This is playable on the PSP, PSVita, and PS3. But the game has been ported to a myriad of systems, so you can pick it up on Sega CD, Sega Saturn, PSX, PSP, and GBA, if you'd like. This week, we watched a movie about a city with a Thousand Planets, because we played a game with a Planet with Seven Planets. Next Time, we start Brave Story: New Traveler, and play The Prologue, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2! We only vaguely remembered that Luc Besson was a garbage pail during the podcast, and we looked it up after finishing recording, and he's a very gross garbage person, so if you want to watch this movie, pirate it. Brave Story is currently only available on UMD, as it was pulled from the PSN store recently, but it's not very expensive if you happen to have a PSP handy. -------------------------------------------------

Recently we opened up Commissions on our Ko-fi for people to get episodes covered for their favorite (or own!) game, and the first bite at the apple was by friend of the podcast, Francesco (The same one that came from New York to see us at Classic Game Fest!) So for this Episode, we played the Second half of Episode 1 of fan favorite Visual novel, Higurashi: When They Cry, by Ryukishi07, as well as the optional epilogue and TIPS. While this isn't the first game we've played that dealt with gruesome themes (Like Persona 3), I think I would be remiss to not mention that this game does deal with some dark and gory details, so proceed with caution. If you'd like to play Higurashi, it's currently available from MangaGamer, who has it on Steam, GOG, and their own website, and each chapter of the game usually runs around 5 bucks. If you do, I suggest playing it with the wonderful 07th Mod, which gives you more support for modern systems, and some quality of Life updates. This is only 1/8th of the whole story, but if you'd like for us to cover Episode 2 and beyond, you can commission them yourself at ko-fi.com/rpgbookclub -------------------------------------------------

Currently, Sailor Eli has some technical issues keeping him from recording, but our friends on twitter, RPGSite have been playing through Xenogears (with different stopping points than us) on their youtube, and the playlist is here. Next week, we play through the end of the chapter entitled "Babel Tower" saving at the first save point in the city at the end.
