Dungeons & Dragons & Drag Queens come together in original comedy adventures!

Queens of Adventure is an ongoing Dungeons & Dragons story starring Seattle drag artists Arson Nicki, Butylene O’Kipple, Fraya Love, Harlotte O’Scara, Irene Dubois, Londyn Bradshaw, and special guests from the local drag & burlesque communities.

Our story began in 2017 as a series of live shows hosted by dungeon master Matt Baume. What began as a band of queer friends on a quest to earn a few drink tickets, has become a legendary journey in the shade of great queens and old gods. It’s a journey that combines flash and fantasy, death drops and death saves, and of course, dungeons & drag queens.

Our shows are entirely community funded. When you become a Patron you directly compensate the drag artists for their work, as well as help cover the costs of writing, recording, editing, and hosting the shows. Your support makes it possible for us to devote the time and love needed to bring Queens of Adventure to life!

Now, Sissy that roll!

The Fall of the House of Wunderbred.

Our first live show! Recorded in August of 2017, the queens begin their adventuring career in a perilous mansion where danger lurks under every wig.

The Tavern of the Hung Man.

Having just barely escaped the collapse of the House of Wunderbred, our queens embark on a new quest recorded between live shows. Harlotte encounters a shady suitor from her part; Butylene meets a cat lady; Fraya explores the mysteries of the divine; and Arson gets wet.

The Mystery of LaBouche Gardens.

The four fabulous queens are caught in a haunting Halloween quest! Our October 2017 show offers fabulous frights, tricky traps, and at least one spoop.

The Nexus of Sidhe’Bae.

After their harrowing adventure at La Bouche Gardens, the queens head to market to sell their Trixie La Bouche merchandise, pick up a few items, and encounter some unexpected individuals.

The Tip of the Tops Competition.

Our heroes embark on a holiday adventure! This time, their new researcher Gnomi has signed them up for a battle of the bands in the hopes of winning a scepter that can unlock a vault full of queenly treasures. Expect a few chilling challenges, luscious lip-syncs, and a stuffed stocking or two.

The Frozen Feast.

A peaceful interlude follows the excitement of the Top of the Tops contest, with the queens relaxing as guests of the Ice Princess. But further adventure hides behind every corner and hot tub! Our heroes soon find themselves engaged in combat, as clues emerge to direct them to further treasures.

The Final Voyage of the Salty Starfish.

The game is afoot! The queens are making their way to Fire Island in search of treasure, but a terrible storm and a theft thicken the plot. It's a maritime mystery on a ship full of perilous puzzles, luscious lip-syncs, and more seamen than they've ever faced before. By the time they're done cruising, there won't be a dry seat in the house.

Before we began our Season 1 adventure, we sat down with the performers for a casual chit chat about the game, their characters, and what it’s like to be a drag queen on a fantasy quest.

Capsized Queens!

Four water-logged adventurers wash up on a strange island, lost and separated from each other. Their possessions have been carried away in a storm -- and even worse, they're out of drag. What is this unfamiliar place? Can they reunite the party? And what are they to make of the unexpected appearance of a mysterious figure from their past?

Welcome to the Golden Palace.

What dangers await our heroes in this strange new environment? And more importantly, when's Happy Hour? The queens have arrived at The Golden Palace, where new friends await -- along with terrible danger.

The Tide is High!

An army of undead emerges from the sea! Our Heroes have prepared trenches, traps, and flaming cocktails, but will it be enough to save their queenly cabana?

The New Guardians of the Golden Moralexy.

Our heroes are on assignment! There's a job to be done, influencers to schmooze, and looks to assemble. As the queens explore the casino, they meet old friends and new and learn more about their dire predicament. With a deadline looming, can they please all of the people all of the time? Or will they end up sleeping with the fishes?

How to Win Fans and Intimidate People.

Our heroes are running out of time to mount a showstopping extravaganza! But first they must convince the influencers around the Golden Palace to attend the show by completing their unusual requests.

Fringe is Our Color Story.

The time has come to prepare the greatest show Fire Island has ever seen! Every minor detail is a major decision. Can our heroes keep things in scale and hold to their vision? A vision that includes such aesthetic oddities as feet, field hockey, mint juleps, leather, goth rock, explosions, education, and the fickle whims of fate?

With the survival of the Golden Palace riding on the morale of its guests, the stakes couldn't be higher. Are Bootie & the Hofish up to the task?

Field Hockey: The Frock Opera!

It's showtime, synergy! Bootie & the Hofish's first show at The Golden Palace is about to begin. This show has everything: field hockey, edutainment, explosions, leather, feet, and a supernatural wheel of fortune. O, Fortuna!

Will our heroes inspire the guests of Golden Palace to beat off the waves of undead plaguing the casino? Or, will their show fall as flat as Harlotte's shoes? Find out in Field Hockey: The Frock Opera - It's Going to be Uncomfortable; (don't forget to bring an umbrella)!

No time to celebrate the gang's big opening! The Golden Palace is still beset by sinister sea spawn. Belfry has a plan. But do our heroes trust her? All roads lead to the distant village of Watersport. But which perilous path will they choose?

Under the Bush and Over the Hill!

The road to Watersport is long and perilous. Our heroes head for the hills where wild wyverns await, along with a yap from the past.

Topped by a Lighthouse!

Whether you're running up that hill, or falling down that hole, the town of Watersport will leave the light on for you. Get Helen Reddy for imp-possible adventure as you attend a tale of scenic blobs - by the sea! Oh, I know you'll love it!

This week Harlotte and Fraya stroll along the beach. Butylene brews some tea. And Arson discovers that the library is open. Nothing bad or troubling happens at all. We don't learn about any impending doom. Nobody burns down any buildings. Everything is fine.

This week Harlotte and Fraya cross the road.

After the thrilling cliffhanger at the end of our last episode, Bootie & the Hofish desperately race to reunite inside the enemy stronghold.

Standing between the party and their happy reunion are infernal imps, wily wyverns, and sinister slimes.

Will Harlotte and Fraya survive the terrible town square? Will Butylene’s tea be exceptionally good today? And what of Arson’s giant spider? What indeed. The answers to all these questions and more can be found in an adventure that advances the overall story by approximately sixty seconds!

Our heroes are are on the edge of edging their way to glory. The Hole of Glory, that is! This mysterious Glamazon artifact awaits at the end of a dark dank tunnel. Will our heroes survive a sticky situation unscathed? Will Fraya Love shape water? Will Arson Nicki smell a rat? Will Butylene O’Kipple spice up your life?

The answers to these questions and more are probably yes. But try to act surprised when it happens!

The Devils and the Details.

Bootie & the Hofish once again find themselves before the Glamazon enquirer, making a case for the future of the island.

Last time the group was sentenced to death by sea spawn. So, that wasn't great.

But this time around they have the support of: Belfry Ramshackle, proprietor of the Golden Palace resort, Sir Throbardon, the leather eagle, Patrick, the scholar from the Edmonton Queen, and Ellen Caelus, Glamazon cleric of the life domain.

Can they convince the Glamazons to form an alliance against the implacable doom of the Kraken, or will a slip of the tongue see them licked once and for all?

Carol has crashed the summit at the summit of Radiant Rise just as the Glamazons and their Honored Outside Guests (H.O.G.s) were about to put aside their differences and come together to fry a bigger fish.

A horned devil astride a nightmare flanked by hellhounds, imps, and magmins, that’s who!

What happened to the deal with Barb? Will the Glamazons hold Bootie & the Hofish accountable for this infernal infraction? And will Fraya Love shape water?

Bootie & the Hofish set out for the Glamazon city, Glamalala, to learn from their masters and strengthen the alliance against the annihilating force of the Kraken.

The last time they were in the city, our heroes were prisoners sentenced to death for trespassing upon a sacred tomb.

Obviously the death sentence didn't quite take, so they're getting another shot at this. But one false move could spell doom for all the Honored Outside Guests of the Glamazons.

Highway to the Danger Room.

In twelve days an old god will destroy Fire Island, and everyone on it, unless someone delivers the lost treasure of the great queens, long sealed away in a tomb beneath an obsidian ziggurat.

Arson Nicki, a half-elf / half-spider Warlock, Butylene O'Kipple, an infernal alchemist, and Fraya Love a water elemental worshiper of Cher, have traveled across Fire Island to the forbidden city of Glamalala seeking training and allies.

Their last encounter in the Glamazon City saw them imprisoned for trespassing, found guilty, and sentenced to death. But, after they defeated the Kraken priest and proposed a plan of mutual defense, the Glamazons were willing to give them a second chance.

So that's the context. But really, this whole episode is about introducing new player Irene Dubois.

The Pup that Didn’t Bark.

Join Arson, Butylene, Fraya, and Irene for a most curious case of a canine in the night. Back in the Glamadrome, our heroes puzzle their way through a historical predicament. A miserable malefactor has pup-napped a prized pooch. A Pomeranian? Perhaps! Can the gang crack the case by using every skill on their (diegetic) character sheet? Or, will they resort to magic or violence and blow the whole shebang!? Only my hairdresser knows for sure, and they aren’t talking. So you’ll have to listen up, chuckles!

Glamazon Pride.

Tonight the Glamazons celebrate their city’s endurance with a festival honoring the lost queens of the great houses. Our heroes join in the fun. But, will the illicit activities of the previous night catch up with them? Will Fraya find some clothes? Does she want to? These questions and more are yours for the asking!

A Taste of the Taint.

With only ten days remaining until the destruction of Fire Island, our heroes are on the verge of completing their Glamazon training. All that remains is one final challenge that sees the group cast as battle maidens standing against shady forces in a historical reenactment. Will Bootie & the Hofish come out on top, or will they succumb to the power of the terrible taint?

Arson, Butylene, Fraya, Irene, & Lamont have broken the ancient seal that has long protected the island from the cursed creatures of the Underdark.

As our heroes penetrate deeper into the depths below, they soon discover that they are not alone. A mysterious voice continues pick Arson's brain from within, and a hungry Xorn is eager to make a deal.

They've been warned of spiders ahead. And boy howdy, are there spiders ahead.

The Sealed City.

A Moment on the Lips.

Arson Nicki, Butylene O'Kipple, Fraya Love, & Londyn Bradshaw begin their descent into the belly of Alighieri, a colossal dragon turtle. Inside, they hope to find Mystie, the mystical leader of a marooned pod of merfolk. But it isn't long before things take a sickening turn and our heroes find themselves in the slithering embrace of their own desires.

Our heroes press on through the body of Alighieri, the gargantuan dragon turtle, in search of missing merfolk. But the further they go, they more they find themselves confronted with most unwholesome urges.

Arson, Butylene, Fraya, & Londyn continue their journey through the curiously spacious interior of Alighieri, the gargantuan storyteller. Our heroes seek Mystie, the lost leader of the merfolk, in hopes of forming an alliance that will save Fire Island from the wrath of the almighty kraken. But who will save our heroes from the enticing enchantments and cruel conjurations they encounter inside Alighieri's immense innards?

Arson, Butylene, Fraya, and Londyn have rescued the casino owner’s daughter from forty dancing ghosts.

But, the altar that binds the ghosts remains a palpable and palpitating threat! This terrible table houses the heart of the Kraken priest! The still beating organ channels power from its master, an old gold who intends to destroy the island unless someone obtains the treasure hidden away in the Glamazon ziggurat.

Barb, a devil, has proposed that he may be able to make use of the altar, as he is immune to the Kraken’s abyssal influence.

And what of CherNoble, the magical construct who was deactivated by voice command during an attempt to rescue her son? CherNoble’s mechanical body is now inhabited by Londyn Bradshaw, who has shape-shifted into a parasite and taken over her core.

And has anyone seen Wilford, the Tabaxi gambler with a fluffy mustache? WHERE IS WILFORD?

Perhaps we will find out in the next episode, which will be a return to our usual length.
