Jared played through the latest Ys game and really likes that series and wonders what it will take for it to gain more traction in the west. Nick played Nine Sols and absolutely loves it, unfortunately Jared does not, which leads to a lengthy back and forth regarding how the combat works in the game.

We continue to game under quarantine, which means a whole lot of Animal Crossing. We talk more about the game and what our significant others think of the game.

It's the last full Gamescast before Nick goes on a short maternity leave. The guys try some Weller Full Proof Bourbon and come away impressed by what it has to offer. Everybody is talking about Blue Prince and Nick and Jared agree with the hype on this creative roguelike puzzle game. Jared is playing The First Berserker: Khazan which is a new Rougelike that he is pretty positive about.

This weeks short has the guys talking about gaming crack.  Meaning we each talk about the game that we always fall back to. The game that feels comfortable and is always there when we need it.

We dive into the buggy mess that is Cyberpunk 2077 on this weeks Gamescast, while talking about expectations that the game had and if it can still win us over. Midds is deep in the world of Fifa ultimate team and talks to us about it's problematic systems. Jared has finished up Demon's Souls and maintains that it is the weakest of the Souls games, while Nick started streaming Dark Souls on Twitch.

Nick is nearly done with Persona 5 Royal and the game has completely drained him. He explains how the games systems broke him down over 120 hours, while covering a few of the controversial characters within the game. Persona 5 has a massive amount of fans, but Nick isn't one of them.

This week we sample some beers from Shades Brewery and try to figure out what market they are targeting. We played through Miles Morales in preparation for Spiderman 2 and talk about what the sequel needs to do. Jared is working through Remnant 2 and is enjoying it. The guys give updates on a fee games and mull going to EVO next year.

TowerFall has come to the Nintendo Switch, so that gave us an excuse to talk about it.  We got together and played the retro throwback.  It is brilliant.
