Jeremy Cobb is the Co-host/Resident Dungeon Master (DM) for Three Black Halflings, where he DMed the hit  series Outlaws & Obelisks set in a homebrew world I created. His name  is Jeremy Cobb, but many people call me many other things. If you want to hear some of those things, come listen to Three Black Halflings because I say a different one every episode.”

He’s also a professional DM and #TTRPG player whose credits include Wizards of the Coast, D&D in a Castle, NADDPod, and many more.

Jasper William Cartwright received an Acting BA Hons, at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He made his professional theatre debut in The National Theatre’s touring production of War Horse playing Billy Narracott. Next Jasper played the role of Michael/Bertie in the adaptation of Michael Morpurgo’s novel The Butterfly Lion at the Barn Theatre. After which Jasper went on to perform in opera first playing Puck in Midsummer Night at the Nevill Holt Opera before playing Jonathan in the Duncan House at the Tête-à-tête Festival in Camden. Jasper co-founded a film company 94 Film and works as a writer/director.

This week we got to chat with the fantastic Heather Greene is Film & Witch scholar who works as a freelance editor, writer, and journalist in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her work has been published at Religion News Service, Religion Unplugged, The Washington Post, Patheos.com, Circle Magazine, and the Parliament of the World Religions online magazine. I have also written for Turner Classic Movies, Saddleback SEO, Sybex Publications, and Lady Liberty League to name a few.

Her first book Bell, Book, and Camera: A Critical History of Witches in American Film and Television was released in Spring 2018. She has since revised it and updated the book which is out now for all to read with the new spiffy title Lights, Camera, Witchcraft: A Critical History of Witches in American Film and Television.

For you serious witch scholars out there -  this book looks back at how we have interacted as a culture with witches & pagan imagery from the early motion pictures era to the present day!

Booher grew up in a small Ohio town reading Stephen King, watching The Goonies, eating Lucky Charms in front of He-Man, trading Garbage Pail Kids, playing Nintendo, and going outside. Channeling his love for all the best 1980’s sci-fi and fantasy, he has co-created and written comic series CANTO, POWERLESS, the LGBTQ-led KILLER QUEENS, ALIEN BOUNTY HUNTER, RAIN, ALL NEW FIREFLY, and the middle grade series TALES OF LAKE EERIE. He's also written several features. A lawyer by training, he lives in Los Angeles with his husband and the true masterminds behind their operation--their adopted greyhounds.

We discuss lots of Stephen King, adapting writing between mediums and cover THE BLACK PHONE (2022) starring Ethan Hawke & based on a story by one of Booher's collaborators - JOE HILL

Recently Tarik performed in the critically acclaimed Freestyle Love Supreme at the Kennedy Center and at The Booth Theater, in the Broadway run in NYC (2021) - and he hopped in for a weekend as a very special guest of the cast on their final leg of their tour at the Pasadena Playhouse - where Teri roped him into this interview!

In early 2017, Tarik shot a six-minute comedic horror short entitled Page One along with his brothers Don P. Hooper, LeMar McLean and producer Evan Kaufman . This short is based on a full length horror / comedy script that Tarik has been working on for the past 10 years. Tarik also has and continues to write multiple shorts, sketches, monologues and articles which have been published in print and online.

We finally got Julia to dive into the Predator universe with Tarik's iconic choice of Predator 2 (1987) starring the great Danny Glover. We discuss the alternate casting that could've drastically changed this movie and so much more!

DANIEL KRAUS is a New York Times bestselling writer of novels, TV, and film. His collaboration with legendary filmmaker George A. Romero, The Living Dead, was acclaimed by The New York Times and The Washington Post.

With Guillermo del Toro, he co-authored The Shape of Water, based on the same idea the two created for the Oscar-winning film. Also with del Toro, Kraus co-authored Trollhunters, which was adapted into the Emmy-winning Netflix series. Kraus’s The Death and Life of Zebulon Finch was named one of Entertainment Weekly‘s Top 10 Books of the Year.
