For anyone that loves interiors, whether designing for yourself or others find out the steps we go through and how you can add a touch of design in your home.
Stay tuned for Episode 2 where we discuss - did Netflix kill interior design?
So how did the rise and domination of home shows on the likes of Netflix impact on interior design globally? Are we all chasing the same cookie cutter look in our homes?
This week we discuss the Kardashians, Selling Sunset and Studio McGee and how we think these shows have changed the way people design theirs homes all over the world.
We also talk to independent British maker, Sophia Frances, at the London Decorex show as well as catching up with kitchen expert, Graham, from Halcyon Kitchens.

Join us again for our next episode where we take on the last interiors taboo - money. Budgeting for renovations - where to save and where to splurge!
How much should a new bathroom cost? Where can you save? Where should you spend?
This week we take on the often uncomfortable topic of money when it comes to renovating your home. It's the driving force behind almost everyone's design plans, yet we never talk openly about it - why is that?
We explore how the current economic climate is taking cash from your renovation budget and what to do about it!
It's certainly a gear change in this week's episode as we tackle two wildly different topics, but nonetheless with an interiors flavour across the board. We discuss Gwyneth Paltrow's home and interiors style and find out what we love and why! You can see the recent Architectural Digest piece we discuss here.
Also, living up to our name and delving deeper into the 'Layers of life', we discuss creativity and neurodiversity - laying bare the realities of creating and growing up with a different way of thinking.
We also talk through the value society places on the arts and what we think needs to change.
Wherever you look in Marrakesh you can't fail to see something beautful - its actually overwhelming!
As a designer I'm used to cherry picking the best elements and bringing them together in a design, but here you're spoilt for choice! We talk all things Marrakesh and share the interiors inspo we bought home with us.
For those of you thinking of taking a trip to soak up the creative sights, we stayed in Riad Les Yeux Bleus just 10 minutes walk from the famous Jamaa El Fna square, in one of the most popular and safest quarters in the medina.

In our great podcast tradition of serving you some of the most random interiors topics we can think of... this week we give you Ancient Greece & Rome!
It's a progression from our conversation last time on the Riads Emma experienced in Marrakesh and how they share a very ancient layout that dates back thousands of years.

We also discuss some ancient examples of homes particularly for our local listeners Lullingstone Roman Villa just down the road in Kent!

This episode takes you on a whistlestop, sun soaked tour of some our favourite design inspo travel destinations. If you're currently considering your summer holiday, this is the episode for you.
We discover Sicily with it's unique rustic charm alongside bold primary colours, and then head over to Morrocco and the vibrant details of the souk and riads.
Checking out the effortless chic of Parisian design, before a quick stop in the magnificent opulence of Versailles!
Finally we land in Spain, at the Alhambra palace in Grenada, with its unmistakable Moorish and Islamic design influences, along with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces that are a masterclass in 'bringing the outside in'.
It's the age-old question - how can I add character to my home?
For those living in new builds or the boxy dimensions of the 70/80s it can be overwhelming when considering injecting a touch of personality in such a bland space.
In this episode we explore the differences between adding character and following trends. We also offer the answers in terms of light touches that won't break the bank.
For those that are dealing with slightly too much 'character' added by previous owners we also guide you through finding a subtle balance.
We answers your questions in our Ask Us Anything segment - if you want your questions answered for the next episode DM us on Insta!
