We had some technical difficulties on today's recording that caused a shorter episode with mediocre sound quality but John brought some fantastic information. If you stick it out it will definitely be worth the 18 minutes.

John Jackson has been referred to as the “King of Lease Options” by other educators, speakers  and investors across the country, and has transformed many of the techniques, methods, and structure utilized today with lease options.

John started his real estate company Leasing to Buy in 2003 and since then, has completed well over 800 lease option transactions himself, not including the countless hundreds and hundreds that his students have completed.

His company Leasing to Buy, has refined the way that lease option transactions are structured and executed, so that over 98% of his buyers obtain permanent financing within 12 months.  That is unheard of in the industry, where the industry average is less than 20% of buyers in a lease option ever obtain permanent financing at all!

As an educator, John is the ONLY educator in the US to teach Texas lease options, and the unique laws that Texas has.  Real estate attorneys have even referred to John for his education, experience and expertise in this very specific field.

Other nationally recognized educators have learned lease options directly from John, and many also direct their students to John to learn his unique method for executing lease options.

John teaches investors how to make money utilizing lease options using no credit, no money, no risk, and with almost no competition, all while working exclusively on pretty houses in pretty neighborhoods.

In 2018 John co-authored “Real Estate Rock Stars” which hit #1 on Amazon in 3 categories and in April of 2021 launched the first ever podcast devoted exclusively to the topic of lease options titled “The Lease Option Experience”.

After seven years of relentlessly pursuing a music career through sheer grit, will, and determination, Mark’s band got a recording contract with RCA Records in 2014, but the terms weren’t right. Mark was given a choice: accept weak offer terms or pivot and reinvent himself.
That’s when Mark McGuire plunged into real estate sales. After running hard on his own for three years, working 80-100-hour weeks, Mark realized he needed help. He transitioned his real estate practice to Keller Williams in 2017 to learn how to build a real estate business. He hired and fired agents, learned from his mistakes, and then re-hired all over again with a new perspective. Since 2013, Mark and his team have brokered more than 300 homes with a total sales volume exceeding $83M. They have also raised over 15 million in capital for Hearthfire.

Mark’s biggest passion is wealth building and investing. He is a limited partner in 12 syndications, ranging from multifamily to industrial, hospitality to self-storage. He has invested in multiple private companies in the biotech, finance, and AI spaces. The most successful time in Ruben’s career was during the 2009 financial crisis; during this time, he bought, fixed, and sold distressed properties, which showed his determination in both bullish and bearish markets. After using private money financing himself, he quickly saw the innovation desperately needed in the private lending space and decided to spearhead it by co-founding We Lend, LLC (a private lending platform). Noah Hoffman is a dynamic entrepreneur who ventured into the real estate industry at a young age. Initially working for a mentor in property management, Noah quickly identified the potential of short-term rentals through Airbnb. He began managing properties for his mentor and gradually expanded his portfolio, renting additional properties to put on Airbnb. Noah's experience as a carpet cleaner also proved beneficial as he pitched the idea of short-term rentals to property owners, successfully securing management contracts.

After five years of working in property management, Noah made his first property purchase - a duplex with an FHA loan, occupying one unit himself. Empowered by his remote management skills, acquired through overseeing properties out of town, Noah took a leap and started investing in Fresno, California, as the San Francisco Bay area lacked favorable cash flow opportunities. She eventually was flipping houses and buying rental properties enough that she was making more money in real estate than she was working full time in healthcare. At 35 years old, she retired from a 13 year-long, full time health care career to run her real estate business full time.

April is passionate about financially educating others and helping others rise to grow wealth. She firmly believes the more people that grow wealth, the more lives we can change and therefore leave a greater positive impact on the world. April organizes a real estate investment group in Berks County, PA that has 1,500 members and her YouTube Channel with over 16,000 subscribers that she utilizes to help spread her message about growing wealth with real estate so more people can have financial freedom.

Paul Wakim got started in the real estate industry in 2016 right out of college when he and his then girlfriend Shannon (now wife), started a real estate photography business with a drone that she had bought Paul as a graduation gift. Paul was absorbing tons of knowledge about real estate investing from podcasts, agents, and investors he was dealing with and eventually decided to get his real estate license in 2017. Through being an agent,  it dawned on him - there is no real estate without a seller and all the sellers he talked to as a photographer and agent were selling their homes for the same 5 or 6 reasons. It was around this time in 2018 that Paul taught himself how to code in Python to create an algorithm to predict who was going to sell their home next by identifying people who showed signs of those 5 or 6 common selling traits. Later, he met his great friend and TwnSqr co-founder, Mitch Tracy while rock climbing. In mid 2019 Mitch quit his job to come work on TwnSqr full-time to refine and drastically improve the algorithm.

Through trial and error, Paul and Mitch ended up with the version of TwnSqr that we have today - the premiere off market property dispositions tool that connects real estate investors with one another and, eventually, the largest institutional buyers in the world. Their goal is to support sellers, investors and buyers of all sizes through world class technology!
