#Backlinks have a big impact on search engine rankings, according to 58% of #SEO pros surveyed for u SERP’s The State of Backlinks in 2021 report.
Many content marketers, though, find link-building to be a challenging task. If you fall into that category or are just looking for a refresher on legitimate link-building tactics, I’ve got you covered.
3 types of links
First, let’s look at the three categories of legitimate links:
● #Backlink: An external website links back to one of your content assets (i.e., blog post, infographic) or your general site.
● Internal link: One page on your site includes a link to another page on your site. (Internal links are not as valuable as external links, but they help Google understand your site’s structure, which can be helpful for #SEO. They also are crucial for on-site engagement and decreased bounce rates.)
● External link: A page on your site includes a link to a relevant third-party site. (In the fledgling years of #backlinking, relevancy didn’t matter, but it does now.) Your external links count as #backlinks for third-party sites.
Follow vs. no-follow
Not all links are created equal. Just like internal and external links have different effects, follow and no-follow links connect to external content but are wildly different in terms of what they do for your #SEO.
● Follow links are legitimate external or internal links to your website – exactly what you want in your backlinking efforts.
● No-follow links are applied on the back end with the code, rel=“nofollow”. You can see it in the linking URL. That little piece of code tells search engines not to follow the link – meaning that the linked page won’t receive any direct benefits from this link.
Why would a website use no-follow links?
● Untrusted content: Most no-follow links are designed to protect the publishing website. For example, it’s common practice on sites where the comments section allows users to post links because those links could connect to spammy or abusive content, which the site doesn’t support.
● Links that don’t need to be crawled: As Google crawls (indexes) your site, it evaluates the following links. If your site includes links to pages that have nothing to do with search (think password-protected sections), you don’t want Google to waste its limited time crawling those pages. A no-follow is important to include.
● Paid links: Google and other search engines go a long way to ensure that #SEO isn’t a pay-to-play game. Thus, if a site is paid to include a link, the link should be classified as no-follow.

Customer success is a proactive, real-time sales approach consisting of building relationships with existing customers, understanding in depth their company and product goals, and helping the customer meet those goals through day-to-day contact. This concept of customer success is apparent and implemented earlier more in start-up companies compared to big corporations. Advantages of a company’s focus on this concept are an increased base of customer loyalty, increased customer retention, and improved brand awareness.
Here are a few ways your company can focus on customer success!
First, you must know your audience; identify and understand who your company plans to target as a customer. Without this vital step, your company will struggle a great deal in many different aspects such as marketing and advertising; this will deter customers from staying loyal to your brand.
Second: talk to your customer base. Get feedback and be willing to take advice. This will broaden your understanding of what your customers like, dislike, and what improvements they would like to see in the future.
Third, create a variety of customer journey maps to better gage the steps your buyers make when interacting with your company. Begin with how they were introduced to the business, how they became an opportunity lead, how you communicated with them; and finish off with how they eventually became a customer.
Fourth, intertwined with their journeys, make sure their introduction to the product and company is optimized to emphasize the best parts of each.
Fifth, make sure you have a metric to which to measure/define your customer success, whether it is sales, customer retention, customer loyalty, reviews, etc.
Sixth, introduce the use of customer success tools to help facilitate, organize, and define customer success.
Finally and most importantly, continue talking with the customers following the process of them becoming happy and satisfied buyers. This level of personalization goes a long way in allowing the customer to feel as if your company truly cares and values their loyalty; this will give a bigger boost against any other competitors your company may have.
All in all, customer success lies in the forming of dependable bonds with your potential customers as well as strengthening these bonds after the fact to create a devout sense of loyalty among all your buyers.

You obviously want to grab readers and reel them in with a strong subject line, maybe with a cliffhanger or a sale, but you don't want to be pushy. Do not use all caps, and be careful when using exclamation points, it will seem spammy. When readers see all caps or a ton of exclamation points, it will immediately be flagged as spam in their heads, so be careful. Keep it short and sweet. People, don't have much time, and they won't want to spend ten minutes reading out a novel you wrote for your #email. It will save you time, and they're more likely to read all the #content if you keep it short and sweet. Keep it personal, but professional. Remember, you're talking with an individual. You want to make it seem like you're not just some homogenous entity that is reaching out to them. Keep it personal and friendly, but keep it professional. Don't forget the preheader. Remember in addition to the subject line, there is also a little bit of sample text that's there to show the readers a little snippet of what's in your #email, and you want to make sure that's up to snuff as well. 1. Decide on a platform that you wish to promote the products or services.
2. Choose your niche. This can be a specific topic you’d like to focus on or even something you feel most comfortable talking about.
3. Find affiliate programs that suit your chosen niche.
4. Create some amazing content. Humans are visual beings, which means they first buy with their eyes and from there decide if they actually want to purchase it.
5. Drive traffic to your affiliate site by constantly advertising it on your social media.
6. Get clicks on your affiliate site by referring potential customers to the website using your affiliate code.
7. Convert those clicks into sales!
Here are some reasons why you should consider a career in affiliate marketing:
1. It’s easy to start. All you need to do is follow the 7 steps I mentioned earlier on.

The second area is the factor of resource consumption. And this list wouldn’t be complete without a VPN suggestion. A VPN is basically a virtual private network that creates a secure network where you can avoid interference and censorship. Some countries censor many websites and using ExpressVPN can be very beneficial.
