Rashad Lipford started playing rugby his senior year of high school for proud program, Memphis Inner City Rugby. Which spurned a passion to create a team at the Historically Black College and University, North Carolina A&T. He's been developing the program over the last three years, getting the culture of the program together and has been loving every moment of it. Rashad talks to us about his background and how it came naturally to him to want to a lead the way to founding a rugby team in a historical manner. We also speak on the challenges that he has faced in sustaining school and sports.

Tito Miranda came from humble first-generation immigrant beginnings. He started his rugby journey as a crossover player playing in a tiny private college in the middle of nowhere Maryland to becoming the head coach of the fourth-ever active historically black college and university rugby men's program. Carille Guthrie is an HBCU Alum, rugby player, engineer, and international traveler and so much more. She has been supporting rugby where ever she lands, regardless of whether it's working with Doctors across borders in Ebola containment, or helping to young rugby players in Malawi, she is always representing her community. Kimani Davis has become a staple of the community in the northeast part of the United States. He is one of the co-founders of R.O.OT.S Rugby, and the founder of the M.A.D.E. (My Actions Defy Expectations) movement. He has focused on educating minds and creating programs of mentorship for those looking to find their public voice through their identity. Davis spoke on his path through rugby and how he became involved with the sport,  how he sees the next generation impacting social change, and what people need to do to make impactful change in rugby.

Seifuddin "Seif" Saafir is former rugby player, and current co-coach of Morehouse College Rugby. Saafir was part of the first two Morehouse teams that attended the HBCU Rugby Classic's, and won the second one. Saafir spoke about how Morehouse College Rugby started, what it means to attend a historically black college and university, the challenges of developing rugby in a culture that isn't very aware of the sport, and more.
