I am joined by my friend and a wonderful Indigenous woman, Celina Tibo.  We talk about domestic violence, immune system issues, raising mixed kids and the newest Calgary Police video of the Black woman being brutalized.

From racism, broken treaties, and cultural pillaging, to the value of Indigenous lives and the importance of Indigenous literature, this collection reveals facts about Indigenous life in Canada. I am joined by Marilyn North Peigan, a Blackfoot woman from the Piikani First Nation who has decided to run for city council in Ward 7.  Marilyn is a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, was appointed to the Calgary Police Commission in 2017, and was part of the citizen advisory committee that produced the White Goose Flying report.
