Hi Mamas,

I’ve always been drawn to quotes—the kind that stop you in your tracks and make you think. This week’s quote is one that hit me right in the feels:

“They tried to bury us, but they didn’t know we were seeds.” 🌱

It’s not just a Mexican proverb—it’s a powerful reminder of resilience, growth, Overcoming Self-Doubt and Growing Your Passionand refusing to let anything or anyone (including ourselves) hold us back. Today, I’m getting real about how we sometimes bury our own passions. Yes, it’s easy to blame external forces, but what about when we’re the ones holding ourselves back, telling ourselves our dreams are impractical, impossible, or just not the right time?

I’ll share how this quote resonated with me on a deeply personal level, especially as a working mom balancing the demands of family, career, and my passion for helping other moms like you. I’ll also unpack the importance of letting those buried dreams see the light and why it’s never too late to nurture that “seed” inside you.

💖 My challenge for this week mamas is:

Take five minutes today to reflect on your passion—what’s the one thing that lights you up inside when you think about it? Write it down. Then, take one small action toward that passion. It could be as simple as researching a course, starting a journal, or just sharing your dream with someone you trust.

This week’s quote is “Life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change” by Jim Rohn.  Goals don't become reality by chance; you need to make intentional changes. Each decision either brings you closer or pushes you further from your goals.

I challenge you to pick one area of your life and make a change that aligns with one of the goals you have for this year. And you don't have to pick something big. You can start small. You can even go back through my episodes and pick the one resonates with one of your goals for this year, the most, and really listened to it. If you listen to it already, then listen to it again and take notes. Write down those tips I share and try them out.

And as you are doing your weekly planning every week this summer, reread what you wrote and see if you are  living up to what you wrote down on that paper, and if you’re not, then you know you need to make some adjustments for the next week, you need to plan, reprioritize, you need to make the time with your kids your non-negotiables and start saying no to the things that are moving you further away from the summer you wanted to remember.

Hi mamas!

In today’s episode, we’re diving into a topic that resonates deeply with many of us—caring too much about what others think. As working moms, it's easy to fall into the trap of worrying about how we're perceived, whether it’s how we parent, manage our careers, or balance it all. But here’s a truth bomb: most people aren’t thinking about you nearly as much as you think they are. Eleanor Roosevelt said it best "You wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do."

💖 My challenge for this week mamas is to take some to reflect on a time where you let the worry of what other people might think affect how you did something or how you showed up as a mom, a wife a friend, a time where you were not true to yourself because you allowed the worry of other’s people’s judgement to affect your actions and then think about what you could do differently next time. And start taking the next steps to gaining confidence in yourself, in your values, and in your decision making because you got this and those people in your head truly don’t matter! The only thing that matters is you!

Hey mama, let’s talk about that feeling we all know too well… the one where no matter how hard you try, something always feels like it’s slipping through the cracks. Maybe it’s the never-ending laundry, the unread emails, or the fact that you’ve reheated your coffee three times and still haven’t taken a sip.

But here’s the truth: Just because you haven’t figured it out yet doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re learning.

And this week’s mindset shift is inspired by a quote from Thomas Edison: 💡 "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

As moms, we juggle a lot… work, family, home, personal goals… and yet, we’re still so quick to beat ourselves up when things don’t go perfectly. But what if instead of seeing setbacks as failures, we saw them as lessons? What if instead of quitting, we tried again… just a little differently?

In today’s episode, we’re diving deep into how to reframe “failure” as learning, how to stay consistent with your routines even after a tough week and why investing in mentorship can shortcut your success.

💖 My challenge for you this week, well really this summer is for you to completely detach from work on your next vacation, like really detach, don’t think about work, don’t check your emails, turn your notifications off your phones, delete those work apps and be fully present with your family!  And to set yourself up with success, make sure to listen to tomorrow’s episode where I share my tips on how to set yourself and your job up so you can take a guilt free vacation.

But what if the most meaningful gift you could give your loved ones wasn’t something you could wrap? In this episode, we break down how giving your time and attention as the greatest gift of all.

Listen in to learn how to shift from doing to being, ways to simplify your schedule, and how small, intentional moments can create lasting memories. Plus, I share practical tips for making time during the holidays without adding more stress to your plate.

💖 My challenge for you this week mamas is to give the gift of your time intentionally.

Pick One Person: Choose someone in your life who would deeply value your time. It could be your child, your partner, a friend, or even a co-worker. Block out time where you limit distractions (put away your cell phones!), where you are going to be fully present, where you listen and engage.  And lastly, at the end of the week reflect on how the that time you spent with them impacted your relationship with them.

It’s so easy to fall into the trap of constantly giving without ever stopping to refill our own cups. But here’s the hard truth: if we keep pouring without taking care of ourselves, we’ll burn out.

We are starting to shift into a new season of back to school and Fall.  And with any change of season comes changes in routines and little added chaos so this month we are focusing on how to find peace in the chaos starting with today’s quote ”Ego says: once everything falls into place, I’ll feel at peace, Spirit says, “fine your peace and everything will fall into place.”

💖 My challenge for you this week, focus on finding your inner peace amidst your daily chaos. Every day, take a few moments for yourself—whether it’s through meditation, a quiet cup of coffee, or if tea is your thing, then a hot cup of tea, take a walk, or simply just sit where you are and do some deep breathing. When you feel overwhelmed, remind yourself that peace comes from within.

Learn practical tips to pause, breathe, and respond intentionally so you can enjoy more joy and less chaos as we unpack this quote by Maureen Kiloran: "Stress is not what happens to us. It is our response to what happens. And response is something we can choose."  Plus, I’m sharing my favorite ways to turn stressful moments into opportunities for connection, calm, and even a little fun (hint: it involves a good game of 20 Questions!).

💖My challenge for you this week mamas is…. practice the art of choosing your response.

  1. Each time something stressful happens, take a pause.
  2. Ask yourself: Is this worth my energy? How can I respond in a way that serves me?
  3. Keep a small notebook or use the notes app on your phone to jot down one time each day when you paused and responded intentionally instead of reacting.

This year I am on a mission to really learn my body, understand what I'm putting into it and how it affects my weight,  my overall health and also how to start building more muscle because the older you get, the more important muscle becomes.  I started looking into those things that I'm sure you've heard of macros. As a busy working mom, the idea of tracking what I eat and having to do anything with math, or that requires me to think any more than I already have to do on a daily basis is a major turnoff, but with the right tools in place and a little education on the topic, it really makes it a lot less intimidating. So this week, I brought in my friend and qualified macro and meal planning coach, Verona Angol, to teach us the basics about macros.

As working moms, the end of the workday can feel anything but restful. In this episode, we dive into the mindset shift behind the quote, "At the end of the day, remind yourself that you did the best you could today, and that is good enough." Learn how detaching from work each day and embracing the idea of “good enough” can help you show up fully for yourself and your family and help you create that work-life balance you deserve!

 

💖 My challenge for you this week mama’s is for you to start embracing “good enough” and detaching from work at the end of each day. At the end of each workday, take a moment to appreciate what you did accomplish. Write down one thing you’re proud of from today, no matter how big or small. Then jot down the top three tasks or priorities for tomorrow and lastly create a closing ritual to signal to your mind and your body that the work day is over!

Hi mamas!

We are halfway through the year and it’s time to do a serious goal check in…    We are continuing our focusing on hitting that reset button on your new year’s resolutions, those hopes and dreams you had for this year and the power of visualization and manifestation.  One of the biggest dreamers was Walt Disney and if he is the perfect example of how to turn your dreams into reality. This week’s Monday motivation is a quote from Walt Disney: “If you can visualize it, if you can dream it, there's some way to do it."

💖 My challenge for you this week mamas carve out 10 minutes each day to visualize your biggest dream. Sit in a quiet space, close your eyes, and imagine every detail. Feel the emotions of achieving that dream.

Then, write down one actionable step you can take towards this dream each day. By the end of the week, you’ll have seven steps that bring you closer to your goal. These steps don’t have to be monumental. They could be as simple as researching, networking, or planning. The key is consistency and momentum.

Finally, share your dreams and your steps with someone you trust. Accountability increases your chances of staying committed and offers you the support you might need along the way.

In today's episode, we dive into a powerful reminder: "If you don’t make time for your wellness, you’ll be forced to make time for your illness." As working moms, we’re constantly juggling work, kids, household responsibilities, and endless to-do lists. It’s easy to fall into the trap of putting ourselves last, thinking we’ll get to self-care when things calm down, not keeping up with our annual Dr visits, going to physical therapy to handle that constant pain you’re dealing with or simply just taking time for yourself to do something that lights you up! But let’s be real—life never really slows down, does it? In this episode, we’ll explore the simple yet vital concept of wellness and why it’s non-negotiable.

💖 My challenge for you this week mamas, schedule scheduling 15 minutes of wellness time every day. And I mean, actually put it on your calendar, just like you would a meeting or an appointment This could be anything that makes you feel good. Taking a walk, even if it's walking your dog at night. Reading a book prepping a healthy lunch for the next day, or simply just sitting in silence with your thoughts.
