Damien Dessagne is the CEO of Embers, developer of Strayed Lights (2023) and Maxime Philipp is the project's game Director. I discovered Strayed Lights at PAX East 2023. 30 May 202272: Kyle T. Johnson | Thunderful Games01:20:25

Kyle T. Johnson is the Sales Manager at Thunderful Games, a games distribution and development company based in Sweden. I met Kyle at PAX East 2022 and he agreed to come on the podcast and discuss publisher/developer relations, and what Thunderful Games is all about. Many indie devs do not understand the benefits to acquiring a publisher, so this episode is designed to educate.

I am a huge fan of Thunderful Games. I have interviewed a few people who have made games published by Thunderful, including Alexandra Dahlberg, Gabe Miller, Daniel Wagner, and Oliver Ulrich for the games Lost In Random, Firegirl, White Shadows, and Say No! More, respectively.

I hope you find value in this episode. As stated before, my only goal here is to educate my listeners (and myself).

17 Feb 202239: Matthew Pusti | Makeup And Vanity Set | Trackless01:48:17

Matthew Pusti, aka Makeup And Vanity Set, is a composer of podcasts, films, video games, and more. I interviewed the developer of Trackless which was scored by MAVS, so I reached out to the compser for an interview. I have been a fan of his since I first heard his work in the Atlanta Monster podcast. MAVS has also scored Overpass and Bouncy Smash, both of which I played and enjoyed very much. This is part 2 of 2 of IGI's second "video game score composer week."

In this episode we will discuss red flags to look out for when being offered a composing gig, the psychology of a name, avoiding burnout, the psychology and stigma behind working as an artist, and much more.
