After a massive siege against the combined crews from the PYKE SYNDICATE and the BLACK SUN, the crew take stock of the damage to their home, and question the sole remaining prisoner they managed to take.

Finally on the same page, the crew meet up to discuss the upcoming operation on the casino ship the Alderaan Sunrise. Flying in a derelict ship to a high-rolling operation is not exactly stealthy, so the crew have to come up with some ideas on how to blend in with the wealthy and powerful.

With Quinth’s daughter in the hands of the TWELFTH BROTHER, the crew race through hyperspace to her rescue. Plans are hatched, and theories are examined, but without knowing the details of where Yarra  is being held captive, all they can do is plan for the worst, and hope that the FORCE is with them…

Episode 208

After a vicious fight on the desert planet of FLORUM, the crew retreat to the ship and slip back into hyperspace. After the thwarted ambush at the farm, the crew's tensions are at an all time high. Their first actual delivery is not what any of them expected, especially Karrell. 

Tazi heads off into hyperspace in the stolen ship, heading for what he thinks is a rendezvous with the rest of the crew.Back on ZELTROSS, it's up to the droids and their Herglic ally to find Karrell, defeat her kidnappers, and get out before the EMPIRE can arrive and take their friend away.

In this premiere of our livestream, Smuggler's Blues, join Tazi, Karrell, A1 and D4 as they visit the planet TETH in search of a new home. Tazi has found a line on some work and a base, but their new landlords/partners seem to be surprisingly well informed....

Having helped themselves to Zhaan’s mom’s new ship, the crew are faced with a number of questions including what to do with their new prisoner, learning the secrets of their new home, and finding out exactly how many closets the ship has. Meanwhile, not everyone is handling the aftermath of their casino heist as well as the younger members of the crew….

Running from the EMPIRE and the strange, force-weilding foe that killed Quinth’s contact, the crew make their way out towards Hutt-space, hoping to find refuge and maybe another of Spynet’s contacts so they could offload their dangerous data. However, while most of the crew plays it cool, A-1 and Zhaan decide that they need to “help” another of the crew with their issues...

Returning to their new base of operations, with a somewhat fussy and flirty passenger, the crew meet up with their fixer who has yet another job for the dysfunctional team.

Episode 207

With the ship shot up, the crew have to rely on their wits (and D4's medical acumen) to try and make some cash. Tazi gets a line on a job, while Karrell fights a Wookiee.

With the revelation of the identity of The Fox, the crew is once again faced with decisions as to what path to take. The fog is starting to lift, but will a call to vengeance send the crew down a dark path? And what the kriff has D4 been carrying around for several days?!

Meeting up with Bree’s smuggler-contact on the ocean planet of Castillon, the crew manages to mostly stay out of trouble on this new planet. While part of the crew deals with the local cuisine, Quinth makes a deal that could cost them much more than what they are truly willing to pay…

Having escaped from the EMPIRE in one of their own shuttles, the crew hurtles through hyperspace on their way to pick up their ship from where Karrell stashed it. Inside the speedy shuttle, however, there is a lot of pain that has to be dealt with, before it gets out of control and threatens to take them all on a very dark path…

The crisis of the runaway reactor finally under control, the crew seeks out some answers from their reluctant landlords.

The crew land and get some much-needed elbow room as they debark their passengers and breathe the freshly recycled air of the orbital scrapyard. With some time to kill, the crew spread out, but an old enemy has returned to lay claim on them once more...

A neighborly helping hand getting the crops in turns deadly when the unfriendly visitors come to call.

Decked out in their new fancy go-to-the-casino outfits, the crew go in search of Quinth’s contact so they can finally offload the data payload and get their much-needed payday. However, the crew didn’t plan on a lightfingered droid and a smooth-tongued and light on their feet interruption that left most of the crew feeling… unsettled.

Having lost the faux-Tazi to the clutches of the EMPIRE, the crew flee back into hyperspace, where A-1 and Zhaan admit to their parts in the podracer’s impersonation. Collectively, they decide that more honest and open talk is needed from everyone on the ship, but not everyone seems to be pulling in the same direction….

While Tazi works on charming the figurative and literal pants off of their mark, in hopes of stealing the ship full of loot, Karrell finds herself out to dinner at a noodle place with a Weequay of questionable moral character...

Finding out that the ship they are on is wanted by the GALACTIC EMPIRE and has a bounty on it to boot, alarms part of the crew who rush back to their home to defend it. Meanwhile, as we split the party yet again, the rest of the crew deal with drunks, and maybe end up doing some breaking and entering…

Happy #StarWarsPodcastDay 2022 / #SWPD2022 on February 7! It's the 23rd anniversary of the very first Star Wars related podcast...Jedi Talk, which premiered on that day in 1999! 

Quinth leads the crew to the dense, dank jungles of FELUCIA to meet her spynet contact and offload the data that they had about missing JEDI. While their new ship can get them from point A to point B without falling apart, will the crew and ship manage to survive both the humidity, and an unplanned surprise waiting for them?

In the Season 7 finale, the crew head off across the outer rim towards their cargo run that they have accepted for their new contact. As they land in the dense jungles of TETH, they head to meet their contact - a scar-faced rodian, and his very curious and surprising cargo. Danger is close at hand in the jungle, but the greatest threat is far, far away….

With the crew against the wall dealing with the BLACK SUN, Tazi goes off to strike a deal, leaving the frustrated and worried Karrell on the ship instead of watching his back. When the choice comes down to servitude or war, which will the crew choose?

The crew manages a bit of downtime before another paying gig sends them back into hyperspace, and into trouble, as they are hired to escort another freighter towards the planet of RANDON, so that the freighter doesn't get shot down again...

JEDI MASTER RAZE has been captured, and Tazi and crew rush into the city to see what they can do to rescue the mysterious, previously missing Master.  The ruse of Zhaan pretending to be her mother continues to hold up, but how long can the group go unnoticed by the searching eyes of the EMPIRE when they are in the middle of a heavily occupied town?

The crew abandons the Dusty Dianoga as Quinth and Zhaan inform the rest of the crew that they will be stealing Zhaan’s mother’s ship as she is visiting the casino. The sudden change in plans means that the crew has to quickly collect their things and move, even with the added complexities of a wounded Tazi and a very confused Lothcat.

The crew had been told that they should seek out a woman known as “The Fox” so they could become whole again. Their quarry is finally in sight, but after the loss of Zhaan can anything help heal all the damage that the crew has taken?

Behind the screens - Chris sits down with Michael and Kaylee for a discussion of the show, their characters, and a bunch of candid talk.

With unknown forces moving against the crew, they decide to follow a cryptic message to the planet of TOOLA in search of a female known only as ‘The Fox’. It was said that this being would lift the fog and heal the rifts between our heroes, but if the GALACTIC EMPIRE has its way, the crew will find this icy planet their final destination….

With an awkward plan of "send the Jedi out to be a flirty distraction" firmly in hand, the crew find themselves on ZELTROSS looking for their mark. But when the target isn't quite what the crew thought, Tazi finds himself needing to step up in a surprising new manner.

After the murder of JEDI MASTER RAZE, the crew makes some new allies and retreat to a familiar bar to await contact. When the contact finally comes, the crew makes plans to sneak into the old Jedi temple. Meanwhile, a cryptic call from D4 will change the crew’s lives forever.

The crew find themselves delivering mysterious packages for their new landlord, but find that life on an agrarian planet is not just a peaceful day under the sun.

As the crew return yet again from another "blue-milk run", they find that they have unexpected guests, in more ways than one.

In the season 1 finale, Tazi finds himself at the business end of a set of big blue eyes, while Karrell and A-1 finish patching up the ship. Meanwhile, an unseen and unknown force has their eye on our heroes.

Episode 206

The crew arrives on the planet FLORUM with several disparate plans, and promises made to extract Quinth’s daughter at any cost. As our heroes cross the blasted desert landscape to the coordinates given by the TWELFTH BROTHER, each of them wonders if this indeed may be their final fight.

Having been shanghaied out of hyperspace for an unscheduled shopping trip, our heroes find themselves on the bazaar planet of Randon looking for parts to fix R3-A1, their astromech droid. Little did they know that while the prices below were reasonable, the skies above were filling with danger...

Fleeing the Yinchorri assault on the planet Randon, the crew of the Krallet's Fang are ferrying an injured guardsman to a nearby system to seek out help. However,  Karrell, Kaio and Tazi discover that sometimes those uneventful hours in hyperspace can be more perilous and straining than those spent under the most accurate of blaster-fire....

With many things left unsaid, and a lot of emotions left raw, the crew emerge from hyperspace and arrive on the planet Ruusan. Here they hope to drop off their injured guardsman passenger, and alert Senator Rafe to the ongoing Yinchorri attack on Randon. As the gears of politics grind into action to respond, Kaio, Karrell and Tazi end up with more time to work over some outstanding issues.

Having reported the Yinchorri attack to Senator Wraif on Ruusan, the crew of the Krallet’s Fang wait to see what response the government might have to this unprovoked and heinous attack. Meanwhile, they have a chance to repair their ship and possibly repair their relationships as well.

With ship and intra-party repairs well underway, the crew of the Krallet’s Fang find themselves at a crossroads - with time to decide what their next move will be. Will it be a simple cargo run, or instead might they find themselves looking for trouble in the seedy underbelly of Ruusan?

After an invigorating “meeting” with the denizens of the rougher parts of Ruusan’s nightlife, Tazi and the crew find themselves being escorted back to the main governmental offices of Separatist leader WRAIF GOLDAR by his “bodyguard” slash “wookie-poodoo-eye-afflicted companion”, TSAR HAZMERR.

After having their faces and names broadcast system-wide, the crew of the Krallet’s Fang figured their day couldn’t get any worse - but then a running firefight  through the tunnels against an invading horde of Yinchorri proved them wrong.

Now, all that stands between them and escape into hyperspace is five miles of runway……  and an invading fleet of terrifying terrapins!

With the Yinchorri driven back, the Krallet’s Fang lands once again on Ruusan for repairs. However, Senator Wraif still has eyes on our valiant crew, and asks them to stay for a celebratory meal. Can our heroes "stomach" even more time on planet?

After discovering that the Yinchorri attack was caused by their hunt for Karrell, the crew decide to hightail it off of Ruusan before anything else comes to find her. However, politics and ancient religions may have something to say before that happens...

Notes: This episode grew out of the game Chris ran at a convention back in Feb 2016 called Marmalade Dog - the players of that game (some of which are our guests in this episode) undertook a mission that they will talk about in this episode, and that tied into the Redemption storyline.

The crew have to attend a funeral on KASHYYK and then decide if the information they got from the crew of the HARLEQUIN can be trusted, or if it’s just another separatist trap.

On RODIA, the crew has gone from the urban jungle of it’s capital city to the literal jungle-jungle as they follow the trail of TAZI’s father. With only two days left before the assassination, they must deal with some old business as well as some heavy distrust from the locals...

After an enforced interview and detention with law enforcement, the crew continues their investigation to try and find TAZI’s father before he can kill a senator. Personal tensions and misleading information cause more problems, and another trip into RODIA’s seedy underbelly may make matters even worse than they thought ...

 

A trip through RODIA’s underworld has the crew splitting up to cover all their bases. Half of them continuing the search for where they might find TAZI’s father, and the other half risking their skins at an underground event in search of their missing bounty hunter ….

With only hours to go before the attempted assassination, the crew race to get into position to act before TAZI’s father can pull the trigger. However prepared they may be, they are not quite prepared for what happens...

With an assassination averted, and the Senator saved - it’s all in a day’s work for the crew of the KRALLET’S FANG. However, while there was no bloodshed or panic in the streets, behind closed doors the crew have to deal with the aftermath of their choices…
Please note: One major mistake in this episode. Tazi's father is Essek - and we kept calling him Essen. So sorry!

TAZI’s father has been saved, but at what cost to his mind and soul? The crew have built some bridges on RODIA, and burned others, so now it is up to them to decide what to do next. Some choices are better than others, but sometimes the choice is made for you...

Attempting to leave RODIA behind, the crew was intercepted by an H-K droid who demanded they turn over KAIO or he would kill them. Of course, they resisted, and managed to kick the hunter-droid loose - but not before TAZI’s father escaped the ship and found himself in unfriendly hands. Now the crew needs to play ‘follow the Duros’ on a trail back through RODIA’s not-so-friendly jungle...

The revelation that KAIO is being hunted by the BLACK SUN has surprised the crew and caused a lot of tension between them. However, with TAZI’s father captured by the bounty-hunter-droid HIKSA they need to focus on finding the elder Tazi and recovering him without giving up KAIO to the crime syndicate's non-existent tender mercy...

KAIO’s master plan to give himself to the droid assassin HIXSA in exchange for TAZI’s father has hit a major roadblock -- the rest of the crew! So now, in a showdown at the docks, will the droid get his man or will a daring plan by the divided crew spell the end for TAZI’s father?

Recovering TAZI’s father from the assassin droid without sacrificing KAIO was the easy part - but now that the crew have left LASBANE and are on route to the VANDOS system, there are still many questions to be answered. Can they fix TAZI’s father’s mind? Does KAIO love KARRELL, but is too afraid to say it? And will the crew *ever* learn to ask A-1 for details when he says he has a plan?

After a dangerous flight through the skies of VANDOSS, the crew escape into space with their load of refugees and the Devaronian doctor, DARLA. Where they go and what to do are the main questions on the crew’s minds, but what hasn’t DARLA told them yet that they need to know?

The crew of the Krallet's Fang find themselves orbiting Trandosha - being held on the orbital station due to the blockade of the planet below. Their cargo of freed slaves have been returned to their fellow Wookiees to great joy and celebration, but Tazi, Kaio and Karrell find themselves held in separate interview rooms, faced with a very curious Jedi....

Having accepted a mission from the Jedi Master Raze, the crew of the Krallet's Fang find themselves en route towards the planet Ruusan - only to be pulled out of hyperspace and off course for an unplanned pit stop by a new member of the crew....

A desperate battle now behind them, the crew of the Krallet’s Fang must deal with two dozen rescued refugees, a Twi’lek who wants to go home, and a dead body. A return to Coruscant is in their future, but what will the Jedi Council think of the return of their prodigal daughter, her new friends and their cargo?

Being interviewed by the Jedi has became a regular occurrence for the crew, and this time they find themselves waiting to hear what the Jedi Council says about the information - and the dead body - that KARRELL had brought to their door. While the crew waits, they find themselves at loose ends on CORUSCANT, where poor choices lead to unforeseen circumstances...

Returning to the planet of TOOLA was supposed to be a chilly, but easy ‘find something and get out’ run for the crew, but as they disembarked from the ship, KARRELL found herself facing a large posse of local law enforcement with a demand for her arrest. What crime was committed to warrant such a turnout of suspicious security forces, and more importantly - is KARRELL guilty of whatever crime that is?

KARRELL sits in jail accused of murder as two Jedi Masters debate her fate. Meanwhile  the rest of the crew work on creatively distracting everyone and everything to get her free. When the evidence is heard, what will the final verdict be, and why do the creepy ghosts keep telling KAIO that she is guilty?

A missing Sith Holocron, ghosts that pester KAIO’s paranoia, and a discordant kyber crystal all add up to the crew needing to revisit the now-unabandoned temple in the snowy outlands of TOOLA. They need to leave port as soon as possible to deal with all these things, but what else waits for them at this unsettled vergance in the Force?

With the Force ghosts and loopy family members behind them, the crew get set to travel  out to the rim to find some peace and work. A chance to get away from Republic, Separatist, Jedi and basically everything that has plagued them for the past few months. But going out to the lawless areas of space have their own challenges and dangers, and the past has ways of catching up with you even in the deepest darkness of space.

On board JUNK FORT STATION Karrell and Tazi have found a noodle dish they love, and people are showering the crew with money thanks to the discovery of A1’s shady past as an enforcer droid. Everything seems to be going well, but word of the return of the sector’s most infamous droid has also made it to unfriendly ears in the underworld...

Discovering the truth of R3-A1’s past has caused the crew to leave JUNK FORT STATION ahead of schedule, and without picking up a new job. Instead, they head deeper into Wild Space to look for KAIO’s buried treasure, in the hopes that it will solve their immediate cashflow issues.

KAIO has gone missing, A1’s being frustratingly coy about it, and the ship’s coffers are empty… leaving the crew nearly out of fuel at a remote outpost on a small moon. The natives seem to be both friendly and informative, so the understrength team sets out for the old mine where they hope to find some buried treasure, and maybe to reunite with an old friend.

Digging through the rocks wasn’t the “buried treasure” that the crew was counting on, however they did manage to land on a planet without making enemies. As they continue to search for KAIO’s secret, it seems some of the crew may be making secret plans of their own...

The never-ceasing sounds of the drill kept A1 and KARRELL company as TAZI ran back to town for supplies. While he was there, he also found out that the ore they had found was a very valuable mineral called ryll kor. Enlisting the aid of the engineer ISLA, the pair of Duros return to the claim to find out that plans had grown as much as the pile of ore that was being mined...

With the unearthing of an ancient training facility, KARREL, A-1, and TAZI find themselves the accidental owners of a large chunk of Clawdite history, with no idea what to do with it. Re-entombing it is one option, but with the crew’s luck in all things subterranean, no one expects it to be that easy...

The crew have a whole ryll mine and ancient warrior-monk complex to sell for money, and they’ve managed to pick one of the most dangerous women in the sector to sell it to! Now, closing the deal should be simple - just pack up the claim and head towards hopefully a sunny, warm planet, right?

Narrowly escaping from an attack on NAOS III, the crew manage to get their wounded friend ISLA to medical attention.  Her prognosis is bleak, however, because the hospital is completely out of of bacta! Is this strange shortage one of the opening gambits of the CLONE WARS, or is something more sinister afoot?

Finding out that the cause of the missing BACTA shipments is the separatist-allied TF GROUP has made the crew’s simple pick-up run much more challenging. However, thanks to TAZI’S MOM, they now know where their target will be, who is guarding it - and what they need to do to save ISLA’s life back on DURO….

Recovering the BACTA and returning it to the hospital earned the crew a lot of gratitude from the grateful medical staff on DURO. With ISLA now no longer at death’s door, the crew has to decide what to do with two spare ships, a lot of information on the separatists, and most importantly -- what to do with TAZI’s mom.

With TAZI’s mother and father back together on TOOLA, the crew gets word that ISLA is due to awaken shortly. As they rush back to DURO so that TAZI can be on hand when she recovers, they have time to catch up as a group, and A-1 receives a mysterious message.
