In the win, Embiid put together a 32 point, 13 rebound, seven assists performance as the Sixers are now tied with the Magic for the 6th seed in the East standings — both sporting 46-35 record with just one game remaining for both teams. Tyrese Maxey was stellar in his co-starring role, finishing with 28, including five made 3’s. Kelly Oubre continued his solid play adding 21 and nine boards. Philadelphia’s regular season finale will be played Sunday at home against the visiting Brooklyn Nets.

Even without the services of Joel Embiid, who missed Sunday’s regular season finale as a precautionary measure to manage his left knee, the Philadelphia 76ers were still able to easily dispatch of the Brooklyn Nets. Led by Tyrese Maxey’s 26 point performance, the Sixers pulled away in the third quarter and never looked back, holding a 15+ point lead for most of the final quarter.

Despite the Sixers taking care of business, they did not get the help they needed to avoid the play-in tournament, as both Indiana and Orlando won their games against the Hawks and Bucks, respectively. Because of that the Sixers will take on the Miami Heat in the 7-vs-8 play-in game on Wednesday and, if they win that, will likely have a first round matchup against former head coach Doc Rivers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Down three starters on the second night of a back-to-back, the Sixers drop their second consecutive game at home falling to the Utah Jazz, 120-109. Kelly Oubre did his best to pick up some of the slack, registering 24 points — but it wasn’t enough to collect the home win. The Philadelphia 76ers (14-19) ended their brief two-game losing streak with a decisive 123-94 victory over the injury-depleted Brooklyn Nets (13-22). Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George played just their fourth game together this season for the Philadelphia 76ers -- the trio came together for a relatively comfortable win over the Charlotte Hornets, 108-98. Valiant effort by the Philadelphia 76ers but the New York Knicks were just too much with a comfortable 105-91 win -- tying the Sixers' season-long 9-game losing streak. OG Anunoby led all scorers with 27 points while Landry Shamet hurt his old team with 20 points off the bench including six made 3s. Quentin Grimes paced Phialdelphia's scoring with 25 against his former team. The Sixers are now 23-52 and a full two games behind the Brooklyn Nets for the 5th worst record in the league.

The Philadelphia 76ers (14-20) had an awful shooting night and simply could not overcome the poor team percentage, multiple scoring droughts, missed free throws and the absence of Joel Embiid in their 109-99 loss to the Phoenix Suns (16-18). Back home after a 4-2 six-game trip, the Sixers led at the break by four but the Suns outscored the 76ers 36-27 in the third quarter to build a double-digit lead and did more than enough to secure the win.

Kelly Oubre was really good in his return, putting together a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double with Tyrese Maxey adding team-highs of 31 points and 10 assists. Guerschon Yabusele filled in for Embiid at center and totaled 14 points and 10 boards. Bradley Beal paced Phoenix in scoring with 25 off the bench including 13 in the third.
