In this episode, we discuss pop psychology and self-awareness, while also talking about the impact of different ideologies on Muslims today. While Islam encourages seeking help when necessary, it is crucial to differentiate between pop psychology and genuine psychological principles.

14 Mar 2023Love in Islam Q&A w/ Dr. Tamara Gray | Islamic feelings00:42:27

23 Jun 2023Rewards Of Remembrance | EP 2 | Islamic Feelings 00:31:01
Moving mountains through ministrations, Dhikr is not just words. It is how one remembers God and subconsciously moves oneself onto the righteous path. The remembrance of God reverberates throughout Islamic history, from the tongues of the prophets to those of the common man. The remembrance of God echoed when Musa (A.S) split the sea, echoed when Hajar ran between mountains, and echoes when the common man today succumbs to ministrations. Tawakkul is the blind trust in Allah, a trust that Dhikr helps build. Copywriting: Isbah Studios Resources: Life with Allah - Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “To declare the glory of Allah, the praise of Allah, the oneness of Allah, and the greatness of Allah is more beloved to me than anything over which the sun rises.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2695

21 May 2023why are we tested? | Quranic Reflection Takeover Ep By Anse Dr. Farhana Yunus 00:28:29
"Why are we tested?" "What is the purpose of this test?" "How does creating a relationship with the Quran exactly help me in my tests?" These are questions that cross our minds when we face hardships. We know Allah is there to help us, we know we are rewarded, and we know the Quran is our guidance through difficulty. However, for some reason, the burden of hardship continues to overwhelm us. To discuss this important topic, I have teamed up with Anse Dr. Farhana Yunus from Rabata for this takeover episode. She sheds light on why we are tested and how we can find comfort in such painful trials. ☆☆☆☆☆☆ This episode is sponsored by Rabata. If you enjoyed this Quranic Reflection, join Anse Farhana this summer for a course on the tafsir of Surahs Saba', Ibrahīm, Al-Hajj, An-Nahl, and Fātir. 30 Dec 2023let's talk: unhealthy resolutions, loving yourself, hardships & more00:26:10
Assalamu’alaikum everyone! I hope you're all doing well. It's been a while since we've connected, and I've missed our conversations. Today, I wanted to take some time to delve into a few topics that I believe are important for us all. As we step into this new year, I find it crucial to address the concept of New Year's resolutions. Often, we set these ambitious goals, but some resolutions can unknowingly lead us down paths of stress or unattainable expectations. So, let's talk about steering away from unhealthy resolutions and instead focus on nurturing a sense of peace within ourselves and our homes. My hope is that this episode resonates with you, offering guidance and insight as we embark on this new chapter. Here's to a year filled with growth, self-reflection, and building our inner peace. May this be a stepping stone toward a more fulfilling and enriching life for each one of us. Thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me.

This week's episode takes a more structured approach as I delve into the random life lessons I've gathered over the past year. Whether it's a shift in our long-term goals or a deeper understanding of the people around us, these experiences can be our greatest teachers. - Ali bin Abi Talib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Gabriel, upon him be peace, said to me: O Muhammad, love whom you wish for you will surely part with them, act as you wish for you will surely see its results, and live as you wish for you will surely die.” The Prophet said, “Gabriel had been concise with me in his discourse.” Source: Ḥilyat al-Awliyā’ 3/202

19 Oct 2023"my last words for you..." | islamic feelings00:27:45
Many of us carry with us the weight of unspoken words, the "could haves" and "should haves" that linger in the corridors of our minds. These unspoken sentiments often haunt us, pulling us into a perpetual loop of regret and missed opportunities. It's a shared human experience, one that touches us all. However, it's essential to recognize that dwelling on these unexpressed feelings isn't conducive to our well-being, nor is it encouraged. In this episode, I took to Instagram with a purpose – to invite my followers to share their last words for someone they love but can no longer convey those feelings to. This situation isn't unique; it might be a loved one who has passed away, a friend who has moved on, or circumstances that have created an unbridgeable gap. The responses poured in, each one carrying profound emotions and untold stories. Regret often stems from our silence, from the moments we held back our love, appreciation, or forgiveness. By reaching out and sharing our heartfelt words, we can find a sense of closure and peace. Through these heartfelt messages shared by my followers, I hope you can find solace and comfort. They serve as a reminder that it's never too late to express your love, gratitude, or apologies to those who matter most in your life. In doing so, we free ourselves from the burden of unsaid words, finding a path toward healing and inner peace.
14 Jan 20235 tips on how to overcome feeling sad after making the right decision | islamic feelings01:01:01
making the right decision doesn't always mean it's easy. making the right decision doesn't always mean it will make you happy at first. at some moments in life, you will be required to make decisions that won't necessarily make you happy even if they are right. what's important to remember is that our right decisions today protect the security of our future happiness to come. you won't always get the fruits of your seed in a day, but if you continue to take care of it.. you eventually will.. our decisions are the same, you won't always feel happy about the right choice, but you will years later ♡ ---this episode is sponsored by Rabata. 08 Sep 2023practical tips: let go & let God | islamic feelings00:04:04

we all love Allah. we try our best to seek knowledge to better understand Him & this deen.. but love is always tested when things get hard, so how exactly does it look like to love Allah in difficulty? ♡ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Verily Allah ta’ala has said: ‘Whosoever shows enmity to a wali (friend) of Mine, then I have declared war against him. And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to me with nafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge (Hadith 38, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi)

10 Jun 2022becoming a better muslim: EP3: pathway of suffering, spiritual sickness, love & hatred + more01:06:46
as I grow older one of the things I've noticed is that humans tend to hate the things they have to let go because gracefully leaving what you love can be painful. often people mask their pain through hatred to make it easier to let go of what they love. hate is & always will be easier than love yet hate is never easier on one's self. hate is nothing more than a distraction from your healing. hate blinds you into thinking you've progressed as a human, when you've only chosen to get numb to what you truly feel. My new podcast episode covers exactly that, how the pathway to less suffering sometimes requires more suffering & how to avoid the suffering turning you into a bitter & hateful being.

Dhul Hijjah is home to the best ten days of the year, as highlighted in the beautiful hadith: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No good deeds can be done at a time better than these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” It was said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah.” Source: al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr 10307 ☆ As Muslims, we should take the opportunity to maximize our good deeds and voluntary acts in these beloved days. One of the best ways to do this is by letting go of bad habits and sins for the sake of Allah. This short reminder delves exactly into that.

19 Mar 2025The Unbreakable Bond with Allah | Islamic Feelings00:35:04

This episode takes a heartfelt journey into strengthening our bond with Allah—not just in the sacred moments of Ramadan, but in every breath and step beyond it. As the days pass and the spiritual high of Ramadan fluctuates, how do we keep our hearts anchored in His remembrance? How do we nurture a love so deep that it withstands the tests of time, trials, and distractions?

This episode is a reflection on trust, surrender, and the unbreakable mercy that holds us even in our weakest moments.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His book with Him upon the Throne: Verily, My mercy prevails over My wrath.”

28 Jul 2023overcoming insecurities, building confidence, hijab tips + more | islamic feelings00:43:47
This particular episode has been one of the most highly requested ones I've had so far. Discussing insecurities is never an easy topic, and as individuals strive to become better and more modest Muslims, each journey should lead to a destination. Throughout this process, it's common to experience moments of insecurity and a fading sense of confidence, particularly when one's appearance sets them apart as a Muslim. Not to mention, confidence is a positive quality valued in Islam. The belief in Allah's mercy, guidance, and support can instill a sense of confidence in a Muslim's life. Moreover, Islam promotes humility, which is different from low self-confidence. Muslims are encouraged to be humble and acknowledge that all their strengths and achievements come from Allah's blessings. This understanding prevents arrogance and helps maintain a balanced sense of confidence. Insecurities may arise from societal pressures and stereotypes that some Muslims face. Negative portrayals of Muslims in the media can contribute to feelings of insecurity and alienation. Additionally, misconceptions about Islam and the fear of being judged or misunderstood by others can create internal struggles for some individuals. This episode delves precisely into this matter. - Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Islam began as something strange and will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers." Source: Sahih Muslim 145 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim.

My new series " presents of paradise" is filled with real stories that were collected by an alim in a book during his years of studies through different shaykhs & more. this series is filled with stories that share how the worst situation ends up becoming the best ones.. from a woman nearly selling her body for wealth, a man falsely being blamed for a crime and realizing the truth behind his three kids, a man who's sadqah saved him under water & how the birth of unwanted blind child was a form of God's greatest mercy for his parents, this series is filled with beautiful heart moving REAL incidents. Maalik ibn Dinaar said “Stories are the presents of Jannah".. with that being said, I hope you enjoy these presents just as much as i did ♡

17 Jun 2023Decoding Dhikr | EP 1 | Islamic Feelings00:22:33
Moving mountains through ministrations, Dhikr is not just words. It is how one remembers God and subconsciously moves oneself onto the righteous path. The remembrance of God reverberates throughout Islamic history, from the tongues of the prophets to those of the common man. The remembrance of God echoed when Musa (A.S) split the sea, echoed when Hajar ran between mountains, and echoes when the common man today succumbs to ministrations. Tawakkul is the blind trust in Allah, a trust that Dhikr helps build. - Copywriting: Isbah Studios Resources: Life with Allah - Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “To declare the glory of Allah, the praise of Allah, the oneness of Allah, and the greatness of Allah is more beloved to me than anything over which the sun rises.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2695
27 Jun 2023Mental Ministrations | EP 3 | Islamic Feelings00:30:18
Moving mountains through ministrations, Dhikr is not just words. It is how one remembers God and subconsciously moves oneself onto the righteous path. The remembrance of God reverberates throughout Islamic history, from the tongues of the prophets to those of the common man. The remembrance of God echoed when Musa (A.S) split the sea, echoed when Hajar ran between mountains, and echoes when the common man today succumbs to ministrations. Tawakkul is the blind trust in Allah, a trust that Dhikr helps build. - A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “Which warriors are the best?” He ﷺ replied: “Those who remember Allah the most.” The man asked: “Which of those who fast are the best?” He ﷺ replied: “Those who remember Allah the most.” Then the man mentioned ṣalāh, zakāh and ḥajj, and each time the Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied: “Those who remember Allah the most.” Abū Bakr (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) said to ʿUmar (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu): “Those who remember (Allah) have taken all the good,” at which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remarked: “Yes, indeed!” (Aḥmad 15553)

15 Feb 2022dealing with healing humiliation | islamic feelings00:49:27
healing isn't for the weak so the weak won't understand. healing makes an individual appear broken on the outside while trying hard to become whole on the inside. people won't tell you what it actually takes to heal. they will share a superficial method on how they healed to avoid being honest about the fact that majority of the time their days ended in tears and distress. waking up on a random Wednesday and crying 3 months later after you thought you were over it isn't fun, having people call you sensitive and crying everyday isn't fun. healing isn't fun. it is scary. But it's worth it everytime.. This episode is focused on just that 💞
28 Oct 2022tawakkul: Your protector & Your helper | islamic feelings00:55:25
tawakkul (trust) is a big part of our faith as muslims. & while alot of us keep tawakkul in Allah SWT when things are going good, it's equivalently important, if not more, to keep firm & stronger tawakkul in Allah when things don't go your way. One of the big questions I ask myself everytime things don't go my way is "do I want to do this, or do I want God to do this".. and any person, who has even the slightest tawakkul will agree that letting God handle your affairs is the best choice. While we make our decisions on our limited knowledge, God makes it on his infinite. Accepting qadr & having faith in trying times isn't easy, especially when anxiety & fear is in the picture. so this ep is here to cover exactly that :)☆ Link in bio for my socials & more ☆
17 Sep 2022Presents of paradise EP 3- a valuable story on overcoming shaytan | islamic feelings00:07:49
Intention is something we always hear about. Not to mention, it's something alot of us struggle with. So this episode is a story that presents a beautiful example of how the same action can have a different outcome simply due to the intention. ♡“And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide for him from sources he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things.” (65:2-3) ☆playlists with episodes in order can be found in the link on my page :)
08 Aug 2022disloyalty: cheaters,scattering yourself among people,loyalty to our unloyal desires|islamicfeelings00:30:48
disloyalty has become increasingly normalized as a trait to be proud of since it makes one "strong" or "alpha", yet disloyalty only reveals the incapability of developing meaningful relationships. The one who cant be loyal to people is loyal to his desires & our desires are never loyal to us. This ep also talks about how there's no doubt that the effort & actions we put forth attract people to love & appreciate us more.. but an honest question that arises is "do the people in your life love you for you, or for what you can provide".
