06 Sep 2023 | Ep122: Don't Let Your Fertility Clinic Do These 5 Things to Your IVF | 00:17:49
As a fertility and IVF consultant to women around the world, I am exposed to hundreds of different protocol and practices and strategies for IVF. There are great choices, revenue-driven choices (most common unfortunately), and choices that are just irresponsible - someone could actually get hurt (physically, emotionally, and financially).
Don’t allow your clinic to do these things and if doing these things is a part of their practice, I challenge you to advocate for yourself and find a new practice to give your money and body and trust to when it comes to helping you create the family of your dreams.
And if you feel like IVF is too hard to navigate on your own, and are ready to have someone guide you through best practices for your unique biology so that you can be as successful as possible as quickly as possible, just DM me. We have different consulting services pending you budget and timing. These programs are created to be that second set of eyes on your IVF protocols as well as strategies before you invest your time, money and energy. Plus we show you exactly what you need to do to get your body in mind in the most receptive state, park, pregnancy and motherhood.

08 May 2019 | EP10: Overcome Fertility Envy | 00:08:11
“I promise you, you don’t want anyone else’s fertility journey.” - Episode 10 (3:27 - 3:30) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Have you ever felt extremely jealous of another friend’s fertility journey? You’re not alone. Just about every one of my clients has too. In fact, the majority of my time is spent encouraging women to not focus on what they don’t have and give thanks for what they do have. This is no easy feat. Life doesn’t always seem so abundant especially if you’re waiting on the edge of that pregnancy seat. Envy darkens attention and clouds honest discernment. The truth is, you are blessed. To overcome fertility envy, it is important to recognize and give thanks for the many gifts you currently have and will receive. You have a choice to remain miserable in your envy, or to be empowered with the joy found in gratitude.
- Episode 10 (2:37 - 2:39) Choose an attitude of gratitude. Life is filled with turbulence guaranteed to toss us around. It’s just how it is. Persevere anyway and strive to keep your eyes open. If you’re too focused on what other women have, then you’ll lose sight and miss out on what you currently have. Here are three reasons to celebrate your fertility journey and not be green with envy.
I didn’t think so.
As I proceeded through an ultimate low of 10 rounds of IVF, I reflected on these three reasons while I envisioned holding my baby in my arms. I never wanted to trade my fertility journey with anyone else. I never wanted to forfeit the gifts in my possession and the gifts in my future. You have gifts written with your name on them. Can you see them? Or is envy blocking you?
- Episode 10 (4:45 - 5:00) A snap of the fingers won’t do the trick. If you’ve been in this green funk for a while, then you really need to sit down and begin decluttering your mind to open your eyes. Try the “Who Am I” exercise. Write down a list of 50 (yes 50!) gifts you’re extremely proud of. They could include physical feats, past achievements or acts of service you provided that encouraged others. Eventually, you’ll reach the aha! moment of “Oh my gosh, I’m really awesome! Who knew?” I knew! As do your loved ones and friends. Ask them to participate and write out their own list of 50 gifts they celebrate in and with you. Take these lists to bed with you and read them before you sleep. Allow your subconscious to repeat, “Yes, I’m awesome!” over and over again to encourage an optimistic attitude. Then just before you close your eyes and drift away, give thanks to the source of your many gifts and the gifts yet to come. Your guardian angels will continue to guide you forward through the highs and lows and lead you to exactly what you want and where you need to be. Don’t make their job any harder by steaming green and pushing for someone else’s path! Stay the course. Your perfect baby is down the way. With thanks & love, Tasha

14 Jun 2023 | Ep116: Change Your Course with Courage featuring Isabelle Otero | 00:42:01
Isabelle Otero, the spiritual advisor of the FU Project Workshop joins the podcast today to talk about how to have the courage to pivot in times of change and when things are not working how we expected, which is all too common on your fertility journey, right? Having moved from France at 20 years old, Isabelle adopted the New York way of life as a young professional. It was here that an intimate journey through anxiety and panic attacks took Isabelle to task in truly knowing her self. Averse to reliance on prescription drugs, she sought out alternatives. What started as weekly sessions with a psychologist, quickly lead to hypnosis, past life exploration, and an unlimited world of healing modalities. This journey inspired a deeper understanding of her own psychic and healing abilities to help others. As a clairvoyant medium, Isabelle is a psychic healer, certified hypnotist and energy therapist. Isabelle continues expanding her capacity to heal as a medium clairvoyant, never ceasing to trust in the evolution of her work. An as I like to say, Isabelle is the best therapy you will ever have. Listen in to learn how you make a decision to pivot? What does pivoting in a new direction look like and how can you move forward with courage and grace?

17 Feb 2021 | EP52: Path to Parenthood with Jennifer | 00:13:24
Meet Jennifer…
Getting pregnant seemed like an uphill battle with both her husband and herself having fertility issues. They tried for two years, both naturally and through IVF, before they found me. When we met she had already went through 2 egg retrievals and 5 failed transfers with genetically tested embryos, interviewing surrogates as a possible option and then natural pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage. The natural pregnancy proved to herself that she could get pregnant, but she needed a new option moving forward in their fertility journey. Through the FU project, Jennifer found a community that understood her struggles and allowed her to another outlet that provided her immensely helpful support.
Listen to how she was able to find her happy self again, create boundaries, and view this life-changing journey as one to make her even better than ever before.
What You’ll Learn

16 Dec 2020 | EP46: IVF Together, A Couple's Journey with Kate Rouze | 00:50:06
Is IVF feeling unfair?
Are you riding the emotional rollercoaster and wondering why your partner seems to be sitting cool, calm and collected on the sidelines? It's easy to feel like you're making all of the sacrifice while your partner's life seems unfazed by the IVF rollercoaster?
IVF is a huge commitment and places a lot of physical, emotional and mental demand on the female. This doesn't mean that your partner doesn't feel anything throughout the process, but they are experiencing the process through a completely different lens. IVF brings to the surface all of the little things within relationships that have been swept under the rug or haven't really been an issue up to this point.
If you and your partner are struggling through the IVF process, now is the time to fix and address any miscommunication or support woes because adding a baby to the mix WILL NOT solve these. If anything, a child will only throw fuel on an already raging fire.
On this week's episode of the FU Project podcast I interview Kate Rouze, our phenomenal mindset coach in the FU Project workshop. She is also an executive and personal coach, and co-founder of BeCurrent (www.becurrenttoday.com). Some of her favorite work includes supporting individuals in relationship, with themselves and those closest to them.

17 Jul 2019 | EP19: Easily Answering Impossible Questions with Intuitive Healer Isabelle Otero | 01:09:37
“Once you hand over control, it’s a relief of pressure. You ultimately know that the universe, your angels, God has your back.” - Episode 19 (48:31 - 48:45) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Are you doing everything right and questioning why you still can’t get pregnant? Isabelle Otero may have your answer. Isabelle is the Founder of Crystaline Heart and is an Intuitive Healer who works to open channels of enlightenment. Through her own battle with debilitating anxiety, she has learned how to properly heal through the use of hypnosis, heavenly angels, meditation, and visualization. She believes that you can break free from whatever is holding you back from reaching motherhood by connecting with the psychic energies of this world!
Here are four spiritual techniques Isabelle highly recommends. Hypnosis. Before you shrink into a corner, we’re not referring to carnival tricks that make you cluck like a chicken in a crowded room of spectators! Modern-day hypnosis is way less humiliating and far more helpful. It’s a painless technique that enables you to tap directly into the subconscious mind. There, within the pool of early memories and experiences recorded from childbirth, the therapist moves through a set of skilled questions. The hope is for you to clear out decades of garbage. But willing active participation is key for successful and immediate results. Heavenly Angels. Believe it or not, the spiritual world is a powerful realm we all have access to anytime, anywhere. Angels are real messengers with the primary purpose to bring peace and help. All you have to do is ask! It doesn’t matter your religion, ethnicity, or sexual identity. These ethereal beings are non-denominational and universal. Go ahead! We challenge you to reach out with both large and small requests from a successful round of IVF to being able to quickly find an available parking space. Just remember divine timing doesn’t always align with yours. Stay patient. Meditation. The best way to hear the messages of the universe in regards to your impossible questions is by meditation. No, you don’t have to sit perfectly still on a round cushion in double pigeon! You just need enough of a pause that will create space to connect and listen in. That could mean a bike ride or an hour of yoga! The more you continue to engage in your spiritual practice the more you build your intuitive muscle. However, keep in mind the nature of duality. An exploration into the spiritual is bound to reveal both light and dark forces. Visualization. The practice of visualization is an absolute must for mothers-to-be. It’s a powerful tool for the manifestation of our true heart’s desires. Begin to imagine or physically write out your unborn child’s features and characteristics. Realize that their energy is already here. Don’t be afraid to connect with them in the midst of their transformation to our earthly world. Your love is key to their arrival. The heart emits the highest frequency of energy like a lighthouse across the sea. Its beams of love will call your unborn child into this world.
There’s just no denying it! Something greater, stronger, and entirely good is behind the scenes of your fertility journey working for the best possible outcome. The clock of divinity knows the right time for your pregnancy. Are you willing to place your trust in its hands? Surrender. With thanks & love, Tasha

15 May 2019 | EP11: The Truth About Egg Quality with Chris Axelrad | 00:52:59
“If you want a baby, then let yourself want it. Want it with all your heart and be fearless about it. Desire moves us towards what we want.” - Episode 11 (25:13-25:31) The IVF Uncovered Podcast Your body is always working for you. This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Often women who are trying to get pregnant feel shame about their body and believe that it’s broken and working against them. In reality, your body is trying to do everything right. You just need to get out of the way and let it do what it was created to do. Chris Axelrad runs the Axelrad Clinics in Houston. He is an extremely talented acupuncturist and herbalist for those trying to conceive. He’s written the book, Awakening the Seed, which is a compilation of the knowledge and wisdom he has acquired over the years from treating fertility issues, not just on a physical level, but on an emotional and spiritual level as well. In his work with thousands of women with fertility issues, Chris started looking for ways to simplify the process so that his clients could do the focus on the most important things that would lead to the most optimal egg quality in the shortest amount of time.
- EP11 (15:23-15:36)
Slowing down and calming down is far easier said than done. The fertility struggle triggers deep primal fears that you’re going to die if you don’t have a baby. After all, babies are how the human race survives. But, when you’re constantly discharging energy with the high-intensity emotion that comes from this fear, the energy won’t be able to go to the eggs. Finding meditations, like some that can be found in Chris’ book, can help to calm your nervous system so it isn’t discharging so much energy.
Love and the Fertility Journey Wanting a baby is a beautiful thing, because what one actually wants when they want a baby is to experience unconditional love. We remember the unconditional love from when we were babies and we want that again. You don’t have to wait to have a child to experience unconditional love. You can start giving it to yourself now. Instead of saying, “When I have the baby, then …” say, “I love myself right now. I care for myself. I’m kind to myself. I’m merciful with myself. I forgive myself. I feel grateful that I’m here and there are no conditions on that. Even though I’m not pregnant yet, even though, even though, even though … I love myself just like I would love my baby.” When your mind and heart are filled with unconditional love for you first, it has a positive effect on your eggs. The most powerful fertility “drug” is self-directed loving kindness which transforms your energy into something that is actually medicinal for your eggs. It’s even more powerful than any drug, because your body’s own innate native chemistry is the most powerful drug there is. There are things you can do to help speed up the fertility process, such as supplements, IVF, medications, and dietary and lifestyle changes. But if you only do this one thing - care deeply about yourself, nurture yourself, love yourself, and be kind to yourself - everything else will fall into place. One of the best things you can do on this journey, is to find someone to walk alongside you to offer support and guidance. In my work with women, I have grown even more confident in the knowledge that women can get pregnant more quickly, and have successful pregnancies more often when they are not trying to figure it all out alone.

10 Aug 2022 | EP95: PCOS Talk with Letisha Bates | 00:59:26
PCOS affects so many women and plays a crucial role not only in their fertility journey but also their emotional health and wellbeing. PCOS is not as clear cut as you might think, so it helps to have an experienced coach like our guest, Letisha Bates, to help guide you in reclaiming your health and wellness and to support your fertility journey.
This is a terrific conversation loaded with information about PCOS. Whether or not you have PCOS, or think you might, I know you will find this talk super interesting. As with a lot of the topics we discuss on the FU project, PCOS extends beyond simply the medical aspect and into lifestyle and quality of life. So, there is lots of that goodness to be gathered from Letisha as well.
Letisha is a licensed nurse who changed careers to become a functional health coach & nutritionist who specializes in PCOS. Her own struggles with her health and PCOS led her to her passion of helping others improve their PCOS and take back their health. Since then she has become a PCOS activist and advocates on a lawmaker level, sits on the board of the largest PCOS non-profit organization, raised over $15,000 towards PCOS research & education, obtained an A.S. of Nutrition & Food Science and is currently in a dietetics program to become a registered dietitian. 26 Jun 2019 | EP17: How to Improve Your Fertility Experience with Mindset and Relationship Coach Kate Rouze | 01:03:23
“The most effective change requires doing things differently both on a mental and a physical level.” (4:40-4:49) The IVF Uncovered Podcast Kate Rouze, our mindset and relationship coach for the FU Project Workshop, teaches women how to improve their mindsets and relationships during the crazy fertility process. This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. The key to changing your life is to realize that you can actually change and that there is a huge mind-body connection. This happens when you break the internal victim dialogue of “I am this, because this happened.” Where are you on the Drama Triangle? The Drama Triangle: Victim, Villain, Hero You are in Drama Triangle anytime you criticize yourself or someone else, are stressed out, or have repeating emotions and thoughts. The Drama Triangle model, created by Stephen Karpman in the 1960s, represents three different roles you can play while in drama:
When filling one of these roles on the Drama Triangle, anyone you are interacting with will play one of the other two roles. Most of us are in some version of the Drama Triangle dance all day long, every day, with everybody. “Everything on the Drama Triangle is a flavor of victim. The antidote to victim is empowerment, which is saying, “I am creating my life.’” (EP 17 33:59-34:10) While you can’t choose what someone else says or does, you can choose how it affects you. You can choose to be a victim or you can choose to grow and be stronger because of it. Relationships and the Fertility Journey The most frequent relationship question we get from women on the fertility journey is how to get more support from their partner. If you’re asking this question, the answer is simple. If you want more of something, start by appreciating what you already have. It’s when we start thinking we have a lack that relationships go downhill. “I receive exactly the amount of support that I am capable of receiving. So if I want more support, my job is not to go tell my partner what they’re doing wrong. My job is to go inside and expand my own capacity to receive.” (EP17 42:49-43:24) The fertility journey can bring tension and friction into our relationship with our partner. When this happens, awareness is the first step to change. Often the issue at hand isn’t the REAL problem. When you give yourself the space to look at the underlying issue, you’ll understand yourself and your partner in a new way. It’s amazing to see how this intentionality can melt away those issues that have caused one million fights for partners over the years. The Most Important Skill for Women Struggling with Fertility The fertility journey brings up every edge in your psyche that you haven’t been willing to address. The most important skill you can learn is to flow with and then let go of those emotions so that you’re not carrying around stress, anger, bitterness, and resentment. This fertility stuff is intense. Women who choose to work through these issues have a strong chance of getting what they want because they’ve allowed themselves to receive the support they need. Give yourself the freedom to dig deep, adjust your mindset, and take one step closer to holding that precious baby in your arms.

Meet Erin…
For Erin, deciding to do IVF after trying for about a year wasn’t the problem. In fact, she was confident going into IVF since there were no obvious problems with her or her partner’s fertility. When we met she had done two rounds of IVF. She had everything going for her - high egg reserve at 39 and loads of embryos after fertilization. But she only has a total of 1 embryo (between the two rounds) by the end.
We discuss what got her to try IVF again even with paralyzing fears that it just wouldn't work for her and what she did to finally be successful and enjoy her adorable four-month-old baby girl today.

17 Mar 2022 | EP85: Survival Mode vs Reproductive Mode | 00:36:28
I reference survival mode and reproductive mode often on the podcast because it's so foundational to healing and fertility. Many of us get stuck in survival mode due to our body’s natural (and even biologically useful!) response to stressors. This can make getting and staying pregnant more difficult. The good news is that it's totally possible to train your brain and body to get into reproductive mode faster and easier over time.
In this episode, I dive deep into what this means so that you can have a better understanding and feel empowered to help yourself manage your body’s stress response and create the family of your dreams.

22 May 2019 | EP12: Designing Your Life with Janelle Lara | 00:39:36
“It’s not black and white. It’s not you can only have a baby through IVF or naturally. It’s not that you work from home or become a stay at home mom...you can design whatever life you want, even if you’ve never heard of it before.” - Episode 12 (2:36 - 2:51) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Imagine what it would feel like to spring out of bed in excitement for the day ahead. What would life look like? The exciting news is you actually have the power to manifest your dreams into reality! You are the architect, should you accept the amazing responsibility to design the blueprint of your life. If you don’t believe me, just ask Janelle Lara, founder of the Part-Time CEO. Janelle is a full-time mom and part-time business strategist/coach who knows you can have it all. Her belief is that all women, new moms, soon-to-be moms, and YOU have the power to build a life in alignment with the heart’s true desires. I know this is a bit different than our usual topic of discussion here on the FU Project! But it is crucial for every woman wherever they are at on their fertility journey to understand the power within their hands. A power that you can embrace as an architect who listens, surrenders, trusts, and stands firm as you design the life of your dreams. “When your options are limited, sometimes you end up creating something that is a lot more creative than you ever would’ve done before.” - Episode 12 (10:55 - 11:03) Even if you haven’t allowed yourself to dream beyond the comforts of your reality, let’s wipe any mud off the windshield to see clearly ahead. Begin to draw the blueprint for the life of your dreams in four steps.
“The sooner that you can listen to the signs, surrender to them, and know that this is the down that will propel you up so you can see more clearly, the sooner you can reach the life of your dreams.” - Episode 12 (37:07 - 37:24)
There is not one way and one way alone to conception. There is not one career choice best suited for a mother. You can pick and choose according to what’s best for you and your family. The sky's the limit and the universe wants to help. So stay on the lookout for any clues along the way that will guide you in the right direction. When the path seems overwhelming, impossible, or outrageous, have faith. Especially when your gut says yes. Focus your eyes ahead and stay selective and protective of where you spend your limited time and energy. The more you open yourself to possibility the more conscious you become of what you can actually achieve. But don’t take my word for it! It’s time for you to take hold of your power. Become the architect of your life today and design the life of your dreams! With thanks & love, Tasha

04 Nov 2020 | EP40: Fertility Diet Hits and Misses with (my husband) Brian Pannuzzo | 00:45:01
Most of us are fed ideas of what healthy and ideal lives look like from the diet, wellness and fitness industry. For women, this tends to mean we are in constant diet mode: losing 5 pounds for the vacation, a few pounds over here for the wedding, take some off over here after the holidays. Nutrition can get especially confusing when there are so many “miracle” diets and quick fixes preaching that they are the best for your health.
Brian Pannuzzo is a nutrition and health coach, and, well, my lovely husband and the father to our two (expensive) children. When he is not coaching his own clients, he helps my patients identify trends in their diet and nutrition that may be preventing them from getting pregnant and how to create building blocks for a healthier lifestyle.
On this episode of the FU Project, Brian and I talk about the importance of what you’re putting into your body, how you’re doing it, and tips and tricks for making a more nutritious lifestyle easier. Brian identifies the ideas that the wellness and fitness cultures feed us from day one and the dieting patterns it creates in our lives. Listen to find out how to reclaim your nutrition to better your fertility journey and life.

Navigating which supplement to take and which to not take can be an overwhelming task. Add to that trying to create a baby, and boy can you get some conflicting information! In this episode, I explore the role of supplements in fertility.

So, here is a quick overview of supplements pretty much everyone should be taking, supplements for fertility. I hope this episode offers an informative guide to supplements and fertility, making it easier for you to understand their role in your journey to parenthood.

I often speak with women that are working so hard on their fertility journey to do everything perfectly. By the time they talk to me, they are exhausted, confused, and at a loss for what do to next. If they're doing everything that they're supposed to do, why isn't it working?
IVF doesn't have to feel like jail. You can enjoy life and still work towards creating the family of your dreams. In fact, when you shift your focus from being and doing everything perfectly to doing the things you enjoy and that feel right for your body that's when the magic starts to happen.
Caffeine, alcohol, nutrition, exercise, and acupuncture are topics I am asked about daily. So I figured, why not answer your questions in a podcast episode!

17 Apr 2019 | EP7: Getting Out of IVF Jail | 00:25:53
“IVF is not an imprisonment, but a choice we get to make to help our family dreams come true.” - Episode 7 (2:36) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. It's amazing how much IVF has in common with a prison sentence - at least on paper. The fact is, far too many women who are on a tough fertility journey think of their IVF treatments, and the lifestyle they require, as a stint behind bars. Before we go any further I want to let you know. It's not. Not even a little bit.
That jail cell is not your worst nightmare. It's what's going to make your dreams come true. Too often, I hear women talk about how they “have” to do IVF and all that accompanies the process. Good news! You don't have to do IVF. You get to do IVF. If you're feeling imprisoned, stop feeling sorry for yourself and be thankful these treatments exist, and that you can access them. There are plenty of women in the world who can't do so. Yes, IVF takes a lot of T.I.M.E. - that's Time, Investment, Mental Health, and Energy - but the benefit far outweighs the cost.
Nothing is keeping you in your jail cell. You don't have to get rid of the food, drinks, and activities you love for the length of your fertility journey. All you really need to do is rein it in a little for the few weeks leading up to an egg retrieval and the same before a transfer. That's it. Beyond that, it's all about targeted de-cluttering. If a habit isn't directly interfering with your efforts to get pregnant or your well-being, go for it. Live your life like a responsible adult, and indulge on special occasions. You can start with quick wins to make you feel like yourself - like a glass of wine or a cup of coffee - and then do the foundational mindset work to be a better problem-solver before baby arrives.
Anyone who hasn't done training aimed at mindset work or decluttering typically gets caught up on two different questions. Why did I allow that, when I know better, and why do things like this keep happening to me? The healthiest way of looking at your past starts with the understanding that there are no mistakes, unless you're stuck in those decisions and unable to move forward. Think of those “mistakes” as lessons instead. As with every education, there is a cost, but the higher the cost, the better the education. Everyone does the best they can with the education and consciousness they have at the time. You should never blame yourself for making a decision in the past based on what you knew then. You are in a new season of life, armed with new knowledge, to make new decisions. You're in control of your life as you go through IVF, and freeing yourself from the fertility fail cell is as simple as opening the door, and remembering that true freedom comes from seeing your past as a lesson. With thanks & love, Tasha

Are you stuck in a rut of regret about your past fertility choices?
Because I often need reminding that mistakes can be valuable lessons that shape who we are today, I thought you might appreciate the reminder, too.
In this episode, I discuss how to let go of the past and focus on the present, living free from regret and judgment, and trusting that your journey is leading you down the right path.
You are the author of your life story. You can start replacing your heavy past with powerful lessons to lead you to a brighter, lighter, and freer future.

The mission here at the FU Project is to empower patients with information to help them ask the right questions of their doctors, save them time and money, and feel less alone on their fertility journey.
I wish I could work with everyone one-on-one but that is not always an option. So, I have released hundreds of short and long form videos on advice to bring to your fertility journey.
When Kelly so sweetly reached out to share that the free content we put out there helped her get and stay pregnant, I just had to talk to her because this made me so happy. This is exactly what I hoped to achieve with the creation of the free content and help me with my bigger mission.
This is also the perfect opportunity to share that I have compiled a comprehensive Resources Page on tashablasi.com so people can easily find the content they need to progress on their fertility journey: https://www.tashablasi.com/resources.
In my conversation with Kelly, we talk about her experience with some of the resources available, what specifically she found most valuable, and where she is on her fertility journey today. What You'll Learn

16 Feb 2022 | EP82: What Can Block Implantation and a Healthy Pregnancy | 00:27:13
What is keeping you from getting and staying pregnant? Why won't the embryos implant, or if they implant, why won't they stick?
It can be incredibly heartbreaking, after all the work and the emotions that go into the egg retrieval and transfer, just to get that negative pregnancy test or a positive test that doesn’t stick.
While there are always going to be things that are simply out of our control, I find that it is helpful to know exactly what we can control.
In this episode of the FU Project Podcast, I share some of the things that you can do that are in your control, including what I know can get in the way of implantation so you can be armed with things to discuss with your doctor.

27 Feb 2019 | Pilot: The FU Project with Tasha Blasi // Fertilitites Unite | 00:05:23
IVF Uncovered by Tasha Blasi
Welcome to the Fertilitites Unite Project (Also referred to as the FU Project. Yes, that was intentional). I’m Tasha Blasi, founder of the FU Project, mother of two very expensive children, and your fertility expert. I went through ten rounds of IVF, so that you’ll never have to. Having children was one of the most challenging, and expensive, things I have ever done, but I believe my difficult path to parenthood was meant to help you. My goal is to help you do IVF easier, smarter, and cheaper than I did.
“What is a fertilitite?” you may ask. A fertilitite is a brave and empowered person going through fertility treatments that takes control of the journey by arming herself with knowledge and support.
I have spent years studying, teaching and doing an insane amount of research to discover the science and environmental factors behind a successful fertility journey, and I’m ready to share with you all that I have learned. Each week I will be unraveling your fertility mystery by sharing the best practices in my key pillars to a successful pregnancy - science, environment, mindset, and support. Fertility clinics are probably not telling you that these pillars are all equally important, and are all equally significant to a successful pregnancy. Using these pillars, and the knowledge I have gained, I will be sharing strategies that I have seen work for hundreds of women around the world who are now proud mothers of beautiful little humans. This process has worked for 100% of the women who have completed my program, and it can work for you.
If you are trying to conceive, are currently in the midst of IVF, or are feeling worn down and frustrated from an eternity of trying to get or stay pregnant, this podcast is for you. You are not alone on this journey. Join the community, join the movement, join the ranks of motherhood. Join the FU Project.

05 Jun 2019 | EP14: So You Might Need an Egg Donor Soon? | 00:32:12
“If you’re willing to love your child unconditionally, then you are in a great space to accept the potential need for an egg donor one day.” - Episode 14 (15:52 - 16:04) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. No woman wants to hear a doctor recommend she use another woman’s eggs for pregnancy! It can feel defeating. However, the procedure is just one of the many opportunities available for you to have the family of your dreams! Open yourself to this as one possibility and change your mindset to determine whether you are ready to take the appropriate steps in choosing and using an egg donor.
Each and every child should be perceived as an energy that will someday transform into a physical body. Regardless of whether they are naturally conceived or not, their outward appearance, specific characteristics, and time of birth are beyond your control. Thankfully, you are able to control the amount of love you give whenever and however they do show up! You must be willing to love your child unconditionally in spite of this. Without a mindset of unconditional love, you will be unable to move forward as a successful parent, period! With this mindset, you can healthily continue your journey into motherhood and accept the possibility of using an egg donor. There are four steps you should take when choosing.
“I want you to remember you are a mom. You are going to be a mom.” - Episode 14 (3:06 - 3:14) At the end of the day, what your doctor says is not always absolute. It’s your call. If you do decide to use an egg donor, then be ready to share a magnificent story with your children of the search to grow a very special seed in Mommy’s belly. Stress how thankful you are they chose to show up and sprout at the exact time and way that they did. Let them know your love is unconditional. Regardless of the option you choose, your perfect child will come at the perfect time. Have faith and get ready to love them as they manifest into their spectacular uniqueness. With thanks & love, Tasha

21 Oct 2020 | EP38: How to Co-Collaborate with Your Fertility Doctor | 00:39:03
The relationship you have with your fertility doctor is really important. But most of the time, these “relationships” tend to be one sided, where you are expected to just sit and wait for the doctor to do their magic or for science to be on your side. Now, say this with me: For a relationship to be productive, it can’t be one sided.
When we think of doctors, we think of people whom we should just trust and expect to have the answers. Believing this prevents a lot of healthy dialogue from happening, especially when it comes to your fertility journey.
On this episode of The FU Project Podcast, I break down how you can create a balanced relationship with your fertility doctor by examining the current structure of doctor’s offices, what to look for in your visit and how to be your own advocate. Tune in to learn how to reclaim your confidence in the doctor’s office.

Meet Jessica.
Jessica and her husband thought IVF was the answer to their unexplained infertility woes. A doctor would take her eggs, combine them with his sperm, and POOF - a baby. They expected IVF to work on the first round (hint, it took 4 more rounds).
When Jessica found the FU Project Workshop, she was still skeptical about bringing in an additional team to help her and her husband on their fertility journey. In fact, she and her husband were the only two people that knew they were going through IVF for the first 2 rounds of treatment. It was an incredibly foreign concept to bring in additional support to assist them. After all, why would anyone need more assistance outside of the doctors and embryologists they are already working with? They’re the experts, aren’t they?
Join me this week for another inspiring story and find out where Jessica and her husband are today on their fertility journey.

07 Jul 2021 | EP68: Alternative Therapies That Heal with Rachel Cole, LCSW | 00:22:54
Have you ever wondered why animals, after constantly fighting to stay alive, are never traumatized? The whole animal kingdom would not be what it is today if this were the case. Like, Tom & Jerry would have been a completely different show. So why is it that animals never seem to internalize their trauma, but we humans do?
Animals, after tapping into that sympathetic nervous system and initiating the fight or flight response, make their way to a safe place and discharge all of that energy that was needed to get them to safety. Turns out, we humans also have this same capacity to discharge all of that generated energy after experiencing trauma. The only difference is either we haven’t figured out a way to release said energy or our bodies still detect a threat.
You’re probably like “Okay, great…then what do I do now?”
Enter Somatic Experiencing.
In this week's episode of The FU Project podcast, I interview Rachel Cole, a licensed Somatic Experiencing practitioner, and clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience. Tune in to find out everything you need to know about Somatic Experiencing and how to finally let go of trauma.

29 May 2019 | EP13: Do It or Skip It: Egg Preservation | 00:14:07
“You must pick the best lab before you ever consider Egg Preservation.” - Episode 14 (4:17 - 4:27) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Recently, on two separate occasions, I was approached by a middle-aged woman asking whether it was a good idea for her to freeze their eggs. I wasn’t surprised. The race to preserve unfertilized eggs is a growing trend amongst women protective over their shot at motherhood. However, there is much to consider before you invest thousands of dollars in Egg Preservation. Learn the facts to determine whether this is a good idea for you!
Understand the facts of Egg Preservation to assess whether it would be best for you to try or skip.
“One of the cons to egg preservation is you don’t really get a look at your ability to make embryos. You just get a look at your ability to make eggs.” - Episode 13 (12:56 - 13:15) Egg Preservation is a great option for just about every woman, even those with cancer. If you’re about to undergo intensive treatment, then I’d highly suggest checking out the Chick Mission. They are a non-profit organization that helps cancer patients ensure their fertility future. Otherwise, I can’t stress enough how important it is for you to have the right clinic for Egg Preservation. The only con is the procedure itself doesn’t tell you more than your ability to produce eggs. Listen back to my last edition of “Do It or Skip It” on Episode 9 to review a list of options available. As long as you educate yourself on all your options, and understand all the facts, you have the power to choose the best path to motherhood. With thanks & love, Tasha

10 Jul 2019 | EP18: Creating Lives and Laws with Chick Mission’s Amanda Rice | 00:44:28
“This isn’t about politics. This is about policies that will really help women and couples to build the families of their dreams.” - Episode 18 (30:36 - 30:53) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
This was the topic for my latest episode of the FU Project podcast. You can listen here. Amanda Rice has caused some great commotion in the legislative branch of the U.S. Federal government. For good reason! Did you know that most healthcare insurance companies deny coverage for cancer patient’s fertility preservation? This social advocate and three-time cancer survivor is on a mission (a Chick Mission to be precise) to reverse this! Through her nonprofit organization, Amanda advises, educates, and fundraises to overcome the many barriers young cancer patients face. There’s plenty of work to be done, and you can help! “Between 95-97% of cancer patients diagnosed as young adults, survive. What does life look like after you have this battle, crush and beat cancer? What’s next? Can they not have a biological family?” - Episode 18 (6:12 - 6:38)
There is a limited amount of information and resources available to young cancer patients who dream of motherhood. Let’s create a conversation to get the facts straight!
Fertility Options. The ugly truth is a woman can become sterile after undergoing various drug therapies and cancer treatments. But there is hope! If you’re really running out of time, you have the opportunity today to manipulate your cycle and freeze your eggs. Reach out to a fertility specialist or head to ASCO, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, to see what is recommended. Cancer Lingo. There are so many factors that could affect a young cancer patient’s fertility. A specific diagnosis of the type and location of cancer, whether it is estrogen or progesterone related, etc. will lead to a recommended plan of attack. This could include medication, chemotherapy, or radiation far away or precisely to the reproductive organs. It’s important to understand your specific case and risk profile before jumping in. Limited Healthcare Coverage. While Amanda was able to fund her own egg preservation without coverage, she knew others wouldn’t be able to. It was out of this frustration that Chick Mission was hatched. Though the nonprofit is still fairly new, it has already funded 27 women in 4 different states and changed 6 state laws. The most recent win was the newly passed New York state budget. Thanks to Gov. Cuomo insurance companies are now mandated to cover cancer patients’ fertility preservation. It’s a huge step, and Amanda looks forward to expanding the same mission into Texas and California.
There are three ways you can get involved and aid Amanda’s mission!
If you are a young adult currently diagnosed with cancer, and wondering what’s next, then take heart. You have so many fertility options available to you! Use your voice to ask questions and advocate your needs. Whatever this journey brings, we’ll face it together.
With thanks & love, Tasha

24 Mar 2021 | EP57: How I Recently Dealt with Immense Stress | 00:31:46
I recently had one of the hardest weeks of my life this past December. I was working double time so that I could feel prepared to take a week off for the holidays (that’s already stressful at any point in the year), but then my husband was diagnosed with covid and my dad was dying from covid all at the same time.
Stress, whether acute or traumatic, has affected us all. We learn that stress is bad for our body and mind, but we rarely learn healthy tactics to combat it while we are in the trenches.
When we don’t practice emotional wellness during stressful times, we end up suppressing our emotions entirely, wrongly lashing out at another person who doesn’t deserve it or we seek “comfort” in areas that provide that instant gratification that hurts us in the long run.
Sound familiar? We’ve all been there.
Thankfully, during one of my most stressful weeks of my life, I had strategies that helped me understand and process my emotions and experiences so that I didn’t crumble to pieces all day, every day (note: I did breakdown, naturally, I’m human. But it could have been much worse).
On this episode of the FU Project, I go over strategies for handling immense stress that don’t involve pushing past and ignoring your emotions. Tune in for actionable ways to get in tune with your reality and emotions in order to handle stressful situations, like your fertility journey, better.

13 Mar 2019 | EP2: The One Thing I Dread Telling Clients (and no, it’s not that I can't show you how to get pregnant) | 00:18:50
“I know that immediately, I might lose my client, but I must tell people when I feel that their resources are going to be wasted.” Tasha Blasi (3:05) The IVF Uncovered Podcast
Loyalty is an excellent quality until it's not.
When women are on their fertility journey, the idea of changing doctors or clinics can be scary and uncomfortable.
I hate to hear clients say, “But I love my doctor!” It is my responsibility to research the doctor in question to be sure that they have the stats and the skill to get clients pregnant - and when they don't, that means a very difficult conversation is in order.
There are a lot of factors that go into which fertility clinic a mom-to-be chooses, not the least of which is emotional comfort, familiarity, and the hassles that could come with going elsewhere.
First, is there anything I myself can fix? This usually means protocols to recommend.
Second, is the client willing, emotionally and financially, to commit to 3 more egg retrievals at the clinic? In my view, each new clinic gets 2 rounds of IVF before judgment. However, if the results of the second round do not exceed those of the first, it's time to cut ties. If it hasn't happened at this point, it's not going to happen.
As my clients wrestle with these questions, they are given an exercise that lends a little clarity to the decision at hand. The point of this exercise is to get out of your own way where changing labs is concerned. Women and their partners can do this by recognizing what stands in the way of a successful round of IVF.
The other question at hand, for those who have already bought a bundle of retrievals and transfers is this, if you canceled right now, how much of your money would you get back? The typical answer is half. If you got half of your money back, look at it as an investment in the right choice of clinics for your fertility journey.
Finally, my clients must also consider the question of results. If you stay where you are now and get the same results, or worse, would you leave after the next time? If so, you need to be done at that clinic.
