Devotional Author, Sacred Feminine Women’s Advocate, Podcaster & Priestess - Mel Sienna Madgwick is a Devotional Author, Podcaster, Priestess and Channel whose vision is to uplift and awaken the humanity of woman through the teachings of the sacred feminine. Mel's work started in journalism, publishing and media at the age of 15 where she started her career working for women's magazines and large corporate organisations. She always felt an inner calling to help women on their spiritual path, so she followed her heart and moved her career over to women's counselling. When Mel was 18 she went on a pilgrimage to over 24 countries through Europe and the Uk, this trip sparked a further divine connection within and her spiritual world blossomed, leading to an inexplicable connection with Mother Mary. She was initiated into her temples through the direct spiritual experience of gnosis and she has worked with her for over 22 years as her main spiritual guide.  Ever since Mel has experienced Mother Mary's healing miracles first hand - and has worked together with her main guides Mother Mary, the Angels and the Masters of the Ancient Holy lineage within her holistic healing and counselling sessions watching her clients experience miraculous healings - clearing past and present trauma, emotional, spiritual physical blocks and inner child healing leading them to a greater awareness of their into reclaiming their sacred feminine truth, connection with the heavens and the earth, soul purpose and intuitive callings. Mel now combines her passions of writing and spirituality to channel and write books about the sacred feminine, she is a full time Devotional Author & Channel. 

With a Masters in Journalism and Communications, a Masters in Counselling specialising in women's intergenerational trauma and relationships, and further training within women's rights, integrative somatic trauma psychology, ancestral and racial advocacy from New York's Embodiment Lab she aspires to install a sense of empowerment, wisdom and unity amongst women. This week’s episode is a guided meditation which helps you to connect to the Divine Mother, Goddess, The All. This is for healing, resting and replenishing. When we rest in her embrace, we come back to ourselves.

I have been working with the Divine Mother for years, in her different forms, to find rest, peace and healing. In her embrace, I become still and in complete faith and trust. She comforts and holds us when we need, guide us through darkness and light, and help us to come back to our pure and innocent essence. She is the Mother of all mothers, she is the seed of all of creation.

In Her womb we all rest, in Her arms we are nourished and we are Her beloved children.

This week’s episode is all about spring and how to prepare the body for spring time with Chinese Medicine. My guest is Rachel Appel, a Colorado-licensed acupuncturist and clinical Chinese herbalist. She is also a licensed yoga instructor and is working towards becoming a teacher of Vedic meditation. She received her Master of Acupuncture and Master of Chinese Herbal Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.

This week’s podcast guest, Dr Joanna Kujawa, is the author of The Other Goddess: Mary Magdalene and the Goddesses of Eros and Secret Knowledge, scholar, and spiritual detective. She received her BA and MA from the Pontifical Institute for Mediaeval Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada, and her PhD from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.

Ena Vie and Howard Lipp have been on the path of healing, recovery and awakening for over 25 years. “My work is about redefining, honouring and celebrating womankind. It’s about shucking off the old oppressive narratives that were created by the patriarchy—stories wherein women are described as being the weaker sex, sinful, hysterical, and born to suffer in silence. From Eve, to the present moment, the feminine has either been misrepresented, maligned or erased from history.

I was not raised as a Christian, however, through my own inner pilgrimage, I’ve discovered that I carried these negative stories deep inside myself. Unidentified lies are like an invisible burden, they effect the way we feel about ourselves, and the way we choose to move through the world.

As I began restoring Mary Magdalene’s identity to the wise and sovereign being that I believe she was, I simultaneously felt a deep shift within myself. I’ve became more peaceful, and am finally able to rest in who I truly am. But most unexpected: I feel a deeply affirming connection with Her. It has been a profoundly healing experience. Such is the transformative power of creativity.”

This week I recorded a guided prayer meditation. It is so important for us to contemplate, meditate and pray to align ourselves over and over on our path, especially when we feel stagnant, stuck or just ungrounded. Prayer is a deeper way to connect to the divine and to yourself to know that you are always guided and supported. You can ask the Universe for anything and that which serves the highest and greatest good for you and for all will unfold. Words are healing, creating and manifesting, and thought is matter. There science that proves that prayer can help heal our and other's health, we can create more love through prayer and we can connect deeper into our divine connection within us through prayer. 

This meditation can be practiced whenever you feel like reconnecting with that aspect of yourself and the Universe and you can also listen to it before you fall asleep if you have a hard time falling asleep.

This week I am sharing a guided meditation for releasing fear, to create more space for love. Fear is a control mechanism and is something that takes us away from the present moment, blocking us from living completely and fully. When we release fear we accept the now and we surrender to our divine path. If we hold on to fear, we create dis-ease in our body and it prevents us from living our purpose. We also have to face our fear to see what they are here to teach us.

This week I am sharing a new affirmation meditation for reducing stress and creating more harmony and balance. When we become overwhelmed by life’s demands we need to ground and come back to our body. When our body is in stress mode, our sympathetic nervous system is activated and we can experience palpitations, fast and shallow breathing, racing mind, insomnia and gut issues. This meditation is aimed to help you release stress and get back to calm and peace. You can listen to it sitting or lying down, whenever you need to create more calmness. You can listen throughout the day or before you fall asleep. If you listen to it while sleeping it will still integrate on a subconscious level.

This week’s guest is Dalia Zada. Dalia has a MA degree in Nonprofit Leadership & Management from the University of San Diego’s School of Educational Sciences. She is a Kurdish muslim with parents who immigrated from Kurdistan to the US in 1992 and her work in advocacy is influenced by her identity as a Kurd and my true passion lies in poetry and story-telling. She wants to use her degree to be a leader in education and transform America’s K-12 public education system to be equitable and representative of all identities. She is also a teacher and founded an art program at her school, teaching Visual Arts & Art History to 7th and 8th grade students. Aepril Schaile, MFA is a performance artist/priestess/poet with a dance practice rooted in the ancient and ever-evolving art of Bellydance. She has taught and performed at curated events in Paris, London, Rome, New York, and throughout Europe and the United States.

Aepril shamanistically becomes Trickster, Warrior, Ghost, Storm, Grieving Mother, Killer, Graal, Seductress. This week, for the very first time, I have two guests on, Ishtar and Valeria. Valeria is a change advocate, healer, Akashic Records teacher, community builder, motivational speaker and conscious-living ambassador. Ishtar Bäcklund Dakhil, is an illustrator and visual artist from Sweden. She spends her time travelling the world, working with both self driven artistic projects within local communities as well as working  commercially with clients.  

After not fitting in most of her life and dealing with self-destructive behaviours, Valeria started the healing journey that would change her life forever. In 2010 she co-founded Longboard Girls Crew, the now biggest community in the action sports industry that empowers girls and women in more than 60 countries. She’s now devoted to her non-profit Longboard Women United, helping hundreds of girls and women in extremely unprivileged areas around the world.

Ishtar’s creative explorations of the picture book format has led her to new & innovative ways of inviting readers into the reading experience, through interaction via VR techniques. The interplay between analog & digital design is a form that she recurrently works with. Ishtar’s interest in personal narratives & themes of cultural belonging has also led her to further investigate innovative educational methods to share tools within visual storytelling. Through her process based workshops format titled “The Place that Hurts & Glitters” she explores and facilitates creative ways to recreate and work around personal narratives through visual communication. 

Valeria exposes the system and advocates for change in her many talks and conferences, including two TEDx Talks. Through her 1:1 sessions, mentoring, workshops, group channelings, newsletter and guided meditations she helps people heal, thrive and align to their soul purpose.

In Valeria’s own words: “In a system pushing us to live in fear, living in Love is a revolutionary act. The time is now. We were born to anchor and expand the new frequencies to manifest the new earth and we can only do it together”. She lives in the mountains near Esporles, in Mallorca.

This week I am sharing my very first yoga class, both as audio and video on YouTube. This yoga sequence is specifically designed for the second chakra (energy wheel), the sacral chakra (swadhistana chakra). It is a slow class which combines yin yoga and hatha yoga.

This powerful energy center is where our creation power is stored and it helps us to be creative, expressive, sensual and the flow of life. It is connected with the water element, just as the womb is filled with water as the baby is growing. All source of life comes from water.

This chakra is orange and is directly connected to our root, lower back, pelvis and hips. So this class is focused on hip openers and is intended to help you slow down and go within. This also helps you to connect with your womb/hara.

Lara Charlotte was born in Aotearoa, New Zealand and descends from settler colonisers of mostly English, Irish and Scottish lineage. Since 2012 she left a corporate career due to a personal health crisis and has since immersed in a journey of soul remembrance, transformational healing and devotional service. She spent over 5 years in full-time training with traditional shamanic plant medicines in the Peruvian Amazon, a path she continues with until now. This week’s episode is all about autumn and how to prepare the body for autumn time with Traditional Chinese Medicine. My guest is Rachel Appel, a Colorado-licensed acupuncturist and clinical Chinese herbalist. She is also a licensed yoga instructor and is working towards becoming a teacher of Vedic meditation. This week’s episode guest is Tova Olsson who has been teaching yoga and meditation for nearly 20 years. She holds a MA in religious studies from the University of Gothenburg and is specialised in yogic and tantric traditions. In this episode we speak about the Dasa Mahavidyas, the ten tantric wisdom goddesses, which Tova has an online course about. Dasa Maha Vidya means "Ten Great Wisdoms", depicted in classical tantric tradition as a group of, to say the least, macabre goddesses. Some of them, such as Kali and Tara, are quite well known, others, like Bagalamukhi and Matangi, are more obscure. But they all represent both stages of cosmic evolution and human spiritual development. Therefore, they can be called wisdom plateaus, cosmic forces as well as the faces of kundalini. This week’s episode is all about Reiki healing and I have my Reiki Master Yuko Kubota as my guest. Yuko is a Japanese Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and Kinesiologist currently based in Tokyo, Japan. Today I have Josefin Hemmingsson as my guest to talk about female health, Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and Yin Yoga. She is a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner and acupuncturist, yin yoga teacher and passionate about female health and fertility. She started studying Chinese Medicine in 2013 in the United States and Spain and then continued her studies in Sweden. This week’s episode is the lovely Beta Lisboa, a healer, yogini and the founder of the Dynamic Spiral Yin Fascial Yoga program, with more than 25 years of experience in the healing field. She shares her passion for our ancient traditions through music, books, apps and self-help technology.
