21 Oct 2020Is Lowering Your Price The Only Way To Increase Sales?00:21:08

Do you believe that lowering your price will increase sales?

If you’re launching your signature service for the first time or you’ve been in the game for a few months and not getting the sales you expected, this episode will help.

It’s way harder to sell something for free than with a price tag. If I see something for free then I tend to stay clear of it and question its true value.

So, how should you go about setting your price?  Tune in to find out more.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • A lower price doesn’t mean less friction - It’s normal to experience a lot of friction when you’re new to the market. While lowering your price may seem like a good idea to reduce friction, it won’t. This is a limiting belief that you need to overcome.
  • Communicate your true value - When it comes to your service, you understand its true value. However, your prospects don’t yet understand this. It’s your job as a seller to communicate what you can do for your prospects in a way that they will comprehend.
  • Don’t underestimate the importance of price - When it comes to sales, I believe price is the most important factor. It demonstrates the level of value your clients can expect. A high price tag communicates quality and attracts high-quality clientele.
  • Don’t take the easy way out - Experiencing rejection and having prospects trying to haggle can be damaging to your confidence. Instead of taking the easy way out and offering discounts, you should enhance your ability to communicate your value.
  • Raise your rates - If you’re lacking confidence and struggling to overcome sales objections then check out jereshiahawk.com/rightresponse. With the right attitude and tools, you can raise your rates and learn to become a beast at sales.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

Raising your rate takes more effort than just deciding on a new price. Then comes the work of addressing the objections, effectively articulating your value in your marketing content, and designing curriculum that delivers on the promise you sold the client into. Need some help with this?

03 Feb 2019Why Pay For A $2,000 Course When You Can Get The Information For Free?00:19:55

Jereshia explains the distinction between buying off of cost and buying off of the guarantees and promises that supplement the information you can obtain at a lower price point.  She encourages us all to be smart consumers and provides the 3 elements every course needs to have to make your short list when shopping around for programs and can confidently invest in.  Keep in mind, the greater the promise attached to a course the higher the price point may be because there is a greater return on investment.

Find out the buying questions you need to be asking along with the 3 elements an online course needs to have before taking the leap into investing in a course on this episode of JereshiaSAID!

Raising your rate takes more effort than just deciding on a new price. Then comes the work of addressing the objections, effectively articulating your value in your marketing content, and designing curriculum that delivers on the promise you sold the client into. Need some help with this?

04 Nov 2020How This London Based Career Coach Used The Champagne Closer™ Method To Overcome Her Struggle With Sales Call with Janine Esbrand00:43:56

My guest on this episode is the awesome Janine Esbrand, a London based corporate and commercial lawyer who enrolled in Leverage after traditional online launch methods failed to yield the results she wanted.

With 12 years of experience in the legal industry and a drive to find solutions that support her growth, Janine is very inspiring to listen to.  This episode is especially interesting if you struggle to confidently close clients on sales calls.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Are you using the right method? - Janine tried using a membership model for her first launch. Although she had some success, she realized she wasn’t going to hit her revenue goals and wasn’t attracting fully committed clients. This caused her to shift her approach and find a better method.
  • Realize your value - Even though she was hesitant to charge a high price tag, Janine thought hard about the value she was bringing to the table and the results she could get for clients. After this, she knew she needed to sell a high-ticket item.
  • Thriving through COVID - Despite having invested in Leverage just before the international break-out of COVID, Janine remained fully committed to the process. With more and more people needing a career change, she’s found her services are more relevant than ever.
  • Qualify your leads - Janine always questions whether a prospect is the right person for her program. Rather than trying to make a sale, she now tries to ensure that she’s only attracting clients that will be a good fit.
  • Learning how to close consistently - When Janine began using the Champagne Closer™ Method, she learned to shift her focus from trying to make the sale, to helping people understand what they wanted and help them make the right decision. This instantly turned around her sales performance.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

06 Nov 2019How This Digital Marketing Agency Is Racking In Millions For Her (And Her Clients) With Emily Hirsh00:40:47

Today, you’re in for a treat.  This episode features an extra special guest, Emily Hirsh, who’s a very big deal in the world of online marketing. She’s been working with top-level influencers and game-changing entrepreneurs through her full suite marketing management company. After developing her revolutionary “Hirsh” method, she’s made a ton of money for her clients, allowing her business has gone from strength to strength

Even though Emily is now at the helm of a multi-million dollar business, four years ago she was a virtual assistant, managing email and calendars. She used to use freelance websites to get clients, before getting involved with Facebook groups. This is how she grew, building relationships on Facebook while learning everything there is to know about Facebook ads. Her passion and commitment to mastery in the Facebook ad field allowed her to become a dominant force in her niche.

Emily has succeeded by focusing on one goal at a time. She also makes sure her whole team are united and focused with her. While it’s great to have long-term goals, she ensures that these goals are broken down into short-term, specific, and realistic objectives that her team can easily follow.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • When to say no - There comes a point where you have to start saying no to new clients. In the early days, this isn’t necessarily the case. Emily spent her first year on Facebook saying yes to everything. Offering a vast array of services, she was able to hone in on her niche, learning what she liked and disliked in the process. Once you’ve found your niche, it’s important to double-down and say “no” to clients who want something different from what you’re offering.
  • Getting your hands in the dirt - Emily may have a dedicated team working for her now, but she spent the early days doing everything herself. Two intense years of working for clients and gaining essential experience now means she has the wisdom and experience to lead her team in the right direction.
  • You still have to do the work - While Emily recognized the need to hire a coach, she asserts that doing so isn’t like a magic button that will solve all your problems. An excellent coach will give you quality advice and help you take things to the next level. But, you still have to put in the work.
  • What’s the priority? - Emily is incredibly foc

19 Aug 2020You Can't Be A Bad Buyer And A Good Seller00:41:02

In  this episode, I’m going to help you address a mental block you were probably never aware of.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Transaction before transformation - For a transformation to occur, a transaction has to take place first. A conversation is what’s required to initiate, complete the sale, and set the scene for what’s to come.
  • What kind of buyer are you? - What goes through your mind when you make a buying decision? You need to become aware of this because your mindset as a buyer inevitably translates into your selling process.
  • Qualify your clients - As a coach with a premium price tag, you’re going to be having an intimate relationship with your clients. You need to be working solely with clients who are willing to follow the processes you’re laying out. Always ensure you qualify your clients.
  • Are you showing up? - You’ll struggle to build a business if you’re unwilling to talk to people. Especially if you want to sell high-ticket. You need to be willing to interact on social media, show your face, and get in front of prospective clients.
  • Don’t get caught up in an ego trap - After getting some success I went through a few months of thinking I could sit back and live the “laptop lifestyle.” I was wrong. I needed to get my ego in check and realize: to get to the next level you have to keep working and consistently put in the extra effort.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

25 Aug 2021What's Required To Scale Beyond $1M That Your Business Coach Isn't Telling You00:40:22

Listen if you are ready to scale your business beyond $1M, and want to save years of mistakes, headaches, and hundreds of thousands of dollars. This one’s for you!

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode  was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Marketing will break your business faster than anything else if your offer isn’t actually scaleable, to begin with. If the offer itself, is not set up to scale from the backend-- then adding more marketing could put you in a position of heightened overwhelm instead.
  • When you are a selling high-ticket program, ads may buy you leads, but ads won’t convert by themselves. Manual touchpoints, with human interaction, are still required to close the sale.
  • Be careful about what is marketed to you --you need to be savvy enough to know what you actually need and when your business needs it.
  • Explaining the major difference between monthly recurring revenue and huge 1-hit-wonder launches. Are you more focused on $100k launches or are you more interested in having 100k months?
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

03 Jun 20203 Reasons Why Discounting Is Destroying Your Sales (And What To Do Instead)00:22:27

Have you set a premium price for your signature service? If so, do you think it’s a good idea to dilute your services or offer discounts to get potential clients through the door?

Breaking your signature service into little bits and pieces may seem like a good idea. It allows you to offer more products at lower price points. However, it’s not providing clients with the entire process. And the truth is: discounting your prices can destroy your sales in the long run.

In  today’s episode, I’m going to be diving into the three reasons why discounting can cause you harm and what you should be focusing on instead.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Conveying confidence - If you’re discounting prices then you need to consider the message you’re sending to potential clients. By cutting prices, you’re suggesting that you’re not 100% confident that you can deliver the results you’re promising.
  • Cutting into profit - Your job as a business owner is to generate cash flow and discounting reduces profit. Furthermore, if you’re slashing prices then you may start to resent clients that are giving less than they’re getting.
  • Help prospects understand your value - How do you communicate a value that lets prospects know exactly what their return on investment will be? If they can’t see your true value then it’s your job to help them to see it.
  • Enhance your positioning - If you’ve raised your rates then your positioning needs to be crystal clear. What makes you uniquely different from the competition? Your marketing needs to overcome the majority of sales objections before you get on a sales call.
  • Believe in yourself - If there’s a part of you that lacks confidence then you have to stop making decisions based on fear and discomfort. If you’re selling a high-ticket item then you’re someone who knows the value you bring to the table… So start acting like it. Start believing in yourself!
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

If you’re booked out with private 1:1 clients, ready to raise the price of your successful digital course or want a new revenue stream beyond retainer clients, I invite you to apply.

26 Aug 2020Q&A: How Coronavirus Has Impacted My Business, What To Do If You've Been In Business But Don't Have Consistent Cash Flow And More00:58:46

Today’s episode features an extra-important Q&A, addressing your deepest concerns. Many people are letting fear take over as the coronavirus and an impending recession has become the new norm.

This Q&A episode is about much more than surviving the current economic climate. I’m also going to be giving you some valuable sales advice and talking about what you need to do to build wealth.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Fixing what’s broken - As you’re growing your business, certain things are always going to be broken. A bad economy highlights these problems and represents a good opportunity to get them fixed.
  • Time for a pause? - If you’ve been in business for a while and you’re still not seeing financial consistency then it could be time for a pause to reevaluate your business model and ensure you’re focusing on the right thing.
  • What’s the real value of an online business? - If you operate an online business then you have a big advantage over a lot of traditional businesses. Low overheads mean you can be profitable from day 1.
  • Do you have trouble selling? - Selling a high ticket item can seem difficult if you’re constantly hearing objections and getting rejected. If you need help mastering your sales process, check out my new sales training.
  • Getting rich and building wealth are two different things - Building a business is a vehicle to generate cash and get rich. Building wealth is about taking the money made from your business and making the right investments. As you become rich, you’ll want to start having conversations about investments and learning about concepts like hedging.
  • Don’t limit yourself when it comes to mentors - The world is bigger than your online niche. There are all kinds of successful CEOs and wonderful leaders who you can learn from.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

22 Apr 2020The Missing Link: Why You Aren't Seeing Consistent Cashflow In Your Coaching Business00:25:44

Consistent cash flow is something we all look for when starting a business. At the end of the day, you want to see that all your hard work and sacrifice is reflected in your bank account.

This episode is going to give you the missing link to ensure you’re not wasting time and you’re doing what needs to be done in order to get the results you want.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Be visible - One of the main reasons why coaches struggle to consistently sell is because they’re not consistently visible. If you want to enroll clients, you have to put yourself out there on a regular basis.
  • You will enroll new clients at the rate at which you’re consistently selling your service - How often are you talking to strangers and selling your services? If you’re spending all your time playing it safe and planning behind closed doors then you can’t expect to see any results.
  • Just because you know something, doesn’t mean you can apply it - While having knowledge is great, if you’re not taking action then you will not be able to move forward. Sometimes, signing up for a coaching program and being around others that will hold you accountable can make all the difference.
  • Are your doors open? - If you have a brick and mortar business you have to open the doors to allow potential customers to walk in and talk with you. With an online business, you have to open your door and talk to prospects using other tools such as online videos, social media comments, and sales calls.
  • Are you leveraging your content? - You can leverage content by taking a piece of core content and repurposing it in many different ways. This is a great way of the impression that you’re always open for business.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

You and I both know that it’s time that you take full ownership of your expertise. Finally learn how to clarify your program promise, articulate your value, and organically launch your $3k - $10k group coaching program.

24 Jun 2020How To Increase Your Visibility On Facebook00:27:33

If you’re concerned about a lack in your visibility then  this episode is going to be extremely helpful for you. I’m going to give you an introduction into how the social media game is set up, and how you can play it to your advantage.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Understanding platforms - Social media is a vehicle to help amplify your message but your business model should never be 100% reliant on any one platform. If you’re purely reliant on paid advertising then you probably don’t have a sustainable business model.
  • Knowing how the game works - Remember that Facebook (like all platforms) is a business whose objective is to make money. As a result, a standard post on your Facebook business page will only get 2% organic engagement. This is the algorithm and you have to accept that this is how the game works. Ultimately, Facebook wants you to pay for ads.
  • The power of going live - Facebook and Instagram prioritize live video. As such, if you go live then you can expect a 10 - 16% organic reach. While this may not seem like much, it’s way higher than the 2% reach of a static post.
  • The power of repurposing content - In order to spread your message further, you can repurpose content. Sharing a recording of your live video on your Facebook group is an excellent way to do this. You can also transcribe your live videos into written content and even release the audio as a podcast.
  • Leveraging to maximize return - Why create a separate piece of content for your email list, YouTube, blog, and all other platforms? Instead create a single piece of content and leverage it by repurposing it for all platforms? You have to learn to leverage content to maximize your time and visibility.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

20 May 2020Why This Copy Writer Bounced Back After Burning Down Her Successful Agency with Jamie Jensen00:36:04

Today’s episode features the amazing Jamie Jenson, who is sooo much more than a copywriter.  She's an award-winning screenwriter, storyteller, mentor, and entrepreneur who founded a digital marketing agency that grew 50% year after year for 3 straight years. Not only does she strive to serve clients to the best of her ability but she leads with her heart. You’ll find her insight and perspective are incredibly inspiring...

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Have fun - While writing the copy for her first business website, Jamie noticed she was having so much fun. It was a no-brainer to provide this service to other businesses and brands. Do what you love and you’ll greatly increase the likelihood of success.
  • Raising the rates - After establishing her business, Jamie had to have several significant shifts in her mindset to raise her rates as she became more business-like in her approach. She came to realize that her services were helping people make more money and she started to take notice of what other people in the market were charging.
  • Creating processes while serving - When creating her agency, Jamie was very committed to creating strict processes that her team and clients would follow. Even though they were rigid, these processes kept things moving forward and allowed client projects to be completed successfully.
  • Follow your heart, not your ego - While leading her agency, Jamie began to lose excitement about growing the business. Even though her ego loved being an “agency owner”, her heart didn’t want to pursue it. This led to her going back to what she loved most... working directly with clients to help tell their stories.
  • Accepting money lost - Jamie has a refreshing perspective on money that she’s “lost” in the past. Even if you spend big on something that doesn’t work out, consider the lessons you’ve learned. Accept that not all your choices will work out the way you want.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

Raising your rate takes more effort than just deciding on a new price. Then comes the work of addressing the objections, effectively articulating your value in your marketing content, and designing curriculum that delivers on the promise you sold the client into. Need some help with this?

28 Oct 2020Why Selling $15,000 Programs Is Simpler Than Selling $1,500 Programs00:31:06

If you’ve been in business for a while and don’t want to be doing 1:1 forever then it may be time to leverage what you’ve got.

1:1 is a great way to start out as you get used to landing high ticket-clients and refining your process. However, after you have three to five clients, it becomes advantageous to shift your business model to a high-ticket group program, which is exactly what we do with our Leverage program.

We’ve helped many clients go above and beyond six-figures. In  this episode, I’m going to be discussing one of the keys to achieving this high level of success.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Commit and follow through - If you’re on a coaching program to help you launch your product or service then you need to be all-in. You need to commit to the process and follow through with the launch.
  • Why is it easier to sell a $15,000 program? - The psychology of a buyer looking at a $15,000 program is completely different from a buyer looking at a $1,500 program. Anyone considering the higher price tag understands the value and return that such an investment will yield.
  • Attract reliable and committed clients - If you’re selling a program with a $15,000 price tag you’ll experience far less failed payments than if you’re selling at $1,500. Also, because your clients have invested so much, they’ll be fully committed to showing up and doing the work required.
  • Resistance never goes away - Each time you reach a new level in business and your financial life, it’s normal to experience resistance and feel discomfort. Instead of trying to avoid the discomfort, recognize that it’s a normal part of the process that can be helped with mindset work.
  • The power of group coaching - Even with the best process in place, if you’re unwilling to shift your beliefs you’ll never move forward. Working with peers in a group coaching program is one of the best ways to continually recognize and shift limiting beliefs that would have gone undiscovered.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

Every day, we help coaches and DFY providers, like you, transform their 1:1 service into a SUSTAINABLE online coaching business that is set up to automate the necessary aspects of your offer so you have the energy to show up, serve your clients and increase your business growth month after month.

28 Jul 2021Get Your Clients To Hold Themselves Accountable In Your Group Coaching Program00:46:00

If you are on the fence about whether you should join a higher-end group coaching program that is $6k-20k, or whether you should just hire a 1-1 coach for $2-10k, then this is for you. You should know up front that there’s a different way you must hold yourself accountable in a group coaching program, over private 1:1 coaching.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode  was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • There is a big difference in the way you must conduct yourself and hold yourself accountable in a group container vs. private 1:1 coaching
  • A course is usually DIY experience --meaning a self-study curriculum that teaches you the information, without a heavy amount of individualized attention, coaching support, or in-depth community to help you with implementation
  • In group coaching programs, 1:1 support is ALWAYS provided, it’s just not private support. Any time you ask a question, you are getting 1:1 support to answer that question, it’s just not private.
  • Vulnerability is required as a business owner, in order for you to grow in a group container
  • Your coach can only hold you accountable to the level that you hold yourself accountable. You must hold yourself accountable, in order for your coach to help you get the full results they promised. It’s not your coach’s job to do all the heavy lifting for you.
  • Holding yourself accountable can be you offering a perspective or sharing a mistake and how you fixed it. It doesn’t mean you always have to have all the answers.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.
  •

01 May 2019Do You Call Yourself a Coach or a Consultant (And Why It Matters)00:17:43

I’m curious to know… what do you call yourself? Are you a consultant, freelancer, contractor, coach, or what?

Recently I was having a fascinating conversation with a friend about this, and I felt it was so good that I had to share it with you. Because it does matter what you call yourself. Here’s why…

Not only does it help you to position yourself in the market but it also helps to determine your level prestige. And therefore, how much you can get paid. It also sets up an expectation of what your client expects of you.

And remember, regardless of what you call yourself, when you step away from employee life to start your own business, you’re no longer an employee. I, therefore, ask that you please leave the employee mindset behind.

05 Aug 2020Q&A: How Do I Know If My Signature Service Is Specific Enough?00:42:01

One of the biggest struggles my clients have is getting their head around what their offer should be. Once you’ve selected your signature service, how do you know if it’s specific enough? And, how do you sell it consistently?

In  this episode, I’m not only going to walk you through the three levels of specificity that you need but I’m going to tell you a few things that you NEED to hear right now. I’m in full-passion mode, so tune in, buckle up and get ready...

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • It takes time - If you’re moving too fast, it’s usually not sustainable. Accept that your first 3-5 years in business will be a constant state of refinement. These adaptations are not the same thing as starting all over again. They’re a sign that you’re evolving as you find your niche, change your positioning, and adapt your business processes.
  • What’s your overarching category? - This is a general category that you fall within. For example, you may be a marketing consultant or a business coach. The problem is that a lot of people stop there. They name their profession and don’t specify their service.
  • What’s your business niche? - This is your specialty or area of focus. For example, a web designer may focus exclusively on WordPress sites.
  • What’s your signature service? - What is the result you’re delivering? This is where things usually get difficult as you have to define the specific service you provide. Get super clear on the problem you’re solving.
  • How to know if your service is specific enough - Ask yourself: is there a recipe that someone else could follow to get my result? If not then you need to keep drilling down. I’m not saying that it’s going to be easy. But you can do it! Forget about things like positioning, content creation, and sales until you get down to the necessary level of specificity.
  • You are now the answer to someone else’s prayer - What’s holding you back? I believe that you have everything you need to go out there and sell your services…. And get paid a high-ticket price. You need to believe in yourself, be bold, and be transparent.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

You and I both know that it’s time that you take full ownership of your expertise. Finally learn how to clarify your program promise, articulate your value, and organically launch your $3k - $10k group coaching program.

15 Apr 2020Daily Discomfort: The Price Of Success00:44:53

Do you have any idea what’s required for you to evolve and grow as a person? Service provider? CEO?

This is what I’m going to be tackling during  this episode. It’s particularly important if you find yourself with any limiting beliefs, or if you have a lot of people around you who don’t understand what’s going on.

Throughout  this episode, I’m going to be addressing some of these beliefs and challenging your perspective to get you into a state of discomfort and on the path to success…

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Is it hard to make new friends as an adult? - When you need to upgrade the people around you, making new friends can seem hard. But, it’s not. I just think it’s uncomfortable, so why not go out there and introduce yourself, join a group coaching session, and get active in the Facebook Group.
  • Daily discomfort is the price of success - It’s so easy to label things as being hard and giving up before we get started as we let the fear build up. But, if you’re willing to push through the comfort over and over again, then you’re setting yourself up for success.
  • You don’t get what you want, you get what you deserve - Getting from where you are to where you want to be is a road of daily discomfort. There will be sacrifices necessary. You have to voluntarily coach yourself by putting yourself in positions of discomfort.
  • Have faith - Are you willing to believe in something even when there is no evidence to support it? You’re highly unlikely to have evidence when you’re trying to achieve something brand new to you. This is where a little faith is required.
  • Start by finding gaps in your business - When you want to upgrade your circle, think about your objective. A great way to do this is to identify gaps in your business that need to be filled. Find appropriate mentors or coaches in these fields, and sign up for their live events or join their group coaching sessions.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

01 Apr 2020Will You Choose Comfort or Courage?00:17:47

This episode is all about what you need to do when reaching these low points because you will have to decide whether you’re going to choose comfort or courage in your journey.

The thing that separates those who have, from those who “have not”, is a decision that’s made on a daily basis. You have to be committed to achieving your goals and making your dreams come true… every single day!

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • The end result - So many people glorify the result, yet people rarely talk about the daily discipline, sacrifice, and dedication that’s required to get there.
  • Seasons change - If you’re on a path of growth then it’s natural to find yourself going through various seasons of change. Sometimes things get tough and you have to accept, understand and embrace it.
  • Stop waiting for circumstances to change - Things aren’t always going to flow smoothly. Sometimes, when things get tough, you have to stop waiting for inspiration to fall from the sky or for things to magically get better. You have to push through the times of discomfort.
  • You already have what you need - Everything you need to achieve your goals, you already have inside of you. Most of the time, you know what to do… You just need to actually go out there and do it.
  • There’s nothing shameful about needing help - Growth requires a lot of faith and there’s no shame in admitting you need help when times are tough. If you have control over everything, then maybe you’re operating in life with too much comfort. If you’re always comfortable then you can never expect to grow.

Key Highlights of the Episode

After a couple of years of pondering a leveraged offer, she realized her niche and passion was in writing for social media. 30 Jun 2021Managing Client Expectations In Your Group Coaching Program00:46:24

This episode talks about how to create firm boundaries when you transition from serving 1:1  clients to a group coaching program. Clarifying your boundaries is key in having successful relationships with clients, especially in group settings.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode  was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • The need to re-educate your clients about what they can expect from you when you are doing a group program, instead of doing 1:1
  • Determine where your boundaries need to be. What are you promising vs. what is overdelivering? Where do the hard boundaries need to exist?
  • Transitioning from codependency to a co-working relationship with your clients where you help them do it for themselves
  • Debunking the myth that group coaching programs don’t have any 1:1 support
  • The 3 things you need to do manage client expectations effectively
  • Understanding whether you coach more from masculine energy or feminine energy. Does your client need more therapeutic, encouraging support at this time, or do they need more analytical and strategic? Most coaches will default to one or the other. Clients need to understand what they need and you must clearly communicate the expectations of what you will deliver.

14 Aug 2019How To Get Out There and Build an Awesome Online Business Organically, Even if You’re Not an Extrovert with Mariah Coz00:53:04

My special guest on  today’s episode is Mariah Coz, who is incredibly effective at running her company that helps people create their own courses.

Her biggest program now is her “accelerator” program that forms a services-hybrid coaching program to help people go from one-on-one to a group coaching program. Mariah shows that if you have real confidence in what your offer delivers and you’re incredibly excited to help people with what you have to offer, then even the most introverted person can be super-successful in selling through webinars, or an equivalent sales method.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Respond to what they’re asking for - Mariah has been very effective in listening to what her audience wants. Instead of guessing, she created and released specific products that people were actually asking for. Of course, this made the selling process much easier.

  • Results-based pricing - While Mariah felt uncomfortable and had a hard time pushing up prices, she began to realize that the results her clients were getting far outweighed the price she was charging. By eventually deciding to raise her prices, she began to attract more customers that were extremely committed.
  • Find people that are better than you - When it comes to scaling her business, Mariah has been successful in finding the right people and training them extensively. She’s transferred all of her knowledge to her employed coaches so that they can coach the clients at least as effectively as she could.
  • Long term - Mariah is willing to spend big money when it comes time to invest but she’s realistic about ROIs. In the modern world, we’ve created an expectation of instant returns. In business, however, it doesn’t usually work that way. If she’s making a big investment, she’s well aware that she may have to wait several years in order to get the big payoff she desires.

  • Paying for access - Whether it’s joining a mastermind group or attending a live event, it’s important to recognize that you may have to pay for access to be around people who are on a path of excellence and are going to help you get a better sense of what’s possible.

21 Apr 20217 Mindset Shifts To Position Your Coaching Business For 7 Figures00:26:23

In  this episode, I’m going to be talking you through 7 key mindset shifts that will help you grow into the role of CEO in your coaching business and take you beyond 7-figures. I recount my experience collecting my first $70,000 month, a milestone that I was very proud of, and share with you all the mental adjustments I had to make along the way to get there.

Establishing your business and hustling your way to $50,000 a year requires a certain skill set and drive. However, when you reach a certain level there are ways of thinking that you need to let go of and new thought processes you have to adopt if you want to continue to evolve.

Tune in for the 7 mindset shifts you need to make in order to grow a multi-7-figure coaching business.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here is a brief summary of the 7 mindset shifts you need to reach 7-figures:

  • #1- Where am I becoming the bottleneck? - I used to think in terms of what I should be doing. However, this was causing me to become a bottleneck. It forced me to be aware of where and when I was getting in my own way, in terms of growth and progress.
  • #2- How can I find or train someone to figure it out on my behalf? - Trying to figure everything out by yourself may be effective in the beginning, but when you transition to a CEO you need to document your processes and then train others on how to do it.
  • #3- How can I coach my team? - I stopped trying to come with the answer and instead looked at how I could create a great working environment so my team could execute their own solutions.
  • #4- What’s best for the company? - Asking yourself what “you” want is great in the early hustle phase, but to build a sustainable business you have to separate yourself from your business and take ownership by doing what’s best for your company, not just you.
  • #5- Own and acknowledge stepping into your power - I would always wonder if this was really possible for me. Once I was making six figures consistently I still felt I had to prove myself. I had to stop second-guessing myself and develop my self-confidence.
  • #6- Diagnose and find the root cause - I was very reactive, responding to symptoms in the early days. Taking a more proactive approach led me to do the most important work-- which was what I was resisting.
  • #7- What problem needs to be solved? - It’s easy to become consumed with what you think you should be doing, mimicking others. However, when I started to dial in on what needed to be done, my effectiveness went through the roof.
  • And lots more! Tune in now.

02 Dec 20203 Reasons Why Your Messaging Is Attracting Prospects Who Aren't Ready To Invest00:25:41

Today’s episode features an issue that many coaches face, but have trouble pinpointing where the exact problem lies.

If you want to attract clients that convert then you’ll want to tune in. Grab your notebooks and get ready, because I’m going to be teaching you how to create and deliver a clear message that gets you the results you desire.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Do you have a clear program promise? - You can’t expect to attract qualified prospects if there’s a disconnect between what your offer provides and your prospects’ ability to understand the value it brings to them then. Your message needs to reinforce your value proposition.
  • Have you defined your positioning? - It’s important to define how you want people to perceive you. You have to train your audience to perceive you in the way you want to be perceived and apply the appropriate angle to achieve this in your marketing.
  • Teach people how to think - If you’re selling a high ticket item then you can’t use “how-to” articles. The psychology behind high ticket buying is completely different from that of an ebook. Instead of teaching people what to do, you have to teach them how to think.
  • Are you delivering your message? - Are you showing up and putting out live steam videos and chatting to your audience? Creating content behind the scenes is important but you can’t expect people to align with your messaging if you’re not showing up and delivering a message.
  • You are capable of doing hard things - Being courageous enough to show up and allowing your voice to be heard is hard. I understand that. But, I believe in you. I believe you are capable of doing hard things if you’re committed.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

17 Jul 2019Investing In Yourself: What To Do When You Want To Say "YES" But You Need The Money First00:41:33

When it comes to building a business, a lot of us get to a point where we know we’re going to need extra help to keep things moving forward. This comes in the form of making an investment in ourselves. However, A lot of you want to take it to the next level and need the help, but don’t want to invest until you have the money.

In order to help you out with this dilemma, and to ensure you get access to the coaching, support, and resources you need to continue on your path, I’m sharing with you what’s worked well for me and my clients.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Can you afford to miss out? - Instead of focusing on how much an investment will cost you right now, consider how much money you’re losing out on if you don’t invest.
  • You begin to show up in a different light - If you want to move to the next level, it only works if you commit first. This has been true for me at every stage of my business. The money flows and comes to you after you invest. When you put money down, you start to show up differently and become more committed than ever before. Consuming free resources can be great for overcoming small hurdles, but it’s never going to incentivize you to show up and do the heavy work that’s needed to level up.
  • Having a coach isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity - I understand that if I don’t engage with someone who’s beyond where I’m at right now to push me and help me grow, then I’ll end up being comfortable and stagnant in the space I’m in. And, the second we become too stagnant is when our business starts to die.
  • Take action without censoring yourself - Rather than fretting about not having the money to invest, try writing down 10 things that you can do to actually come up with the money. Be open and don’t censor yourself. Maybe there are ways you can provide value in return for cash that you’d never considered. If you want it bad enough then take action and make it happen for yourself.
  • Mindset = 80% - Learning external strategies is important but it’s only 20% of the puzzle. 80% is mindset, and involves unlearning and relearning all the things we were taught through the “system.” We need to relearn everything that will help us become the most abundant and best versions of ourselves. I could give you all the strategies in the world to earn money, but without the right mindset would you actually be ready to receive it?

19 May 2021How to decide when it's time to pivot your packages beyond 1:1 coaching00:12:48

You must know how to get proven, consistent results for your clients, before you pivot and package your 1:1 offer into a group coaching program. If you’re selling high-ticket 4-figure offers, you MUST be able to get results that are consistent.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Before you try to move past 1:1 you need to have a clear offer and a clear proven process that gets clients results. Use your 1:1 coaching to first nail down your framework and make money while doing so.
  • Learn about the 2 different ways to create a leveraged offer: building out a team or creating a high-ticket group coaching program repackaged from your 1:1 offer
  • Once you have a proven process to get results, you can leverage it, without having to create new products
  • When you create a new offer, you are serving a new audience--which is where more work comes in.
  • How to use the POP Method - serving one client, one problem, and one process in order to create a niche that you can dominate in.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

21 Jul 2019How This Brand Strategist Bounced Back After Being Laid Off and Made Over $50,000 From Her Signature Service With Peachi Williams00:27:10

For many of us, the thought of being laid off and losing our job spells the end. Not for today’s guest, Peachi Williams, who merely switched her focus to what was really important to her.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Stepping stone - Working a corporate job isn’t always a dead end street. In fact, there are many positive aspects you can take away from it. It’s an opportunity to learn and grow as you overcome challenges and develop the skill sets that will eventually make you successful in business.
  • Are you helping yourself as much as you’re helping others? - Peachi came to realize that she was often lending a hand and helping out other people succeed in their businesses. Yet, she never really gave herself the help that her own business needed to succeed. Rather than watch by as other businesses grew, she decided enough was enough and it was time to make a big investment that would propel her in the right direction.
  • The first time isn’t always flawless - After attempting to complete Services That Sell, Peachi found herself coming to a standstill and her progress in the program came to a halt as her life was very hectic at the time. After a phone call, I urged her to re-commit and she got back on board, more determined than ever. Sometimes, things don’t run smoothly the first time around. There are times when you have to re-commit and be willing to do whatever it takes.
  • What to do with all that expertise - Peachi was highly confident and competent in her area of expertise. The vast experience she’d accumulated made her an expert in her field but she didn’t quite know what to do with it. She credits the STS Facebook group and its wonderful participants as a motivating factor in helping her to continue niching down until she found her ideal signature service.
  • Do it again… and again if necessary - Peachi hasn’t simply worked through Services That Sell the one time. She made the decision to work through the material a second time in order to enrich her learning and enhance her understanding. By going through the material a second time, she’s sharpening the sword and becoming even more effective in business.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

You and I both know that it’s time that you take full ownership of your expertise. Finally learn how to clarify your program promise, articulate your value, and organically launch your $3k - $10k group coaching program.

11 Dec 2019No Excuses: How To Hold Yourself Accountable To An Outcome Not Just A List Of Tasks00:54:32

Do you ever find yourself falling short when it comes to getting the results you desire?  Today’s episode is all about being accountable for oneself, and I’ll be dipping into my five building blocks to build accountability. This episode may be a reality check for a lot of you, but I think it’s going to help out a great deal.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Why are you starting your own business? - Why do you want to start your own business vs being an employee? If you want to be in charge of your destiny and build something for yourself, great! If, on the other hand, you simply don’t want to have a boss who’s holding you accountable, then you could be in for a shock when you become your own boss.
  • See the bigger picture - Accountability isn’t merely about completing a list of tasks. It’s about being committed to seeing the objective through to completion. While getting the day-to-day tasks finished is essential, you have to understand how they relate to the bigger picture. Without the bigger picture in place, you can’t be accountable for achieving the overall objectives that will define your success.
  • How to make yourself accountable - Without a crystal clear expectation, it’s impossible to be accountable. Don’t just say you want more money, say exactly how much money you want and when you want to have earned it by. Your goals have to be measurable. Then you need to know how to go about achieving your goals. You have to be realistic about your capabilities and your capacity. Often, this means saying “no” to people who aren’t helping you get closer to your goal since you only have so much time and energy in a given day.
  • Your fear of asking for help can lead to failure - I get it! Many of you were forced to be self-sufficient in early life and have been doing a great job in taking care of yourselves without ever asking for help. Understand that business doesn’t work like this. If you’re used to going it alone and refusing to ask for help then you need a shift in mindset.
  • The importance of feedback - Feedback is essential and you have to get it regularly. Without honest feedback, how do you know whether you’re on track to achieving your goals? Beware though, if you’re asking for feedback from a spouse, bestie, a friend’s grandmother, or anyone that has no business experience. Make sure you get your feedback from people with relevant expertise and those who understand your context. If you don’t have any business-minded friends to ask, then join a mastermind group, hire a coach, or go out and make yourself some new friends. In Services That Sell I’m always personally holding my members accountable.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

29 Jul 2020What Kind Of Entrepreneur Are You? Understanding Your Entrepreneurial Archetype00:28:36

Understanding your entrepreneurial archetype can be insanely helpful when making business decisions and learning to sell your services consistently.

That’s why in  this episode, I’m going to help you discover what type of entrepreneur you are, the traps of each type, and what you need to focus on...

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Sales are essential - Regardless of your entrepreneurial archetype and personality, you have to get comfortable with sales. Communicating what value you bring to the table and inviting people to hire you is something you have to get good at.
  • What type of offer? - Do you want to create your own intellectual property? If so, you can revolve your business around this. If not, maybe it’s better to revolve your business model around supporting someone else’s intellectual property.
  • Mission-driven entrepreneurs - If you’re a mission-driven entrepreneur, you have a strong, higher-calling that drives you. However, you need to beware that you’re not so focused on making a difference that you neglect the long-term financial viability of your business. You need to get to grips with the number to ensure you fulfill your mission.
  • Expert entrepreneurs - If you’re an expert entrepreneur then you're starting your business after gaining years of experience and expertise in a certain field. A common problem with experts is that they may neglect to learn the business side of things and sign up clients in their pursuit of producing high-quality work.
  • Lifestyle entrepreneur - A lifestyle entrepreneur typically starts a business in order to establish their ideal lifestyle. This can be a problem if you lack the drive required to build a successful business in the first place. By treating your business like a hobby you may never earn the money needed to finance your desired lifestyle.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

21 Aug 2019How This Copywriter Overcame Adversity To Build A Highly Demanded, Boutique Business With Five-figure Offerings With Prerna Malik00:44:42

My special guest today is Prerna Malik who is one of the best copywriters in the game and currently runs Content Bistro, along with her husband.

They explored the idea of providing blogging and social media management services to small businesses. Through hard work and dedication, things were going well. It was when Prerna decided to niche down and go from a general blog writer to focusing on being a conversion copywriter that things really started to pick up.

She’s since become a master in the copywriting world. So much so that she has a long line of businesses wanting to pay her five figures for her services.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Solid work ethic - You can have all the tools in the world but without a solid work ethic, you can’t expect success. Even though Prerna lives in India and English is her second language, she is able to write world-class copy for the English speaking world. There’s no substitute for work ethic when it comes to overcoming obstacles and achieving your goals.
  • The personal touch - Prerna would work tirelessly to identify potential clients by looking for businesses that would be a good fit and didn’t have a solid blog or social media presence. By writing out each prospective email separately, the personal touch went a long way to winning over clients.
  • Packaging your service - Selling a standalone service doesn’t allow you to charge anywhere near as much as selling a package of services. When Prerna started to package her services, her sales shot up dramatically. Her clients were far more excited and enthusiastic about the prospect of purchasing a “package”.
  • Don’t be Beyoncé on day 1 - In the early days, while you don’t have to scrape the barrel, it’s also not wise to charge super high prices until you can justify the value that you’re providing. Prerna can now charge $13,000 for a service she provides, but that’s because she’s backed up with years of experience, technical ability, and countless case studies.
  • Repeats and referrals - Nothing confirms your credibility like getting repeat purchases and referrals from existing clients. In fact, the majority of Prerna’s revenue is made up from repeat business, where she gets to know her clients better each time and can, therefore, provide an even higher level of personalized service.
  • And lots more!

30 Aug 2020The Blessings Of Obedience00:27:43

I recorded this episode while running errands to share the testimony of the overflow of favor and abundance God has blessed me with during this season. One thing I have been learning since I started this business back in 2016 and a lesson I have been especially learning during 2020 is that our obedience always brings blessings. This episode is a pure testimony of how aligned discipline and obedience has radically advanced my life in every area.

18 Aug 2019Generation 1099: Student Loan Debt and The Modern Day Side Hustler00:31:09

Whether you’re a college graduate who can’t find a worthy job or someone that wants to liberate themselves from corporate America, I want you to take one thing away from  today’s episode. I want you to realize that you have control over your life and what your true earning potential is. Don’t let the system or past beliefs put a limit on what you can achieve.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • The rise of the side hustle - It seems that we were led to believe that if we went to college and got a degree then we’d be sorted for life. After blindly following the norms of the “system,” it’s no wonder why so many of us are trying to build a side hustle, finding ourselves sitting on massive debts without the employment opportunities we expected.
  • Investing in yourself - In order to earn a degree you typically have to spend tens of thousands of dollars and go through several years of intense study. That’s a lot of time, money, and effort, right? Now, imagine what your life would look like if you invested as much in yourself as you’ve invested in the system. What would your earning potential be?

  • Limitless - Even though your job, your industry, and the economy may dictate what your salary is, your earning potential is limitless. In order to bridge the gap between your current salary and your desired income, all you need is three things: a computer, Wi-Fi, and a social media platform. If you’ve ever had a job, then you already have a set of skills that someone has paid you for.
  • Not always a leap - While many people have the fantasy of flipping off their boss and resigning on the spot, taking a sudden leap and spontaneously quitting your job isn’t a smart move. A gradual change, where you start to put the pieces in place is far more realistic. Sometimes, freelancing in your spare time can be the best bridge to go from employment to having a six-figure business where you’re calling the shots.

  • Are you sacrificing? - Are you spending your time and money where it counts? Are there things you can live without for the time being in order to apply your resources to help you get to where you want to be?
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

04 Mar 20204 Pillars Of Building A $200k+ Coaching Practice In 12 Months or Less00:47:30

Today’s episode is going to be very helpful for you if you already have your business up and running and you’re making money.  It’s not that hard to hustle your way to six figures if you’re willing to grind it out and put in the work. But what about when you want to grow to $200k and more? Going above and beyond requires a different way of thinking and focus. That’s where the 4 Pillars come into play. Grab your notebook and get ready for some nuggets of information coming your way.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode is extremely actionable and insightful. Here is a quick summary of the four pillars:

  • Simplicity - Is your business model too complex? If you’re selling multiple offers and having to work around the clock - the answer is yes. It’s time to cut back on your offers and do less, by putting all your focus into your single, flagship service.
  • Sales - You need to be a BEAST at sales… and no, I’m not talking about the sleazy-car salesman stereotype. It’s all about making contact with your ideal customer as frequently as possible. Educating yourself on sales psychology and how people make buying decisions is crucial.
  • Systems - When you’re hustling your way to your first six figures, it’s likely that you’re running forward non-stop and haven’t even thought about building systems. If you’re constantly doing repeat tasks manually then you need to be automating or delegating them. Document your processes and focus your time on what matters.
  • Support - You can’t get there alone. When you want to get to $200k and more, you have to ask yourself: “what support do I need?” Do you need a coach to advise you? What team members do you need around you? Do you need legal and accounting advice? What do you need to make sure you’re being your “best self”?
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

06 May 2020How To Know When To Pivot In Your Coaching Business00:24:20

This episode is going to help you identify when is the right time to make adjustments to your business model and what you need to do in order to make it happen.

I’m going to be giving you guidance in relation to the three main phases that you will go through in your business: money, manage, and multiply.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • What phase are you at? - Before taking any kind of action, it’s necessary to identify the phase of your business that you’re in. Furthermore, you have to know where you are within each phase to ensure you’re focusing on the right thing at the right time.
  • Phase 1: Money - Your primary focus when you’re starting a business is to convert clients and deliver your service. There’s no point in thinking about things like branding or creating a pretty website until you’ve figured out how to bring in sufficient money.
  • Phase 2: Manage - Now you know how to sell your services and bring in the cash, you need to learn to manage your business. This includes things like managing your resources, building systems, and investing in marketing.
  • Phase 3: Multiply - Upon creating an established and proven business model, you can now look to scale what’s working.
  • Don’t get too caught up in the future - If you try to anticipate all the problems that may come up, a lot of your energy and resources will be wasted, and you’ll lose your effectiveness to make all the necessary decisions.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

12 Aug 2020How This Done For You Social Media Consultancy Is Sustainably Scaling Beyond $250K with Andrea Jones00:37:20

This episode features the wonderful Andrea Jones, a super-successful social media entrepreneur who’s committed to high-quality client work and her online community.

Andrea has had to figure a lot of things out along the way which makes  this episode truly fascinating to any aspiring entrepreneur...

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Hustling for clients - In the early days, Andrea learned by hustling on freelancer sites and pitching for jobs to get clients. Sales is a contact sport and you have to be willing to go out there and put in the work to get clients.
  • Retain and maintain - To improve and maintain consistent cash flow, Andrea started doing more reporting to add value to her service. This ensured clients would stay with her and she didn’t have to keep going out to get more clients. She also started raising her prices.
  • Added brainpower - Once she reached full capacity, Andrea decided she needed a team. This not only enabled her to delegate a lot of day-to-day tasks but she also found that having more brains working together added a whole new level to the capabilities of the business.
  • Hardships of hiring - When it comes to hiring, Andrea has learned two lessons… the hard way! After getting lucky with her first hire, she assumed everyone would have a high work ethic and be super-accountable which was a mistake. Secondly, after hiring top talent, she hadn’t yet put business procedures in place to help team members thrive. As a result, her cash flow was hit hard.
  • Refusing the agency route - Andrea wants to be 100% responsible for the strategy and the results that the strategy gets for her clients. This goes against what a typical agency business model looks like. She’s set up a hybrid model to maintain a high quality of client work, running her business in a way that suits her.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

25 Nov 2020How This Overworked Virtual Assistant Is On Her Way To Crossing The $500k Mark By Launching High Ticket Group Coaching Programs with Tasha Booth00:48:37

This episode features the powerful Tasha Booth, someone in the online space that I’ve been admiring for a while.

In this episode, Tasha gives a behind-the-scenes look at how she went from being an overworked VA to successfully leveraged her business into a multi-six-figure agency with over 20 members.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • What is your “why”? - As an overworked virtual assistant, Tasha began asking herself “What is it that I want to do? What is it that I love doing? What is it that I’m really good at?” These deep questions started the process of figuring out what her signature service was.
  • Are you maxed out? - When Tasha was maxed out with 25 clients as a solopreneur, she had to change her business model. Since she enjoyed collaborating with others she decided to evolve her business into an agency. She is living proof that you can hustle yourself to six figures. But, this is usually the point when you need to pivot.
  • From “I” to “we” - When Tasha pivoted to an agency model, she needed to learn to let go of trying to do everything herself and train others to do parts of her job. This shift allowed her to focus on being a CEO.
  • Strategic focus - Tasha and her team carry out an annual plan to decide what the following year will look like. This ensures rash decisions aren’t made and she can take the time to ensure necessary infrastructure and processes are in place before anything new is introduced.
  • Overcoming mindset barriers - One of the biggest limiting beliefs that Tasha has faced is “no one will pay that.” She overcomes her doubts by finding other people who have “already done it.” This lets her know what is possible.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

27 Jan 2021How This Launch Expert Elevated The Evergreen Model with Micah White00:41:40

This episode features the fabulous Micah Nicole, one of the first contractors I ever hired in my own business, and it’s been a privilege to be able to watch her elevate her price points and do some amazing work with some of the most influential course creators and coaching program facilitators in our industry.

Micah is a millionaire in the making, and in  this episode, she gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how she’s been able to niche down and carve out her own lane in a saturated market to enroll eight thousand dollar clients into her program.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Igniting the spark - While Micah was landing some four-figure clients with web design, it wasn’t making her happy. Taking a step back and figuring out what she was passionate about ignited the spark and led her to launch her signature service and achieve success.
  • Do your market research - Micah was initially hesitant to set a high price tag. One way she overcame her money mindset was to look at competitors in the market. She realized they were charging four-figures for less robust services than what she was able to provide.
  • Be efficient - Micah doesn’t like to do more work than she has to. This efficient approach allows her to hone in on the work that’s needed to get the optimal results for herself and her clients.
  • Document your process - Micah understands that her audience’s needs don’t change. She has a clearly defined and efficient process to follow which allows some room to customize where necessary.
  • Work out your “discipline muscle” - To achieve success in business, Micah recommends working out and getting it together in your personal life. Every time she works out she’s training her “discipline muscle” which transfers over to business.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

30 Sep 2020The Ramp Up: What I've Learned From Selling One Program For 3 Years00:40:58

If you have trouble being consistent then  today’s episode could be insightful and enlightening for you. There’s a lot of profitability when you focus on selling ONE thing for an extended period of time. It’s how you build a healthy foundation for your business and set yourself up for long-term sustainability.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Stay focused - When starting out it’s easy to give up, change direction, or try to create another offer. Patience is vital and it’s important not to make rash decisions until you’ve accumulated sufficient data.
  • It’s not as simple as creating a dope product - If you merely try to create a dope product and mimic what someone else is doing you’re unlikely to achieve long-term success. You need to have a full service that will get results for your clients.
  • It’s a continuous process - Even after 500 successful clients and three years in business, we’re still refining and improving our signature program. As you gain experience it’s important not to get complacent and continue evolving what you have.
  • You’re not going to solve everything - As human beings, your clients have a million problems. It’s not your responsibility to solve them all. It is your job, however, to be the best in the business at solving that one specific problem that you’re being hired for.
  • Focus on what matters - It’s easy to get distracted and caught up in trends. You need to stay super-focused, refining your processes to improve the experience while acting on revenue-generating activities.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

09 Sep 2020Are You Coaching Your Clients Or Crippling Them?00:42:57

Deep down, are you afraid that your clients may not get the results you promised? Is this holding you back from niching down and raising your rates?

There’s a big difference between enabling your clients and empowering them to stand on their own two feet and achieve sustainable results after you’ve finished working with them.

In order to maximize the potential of  this episode, you’ll want to get your notebook out to jot anything that comes up. I’m going to be asking you to be honest with yourself as we tackle this together.

(If you’re going through the process of hiring a coach then check out my 20 Questions to Ask Your Business Coach to ensure you make the right decision.)

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Are you coaching or crippling your clients? - When a client has a problem, do you instantly give them the solution or do you give them the resources they need to be able to solve their problems?
  • Your clients must do the work - As a coach, it is NOT your responsibility to get your clients their results. It’s your responsibility to provide a framework and support them through their transformation. It’s a two-way commitment and your client must commit to doing the necessary work.
  • Be selective - If a client can’t commit to putting in the work, we don’t let them enroll in our program. You need to be selective, ensuring you only take on clients of a high enough caliber.
  • Ask the right questions - The ability to ask questions is a high-level skill set. When a client has a problem, it’s your responsibility to ask the right questions. This gets your client thinking about how to solve their problems.
  • Are you projecting? - Beware that you’re not projecting your own limiting beliefs onto your clients. You need to observe objectively, listen to their beliefs, and help them discover what’s untrue as they become the best versions of themselves.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

23 Dec 2020What Type Of Content Should You Create In Your Coaching Business?00:17:16

Are you struggling to get consistent results from your content? Do you know what kind of content creator you are?

In  today’s episode, you’re going to discover which of the 3 types of content creator (The Consumer, The Creator, The Publisher) you are, and what kind of content strategy you should be pursuing in your coaching business to get the results you want.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • “The Consumer” - Consumers tend to follow everyone and are constantly consuming content. Consumers are so busy watching others’ content that they struggle to show up and present themselves.
  • “The Creator” - Creators are focused on publishing content. They typically push their own content over and over again. While they tend to get plenty of likes, they may struggle with attracting qualified prospects and converting clients.
  • “The Critic” - If you’re selling a high ticket item then you need to be a critic. Critics challenge the beliefs of their audience. They share their perspectives on topical and relevant issues that their audience is currently experiencing.
  • Quality over quantity - It’s not about posting regurgitating other peoples’ content just for the sake of it. What’s more important is a consistent message that displays quality over quantity.
  • Challenge beliefs - If you’re a critic, you’re not teaching people how to do something but you’re teaching people how to think. You’re challenging their point of view in a way that opens them up to something they’ve never considered before.

22 Jul 2020How This E-Commerce Branding Consultant Kept Going When Doubts And Fears Were Holding Her Back with Aleah Robbins00:37:32

This episode features the fabulous Aleah Robbins who’s a great example for anyone who wants to overcome the fear of moving forward.

She signed up for Services That Sell after she discovered this very podcast and decided to schedule a call with me. At the time she had just started her business and was scared at the thought of doing live videos and selling.

Now, she’s getting out there and building alliances, growing her business, landing speaking engagements, and so much more...

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Document the process - Aleah was super scared at the thought of going live on video. Yet, when I gave her the advice to just document the process that she was going through, it allowed her to keep things simple and get her first video out there.
  • Feel afraid and make the commitment - Even though Aleah feels the fear, she’s committed to doing the work. This has allowed her to become successful in short time span. She sees the bigger picture and realizes what she’s doing it for. She admits that you’re going to be uncomfortable either way, whether you go for it or do nothing.
  • Get super specific - If you want to get results and have the impact you want, then Aleah points out that you have to get specific. Niche down, pick one problem and pick one person that you’re going to solve it for.
  • Overcoming doubt and slowing down - Aleah admits that she used to always be in a rush. Now, she wakes up a bit earlier and gives herself more time. This has allowed her to gain a greater awareness of herself and her feelings and do what it takes to overcome them.
  • Create a process and package your service - Aleah has been able to offer a comprehensive package that her clients need. Beforehand she would do things in bits and pieces. Taking note of typical client questions and teaching clients what they needed to know about branding is how she was able to create a packaged service.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

16 Dec 2020How Overcoming The Fear Of Niching Down Helped This Curriculum Consultant Convert Multiple 4-Figure Clients with Zakiya Williams-Spears00:37:37

Today’s student spotlight  episode features the wonderful Zakiya Williams-Spears.

Zakiya is a mom, wife, and community educator dedicated to developing more equitable learning spaces for youth and adult learners. She’s the founder of Cultur-Ed™ Consulting, a full service educational consulting firm with a mission to inspire social change through meaningful and engaging learning experiences.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Expand your circle - When starting out in business, Zakiya didn’t have many entrepreneurs around her to talk to. She looked for inspiration and people to help her on her mission by going out and expanding her circle.
  • Start broad and then find your niche - Zakiya, like many others, initially wanted to help everyone achieve all their goals. She feels that starting broad is OK while you learn to dial in on what your specific niche and signature service should be along the way.
  • Resistance is normal - To become a butterfly a caterpillar must push through a lot of resistance in order to leave the cocoon. Zakiya is a great example of how you need to keep going during those moments when you experience resistance. Being part of a like-minded community helps.
  • Don’t expect overnight success - Zakiya is in it for the long run. She trusts in the process and is patient enough to show up consistently in order to achieve success. She’s always learning and evolving.
  • Niching-down to get tangible results - When Zakiya provided a general, broad service, her clients reported “feeling better,” but there were limited tangible results. Niching down has allowed her to get specific, life-changing transformations for her clients.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

27 Nov 2019Credibility Is The New Currency00:43:48

Today’s episode is going to help you align yourself to the modern strategies and attitudes that are required to flourish in business.

Consumers are doing their research. They have countless options and have their own opinions about what they want. They’re not going to buy based on the charisma of a salesman anymore. That’s why, as someone selling professional services in the online space, you have to understand that credibility is the new currency.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Closing a sale is just the beginning - There are so many courses that help you to go out there, pull the trigger, and close the deal to get your first sale. While this is important, getting the sale is just the beginning of the relationship, It’s not the end goal. That’s why you have to build credibility into your sales process.
  • Your brand isn’t a logo or a service – It’s important to focus less on what your service is and more on what problem you solve. You need to have a specific niche that your product or service caters to. Your product or logo isn’t what differentiates you in the market. The problem you solve is what differentiates you. Services That Sell has a proven method to help you get crystal clear on this and to align your message with your ideal customer.
  • Being credible before the sale -  You need consistency with human-to-human connection. Are you consistently being visible? Are you consistently adding value? Is there consistency on your core messaging throughout your social media posts? Your content needs to be consistent with how buyers make decisions and if you’re not putting yourself out there and adding value to the audience in front of you then you will quickly lose that audience. Your content needs to be purposeful and it needs to show how you can get people consistent results
  • Being credible after the sale - Selling is not the end goal. Maintaining credibility after the sale, therefore, means you have to have a documented, proven process in place that will get your client the results they desire and expect. You have to deliver on your promise. By doing so, you’re building on your credibility and setting yourself up for the next sale.
  • Giving your services for free - There’s a common conception that you have to initially give away your services for free in order to earn credibility. I’m very skeptical about this practice, especially when it comes to the coaching business. If no transaction takes place, your client probably won’t be fully committed to putting in the work that’s required of them to get the results they want. Therefore, giving away your services for free like this can hurt your credibility.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

01 Jul 2020Bigger Isn't Always Better with Claire Pelletreau00:49:32

This episode features the wonderful Claire Pelletreau, someone who has truly created her ideal lifestyle as her business has grown. She focuses on consistent quality over potentially burdensome growth, proving that bigger isn’t always better.

After enjoying  this episode, I highly recommend you check out my episode on her excellent podcast, The Get Paid Podcast.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Working with multiples - Claire sells online courses AND runs a mentorship program, she launched because her course clients wanted more. This allowed Claire to charge premium prices. However raising your rates and enrolling clients at your raised rates are two different things. Claire’s mentorship program is hugely transformational for the members because they gain access to her expertise and a whole community for support.
  • Be an authority and have confidence in your abilities - When working with a client, Claire clearly sets expectations from the beginning. She has such confidence in her expertise that if a client experiences challenges, they trust and rely on her expert explanations without second guessing.
  • Set your boundaries - Claire has given herself the freedom to be flexible in how she serves clients. She prioritizes her lifestyle over business growth. She doesn’t want the burden of running an agency and only chooses to work with a client if she feels their values align.
  • Focus on your core offerings - Even though Claire focuses her efforts on her two successful core products it wasn’t always that way. She remembers creating other things that seemed like a good idea and after expensive launches, realized that no one wanted them.
  • Know when to slow down and when to speed up - “If you’re on the beach, shouldn’t you just enjoy the beach?” Claire knows how to appreciate family and vacation time and points out that it’s a totally different world when you have a kid. There’s a time to speed up, for example, if a client is about to launch a new product, and there’s a time to slow down and focus on life.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

14 Jul 20213 Reasons Why Our Clients Made $1M+ Launching Their Group Coaching Programs - Behind The Scenes00:19:39

In this episode, I share 3 key reasons why our organic launching method works better than the traditional method of paying for ads and funnels.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • In March 2020 this cohort had made $150k from their Lean Launches, and one student suggested the group aim for $1M collectively, by the end of the year. That became the new standard for how much revenue the group would make.
  • When clients join Leverage, 51% of them recoup their investment within the first 90 days, by generating $5-20k in launch revenue, during their first Lean Launch.
  • In their second Lean Launch, clients double or triple their launch revenue from their first launch--all through sell-by chat methods and sales calls.
  • 3 reasons why the Lean Launch Method works better than the existing coaching methods that require paid ads, funnels, and webinars. Here’s the secret sauce for why our Lean Launch Method is so effective!

15 Jul 20203 Things To Consider When Pricing Your Coaching Program00:21:17

Pricing is something that can definitely be tricky. There are a lot of things to consider beyond hitting your income goals. Price is of particular importance if you’re about to sell your first service, or if you’re looking to release a new program that leverages your current offering.

So, if you’re struggling with pricing then you’ll want to tune in to  this episode. You’re going to learn about the three factors that really matter when you set your price.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • A coaching program isn’t the same as a digital course - If you’re pricing a coaching program the same way that you’d price a digital course then you’re probably selling yourself short and leaving money on the table. Coaching provides so much more value than a DIY course.
  • What’s the promise you’re delivering? - The price of your program should be heavily dependent on the promise that you’re selling. Before you create a coaching program, you need to get crystal clear on the specific result that you’re guaranteeing.
  • What support are you providing? - If you’re offering things like group coaching calls, one-on-one coaching, or another form of support then you should be charging more. When deciding on support it should be all about making it easier for clients to achieve results.
  • What results do you want your clients to achieve? - The bigger the promise, the higher the price. Think about your clients’ return on investment and ensure you can communicate this to them when quoting your price. For me, if a client is paying $10,000, I want to help them make more than $100,000.
  • Don’t overcomplicate - When you’re working at maximum capacity you need to resist the urge to overcomplicate your business model, marketing strategy, and everything else. If in doubt, keep it simple.

28 Aug 2019Do You Have What It Takes To Be In The 1%? What Separates The Good From The Great?00:29:05

There are certain habits that you have to get rid of if you want to join the top 1%. You have to be willing to make a commitment to your goals. A commitment that ensures you won’t be giving up until you’ve gotten to where you want to be.

Things may take time, but don’t give up. Aim for greatness and be willing to do what it takes to get there.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • The recipe for change - A commitment with no follow through is like a prayer that goes unanswered. If you want to make a significant change in any area of your life, you have to make a commitment and then take action in some way.
  • How hungry are you? - Imagine if you had zero options other than to start a business and be successful at it. Imagine if business success is the only way you’re going to put food on the table. If you’re fearing commitment, this will allow your survival instinct to kick in as you tell yourself you have no other options. If you’re hungry enough, you’ll find a way to succeed.
  • Don’t delete the post - Once you’ve made a commitment and taken action, don’t allow fear to cause you to step backward and reverse all the good you’ve done. This happens way too often when I see people go live on Facebook, only to delete the post a few minutes later. Don’t delete the post! Keep it up and focus on making each subsequent post better than the last.
  • Show up consistently and the money will follow - If you’re truly committed to being the best at what you do, then you’ll get paid. You simply have to keep showing up and be willing to put the work in until things work out. The likes of Michael Jordan never stopped working, through the good and the bad. Never give up and keep showing up!
  • You’re not basic, average, and simple - Make the commitment to be great! While it’s natural to fear that everyone is watching over your shoulder and waiting for you to slip up, in reality it doesn’t happen that way. People are more concerned about their own problems and how they look. Never allow basic, average, and simple people to hold you back... Ever!

18 Aug 2021How To Avoid Manipulative Sales Tactics On Your Sales Calls00:08:55

Have you ever been afraid of doing sales calls, for fear of coming off as sleazy or manipulative? I know, many of us have been there, especially Christian businesswomen. We want to make sure we aren’t feeling like we are manipulating people into buying our offers.

The good news is, sales doesn't have to be sleazy! This ONE major mindset shift I share today, will help make sure you’re staying in alignment with your values and integrity as you conduct sales calls. I promise it will forever change the game on how you do sales calls!

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Sales is a contact sport--the more contact you make, the more sales you will have. In the online world, contact happens through live video.
  • Conversions happen through conversation. You need to talk to strangers! Have conversations with people, have intimate human interaction.
  • Transformation happens after the transaction. You can not facilitate the highest level of transformation you can unless a transaction happens first.
  • It is your responsibility to create opportunities for the transaction to take place, and for you to make the invitation.
  • How to recognize your transferable skills and leverage them to communicate your value.

25 Mar 2020Side Hustle To Main Hustle: What's Required To Replace Your Salary00:42:16

Is it possible for a side hustle to become your primary source of income? Absolutely! But it takes a certain amount of commitment to get there, as well as a particular mindset. You have to show up consistently, even on the days that you don’t want to, and especially when you don’t feel like it.

On  today’s episode I’m breaking down exactly what’s required to make your side hustle your main hustle.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode is extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Answer this question first - Is your intention to do a bit of hustling and make some money on the side or do you genuinely want to build a long-term, sustainable business? You have to make this decision before moving forward.
  • Be realistic about the numbers - How much money do you need to replace your current paycheck? Replacing your income is what will give you financial freedom. It should be your first financial goal before setting any bigger, “get super rich” goals.
  • The path of least resistance - What’s the quickest, simplest path you can take to where you get freedom of choice? This is why I’m such a big advocate of selling high-ticket offers. Having only two or three clients, each paying you over a thousand dollars a month means you have the capacity to attract these clients and serve them to the best of your ability.
  • What can you do organically to attract clients? - If you’re working full time and just getting started with your side hustle, then you probably don’t have the cash to pay for paid ads.
  • Make sure you can handle the back-end - Growing too fast can kill your business. Being great at sales and signing up a lot of clients is great for revenue, but you need to be able to take care of the back end to ensure you can handle the clients you’re getting.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

Raising your rate takes more effort than just deciding on a new price. Then comes the work of addressing the objections, effectively articulating your value in your marketing content, and designing curriculum that delivers on the promise you sold the client into. Need some help with this?

26 May 2021The Transition From 1:1 to Group Coaching00:20:36

Today I’m outlining the 3 key steps I took to be able to leverage my 1:1 offer into a group coaching program.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode  was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • What short-term sacrifice do you need to make now, that will position you for long-term success in your business? Short-term sacrifices require you to have a level of discomfort for 6-8 months to leverage your business beyond 1:1 clients later.
  • Sales is a contact sport- if you make enough contact with enough prospects, you will make more sales. Simple as that.
  • The secret to sticking with the commitment you made to yourself, even when you are NOT motivated and don’t feel like doing it
  • I walk you through the best strategy for scaling your business in a lean way, including using organic lead marketing, direct-response marketing, and permission-based sales.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

30 Oct 2019The Difference Between Working In Your Business Vs Working On Your Business00:46:40

Are you ready to become a CEO? If the answer is yes, then how do you go about planning your day in order to get things done that will ultimately get you the results you desire?

Today’s episode is a masterclass on the differences between working ON your business and working IN your business. I discuss what each of them entails and how to get the right balance.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. It’s packed with advice and guidance for anyone who wants to develop and sharpen their CEO thinking process. Highlights include:

  • Plan the process - It’s easy to get caught up in planning what you want the result to look like. What’s equally important is planning the process. This includes how to best leverage your time and energy on a day to day basis. This ensures you stay focused on what’s going to make a difference.
  • Working on your business - Working on your business is all about strategic planning. It relates to setting goals, personal development and working on the skill sets that you need to reach the next level. It includes reflecting on what has happened so far, and deciding what changes you need to make moving forward. If you have a team working for you, then you will also need to spend time delegating tasks and helping your staff develop.
  • Working in your business - The day to day operations are what we’re referring to when we talk about working in your business. This can include anything from responding to social media comments to bookkeeping.
  • Shifting from an employee mindset - If you used to be (or still are) an employee then you’re probably more accustomed to working in a business. Working on your business, therefore, may not come naturally. That’s OK though. If this is the case, you have to build your skills, stamina, and relevant knowledge over time.
  • Making the time - When planning out your schedule, you need to ensure you devote adequate time to work on your business. Even though the ratio of time spent working on vs in your business changes from season to season, practice intentionally carving out space for working on top-level decision making and goal setting. This will ensure your hard work always stays focused in the right direction.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

14 Jul 2019State Your Rate & Heal Your Biggest Money Blocks with Erin Lindstrom00:43:22

For  today’s episode, I decided to bring in an amazingly dynamic and shiny human being… And a beast when it comes to sales!

After attending one of her Shiny Bitches (yes, you read that right!) events, I was blown away by Erin Lindstrom and became an instant fan. In case you’re wondering, Shiny Bitches is a group of high-vibe entrepreneurial women who know what their passion is and are actively putting in the work to make themselves successful.

Today, she’s expressing her wisdom and teaching you how to heal your biggest money blocks.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • Are you connecting with negativity? - It’s very easy to connect with people around negative issues and complain together. Erin advises that you try to become aware of this negativity and start to shift your mind towards a more positive outlook as you start connecting with people over positive issues instead.
  • Start with your why - When it comes to mindset, always start with your “why?” Identify your bigger purpose in life (which comes from your being).
  • Who is helping you? - To be successful, it takes more than hard work and a bit of organization. All high achievers have had help along the way. According to Erin, being able to receive help is usually one of the biggest blocks that people suffer from. She suggests, however, that the act of receiving help is a skill that can be learned and developed.
  • How to show up - When you take a sales call, by being quiet and listening to the other person tell their story, you’re allowing them the opportunity to heal. Once you’ve listened, you can then figure out how and if you can help them. After telling them how you can help, always respect their decision-making process.
  • Play with possibility - Erin is a big advocate of journaling. However, she goes a bit further than most, recommending that you continually ask yourself “what do I want?” while playing about with all possibilities. For example, you could try writing the date of five years from now while you write down how your life would look if you got everything you wanted.
  • And lots more!  Tune in now.

If you’re booked out with private 1:1 clients, ready to raise the price of your successful digital course or want a new revenue stream beyond retainer clients, I invite you to apply.

10 Jul 2019Generational Healing: Black Women and the Pay Gap00:41:07

Something has been stirring up within me over the last few weeks and now I feel like it’s time to speak up and let y’all know my thoughts on  this podcast.

The whole concept of generational healing is something that keeps coming up again and again, so I wanted to get into just how much of a dynamic role it plays when it comes to both us as individuals, and in terms of building our businesses.

Did you know that women of color are establishing businesses at a faster rate than any other demographic out there? While this is amazing, the problem is that women of color aren’t making anywhere near as much money as other demographics. We’re either failing in our entrepreneurial endeavors or we’re content with mediocrity when it comes to financial earnings.

In order to understand why this is happening, we need to take a close look at what’s needed in terms of generational healing. For me, it boils down to two key issues: value and worth.

But know this...

Things have changed, somewhat. Opportunities are opening up all around you, and your voice matters. Thanks to the likes of Facebook and countless other platforms, your voice can now be heard.

On the other hand, just because you simply state a price, it doesn’t mean you’re going to get paid that amount. In order to get paid, you actually have to show up and do the work. You have to learn how to articulate why you’re worth the amount you're charging. Afterward, you have to continually show up and deliver.

Understand that there is no glass ceiling on your earning potential when you know how to sell and communicate the value of your skillset. The only limit is yourself.

Key Highlights of the Episode

This episode was extremely actionable and insightful. Here are a few key highlights:

  • The difference between value and worth - Your worth is infinite and endless. Never forget this. Your worthiness in life does NOT come with a price tag. On the other hand, your value can be represented by a monetary value that’s based on the value of results you deliver.
  • The “worth” perspective - It’s clear that, from the “worth” perspective, a lot of healing is needed. Especially when it comes to women of color. In past generations, our worth was very much based on slavery and systematic repression.
  • The “value” perspective - While a price tag can be placed upon the value we provide, you need to make sure you’re not selling yourself short. Don’t underestimate the true value you provide and make it your mission to be able to articulate your value in a way that can be clearly understood.
  • We’re in this together - If you’re ever in doubt about your value or worth, then look no further than the community. In our Facebook group, you’ll see plenty of individuals, just like you and me, who are healing their sense of worth and winning five-figure clients. If they can do it, so can you. We’re all walking the same path and we’re here to support each other.
  • Yo
