Rachel Goldberg is the mother of Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a 23-year-old American citizen from South Florida, who was kidnapped by terrorists at the Supernova Dance Festival. This incident was part of a larger attack that claimed 1,200 lives in northwestern Israel. Hersh was among 250 individuals taken hostage in Gaza following this tragic event.
Rachel has been actively involved in media campaigns and public speaking to advocate for her son's release and highlight the suffering of hostages. She has spoken to Pope Francis, President Joe Biden, Elon Musk and more important figures.
As she waits, she davens to Hashem and does more and more every day to get her son back home.

Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau, born on June 1, 1937, in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland, is a prominent Jewish religious leader and Holocaust survivor. At a young age, he survived the Buchenwald concentration camp, an experience that profoundly influenced his life and work. After immigrating to Israel in 1945, Rabbi Lau dedicated himself to religious studies and rabbinical leadership.
He was appointed as the Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv in 1985, a position he held with distinction. In 1993, Rabbi Lau reached a pinnacle of religious leadership by becoming the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel, a role he served until 2003. His tenure was marked by efforts to bridge gaps between secular and religious communities in Israel and to promote Jewish unity.
Rabbi Lau's legacy is one of resilience, spiritual leadership, and commitment to the Jewish people and their heritage.

| 27 May 2023 | Rivka Ravitz: Why The Pope & President Biden Bowed to This Frum Mother | 01:22:18 | |
Rivka is an Israeli Haredi political administrator. Since 1999, she has worked for Israeli politician Reuven Rivlin, first as his bureau chief and campaign adviser, and, since his election as President of Israel in 2014, as his chief of staff. She has received extensive media coverage for being a frum mother of 12 in a high-profile political position.
Ravitz considers her high-profile position an opportunity to display her religious commitment and make a Kiddush Hashem (sanctification of God's name). She wears modest clothing, and covers her hair with a wig. She does not fraternize with male colleagues or participate in "staff-consolidation days", and refrains from shaking hands when greeting men, in keeping with halacha.
During Rivlin's 2015 visit to the Vatican, a photograph showing Pope Francis bowing to Ravitz. Despite it being a high profile visit, the Pope had bowed to her in respect of her religious resilience.
During Rivlin's visit to the United States towards the end of his term, President Biden kneeled before Ravitz upon hearing that she is a mother of 12 children.
She has incredible stories with Putin, Wonder Woman and other high profile kings, queens and leaders of the world.

Rabbi Menachem Penner is the Max and Marion Grill Dean of Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University where he has the privilege to inspire and train the rabbis of tomorrow. Rabbi Penner served as the spiritual leader of the Young Israel of Holliswood in Queens for 20 years and is now the Rabbi Emeritus. He continues to teach, focusing on Tanach, Tefillah and Machshavah, in communities worldwide. He received his semicha from RIETS and is proud to serve the institution from which he received his formative education. Rebbetzin Adeena Penner is the Director of Kesher Families, a new organization supporting families of an individual who identifies as LGBTQ. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in psychology from Stern College for Women and a Masters’ Degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University. She worked for fifteen years in the field of occupational therapy at the Board of Education of New York, the Chush School in Williamsburg, and Camp HASC. Yossi Toiv, known professionally as Country Yossi, and his best friend Heshy Walfish are American Orthodox Jewish composers, singers, radio show hosts, authors, and magazine publishers.
Country Yossi is by nature a composer and singer in the Jewish music genre and Heshy is the music playing and logistics manager. Toiv to his credit three albums as members of the group Or Chodosh ("New Light") circa 1971–73, and together they have seven albums under the name Country Yossi and the Shteeble Hoppers, and a series of six albums for children called Kivi and Tuki.
They also released "Country Yossi's Classic Calls" a humorous collection of actual on-air phone calls to his radio show.
Their journey is quite a tale and the way the two used each of their talents to work together is inspiring.

Meilech Kohn, originally named Elimeilech Kohn, grew up in a Satmar family residing in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He is the first cousin of renowned singer Lipa Schmeltzer.
Although he initially distanced himself from the Hasidic community of his upbringing, he later returned to it during his adult years. This personal journey is reflected in his music, which encompasses a diverse range of influences such as Techno music, Mediterranean pop, hints of trip-hop, and the melodic tapestry woven from a life enriched by travel, attentive listening, and emotional vulnerability.
In 2016, he achieved unexpected success with his popular song "VeUhavata," propelling him from relative obscurity to fame.
Meilech has been homeless, divorced, and running away from his community for many years and his story of teshuva is one of a kind.

Moishe (Mark) Bane became president of the Orthodox Union in January 2017. Mr. Bane is a senior partner and chairman of the Business Restructuring department at the International law firm of Ropes & Gray. Much of his time, however, has been dedicated to service within the American Orthodox community.
Past positions that Mr. Bane has held in the Orthodox Union include chairman of the OU’s Board of Governors, chairman of the OU Advocacy arm, and national chairman of NCSY.
In addition to involvement in an array of non-OU kiruv and educational endeavors, Mr. Bane has written and lectured extensively and is a founding editor of Klal Perspectives, a journal addressing contemporary public policy issues within the American Orthodox community.

Rabbi Zecharia Wallerstein ZTL was the founder of Ohr Yitzchak, Ateres Naava Seminary for Girls, and Ohr Naava Women's Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Ohr Naava is a unique program designed for women ages 17 through 120 who are interested in furthering their Torah experience. The program, which was under the leadership of Rabbi Wallerstein, started out as a Wednesday evening class in a small classroom known as a "Chabura." It brought together girls who had just returned from studying in Israel, college students who needed a weekly moment of inspiration, and most of all, Jews of different backgrounds with one common goal, to grow and change. The signature of Ohr Naava is to provide a multitude of programs, absolutely free of charge, for women wishing to make the time to grow, change and further their Torah knowledge. While Ohr Naava’s staff is ensuring that all programming remains in place, it was Rabbi Wallerstein who fundraised its multi-million dollar budget each year. His passing leaves us with the communal responsibility to ensure that Ohr Naava remains solvent, perpetuating the legacy of a man who saw the potential in each girl, treating everyone like a daughter. Omar Pryce got involved with Los Angeles gangs when he was young. His mother, originally from Sri Lanka, divorced his Jamaican father and remarried a white man, which made Pryce struggle with his identity. To find acceptance, Pryce turned to groups like the Crips and Bloods gangs. However, this acceptance came at a price. Pryce worked as a mercenary for the gangs, trafficking drugs, ammunition, and more. His criminal activities eventually led him in California's notorious Pelican Bay State Prison as an adult.During his time in prison, Pryce had a transformative experience. He discovered Judaism. He also met his wife while he was in prison. Through miracles, he got out and is living life as a Torah Jew with his family.

At the age of 3, Yakov Horowitz lost his father. After many years of teaching, he wrote a 4,500 word essay in The Jewish Observer titled “An Ounce of Prevention” on the subject of at-risk teens in the community. The article shocked the Orthodox community and led to an invitation to address the 1996 National Conventions of Agudath Israel of America and Torah Umesorah. It also led to the founding of Project Y.E.S. in 1997, which he is the director. In 1997, Horowitz founded Yeshiva Darchei Noam of Monsey, a child-centered yeshiva, and published Bright Beginnings Chumash and Gemara workbooks that are currently used in over 100 schools. He authored two books on chinuch and parenting and is a regular columnist for The Jewish Press and Mispacha on topics including mental health, social problems, internet usage and child safety. In partnership with ArtScroll, he published a groundbreaking child safety book "Let's Stay Safe,” that is in over 130,000 homes in 3 languages. Horowitz uses social media to warn about sex offenders within the Jewish community and how to avoid them. His father, a Chaim Berliner and close talmud of Sher Yoshiv's Rav Shlomo Freifeld, started a Yeshiva called Shalom Rav for all kinds of boys. Everyone was invited. Avshi went on his own path and traveled to America until September 11, 2001 when his life drastically changed. Today, he is the Rosh HaYeshiva of Shalom Rav and is one of the most well-respected educators and torah teachers in Tzfas and the world.

Her family practiced Hasidic Judaism, but because her mother was darker than the rest of the family, she faced discrimination and didn't practice the religion. Sara always felt a strong desire to connect with her Jewish roots. After a trip to New York City, Sara decided to move there to pursue her dream of intertwining her body, soul, and mind with Judaism. Sapir Cohen and her boyfriend Sasha were kidnapped on October 7th. Today, Sasha is still in captivity. Sapir was brought by terrorists into Gaza on a motorcycle, brought to the tunnels and was living the unimaginable.
Although she wasn't a very religious person, she found herself praying and saw a few miracles occur. She was kidnapped for 55 days and even met the infamous Hamas leader, Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar, better known as Yahya Sinwar, who is a Palestinian monster who has been leader of Hamas within the Gaza Strip since 2017. This is Sapir's story.

He is a renowned “vocal powerhouse” and gained popularity soon after he began releasing his albums in 2007. However, the debut of his celebrated “Thank You Hashem” gripped the attention of Jewish music fans worldwide. Beri’s music emanates fresh energy in soulful, creative singing. His unique style, inspired by mystical Chassidus, aims to motivate and elevate fans around the globe. Beri began his singing career at age nine. He sang alongside popular musical artists including MBD, Moshe Goldman, and Mendy Werdyger and later joined the Shira Choir. Beri names Shlomo Carlebach and MBD as his major musical influences and was immersed in their music throughout his childhood. Beri draws his musical inspiration from the teachings of R’ Nachman of Breslev and enjoys exploring the Rebbe’s views on the spirituality of music with Reb Lazer Brody, Reb Motta Frank and Reb Itche Mier Morgenstern of Jerusalem. Rudy Israel Rochman, born on September 6, 1993, is a notable Jewish-Israeli rights activist recognized for his dedication to enhancing Jewish identity, combating anti-Semitism, and fostering collective unity within Israel.
Rochman's military service in the Israel Defense Forces includes roles in the 98th Paratroopers Division, the 35th Paratroopers Brigade, and the 55th Paratroopers Brigade. He has participated in several key conflicts, such as the Gaza–Israel conflict, the 2012 Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip, and the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.
His activism has not been without peril; Rochman was kidnapped in Nigeria during his quest to connect with the lost tribes of the Jewish people. His escape and survival are considered remarkable.
Our conversation with Rudy Rochman delves into his passionate efforts to fight anti-Semitism globally and on campuses, his experiences in Gaza, and his dedicated pursuit of identifying and supporting lost Jewish communities worldwide.

Aliza Bulow is the founder and director of Core, an organization that connects Jewish women and strengthens Jewish homes and communities. In addition, she travels regularly to offer guidance, leadership training and strategic planning for Jewish Outreach organizations and Jewish communities throughout the continent. Born to activist parents in the 1960’s, Aliza's community building began early as her upbringing was intensely impacted by her parents’ deep commitment to the civil rights movement. Her own activism took root during her early high school years in the fight for freedom for Soviet Jews. Her passion for Judaism and the Jewish people then took her to Israel where she studied for 2 years at Michlelet Bruria and Hebrew University. With a growing desire to build and contribute, Aliza explored various avenues to serve the State of Israel and finally chose to enlist in the Israeli Defense Forces from 1982-1984, during the first Lebanon war. She served in the Nachal Unit with a religious group that was dedicated to building communities in the Land of Israel. Though her dream was to stay in Israel, her soul mate was in law school in America. She married Ephraim Bulow after he graduated, and then they traveled to Russia to visit refusniks before setting up their own home in Long Beach, NY. We discuss: being a giyorit, working in the army, raising a child with autism, life after her son's suicide, her marriage, starting Core and so much more. Beatie Deutsch is the Israeli national champion in the marathon and half marathon. As a mother of five young children, she has learned to apply her training to the real marathon of life. Beatie took up running just four years ago and recently went pro with the goal of qualifying for Tokyo 2020 and representing Israel in the Olympics. More than anything else, her journey has empowered her to dream big and keep pushing, a message Beatie is passionate about sharing with other women.
Mrs. Deutsch is someone who has "given it all up" in order to keep Shabbos. In this episode she talks about the beauty of tznius and more. She's worked with adidas, nike and more.
