plus The Truth becomes Ron Killings, Bruce challenges for the Miss TNA Title, Low-Ki wrestles Jerry Lynn and we get a total cluster fuck in the main event! Another fun show!

Today on Something Else, it’s Wednesday, so it’s Total Nonstop Arya! Arya and Cyndi are looking at the October 30, 2002 episode of NWA: TNA. Today, TNA has their second good show in a row as today AJ Styles defends the X-Division Title against Amazing Red in a phenomenal main event. Quite possibly the best one-on-one match in TNA history up to this point. Plus Curt Hennig is still obsessed with Diamond Dallas Page, a man, who again, is not in the company, America’s Most Wanted is finally America’s Most Wanted, Scott Hall challenges R-Truth for the NWA World Title and a #1 Contender’s Tournament starts! Don Harris is named the referee of the tournament and then promptly fired, Miss TNA Bruce has a not bad match and Jerry Lynn has another great match with Sonny Siaki. Another fun show as always!
