25 Sep 2019 | A Space Poddity 9.5: ...And the Spiders From Mars | 01:12:12
"Now I've been told, that you've been bold, with Eric , Marc and Steve!" Dear listeners, we left you on a cliffhanger last week. Steven barely broke Marc out of the mental hospital, Marc barely got his mind back, the team discussed the year of 1972 and did a track by track analysis of Bowie's "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust". Well they are back to continue the conversation with: - All of the Bowie era bonus tracks and B-Sides - The film: "Velvet Goldmine" - A sampling of notable covers of the Ziggy songs - Mott the Hoople - and the nice little bow that we tie this gift up with: a track by track dive into Lou Reed's "Transformer" and discuss the important relationship between the two artists. -And then we roll the dice to see what crazy album we fall in to next! 18 Sep 2019 | A Space Poddity 9: The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust...(Part 1) | 02:33:29
This week on Pod Like a Hole: A Space Poddity, the band is back together and diving deep into the all-time classic The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars. In addition to giving the album the full track by track treatment, we discuss current events of 2019 and past events of 1972. Eric gets to dig his mandibles into an album with an actual storyline, Steve thinks he might know what he's talking about despite popular opinion saying otherwise, and Marc is just happy to be eating solid foods again. This one covers quite a bit of ground, so strap in for a ride to Saul Starman's office. But wait, there's more. Come back next week for the thrilling conclusion where we finish our discussion of Bowie's Ziggy era, fight some Decepticons with Lou Reed's Transformer, and we Mott the Hoople, if you get my drift. Your hosts come face to face with The Man Who Sold the World in another exciting chapter of A Space Poddity. We dissect David Bowie's third studio album released in 1970 by a track by track discussion and explore Bowie's hard rock wizard sound that lays the foundation he'll later build the house that Ziggy Stardust lives in. Of course, we discuss the resurgance of the title song made famous by Nirvana's unplugged cover. So check in with all the madmen as we measure the width of a circle and compute the facts of the supermen into the saviour machine. After all, no need to get the running gun blues through the black country rocky terrain otherwise you could get shaken cold by the man who sold the world. Last week, your Bowie Boys were joined by electronic music expert and Video Game Wizard Joe Vierra to discuss the seminal 1977 David Bowie masterpiece Low. The conversation was so robust that we had to split it into 2 episodes. So enjoy this, Low (Side 2) where we hear what Bowie, Eno and Tony Visconti were up to behind the scenes, Marc disappears on an underground mission, the team discusses the strange ambient side 2, the lasting impact of this album, as well as outtakes and remixes from this era. 19 Jun 2018 | The Fragile: Right | 01:49:33
The boys finish talking about Nine Inch Nails third album, The Fragile, by dissecting the Right Side of the record. We go track by track looking for the highs and lows of the record. Steve makes a bold proclamation that will get carried over into future episodes. Eric tries his best to say each track needs more brass and woodwinds. Marc fills out a paragraph on his last will and testament. It's a family affair, so join us as we delve into the void and scrape underneath it all in what only can be characterized as a big come down. We look forward to joining you, finally. Video Links:

04 Sep 2019 | A Space Poddity 8 : Tin Machine | 02:41:04
You know. When we started this podcast, your cohosts Marc, Eric and Steve, set out with a simple purpose. To connect to people through their love of music via a jovial conversation, laying out the spoils of our various takes on the deep dive in discographies. They've been holding hands and traversing through the history of music in this season 2: David Bowie. All was going well. Best.Laid.Plans.
Cut to Shady Pines Mental Institue: A nurse walks into a room. It is shadowed by the afternoon sun hitting the blinds just so. Three patients in the room don't notice. Their poor minds are gone. A serious trauma twisted their neurons into their emotions and blocked any further chance at experiencing the world in the same way. Marc is curled on the floor, hitting his head onto a wood block, repeatedly. Eric crying as he drops his spoonful of jello again, not getting a single bite into his mouth. Steven, humming madness as he tries to connect a lego to a duplo. The doctor approaches the nurse, sighs and shrugs, "What's all this then?" To which the nurse replied, "Tin Machine, doc. Those sweet boys never recovered from Tin Machine. It broke their minds." Enjoy the maddening adventure in to the colossal assault on our dignity. Tin Machine.

In this episode of Space Poddity - Pod Like a Hole Phase 2, the audio chrononauts travel to 1993 and dissect an artifact very much of it's time: Black Tie White Noise. Marvel at the plastic production. Be amazed at the on the nose commentary. Envy the giant shoulder pads. 06 Jul 2018 | Things Could Have Been Still Deviated | 01:44:42
In this episode, we finally close out The Fragile era with a discussion on Things Falling Apart, And All That Could Have Been, Still, and The Fragile: Deviations 1. We even have time to talk about the song "Deep," from the Tomb Raider soundtrack as well. The temptation to go track by track through the Tomb Raider soundtrack is compelling, but no one wants to hear Marc talk about U2. Eric, as always, has a lot to say about a remix album. Steve argues true fans of music prefer live albums because who doesn't enjoy bad acoustics and crowd noise, amirite? Once more unto the breach, dear listeners, as we complete the masterclass in all things The Fragile. Video Links:

In a David Bowie season, what are the boys doing talking about the grunge pioneers from the 90's, you may be asking yourself. Well, the obvious answer to that is Nirvana's iconic cover of "The Man Who Sold the World" featured on MTV Unplugged was one of our early introductions to David Bowie in our formative teen years. 28 Apr 2018 | BONUS EPISODE: The Big Three | 01:45:10
In what you might think is becoming a practical joke - we have a BONUS episode for you before the Fragile trilogy of episodes finally drops. Full disclosure - we recorded the first Fragile ep and much like Trent's first attempts in Big Sur to record the album, antics from outside our control conspired to delay it. Very meta. Because we will only release the BEST of quality for our dear listeners. We plan to finish the recordings Sunday the 29th - promise.
In the meantime we have this gem from the archives. Recorded via webX by Mix Master Eric, so not as clean as our typical in person sessions but still a fun talk. We took about 90 minutes to wax(trax) lovingly about what we consider the Big Three of Industrial Music - Skinny Puppy, KMFDM, and Ministry. Three bands we may have discovered if not for Trent, but for kids our age he certainly hastened up the process. Considering that the NIN break away from the industrial sound was the Fragile, we thought this might be a good place to drop this discussion into our discography. We go into the history of the bands, our history with the bands, best albums, and do not hesitate to call them out for when two of them went way off the deep end. But it's all from a place of love. A little Front Line Assembly chatter as well. And boy howdy, A Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste is still a classic. My goodness. Thank you for your patience and you'll hear us talking about actual Nine Inch Nails again very soon. 24 Apr 2020 | A Space Poddity 19 : Aladdin Sane | 02:13:28
In this episode, we discuss the 1973 album, Aladdin Sane. Is there more to this album than just it's iconic album cover? Does Marc prefer listening to Disney's Aladdin soundtrack over this? Will Eric find a way to make a theory about aliens and the intersecting boundaries of capitalism? Does Steve nail a Mick Ronson guitar solo by vocal impressions alone? Did Mike Garson finally get the cat off his piano? All these burning questions will be answered and more. 28 Aug 2018 | Bonus Episode: The World of Year Zero | 00:19:50
Breaching your atmosphere in a very short time will be Pod Like A Hole's "Year Zero" recap. However, what was too rich, too thick to even fit in that episode was a deep dive into the immense world that Trent Reznor, Rob Sheridan and the artists at 42 Entertainment built around these songs. It's in this world building that the characters and perspective for all the songs on Year Zero came from. Starting in 2007 (i.e. The year Negative-15) all the way to 2022 (i.e. Year Zero, 0000) there is an exciting cast of characters, mind controlling drugs, soul-crushing politicians and hopeful, though often violent, resistance fighters. Though we'll mention direct references in the main episode, this bonus-sode will truly give you a thorough background. If hearing co-host Eric Anderson dust off a poster board and attach some yarn to connect all the characters, timelines and theories sounds like a fun way to get excited for our Year Zero episode, then start here! 10 Dec 2018 | BONUS EPISODE: The Great Chinese Democracy Takeover | 02:21:43
Steven goes pirate radio and, as he has threatened for months, has blessed the listeners with a track by track review of Guns and Roses schizo-frenetic epic: Chinese Democracy. Ian from the East Bay guest stars as Eric and Marc wouldn't have been able to speak intelligently about this topic for 2.5 hours, not to mention the fact that they didn’t even know it was being recorded. Ian and Steve discuss their history with GnR, the influences between Guns and Roses and NIN, the recording and roster of hired guns performing on the album, and finally a track by track review of the record itself. Along the way you'll hear talk about #EndofDays #Terminator2 #Mastodon, #Botch, #AphexTwin, #Kanye, #DrDre, #GirlTalk, #Aerosmith, #BrianWilson, #Buckethead, and much more.
This all started because Axl Rose owned a tshirt from the NIN Sin Single.

08 Jan 2020 | A Space Poddity 13: Pinups | 02:11:19
In this episode of our ongoing adventure in dissecting randomized Bowie albums, the Diamond Dice (TM) has chosen Pinups for us. Your Bowie Boys, (Steve, Marc and Eric) are tasked with analyzing this strange, transitional album from 1973. David Bowie wanted to pay tribute to the mod, British invasion bands of his early years (as well as wanting to satisfy his record contract), and we at Pod Like a Hole in turn pay tribute to that tribute. Enjoy. Let us know your favorite tracks off this oft-forgotten album. 06 May 2019 | A Space Poddity 2 : Space Oddity | 02:28:02
Pod Like A Hole presents: A Space Oddity 02: "Space Oddity" Marc, Eric and Steve, your hosts, rolled the Diamond Dice. Fate chose the next album and that choice sent us into a tin can, where we have been ever since...sending a track-by-track analysis of the David Bowie album "Space Oddity" back to ground control. Does anyone hear our transmission? Enjoy this episode as we dissect this strange, folk-a-delic album. We look into the world of 1969, and have special legacy guest Jeff Anderson explain the politics and music scene of the summer of love from first hand experience in a series of sound bites. Does Major Tom ever get back to Earth? Does the Growth Lab ever stop sucking life from their Messiah? Does Hermione enjoy her letter? We get into all of it and hope you enjoy it. 28 Jan 2019 | How to Destroy Angels | 03:00:44
It's a family affair here at Pod Like A Hole headquarters. Your favorite Reznor/NIN podcast has reached the point where it is 2010: NIN is on hiatus and Trent, Atticus, Rob join Trent's new wife (and former indie rock frontwoman) Mariqueen Maandig to create a project together. Marc, Steve and Eric dig into this dreamy glitch-tronica act (Eric is trying to make that genre stick). The music may get sleepy but the conversation never does! Follow them through a track-by-track analysis of both EPs (self-titled, "An Omen"), the full length "Welcome Oblivion" as they look at how these songs stand on their own, and how they stack up against NIN-proper work. We discuss the instrumentation, lyrics, music videos, MANY remixes and give you a loving yet critical look at this interesting era for Trent'n'friendz. In addition we dig into some of the soundtrack ("Call of Duty: Black Ops II") and Queens of the Stoned Age collaborations that Mr. Reznor was involved in during this era. It is a lively conversation, and Steve basically finds a reason to write Eric out of his will in the last twenty minutes... Enjoy. It's an island type of party as we dissect, analyze and generally sift through the history and each track of David Bowie's 1984 album Tonight. With the help of Tina Turner, UB40 and the calypso rhythm of a rogue marimba player, we give our final word on this album. If you follow us on the socials let us know what you think. 09 Dec 2017 | The Downward Spiral Part 1 | 01:38:36
In this episode, your intrepid hosts delve into the abyss that is The Downward Spiral. Well, the first half anyway. We go over pop culture events that were lighting up the charts in 1994, the origins of The Downward Spiral recording, and the videos that blurred out nudity and had missing scenes peppered throughout. Speaking of missing scenes, the last twenty minutes were lost to the editing gods, so this episode ends on a cliffhanger. Will Eric get the time to act out his three act narrative based on The Downward Spiral? Will Steven finally nail his impression of a screeching guitar solo by just using vocal sounds? Will Marc even show up on the next episode after being fired for losing the last half of the episode? Tune in!

21 Jan 2019 | The Social Network | 02:26:28
In this episode, the boys talk about Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' score for the 2010 film, The Social Network. Since Trent and Atticus both won an Academy Award for their work, we decided to give the score the full track by track treatment. As we all learned during the Ghosts I-IV episode, it becomes difficult to talk about purely instrumental music. Steve, however, stays conscious throughout this conversation. We bring in our dear friend Ed from the Pacific Northwest to give us his perspective on navigating the real world in the tech industry, his Sorkin qualifications, and his relationship with Trent Reznor's work. In our next episode, we are still traveling on our detoured route with our discussion of How to Destroy Angels. Links

It is spring 2020 and our world is rightfully experiencing some growing pains. There is fear and unrest and your Bowie Boys are right there with you. Not to distract or deviate from the matter at hand, but to merely offer a brief escape, let’s all take a little trip to 1975. Metal Gear? As he is wont to do once per season, Steve has hi-jacked the show again. Last season it was Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy, this season it's Metal Gear. But at least he has a point this time: the Metal Gear game series has many ties to the David Bowie universe. From in game plot points, to Hideo Kojimi's very Bowie-esque approach to his art. Hello True Believers. At this point we've taken just as long to release our episodes about the Fragile as it took Trent to do the same, so allow us to supplement you with a bonus episode with friend of the show Mike Spreigl. Steve called up Mike and they discuss Mike's history with the band, their love for the Fragile and it's various directions, the importance of a good wedding playlist, the beauty of Faith No More, How GREAT ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD IS, the physical ticket experience, the whimsical nature of TR, and much more. Mike has his own podcast (where this ep can also be downloaded) called Burning Bridges https://burningbridgeswithmikespreigl.simplecast.fm/ where a just turned 40 year old "muses about what has changed in his life as he has become older as well as revisits the things he loved as he grew up and discusses if those things still hold up today." So if you can't tell, he's our target audience. We hope you enjoy this bonus content.

This B-Side brings you another episode where a David Bowie produced Iggy Pop record is discussed. In 1973, just a few months ahead of the release of Bowie's Aladdin Sane, came the album by Iggy and The Stooges, Raw Power. This album has been cited as being one of the most influential punk records of all-time, so let's see if the hosts agree. 19 Feb 2018 | The 5 Year Gap: The Crow & Natural Born Killers | 01:43:18
In this episode, Marc, Steven, and Eric are joined by Joe Vierra to discuss the years between The Downward Spiral and The Fragile. In this time, Trent Reznor delved into the world of soundtracks. First, he submitted a track to the film The Crow and normally we would mention it and move on. However, Steven has such an emotional connection to the film, he wanted to go track by track and discuss the film. We will not be doing that for the Tomb Raider soundtrack. Also, we dip our feet into the band Prick because Eric loves to tell the story how he saw them open for Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie. Finally, we get into the nonsense of the film and soundtrack of Natural Born Killers. This at least makes sense, because Trent arranged the entire soundtrack for the film so we'd better talk about it. For this very special B-Side , your boys are taking a trip back to where it all started: we review a new Trent Reznor album! Trent and Atticus Ross‘ “Watchmen” score, to be specific. We dive into the history of the Comic, the Zack Snyder film and the current HBO/Damon Lindelof series. We end with a quick overview of the fantastic album of score work. Enjoy! 22 Oct 2018 | Ghosts I - IV | 02:21:53
In this episode, Eric, Marc and Steve go into the haunted house and come across Nine Inch Nails’ Ghosts I-IV. Steve goes to the third floor and gets slimed by this album, so we don’t hear much from him this episode. Marc and Eric forge on and are careful not to cross the streams in order to break down some standout tracks from this 36 track phantasm. We also get a call-in from our dear friend, Greg Wolgast who shares his views on all things Nine Inch Nails and his perspective of the all-instrumental album, Ghosts I-IV. Video Links:

15 Jul 2020 | B-Side; 1999: The Future is "Outside" | 01:34:43
In 1995, David Bowie & Co. released the album ‘Outside’. We will be discussing that in our next official episode. However, in the liner notes, song lyrics, and skits, David Bowie was clearly telling a complicated story. A murder mystery taking place in the oppressive future of 1999. He dubbed this story “The Nathan Adler Diaries: The Art-Murder of Baby Grace Blue - A non-linear Gothic hyper-cycle.” This would be too much to cover in our official episode, so just as he did in Season 1’s “Year Zero”, co-host Eric takes the wheel and delivers a summary of the (intentionally) complicated back story. This will fill in the gaps and get you the listener more prepared for our "Outside" analysis
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE:
Eric follows this up with an interview with long time friends of the show, The Wolgasts: Greg, Dan, Jamie, and even, briefly, Phiaus (aka Pulsar Glitch). Eric and the Wolgasts celebrate 90’s Bowie and discuss why this phase was unique for him. We discuss the legendary Outside Tour (with Nine Inch Nails) and, generally, how a group of kids discovered music in the 90s, in Arizona.
Enjoy the conversation.

25 May 2019 | A Space Poddity 3 : Never Let Me Down | 02:42:26
If you've ever wondered how it would be possible to have three guys talk for nearly 3 hours about David Bowie's self-admittedly worst album, then wonder no more. Our trusty Diamond Dice sends us to David Bowie's 17th studio album, Never Let Me Down, where we traverse through what's considered David Bowie's career nadir. Eric, Marc, and Steve go track by track and compare it to the re-worked 2018 versions available on Loving the Alien (1983-1988) to see if this album got a bad rap, and we're not just talking about Mickey Rourke's appearance on the record. In the second installment of our Reznor-Ross Score Work catch all, we take a look at... everything else. Opinions and discussions of Before the Flood, Juno (the Mars Mission, not the Pregnant teen), Mid90s, The Vietnam War, John Carpenter's Halloween theme, and a whole mess more. It's a wide ranging discussion that takes you through Eric's opinions on what Nightmare On Elm street movies are worth a damn, Marc sharing a shocking pop culture secret, and Steve being more than happy to talk about Matt Pike's (High On Fire) lizard people beliefs. Join us next week as we get back to honest to goodness NIN discussions, with Not The Actual Events.

22 May 2018 | The Fragile : Left | 02:27:13
The boys are back to talk exclusively about Nine Inch Nails and the first side of the magnum opus, The Fragile. Much like the album, this episode was recorded in various locations and times to capture the same process that Trent Reznor went through when recording this fine album. At least, that's what we told ourselves after the fact. Eric loves the big old brass, Steve goes off the reservation, and Marc tries to shoehorn a Carly Rae Jepsen joke in this episode that will go down as the definitive and all encompassing take on a true masterwork. 25 Jul 2020 | A Space Poddity 25 : 1. Outside | 02:50:36
How will you be celebrating the millennium? December 31st, 1999. Will you be screaming in fear, dancing your anxiety away, or preparing a blood tribute for a dark and ancient God? In 1995 David Bowie foretold this future, with the help of Brian Eno, Mike Garson and others. Have no fear, your Bowie Boys (Steve, Marc, Eric) listened to this strange, shimmering spectacle of Tomorrow, dissected it song by song, and are presenting it to the ritual stone. Who killed Baby Grace Bellew? Maybe you'll get your answers here. Maybe you'll only get so many more, horrible questions. One thing is for certain, we collectively butcher the correct pronunciation of a certain guitar player who most likely was a big fan of too many zippers on a pair of pants. 01 Aug 2020 | A Space Poddity 26: hours.... | 02:23:39
Are your eyes feeling heavy? Are your pjs nice and warm? Do you have a half-sipped mug of Sleepytime Tea? Are you sliding in and out of consciousness? You might be listening to David Bowie’s 1999 sleeper “hours…” …or you might have just had a NOMAD soul jump to and from your body. Mr. Bowie and loyal axeman Reeves Gabrels followed up their genre stretching , and rather well regarded, mid-90s work with music and performances in the adventure game: OMIKRON: The Nomad Soul, as well as on an album honoring the sleepiness of getting old. BUT NEVER FEAR: Steven, Marc and Eric are three nomad souls jumping into the sleepy bodies of “hours” listeners and giving them a shot of adrenaline as we hilariously dissect this album, analyze each track and consider how it fits into his 90s work as well as sets up his next millennium of output. 22 Sep 2023 | The Clash: London Calling | 03:08:21
Your three hosts have reached the home stretch. The last handful of our favorite albums to review for our "Run the Gamut" season. Steve, Marc and Eric have all had excellent picks, weird ones, and every now and then, one of us shows up with a card up our sleeve. In this case, Eric is the Card Cheat, so to speak. In this jam packed, bonus sized episode, we change our name to " Pod Em' Enough Rope " and give you the full run down of the Clash discography and its place in punk history, touch on the solo and side work of Joe Strummer and Mick Jones, and then give you the coveted track-by-track analysis of "London Calling". Does this record deserve it's spot on all the Top 100 lists? Is it truly a "must have" for music fans? Or is it a Cadillac oil stain on a supermarket parking lot? We will decide...but you can decide too (though we know our rights as hosts to be correct). Do you agree? Disagree? Who's your favorite Clash member? Do you Stan-dinista? Reach out and let us know.

02 Sep 2023 | Florence And The Machine - Ceremonials | 02:43:35
the Pod Like a Hole Hosts celebrate Florence and the Machines’ 2011 release: Ceremonials. If you are one of our listeners who says “Pod Like a Hole, we appreciate the wide variety of artists you’ve discussed, but often I find it’s either too much obscurity, too many riffs, or too much testosterone. Can you please give me a mainstream act that isn’t a balding man?” Well, here you go. Steve pushed on the team a track-by-track discussion of Florence Welch and her Machine’s album that can also be used as a audition tape for Barstool sports. We are reaching across the aisle here.
Eric cries twice to one of these songs.

17 Jan 2023 | Radiohead - Kid A | 02:39:10
In this episode, Marc selects Radiohead’s album from 2000, Kid A to discuss with Eric and to mildly annoy Steve. We take a brief look at the band pre- and post-Kid A to determine when they decided to have Q*Bert, the lovable orange video game thing, join the band. Then, as always, we go track by track to determine just how icy and cold the band sounds on the record as it shows on the album cover. Radiohead Official Videos (HD)

16 Dec 2024 | Final Episode_Pretty Hate Machine (WITH DECAY)_Reflections | 03:11:23
The End. A review and a look back. It’s been over seven years since Marc and Steve brought on an intern (Eric) to create a music review podcast. Since then they covered every single NIN and Bowie song, and 42 separate albums by other artists ( plus related discographies). The Trio has reached the end of the road, and they find themselves back at the starting line. Pod Like Hole’s pilot experiment, the first episode, was Nine Inch Nails' “Pretty Hate Machine”, but the Hole Boys didn’t really know what they were doing yet. Blushing amateurs, they bungled a classic record. In the spirit of setting things right in this jacked up universe, they will finish what they started. But this time....they’ll get it right. (what year is this?) Enjoy a track by track review of “Pretty Hate Machine” , and betwixt the analysis the guys will reflect on this project, their friendship, and the incredible listeners we’ve gotten to know over the better part of a decade. It's a loose, long goodbye. As the bionic guitars of Ringfinger echo into the stratosphere, so do your hosts. While our friendship is eternal, this project has been canceled. This is our goodbye. But …..to quote Joe Strummer, (co-creator of our only perfectly scored record), “ The Future is Unwritten”…. Links: Artwork by the great Greg Wolgast. 06 Sep 2020 | Season Two Finale - Part 1 of 2: Top Ten David Bowie Albums | 01:47:08
In the first of two wrap up episodes, the Pod Like a Hosts countdown and compare their ranking of all the David Bowie albums with a focus on the top ten. Followed by a brief essay question segment that Steve forced Eric and Marc to participate in. We considered dropping this as one giant 4 hour episode but why not milk the podcast feed a bit more and take another few weeks off. Saying goodbye is hard to do after all, as Marc will discuss with the audience when he has a moment during Blackstar. If you're scrubbing to the end to see what season 3 is going to be all about, you're out of luck. We aren't going to share that info until next week in part two of the Finale - The Top Ten David Bowie Songs. Thank you for listening.
31 May 2023 | Tom Waits: Waitstory | 02:41:34
You find your self in an old boxcar bouncing over the railroad track with an old hobo howling in your ear. Tales of love and loss, old dogs and prostitutes. It's a cornucopia of creamed corn , but somewhere in that whiskey soaked word salad is the story of a man. A man who harnessed the sound of a junkyard, cobbled it into a beautiful sound and aimed it our hearts. This is the story of Tom Waits, as only your boys at Pod Like a Hole can tell it. In anticipation of our track-by-track review of his classic album "Rain Dogs", Eric, Steve and Marc hop in that boxcar and take that California trip. The hosts finish their Primus pick by discussing the 1995 album Tales from the Punchbowl. We go track by track in this mixed bag and decide whether it was properly spiked with county prune or if someone left something floating in it, and we’re not talking fancy little ice cubes.
