Christopher joins Shannon to talk about his encounters as a child in his Grandparents home, with what is commonly referred to as a Hatman. The accoutrements of this Hatman were very distinct, but Christopher never saw his face. It was always looking at him from behind the wardrobe... From MicahAckerman.com: The Hat Man is a shadow person that has been reported all over the world. The entity is usually described as a tall shadow man dressed in a long black trench coat and wearing a wide brimmed hat or a fedora. He is distinctively male and witnesses say that he has no face or a shadowy blurred face. Most shadow entities are usually seen for a moment or two before disappearing, but the Hat Man seems to be different often staying for a prolonged period of time and sometimes he even touches, chokes or assaults his victims. Another aspect of the Hat Man that is eerie and more sinister than other shadow people is that the Hat Man is often associated with hostile environments, aggression and is sometimes an indicator that something evil will happen.

From Adam: If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time it should be abundantly clear that I am , in fact, a skeptic when it comes to much of the banter that revolves around the subject of Sasquatch. I certainly don’t think I am unreasonable when it comes to the specific topics fueling this less than trusting attitude. If you’ve not read much of the (note; if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all...) ridiculousness, nonsense, conjecture surrounding the creature that is Sasquatch, you really are doing yourself a disservice. This stuff gets good. There’s no need for me to re-hash that here (I’ve written extensively about it here and here) Let’s just say, nothing is surprising anymore. However, with all of that being said, I don’t always like my skeptical nature… This particular post is much less science in tone and much more personal, so please forgive the slight detour from my normal subject matter. On this episode of iNTO THE FRAY, the team discusses the recent sub-launched missile and the discrepancies reported, depending on the witness. And a mask made with real human teeth produced by our own Mister-Sam Shearon. We then move to my interview with Steve Stockton. He is the author of Strange Things in the Woods, and More Strange Things in the Woods. Steve and I pick our favorites from each book to discuss. It's an evening of truly creepy tales and paranormal personal experiences. One of the scary stories I chose happened to Steve's Uncle! He is a fantastic collector and teller of stories and Steve admits "while it's marvelous to be surrounded by nature, there is also a "creep factor" involved. There are weird things to be found in the woods, many of which truly defy any rational explanation." I myself can completely agree with that statement. When I was a teen I had a very strange occurrence in the woods of Utah. It changed my view of things completely and got me started on this "odd" path in life. I re-tell that experience tonight with Steve.

Our latest inquiries into Sasquatch takes us on this episode to Carter County, KY. I had the opportunity to travel there while I was still living in Ohio. Researcher Ramona Bell also met me there, where we stayed at a family’s home, deep in a seemingly very active area of KY. They have had reports of tracks, screams, tree knocks, shakes and sightings. My guest Tabatha also tells of her childhood encounter in the very same house we visited. Kentucky has a long history of sightings and reported incidents, ranging from fleeting glimpses to full on aggressiveness on display.

Massive, prehistoric creatures that still exist in the deepest parts of the ocean? In truth, we know astonishingly little about our worlds oceans. Max Hawthorne studies and writes about what giants may be lurking beneath the waves. We talk about a number of very interesting and credible accounts, even one had by a number of people in 2014, from the deck of a Carnival Cruise line. Kerry Arnold of the Bigfoot Odyssey documentaries and YouTube show joins me to talk Sasquatch. He tells in entirety, the extremely frightening Bigfoot encounter he had back in 2006, on a hunting property in Mississippi. Episode 28 takes us to Massachusetts and the infamous Bridgewater Triangle. It is 200 square miles of woods and swamps, rife with sightings of large snakes, wolves, UFO's, Bigfoot, Ghostly Apparitions, Cattle Mutilations and even ritualistic murders. Could an Indian curse be behind all of it? I discuss all these phenomena and more with my guest, Mykull. Not only does he live just outside the triangle, but he investigates many of the various reports. At one point, they were even warned off by what we might classify as the Men In Black. Shannon speaks to Asian hominid researcher, Daniel Antal. He lives in Thailand, and since 2008 has been conducting his own private investigations and expeditions into unknown hominids that may still inhabit remote regions of the Asian continent. Steve and Sysco both have their own personal experiences that are unexplained to this day. These tales go back to when they were both young. Their upbringings were very different, but these encounters changed their perception of the world around them, and keeps them looking to this day. We talk superstitions about calendars, dew poisoning, hats and thunderstorms, empathic abilities, Ouija Boards, vampires, missing people and time, Robert Guffey's books, tarot cards and a few personal stories from both Steve and Sysco. Steve shares about things he's experienced including a disappearing child, his own black-eyed kids encounter in the 90's, a haunting by someone who isn't dead, and a creepy cheerleaders in the graveyard tale.

iNTO THE RANDOM: Volume One. I had no real options for a title other than that, as not only do Sam, Ryan and I talk various things including a UFO landing site in Hawaii, witches getting their revenge on a rapist, Ryan's recent UFO sighting on his way to Hawaii and Psychomanteum's...(thanks, Gabriel!) But I then speak to Donny, who lived in a haunted house just outside Boston where they used a Ouija board to encourage a spirit to connect, and it did. Donny also saw a phantom three-legged cat that he knew when it was alive. We then have a discussion about the activity centered around his baby daughter in he and his wife's current home. It's a random one.

It is time to begin what will be iTF's many brushes with true crime. What makes these people so different than you and I? Is it brain chemistry, learned responses? Whatever it may be, we find them fascinating and disturbing. Sam Shearon, Ryan Sprague and I first discuss Sam's experiences playing Dracula. Then we chat about New York ComicCon, and a little about Ryan's play," East in Red". Shannon then interviews Author and Investigative Journalist Robert Sberna, who authored the book: House of Horrors, The Shocking True Story of Anthony Sowell The Cleveland Strangler. Robert spoke to the surviving victims, their families and even Anthony Sowell himself. Anthony was arrested in October 2009 as a suspect in the murders of eleven women whose bodies were discovered at his Cleveland, Ohio, duplex at 12205 Imperial Avenue in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood. Sowell was even a decorated Marine, and during his seven-year Marine Corps career, Corporal Sowell received a Good Conduct Medal with one service star, a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, a Certificate of Commendation, a Meritorious Mast, and two Letters of Appreciation.

A man grew up hunting in the woods outside Augusta, GA. He has encountered Bigfoot twice in his time in the bush. The second incident, changed his life and his desire to be in the woods. He also stuck around after the Bigfoot story to tell of a woman that haunted his childhood home. When the kitchen she died in was remodeled into his bedroom, physical attacks began.

iTF 21 takes us to the state of Maine to talk about Sasquatch. I speak to Daniel S. Green, author of Shadows in the Woods: A Chronicle of Bigfoot in Maine. Maine has a very long history of Sasquatch sightings in the state, from mountain tops to people's property near towns. In our intro segment, Sam, Ryan and I discuss bodies found buried at Stonehenge, a giant beaver witnessed in Maine, and even an 18 inch Bigfoot (yes, inches) as told in old reports from the state.

John Patrick Addis was a state trooper, crime scene investigator, bush pilot, ex-convict, UFO fanatic, survivalist-and a pro at manipulating women. His criminal madness stretched from Alaska to Mexico-leaving countless victims in his wake. Sgt. Jim McCann and John Addis worked together as detectives for the Alaska State Police in the 1970s, and at the time, he was married to his first wife, who later divorced him because of domestic abuse. The couple lived in a cabin in the remote woods that didn't have running water or heat. Addis enjoyed hunting caribous in the Alaskan wilderness, but he was also a talented young detective with a mind for forensic science, and he was so gifted that he instructed law enforcement from all over Alaska in crime scene analysis. Then one day, Addis got into an argument with his wife, and she said she wanted to leave him, so she jumped out of their car. He soon began chasing her, but she was able to escape and soon was granted a divorce. After the divorce, Addis quickly re-married and his personality turned from bad to worse. He abandoned his wilderness lifestyle and became a middle class homemaker, and soon quit his job at the state patrol. Then, he abducted his four children from his first marriage and fled to Michigan, where he was involved in several robberies. He was eventually arrested and served one year in prison for parental child abduction. Over the next decade, he jumped parole in Alaska and went throughout the United States posing as a fitness instructor, screen writer, and novelist. He was a master at changing his identity, which helped him keep above the law. I speak to Glenn Puit. The author of 'Ghost: The True Story of One Man's Descent into Madness and Murder.' He is an investigative journalist and was a lead reporter for the Las Vegas Review-Journal for twelve years, where he covered violent crime and capital murder trials.

As legend has it, the infants' angry spirits have taken hold of the lake over the past centuries.
