18 Apr 2017Ep 110, Bronnie Ware: A Tale Of Courage, Surrender And Breaking Through Upper Limits00:47:10
Bronnie Ware has been called many things. Above all she is authentic and bravely lives how her heart guides, free of any such labels or expectations.
Bronnie's calling is to lead by courageous example; a calling she honours with integrity. Having sat by bedsides of the terminally ill for several years, she knows the pain of dying with regret. Bronnie also understands the value of humour and being real. Consequently she exercises her power of choice with consciousness on a daily basis.
While acknowledging how much courage it can take to truly allow all we deserve through, Bronnie believes we are all worthy of joy. Her work and teachings draw on first-hand experience, always delivered with relatable honesty. With a grounded attitude and great sense of humour, Bronnie connects to people from all walks of life.
Her incredible life experience goes well beyond the years with dying people and has taught her how much we are all alike, rather than different. This attitude also connects Bronnie easily and delightfully to her audience worldwide, particularly once they experience her energy in person at live events. Some of Bronnie's favourite things are to combine her talents into fun-filled stage presentations, as well as getting people off their computers and back to real-life conversations and experiences. Her life so far has also taught her how important it is to enjoy the precious gift of time we are given, by courageously living as true to our heart as possible.
Bronnie's favourite role is as a mother. Her favourite teacher is nature.
She lives in northern New South Wales, Australia and is a dear friend of mine. I'm so honoured to share this chat between two friends.
You can connect with Bronnie at http://www.bronnieware.com/schedule/

07 Mar 2017Ep 103, Carla Papas: The Merrymaker Sisters Go Solo00:55:56
In 2012, The Merrymaker Sisters - also known as Emma and Carla Papas - discovered a different way of living...
They were fed up with counting calories and sick of the guilt they felt after eating, with low self-esteem and super confused by all the information that was being thrown at them. They were in this obsessive whirlwind of fad diets, quick fixes and negative body image. 'Health' used to mean: losing weight, eating less and more exercise. And then they found another way, a better way, a much more fun and delish-filled way to live, and wanted to share it with everyone.
Their philosophy is less stress is best, in every possible way. ESPECIALLY when it comes to food. They believe that people have better things to do than feel guilty about past meals and anxious about what you're going to eat next.
Life doesn't have to be controlled around the food you eat. When you live a Merrymaker Lifestyle, you eat real food. And real food rocks. They don't care if you're paleo, vegan, vegetarian, LCHF, raw, etc.
The Merrymaker Lifestyle is about adding more GOOD to your life (and your plate!).

24 Jan 2017Ep 97, Amy Wright: Giving It All Up To Become The Drunk Mom01:20:13

First and foremost, Amy Wright is a mom and has been her entire freaking adult life. She didn't used to drink at all... and then she had a teenager. It was self medication or the nut house, ya'll.

Amy and her husband have 5 kids in their blended family and yes, they know what causes it so please don't ask or she'll make shit real awkward for you.

She started her online business in 2009 and tried to fit into a little box of elevator speeches and niches and "5 secrets to blah, blah, blah" for yeeeeeears. And shit just didn't work out for her the way she wanted.

She got sick of trying to squeeze her ass into that little box. So she gave it the double bird and ripped that box apart, piece by piece.
She finally embraced her gift of humor and became The Drunk Mom, making videos about life, parenting, embarrassing moments and brutal honesty. BOOM... awesome explosion!

In this free flow, Karly shares how she dealt with friction that sometimes can't be avoided when collaborating with people. She speaks about what led her to go out on her own and what drives her to be a great boss.
Karly lets us know why it is important to stand firm with our decisions, speak up about it when we believe we are right and stop apologising for our feelings.
Resentment can build up when we accept things that aren't okay but do nothing about it. It is better to address issues from the start so that we can look at the mirror and be proud of what looks back at us. We need to honour ourselves, first.
Another real, raw and a little bit ranty conversation.

12 Jun 2018Ep 170, Free Flow Convo: What is Integrity Anyway?00:18:48

**Trigger warning** Shit is about to get real!

Karly is in full truth teller mode today as she gets real about integrity in business and in life. Going from the woman who punched herself in the mirror to the woman who is called to be an artist and creator. Karly has been on a journey to discover, listen to and trust her inner voice and really LOVE the person who she sees looking back at her.
Often she has wondered if her need to be in full integrity was just another way for her inner rebel to sabotage her success. If ditching her email list was one more way for the inner rebel to say FU to the marketing gurus, or if it was truly in full integrity.
Now she sees that it wasn’t until she fully surrendered that all the bullsh*t fell away revealing what she undeniably wants and how if she is to fully claim that dream and make it a reality, she MUST stand for her full, honest, raw, truth. She must be in full integrity and she asks you, the listener, are you ready to be there too?

Are you ready to stand for your dream? To ditch the BS and BE who you actually fu*king want to be?

So the question is: What is YOUR truth? What are you willing to stand for? What is the dream that you are willing to stop dicking around with all the other BS and fully give yourself over to and start being a human BEING, not a human doing?

Share your thoughts in the Show Up Speak UP Group and if you feel called to, claim one of Karly's one on one sessions by emailing her here.
