DNA IGG Against Kohberger Is SOLID, But Did Police Legally Obtain It?
Is your DNA data helping to catch killers—or is it a privacy nightmare waiting to happen?

With investigative genetic genealogy cracking cold cases and leading to alleged suspects like Bryan Kohberger and the Golden State Killer, the moral and ethical debates are heating up. Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins the conversation to explore the psychological impact of using personal genetic data in criminal investigations. Should consent be a requirement, or is the pursuit of justice more important than privacy? What happens when families discover their DNA helped nab an alleged murderer? And where do we draw the line—should this tech be reserved for violent crimes, or will we be solving parking violations with a cheek swab next?

08 Feb 2025Dead Wife No Problem For Carlos Mercado. Time for a Beer Run! 00:12:08
The death of a 39-year-old mother of three, Autumn Ray Christiansen Mercado, has raised suspicions in West Jordan, a southern suburb of Salt Lake City. While police have yet to file charges in connection with her death, her husband, Carlos Mercado, is now facing legal consequences for his actions after the fact.

On January 13, 2025, Autumn Mercado was found deceased at the bottom of the stairs in her home on Iron Core Lane. Police were called for a welfare check after a coworker reported not being able to contact her for an extended period of time. Authorities were informed that Mercado had a history of domestic violence.

When officers arrived at the residence, they immediately found signs of foul play. Carlos Mercado, 47, was taken into custody for questioning after he reportedly answered the door and claimed he had just been about to call police. However, officers found multiple open alcohol containers in the house, and Mercado appeared intoxicated, struggling to maintain his balance.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Mercado told police that he and his wife had been drinking the night before and that he fell asleep around 4 or 5 a.m. Upon waking up the next morning, Mercado allegedly thought his wife was simply asleep at the foot of the stairs. He claimed he tried to wake her but was unable to, covered her with a blanket, and then went out to buy more beer, leaving the couple’s two young children, aged 1 and 4, alone at the house.

The affidavit also noted that Mercado's wife showed signs of rigor mortis, indicating she had been deceased for hours before he reportedly discovered her body. Surveillance footage from a nearby gas station showed Mercado shopping approximately an hour after he claimed to have noticed his wife’s body.

Carlos Mercado now faces charges for one count of failure to report a death and two counts of child abandonment. The couple’s children are now in safe custody, according to West Jordan Police Sgt. Andrew Hercules. The investigation into Autumn Mercado's death continues, as authorities look deeper into the circumstances surrounding her tragic passing.

07 Feb 2025Could Diddy Go Free If A Fan Is On The Jury?00:11:01
Did the empire of Sean "Diddy" Combs build itself, or was it carefully constructed on a foundation of fear, control, and the silencing of voices? With new superseding indictments and a flood of alleged victims stepping forward, the walls may finally be closing in. But what happens when the money that once protected him starts running dry? Tony Brueski and Defense Attorney Bob Motta break down the chilling legal maneuvers at play, the potential freezing of assets, and whether more victims will feel emboldened to speak out. Will the legacy of power and intimidation be enough to keep him untouchable, or is this the beginning of the end? And when the time comes to seat a jury, will his influence still be enough to tip the scales?

07 Feb 2025Unmasking Ruby Franke FBI Expert Robin Dreeke Breaks Down Shari Franke Memoir00:17:26
Was family vlogging ever really about family—or was it just another way to cash in on childhood innocence? Ruby Franke, once the face of the popular YouTube channel Eight Passengers, crafted a wholesome image of family life—one that, according to her daughter, Sherry Franke, was a carefully curated front hiding something far darker. In her new memoir, The House of My Mother: A Daughter’s Quest for Freedom, Sherry pulls back the curtain on the alleged abuse and control that shaped her upbringing, exposing the chilling reality behind the perfectly edited videos.

But Ruby wasn’t operating alone. Her husband, Kevin Franke, played his own role—one that raises serious questions about willful ignorance and blind loyalty. How does a father just step away from his family under the guise of “self-improvement” while another woman steps in to assume control? And what does it say when his return to reality comes with zero accountability? Retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke joins the discussion, breaking down the psychological manipulation at play and the disturbing influence of Jodi Hildebrandt, the so-called therapist who only amplified Ruby’s obsession with control.

As more former child influencers come forward about their experiences, the question remains—how many more kids are still trapped in this modern-day nightmare of parental exploitation disguised as entertainment?

10 Feb 2025Will New Diddy Charges Enable Bigger Names To Speak Out Against Diddy?00:09:40
Why do people stay in toxic environments when they could just walk away? Is it the allure of power, money, or celebrity status? In this episode, psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to break down the psychology of those who willingly orbit alleged abusers—knowing full well that something isn’t right but sticking around anyway. From bystanders who enabled disturbing behavior to those now claiming moral outrage, the conversation digs into the uncomfortable truth about how people rationalize the absurd. Is it fear? Desensitization? Or were some of them complicit all along? And in a world where wealth and influence can blur ethical lines, are we just rewarding the worst behavior?

How Did So Many 'Look The Other Way' To Diddy's Clear Criminal Behavior?
Did everyone really not know, or did they just not want to know? When you’re rubbing elbows with a powerful figure accused of horrifying abuses, is it ignorance, self-preservation, or something far more sinister that keeps people silent?

As more lawsuits emerge against Sean "Diddy" Combs, the conversation shifts from just his alleged actions to the enablers who stood by, turned a blind eye, or even benefited from their association with him. Tony Brueski sits down with psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott to explore the psychology behind complicity—why people who claim to have morals suddenly develop selective blindness when money, fame, and influence are on the line.

Were these industry insiders genuinely clueless, or did they just decide that the price of speaking up wasn’t worth it? From fear of retaliation to blatant career advancement, the music industry has a long history of protecting its golden geese at any cost. But with the window of silence closing, will anyone with real knowledge finally step forward? Or will they all just hope the storm passes while pretending they never saw a thing?

12 Feb 2025Why Was There No Death Investigation In The Case Of Ellen Greenberg?00:12:11
How does someone stab themselves 20 times—postmortem?

That’s the question at the center of the baffling, gut-punch of a case surrounding Ellen Greenberg. The 27-year-old teacher was found dead in her Philly apartment in 2011 with more stab wounds than an overenthusiastic slasher flick, yet the official ruling somehow bounced from homicide to suicide, and now… maybe not suicide? Medical examiners, law enforcement, and officials seem to be playing a twisted game of hot potato with the truth, while Ellen’s parents have been fighting tooth and nail for justice.

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to break down the psychological toll of a case like this—not just on the family, but on anyone trying to make sense of the inexplicable. From the ex-fiancé’s bizarre 911 call to the crime scene getting scrubbed cleaner than a hospital room overnight, the red flags here are flapping in hurricane-force winds. Why did officials push the suicide narrative so hard? And more importantly—who benefits from keeping this case buried?

13 Feb 2025Ellen Greenberg Didn't Kill Herself, So WHAT Happened?00:30:25
Could a person really stab themselves 20 times, including post-mortem wounds, and call it suicide? That’s the mind-bending official ruling in the case of Ellen Greenberg—a 27-year-old teacher from Philly who was found dead in her apartment in 2011. A decade later, the bizarre inconsistencies and shocking twists continue to pile up.

Despite overwhelming evidence that defies logic, Ellen’s death was labeled a suicide—after initially being ruled a homicide. Now, the medical examiner is backpedaling again, saying it was “something other than suicide,” but stopping short of calling it murder. So, what exactly does that leave? Death by spontaneous self-inflicted zombie wounds?

Shavaun Scott, psychotherapist and author, joins Tony Brueski to break down the emotional and psychological toll this nightmare has taken on Ellen’s family, who have been fighting tooth and nail for the truth. And with evidence tampered with, a crime scene scrubbed clean, and zero proper investigative procedures followed, the bigger question remains—who wanted this case buried so badly?

And maybe the most disturbing part—why does it seem like everyone outside of Ellen’s family just wanted people to look the other way?

14 Feb 2025Breaking Down The Ellen Greenberg 911 Call With Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott00:18:35
What kind of person walks into a room, finds their fiancée dead, and immediately blurts out, "She must have stabbed herself"? That’s the unsettling question at the heart of this bizarre 911 call. The distress is there, sure—but so are some oddly specific assumptions that don’t quite add up.

Tony Brueski and psychotherapist Shavaun Scott dissect this chilling call, where panic meets peculiar certainty. Why is the caller so quick to offer explanations before even assessing the scene? Could it just be shock, or something more calculated? And what’s with the strangely placed humor?

As investigators sift through the details, we’re left wondering: Is this an innocent man in distress or a guilty conscience slipping up in real-time?

What Kept Diddy's Crew Silent For So Many Years?
What happens when power, money, and silence collide? In the case of Sean "Diddy" Combs, the alleged crimes paint a picture of an industry that looked the other way—whether out of fear, self-preservation, or willful ignorance. How did so many people in his orbit, from music executives to fellow celebrities, fail to see—or at least acknowledge—what was happening? Were they protecting their own interests, or did they simply lack the integrity to speak out?

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to break down the psychology of enablers in high-profile abuse cases. From celebrity culture to fear-driven silence, we unpack why people ignored the red flags and how power continues to shield those at the top. And the real question—now that the floodgates are opening, will anyone finally speak up, or will silence win again?

6-Year-Old Daughter Found Buried in Backyard; Parents Find Themselves In Trouble
How does a child just vanish for nearly four years without anyone noticing? That’s the chilling question at the heart of this tragic case out of Rose Hill, Kansas. Authorities recently uncovered the remains of six-year-old Kennedy Schroer, who had been buried in a makeshift grave behind her adoptive parents’ home since 2020. The revelation came only after police responded to a mental health call at the residence—because nothing says “routine welfare check” like discovering a child’s body in the backyard.

Crystina and Joseph Schroer, the adoptive parents, continued to collect Medicaid payments for Kennedy long after her alleged murder, raising unsettling questions about how a system designed to protect children allowed her to disappear without a trace. How did no one—caseworkers, doctors, teachers, or even neighbors—notice that a child was missing? And more disturbingly, how many more kids have slipped through the cracks, lost in a system that prioritizes paperwork over people?

10 Feb 2025Will There Ever Be Enough Evidence In Ellen Greenberg Murder Case To Convict Someone?00:12:34
How does someone stab themselves 20 times—many in the back and the head—and call it a suicide? That’s the baffling question at the heart of Ellen Greenberg’s case, a 27-year-old schoolteacher whose 2011 death was first ruled a homicide before being inexplicably changed to suicide. Now, after 14 years of frustration and unanswered questions, fresh developments are forcing authorities to take another look.

From a medical examiner reversing their ruling to a bizarre settlement that compels the police to reopen the case, this tangled mess of a so-called investigation is finally being unraveled. And let’s not forget the doorman who, after years of being part of the official story, now says he wasn’t even there when the door was allegedly broken down. So, if the original “facts” of this case keep shifting, what exactly was the truth to begin with? And more importantly—who has been getting away with murder?

Even IF Diddy Is Found Innocent The Feds Could Take EVERYTHING He Owns
Was Diddy really channeling his inner Suge Knight, or is this just another chapter in a long list of shocking allegations? The latest superseding indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs is expanding the timeline of alleged criminal activity all the way back to 2004, bringing new victims and even more disturbing details to light—including an incident where a victim was allegedly dangled over a balcony.

Former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins Tony Brueski to break down the new charges, the introduction of RICO, and the government’s aggressive pursuit of Diddy’s assets before a conviction. Is civil forfeiture a necessary tool for justice, or just a legal loophole for the government to cash in? And if someone is later found not guilty, do they even have a shot at getting their stuff back? (Spoiler: Probably not.)

With more allegations surfacing and the stakes getting higher, how will this case unfold—and just how much of Diddy’s empire will be left standing when it’s all said and done?

Will Karen Read Defense Push Already Proven False Time-Stamp Cell Data In New Trial?
Did the defense just cook up a whole new recipe for reasonable doubt? When it comes to the Karen Read case, one of the biggest battles isn’t about witness testimony or forensic evidence—it’s about cold, hard data. Specifically, the kind of data that comes straight from the company that provides it. Yet somehow, that’s still up for debate in court.

In this episode, Tony Brueski and former felony prosecutor Eric Faddis break down how cell phone records—something that should be as clear as reading a clock—have become a point of confusion, misinterpretation, and possibly even manipulation. When the company behind the data says, “Here’s exactly what it means,” but the defense says, “Nah, we’ll go with our own version,” what happens to the truth? And more importantly, what happens when jurors can’t tell the difference between facts and smoke and mirrors?

If the strongest legal strategy is just throwing enough confusion at the wall to see what sticks, what does that say about the case itself?

13 Feb 2025Karen Read Confusion Still Lingers On Cell Phone Timestamp, Why?00:20:34
Was Karen Read really the one behind the wheel that night, or is there more to this case than meets the eye? The twists and turns of this legal rollercoaster keep coming, with new motions, shifting charges, and mounting allegations of investigative misconduct. As the retrial date looms in April 2025, defense attorneys are pushing to dismiss key charges, claiming the jury was more confused than decisive.

Former felony prosecutor Eric Faddis joins Tony Brueski to break down the chaos. Could a judge actually dismiss charges based on what the jury meant to say but didn’t? What about the new "dog bite" theory—was John O’Keefe attacked by a K9, or is that just a last-ditch defense play? And if another mistrial happens, how long can this case drag on before someone finally throws in the towel?

14 Feb 2025Why The Karen Read Defense And Prosecution Ignore The LIVING Evidence Of Chloe The Dog00:14:14
Was it really a dog bite, or is that just another wild theory being thrown into the chaos? The Karen Read case is shaping up to be a legal rollercoaster, and with a retrial set for April 2025, the twists just keep coming. Former prosecutor and defense attorney Eric Faddis joins Tony Brueski to dissect the latest developments—motions to eliminate charges, allegations of investigative misconduct, and the unusual legal question of whether a jury's intent can be reconsidered after the fact. 10 Feb 2025Will Diddy's Enablers Face Charges For Doing Sean Combs Bidding?00:09:07
Did Diddy take a page out of Suge Knight’s playbook, or is the alleged balcony-dangling just an eerie coincidence? The latest superseding indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs is stacking up like a high-stakes game of legal Jenga, and it’s starting to look like some of the people who once worked behind the scenes might now be flipping on him. With allegations of sex trafficking, coercion, and criminal enterprise swirling, the feds seem pretty confident they’ve built an ironclad case—but why haven’t we seen more arrests?

And then there’s that lingering connection to Tupac’s murder. While no charges have been filed against Diddy in relation to the rapper’s death, whispers and allegations refuse to fade, especially with Keefe D sitting in the hot seat. Could the past finally be catching up with him in more ways than one? If this case keeps expanding, could Diddy’s courtroom appearances outlast his entire music career?

10 Feb 2025What Really Happened To Ellen Greenberg Is Slowly Coming To Light As Alibis Crumble & Officials Tell The Truth00:14:52
What kind of investigator looks at 22 stab wounds—some after death—and still calls it a suicide? That’s the mystery we’re unraveling today in the baffling case of Ellen Greenberg. For 14 years, logic has been tossed out the window while officials stuck to a ruling that defies all reason. But now, finally, something has shifted: the very medical examiner who once deemed Ellen’s death a suicide has reversed course, admitting that the manner of death should be reconsidered.

Retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke joins us to dissect the investigative red flags, behavioral patterns, and the infuriating lack of action that allowed this case to sit unresolved for over a decade. From untested DNA and missing fingerprints to a complete failure to investigate possible suspects, the gaps in this case are as glaring as they are disturbing. Was this a colossal failure of the system, or was someone pulling the strings to ensure Ellen’s death remained classified as a suicide? And now that the truth is finally starting to crack through the surface—who’s about to be held accountable?

10 Feb 2025Kanye West Sparks Outrage, Claims He Owns His Wife, Defends Diddy with New Business Move00:13:12
Kanye West, now legally known as Ye, has once again ignited controversy with an unhinged spree of posts on X. In a series of all-caps rants, he made inflammatory comments about his wife, declared his superiority over other rappers, and even referred to himself as “Yaydolf Hitler.”

Among the most alarming statements was Ye’s claim that he “owns” his wife. The rapper, who is married to Bianca Censori, posted, “MY WIFE DEMORALIZES B——” before following it up with a disturbing assertion of control over her. The post immediately sparked backlash, with critics calling it misogynistic and further evidence of his increasingly erratic behavior.

Beyond his personal life, Ye also used his platform to voice support for his longtime friend Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently behind bars in Brooklyn facing federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. If convicted, Combs could spend the rest of his life in prison. Ye believes Diddy is being targeted unfairly and blasted celebrities for remaining silent on the case.

As a show of financial support, Ye announced the launch of a Sean John collaboration on his Yeezy.com platform. “@ Yeezy.com I’m selling the Sean John collaboration that me and my brother spoke about before they locked him up we splitting the profits 50/50,” he posted. The t-shirts feature the “Sean John” logo—once the branding of Diddy’s now-defunct fashion line.

Diddy’s legal troubles escalated in late 2023 after his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, filed a lawsuit accusing him of years of physical and sexual abuse. Though that case was settled, it unleashed a flood of additional lawsuits, leading to federal investigations and his subsequent arrest.

In his X posts, Ye implied that the charges against Diddy are racially motivated, suggesting that “they” are trying to make an example out of him. His exact target was left vague, but the implication was clear—Ye believes the criminal justice system is unjustly targeting his friend.

He continued by heaping praise on Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, even referring to himself as a Nazi. He also made it clear that he has no intention of walking back his comments, writing that he would never apologize for his antisemitism.  Ye’s posts also included attacks on Black people, homophobic slurs, misogynistic rants, and ableist language. The flood of hate speech has reignited public outrage, with many calling for his X account to be suspended once again.  Ye also came to the defense of Chris Brown, who was convicted in 2009 for the brutal assault of Rihanna and has faced multiple lawsuits for alleged abuse in the years since. “We all watched them try to cancel Chris Brown,” Ye wrote, framing Brown as a victim rather than an aggressor.

While his latest posts have only fueled further backlash, Ye remains defiant. His website continues to sell “WHITE LIVES MATTER” shirts alongside cryptic symbols and slogans, some of which appear to carry hidden or controversial meanings.

From his jail cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Diddy acknowledged Ye’s loyalty with a simple Instagram post: “Thank you to my brother, Ye.”

With his latest outbursts, Ye has once again positioned himself at the center of controversy, deepening concerns over his behavior while reaffirming his willingness to defy public opinion—no matter the cost.

10 Feb 2025Doubt Cast on Lucy Letby Convictions as Experts Challenge Insulin Poisoning Claims00:16:42
A major new study challenges key evidence used to convict Lucy Letby, the former nurse serving 15 whole-life sentences for the murder and attempted murder of infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital. The report, authored by international experts, states that there is "no scientific justification whatsoever" for the claim that Letby deliberately poisoned babies with insulin and highlights a "very strong level of reasonable doubt" about her convictions.

Professor Geoff Chase, a world-leading expert on insulin’s effects on pre-term babies, said it was "very unlikely" that lethal doses were administered, contradicting the prosecution’s case. The trial hinged on blood test results showing low blood sugar, high insulin, and low C-peptide levels. However, a detailed review of the babies’ medical records by experts in neonatology and bioengineering found that the data was "inconsistent" with insulin poisoning.

The Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) is now formally reviewing the case after a panel of 14 experts found no evidence of murder or deliberate harm. Senior Conservative MP (member of parliament) Sir David Davis has called the case "one of the major injustices of modern times."

During Letby’s trial, prosecutor Nick Johnson KC (kings court) told jurors the nurse "undoubtedly" poisoned two infants eight months apart by adding synthetic insulin to their feeding bags. However, the 100-page study, authored by Chase and chemical engineering expert Helen Shannon, points out that low blood sugar is "not uncommon" in premature infants. The babies also lacked symptoms typically associated with insulin poisoning, such as seizures or heart arrhythmia.

The report, citing over 250 peer-reviewed papers, criticizes the reliability of the immunoassay test used to detect insulin. Shannon stated, "There is no scientific justification whatsoever for the prosecution’s claim that there was 'no doubt that these were poisonings.'" She argued that a more forensic test should have been used.

The insulin charges were crucial to Letby’s conviction, as they were considered the strongest evidence of deliberate harm. Letby’s defense lawyer, Benjamin Myers KC, told jurors he could not dispute the test results because the original blood samples had been disposed of.

A CPS spokesperson defended the verdicts, stating, "Two juries and three appeal court judges have reviewed a multitude of different strands of evidence against Lucy Letby." The Court of Appeal also rejected her request for an appeal in May 2024.

With the CCRC now reviewing the case, the new expert findings raise serious concerns about the reliability of the medical evidence presented at trial.

10 Feb 2025Signs Of A Cover-Up or Incompetence, Breaking Down The Ellen Greenberg Case With Ret. Agent FBI Coffindaffer00:36:36
Was Ellen Greenberg the victim of a tragic suicide, or is there something much darker at play? For 14 years, her parents have fought tooth and nail against a narrative that never quite added up. Now, in a shocking twist, a medical examiner has walked back their ruling—again. First, it was a homicide. Then, a suicide. Now? "Unknown, but not suicide." That’s not exactly comforting, is it?

And just when you think this case couldn’t get messier, let’s talk about the security guard, a locked-door mystery, and a fiancé with some very convenient connections. Oh, and did we mention that a crime scene cleanup crew was called in before law enforcement even got a proper warrant? Because that totally makes sense… if you're trying to erase something.

Meanwhile, Ellen's digital devices mysteriously vanished into the hands of a prominent judge—who just so happens to be her fiancé’s uncle. Coincidence? The Greenbergs don't think so, and honestly, neither do we. With mounting pressure and new revelations, will justice finally be served, or will this case remain buried under layers of corruption and Christmas decorations?

11 Feb 2025There Is No Evidence Of Suicide In The Ellen Greenberg Case, Why Won't Anyone Change The Ruling?00:10:36
Could a meeting behind closed doors really change the course of justice? That seems to be the case in the baffling and deeply frustrating story of Ellen Greenberg. One minute, a medical examiner was sure her death was a homicide. Then, after a mysterious discussion with law enforcement, the ruling flipped to suicide. Now, years later, he's changing his mind—again. But how does someone with stab wounds to the spine, aorta, and even post-mortem injuries manage to inflict them on themselves? Zombie logic? Or something far more sinister?

Adding another layer to this mess, the so-called "investigation" saw crime scene cleanup crews rush in before a proper search was conducted. And if that wasn’t suspicious enough, Ellen’s fiancé allegedly called his uncle—a prominent ethics judge—who then conveniently took all of her digital devices from the scene. Because nothing screams "totally normal" like whisking away potential evidence before authorities even have a chance to take a look.

Now, with a civil suit forcing evidence into the light and experts refusing to buy the official story, Ellen’s parents are closer than ever to uncovering the truth. But will the system finally admit to its failures, or will this case stay buried under bureaucratic nonsense?

Breaking Down The Ellen Greenberg Timeline With Ret FBI Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer
How do you call 911 about your fiancée’s death and somehow sound like you’re learning about it in real-time? That’s just one of the many bizarre questions surrounding this case. From an allegedly locked apartment door that somehow wasn't broken into, to a fiancée who seemingly discovers key details about the crime while on the phone with emergency dispatchers, nothing here adds up. And let’s not forget the conveniently timed 40-minute call with a judge uncle who then swoops in and collects all the digital devices. Just legal advice, or something more? With so much alleged incompetence (or something worse) muddying the waters, will the truth ever come out, or has this case been contaminated beyond repair?

Josh Shapiro Continues To Lie About Evidence In Ellen Greenberg Case
How does a case like this get shoved onto a dusty shelf—literally under Christmas decorations—and left to rot? That’s the question haunting the investigation into the alleged suicide of Ellen Greenberg. With multiple medical examiners now questioning the original ruling, one has to wonder: did anyone actually investigate this case, or did they just shuffle paperwork and hope no one would notice?

Tony Brueski and retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer break down the baffling inconsistencies, from bruises and hemorrhages that scream foul play to the mind-boggling idea that someone could stab themselves repeatedly—then decide to switch knives. And let’s not forget the ever-changing position of the body at the scene. With officials dodging responsibility like it’s an Olympic sport, the real question remains: will this case finally get the justice it deserves, or will it be buried under another pile of seasonal décor?

Will Anyone Ever Be Charged For The Murder Of Ellen Greenberg?
How does a woman stab herself 20 times—including post-mortem—and call it suicide? That's the million-dollar question in the baffling case of Ellen Greenberg. After 14 years of her parents refusing to back down, the case has finally cracked open with a major revelation: a medical examiner has walked back their ruling. But why now? And more importantly, why was it changed in the first place?

Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins to break down the disturbing inconsistencies, from a shady meeting that allegedly led to the ruling flip-flop, to a crime scene that was scrubbed clean before investigators could take a proper look. Add in a fiancé who allegedly called in his ethics-judge uncle to grab all of Ellen’s digital devices, and you’ve got a case that reeks of something far more sinister than suicide.

Now that the investigation has been reopened, will Ellen finally get justice? Or is this just another chapter in a cover-up that refuses to be exposed?

13 Feb 2025Indiana Drops Charges Against Couple Despite Firepit Bones And Missing Kids!00:11:19
Prosecutors in Indiana have dropped murder charges against Steven Valle, 31, and Samantha Sebella, 25, who were accused of killing two children and burning their bodies in a backyard firepit. The couple was previously facing charges of murder, neglect of a dependent causing death, abuse of a corpse, and failure to report a dead body. However, the Jasper County Prosecutor's Office filed a motion to dismiss the charges on Wednesday, and a judge granted the request without prejudice, meaning the case could be refiled later.

Jasper County Prosecutor Jacob Taulman explained that part of the reason for the dismissal was to allow anthropologists to continue analyzing ashes, debris, and other materials found in the firepit. He described the process as challenging due to the small size of the evidence. Prosecutors are also reviewing digital data from phones and other devices in connection with the case.

“We do intend to seek justice in this manner,” Taulman said.

Valle’s attorney, however, argued that the charges should not be reinstated, stating that there was no evidence to suggest a crime occurred. He expressed hope that the dismissal would bring an end to the matter.

The investigation began on Sept. 20 when a friend of the couple contacted authorities after Valle allegedly confessed, saying, "I killed my two kids." Valle reportedly told the friend that the children had been smothered and drowned, and their bodies burned in the firepit at their home.

The deceased children, referred to as "undocumented," were reportedly never given any official documentation. Authorities later found Valle and Sebella at a hotel in Newton County. They denied involvement, but investigators seized their phones as evidence, and a third undocumented child was removed from their custody.

On Sept. 30, investigators, including law enforcement and cadaver dogs, searched the couple's former residence in Wheatfield, where they found bone fragments in three locations. Tests confirmed that the fragments were human.

Further investigation revealed text messages between Valle and Sebella that seemed to suggest their involvement in the children's deaths. Sebella allegedly referred to Valle as a “baby killer,” and the texts also included references to the children's DNA being preserved in Sebella's body. Investigators also found a "Baby Center" app on Sebella's phone documenting her pregnancies.

During questioning, Valle reportedly admitted that Sebella had given birth to a boy in 2018, but the child was found dead when he arrived home. Valle claimed he cleaned and wrapped the boy in a blanket, then buried him in the backyard. He also described a second child, a premature girl who he said died shortly after birth. The children were allegedly buried for several years before Valle reportedly exhumed their bodies and burned them in the firepit. He later kept some of the ashes as a memento.

While charges have been dismissed for now, authorities have indicated that the investigation will continue as they work to piece together evidence in the case.

10 Feb 2025Will Anyone Be Charged In The Murder Of Ellen Greenberg?00:16:17
How does a 27-year-old woman stab herself 20 times, including 10 times in the back of the neck, and still have the strength to drive a knife into her own chest? The answer is simple: she doesn’t.
Yet, despite overwhelming forensic contradictions, the death of Ellen Greenberg was ruled a suicide after an initial homicide ruling was mysteriously reversed behind closed doors. The inconsistencies in this case are staggering:

No real forced entry—but Sam Goldberg claimed he broke down the door to get inside.
The doorman never saw him kick in the door, even though Sam swore he did.
Blood evidence shows Ellen was moved after she died, contradicting Sam’s account.
Her stab wounds included at least one inflicted post-mortem, meaning she was already dead when it happened.
There were no hesitation wounds or defensive marks—highly unusual for a suicide.
The knife was never tested for DNA or fingerprints.
And the latest developments?

The Philadelphia Medical Examiner has reopened the case after admitting "errors" in the suicide ruling.
New forensic experts have publicly declared that the official cause of death is scientifically impossible.
A civil trial is moving forward, bringing officials who were involved in the original ruling under legal scrutiny.
Today, we’re taking a deep dive into every inconsistency, every forensic impossibility, and every unanswered question in the Ellen Greenberg case. Why was her death classified as a suicide? What does the new evidence reveal? And what will it take to finally get justice for Ellen?

11 Feb 2025Former Stoughton Officer Faces Court Hearing in Murder Case of Pregnant Woman Sandra Birchmore00:09:18
A former Stoughton, Massachusetts, police detective charged with murdering a pregnant woman appeared in a brief court hearing on Monday as both sides continued reviewing evidence. Matthew Farwell, 38, was indicted in August 2024 for the death of 23-year-old Sandra Birchmore, who was found dead in her Canton apartment on February 4, 2021.

Birchmore, who was three months pregnant, was allegedly killed to prevent authorities from uncovering Farwell’s long-term sexual exploitation of her. Prosecutors say Farwell first met Birchmore when she was a child in the Stoughton Police Department’s Youth Explorers Program. By the time she was 15 and he was a 27-year-old officer, authorities allege he had begun an inappropriate sexual relationship with her that continued into adulthood.

According to investigators, Birchmore told Farwell in December 2020 that he was the father of her unborn child, at which point he became aggressive. Court documents allege that he put her in a headlock and told her he wished she were dead.

Monday’s hearing focused on the ongoing discovery process. Farwell was not required to appear in court. Outside the courthouse, Birchmore’s supporters gathered in protest and spoke to the media.

“It’s been a long time coming, and I hope that Sandra finally gets justice—hopefully this year,” said Birchmore’s cousin, Barbara Wright. “I define justice as seeing Matthew go behind bars for the rest of his life.”

Prosecutors argue that Farwell staged Birchmore’s death to look like a suicide. The indictment claims he acted to prevent authorities from uncovering his criminal behavior, which allegedly included engaging in sex acts with Birchmore while on duty. Farwell has pleaded not guilty.

An internal affairs investigation revealed that Birchmore first encountered Farwell at age 13 through the Stoughton Explorers Program. Investigators say he used his position as a police officer to groom, exploit, and abuse her, continuing the relationship into her adulthood. While on duty, Farwell allegedly falsified records to claim he was working when he was actually with Birchmore.

In late January 2021—just a week before Birchmore’s death—a friend of hers contacted the Stoughton Police Department and mentioned Farwell’s sexual involvement with her. When Farwell learned of the inquiry, investigators say he sent Birchmore angry messages and visited her apartment, requesting a spare key and urging her to keep it secret.

Federal authorities allege that, in the days leading up to her death, Farwell searched Birchmore’s home, including her closets and bathroom, before ultimately killing her. Her death was initially ruled a suicide, but federal investigators later uncovered new evidence that led to Farwell’s indictment.

Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara has strongly condemned Farwell’s alleged actions, calling them “the single worst act of not just professional misconduct but indeed human indecency that I have observed in a nearly three-decade career in law enforcement.”

“As I have stated previously, Sandra Birchmore received no justice during her life. It is imperative that justice be served in her death, and today’s actions appear to bring our society one step closer to justice,” McNamara said in a statement.

11 Feb 2025Ellen Greenberg’s Family Secures Reopened Investigation as Forensic Expert Suggests Staged Crime Scene00:22:13
The long-debated case of Ellen Greenberg is gaining renewed attention after a forensic expert hired by her family suggested that her 2011 death was staged to appear as a suicide. Dr. Wayne Ross, a forensic neuropathologist, told NewsNation’s Brian Entin that he believes Greenberg was strangled before being stabbed 20 times.

“To a reasonable degree of medical certainty, she was strangled,” Ross said. “Yeah, I would testify in the court of law.”

Greenberg, a 27-year-old teacher, was found dead in her Philadelphia apartment by her fiancé, Sam Goldberg. She had suffered 20 stab wounds, including 10 to the back of her neck. Initially, Philadelphia Medical Examiner Marlon Osbourne ruled her death a homicide, but that determination was later changed to suicide after police questioned the findings.

The family has long fought against the suicide ruling, believing crucial evidence was overlooked. One of the most concerning pieces of evidence, Ross pointed out, is a towel placed near Greenberg’s body that was clean despite the excessive amount of blood at the scene. He sees this as clear evidence that the scene may have been manipulated.

“There are also bruises on her wrists and legs that suggest a struggle, as well as conflicting blood splatter patterns,” Ross noted.

The case has drawn national scrutiny, with experts and the public questioning how a person could inflict such severe wounds on themselves. Recently, Osbourne, the medical examiner who first ruled Greenberg’s death a homicide, released a legal verification stating that he now believes the suicide ruling is inaccurate.

In a significant development, Greenberg’s family reached a settlement agreement with Philadelphia officials to reopen the investigation. The new inquiry offers a glimmer of hope for her parents, who have spent over a decade fighting for justice.

Her father, Josh Greenberg, has been vocal about his suspicions, stating that he believes his daughter was strangled before being stabbed.

The case has also placed scrutiny on Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, who was Philadelphia’s district attorney at the time of Greenberg’s death. Addressing the case, Shapiro defended the initial investigation.

With the case now reopened, forensic experts and investigators will have another opportunity to analyze the troubling evidence surrounding Greenberg’s death. Ross believes a deeper examination will reveal inconsistencies that support the family’s claim that she did not die by suicide.

As the investigation moves forward, Greenberg’s family remains committed to uncovering the truth about what happened that night in her apartment.

11 Feb 2025Three Key Things In Bryan Kohberger's Medical Records That May Save His Life00:14:40
Bryan Kohberger, the accused in the brutal murder of four University of Idaho students, has remained a mystery—until now. A major breakthrough in his case has emerged, as prosecutors gain access to his full medical and psychiatric records, providing what could be the first real glimpse into his mental state. Could this be the missing piece of the puzzle that explains his alleged actions?
For months, speculation has swirled around Kohberger’s behavior, personality, and mental health history. Former classmates have described him as socially awkward, controlling, and emotionally detached. Reports of his struggles with substance abuse, dramatic personality shifts, and obsessive tendencies have fueled theories that an undiagnosed mental illness could have played a role in the murders. But until now, it’s all been speculation.

With Idaho law barring an insanity defense, Kohberger cannot claim he was legally insane at the time of the murders—so why does his mental health history matter? Experts believe these records could become a key factor in his sentencing. If his legal team can present evidence of serious, untreated mental illness, they may be able to argue against the death penalty, following in the footsteps of cases like Nikolas Cruz and James Holmes, where psychiatric conditions helped spare the defendants from execution.

But the prosecution isn’t backing down. Instead, they may argue that Kohberger was fully aware of his actions, that his behavior was calculated, and that his mental health struggles—if they exist—do not absolve him of responsibility. With mounting evidence, including DNA, surveillance footage, and cell phone records, they will likely present Kohberger as a highly intelligent but deeply disturbed individual who meticulously planned the crime—and should face the ultimate punishment.

So, what’s actually in these psychiatric records? Will they show a history of diagnosed mental illness, therapy sessions, or prescription medications? Or will they reveal that Kohberger was simply a methodical, cold-blooded killer, fully aware of his actions?

In this deep dive, we’ll break down:

  • What mental health experts say about Kohberger’s past behavior
  • How prosecutors and defense attorneys might use these records in court
  • The shocking similarities between Kohberger’s case and other infamous killers who had mental illness
  • What this means for the death penalty, and whether his legal team can use this as a lifeline
This is one of the most highly anticipated murder trials in recent history, and the revelations from Kohberger’s psychiatric records could shift everything. Will these new documents help him avoid execution, or will they solidify the case against him? Stay with us as we unravel the truth behind Bryan Kohberger’s mind and how it will shape his fate in the courtroom.

11 Feb 2025Diddy’s Tone-Deaf Kids Visit Kanye After His Hitler Praise00:13:50
Kanye West is back at it again—this time, not just torpedoing his own career but dragging Diddy into the mess with him. After a shocking social media meltdown where Kanye declared himself a Nazi, praised Adolf Hitler, and dismissed the #MeToo movement, he took a bizarre detour to demand the release of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. In one of the most tone-deaf moves imaginable, Diddy’s sons, Justin and Christian Combs, visited Kanye immediately after his rant—walking out with free Yeezy merch, as if this was some kind of celebrity gift exchange rather than a full-blown PR disaster. And then, as if the universe couldn’t make this any crazier, Diddy himself, from behind bars, THANKED Kanye for his support.

So, what exactly is going on here?

This story isn’t just about two controversial figures supporting each other—it’s a case study in delusion, unchecked ego, and self-destruction. Kanye West, once hailed as one of the greatest artists of his generation, is now spiraling further into hate speech, conspiracy theories, and blatant self-sabotage. Meanwhile, Diddy, who is potentially facing a lifetime in prison, is making the absolute worst moves possible by aligning himself with Kanye instead of trying to clean up his own public image.

12 Feb 2025State Releases Crime Scene Photos in Delphi Murders Case Amid Defense Push for Overturned Conviction00:13:01
For the first time since the 2017 Delphi murders, the state of Indiana has released crime scene photos, shedding new light on the evidence used to convict Richard Allen in the deaths of 13-year-old Abby Williams and 14-year-old Libby German.

The photos, included in a legal response by Carroll County Prosecutor Nicholas McLeland, show different angles of Libby German’s cellphone before it was collected as evidence. The same phone recorded the infamous "bridge guy" video, which played a crucial role in the case. Prosecutors argue the images reinforce their claim that environmental factors, such as water or dirt, could have impacted the phone’s functionality. However, Allen’s defense team disputes this, insisting the phone was manually activated even after it had reportedly stopped moving.

Allen, 52, was convicted in November and sentenced to 130 years in prison for the killings. His attorneys have since filed a Motion to Correct Errors, arguing that multiple issues— including forensic concerns, Allen’s treatment while in custody, allegedly false evidence, and an alleged confession from another man— warrant a new trial or the overturning of his conviction.

Defense attorney claims safekeeping order was illegal

Allen’s lawyers have long argued that his pretrial detention at the Westville Correctional Facility, where he spent significant time in solitary confinement, severely impacted his mental health and ultimately influenced the trial’s outcome. They describe the safekeeping order that placed him in the facility as “plainly illegal from start to finish.”

In response, McLeland dismissed these concerns, stating, “The motion for safekeeping does not touch on matters of guilt or impact the ability to have a fair trial, it is a mechanism for housing the Defendant in a penal facility pending trial that will keep him and others safe.”

Surveillance footage and allegations of false evidence

The defense has also pointed to newly surfaced surveillance footage from near the crime scene that they claim contradicts the prosecution’s timeline of events. According to Allen’s attorneys, jurors were presented with false evidence during the trial.

McLeland, however, has pushed back, stating that the video is “unverified by legitimate means” and lacks an Indiana State Police identification number. As a result, he argues, it is “an improper submission for consideration by the Court.”

Alleged 2017 confession by another suspect

Another major argument in the defense’s motion revolves around an alleged confession by Ron Logan, the late owner of the property where Abby and Libby were found. According to Indiana State Police records from 2017, Logan allegedly gave a detailed account of how he killed the girls.

Allen’s attorneys argue that excluding Logan as a third-party suspect was a critical mistake by the court. However, McLeland downplayed the confession, stating that the person who reported it to police “failed the polygraph miserably” and that “many of those details are directly contradicted by the evidence.”

Prosecutors push back against new trial request

McLeland has urged the judge to deny the defense’s motion outright, arguing, “The Defense is not permitted to request a new trial to change strategy when their chosen path fails.”

Former prosecutor and current defense attorney Brad Banks echoed this sentiment, predicting that Allen’s request will be swiftly denied. “I won’t be surprised if this was denied pretty readily,” Banks said. “I think there’s somewhere close to 0% chance any of this gets granted.”

NBCUniversal fights for public access to evidence

In a separate legal development, NBCUniversal has filed a motion requesting that all trial evidence and exhibits be made public. The media company had previously submitted a public records request seeking access to materials in the case, but the state denied that request.

12 Feb 2025Public Support Grows for Luigi Mangione as He Awaits Trial in UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder Case00:17:55
Public Support Grows for Luigi Mangione as He Awaits Trial in UnitedHealthcare CEO Murder Case

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel in December, continues to receive widespread public support. While political figures and mainstream media have condemned his alleged actions, a striking number of young Americans have expressed sympathy for him, with a recent poll showing that 81% of college students hold a negative view of Thompson.

The murder has reignited debate over the U.S. healthcare system, which many argue prioritizes profits over people. A growing number of Americans report struggling with medical costs, with over half of U.S. adults saying they have difficulty affording healthcare and one in four stating that they or a family member have faced financial hardship due to medical expenses.

Social media exploded with frustration after Thompson’s death, with many sharing stories of denied claims and devastating medical debt. UnitedHealthcare has long faced accusations of putting corporate profits before patient well-being, and Thompson, as CEO, became the focal point of that anger. “We’re tired of watching people die because they can’t afford insulin or cancer treatments,” one viral post read. “UnitedHealthcare has blood on its hands.”

Despite efforts by law enforcement and government officials to contain the conversation, support for Mangione has only grown. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn without bond, awaiting trial. Yesterday, it was announced that a GiveSendGo fundraiser launched by the December 4 Legal Committee had raised nearly $300,000 for his defense.

“We’re thrilled that Luigi is accepting these funds so he can mount the strongest defense possible,” the committee stated. “The American private health insurance industry has ruined countless lives by denying people access to basic care and burying families in medical debt. It’s no surprise that Luigi’s alleged actions are understood and supported by tens of millions of hard-working Americans.”

Reports have also surfaced that Mangione has been sharing his commissary funds with fellow inmates, a move that has only further solidified his status as a controversial but widely supported figure.

Mangione faces an extensive list of charges in multiple jurisdictions, including New York, Pennsylvania, and federal court. In New York, he has been charged with first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, second-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, and multiple weapons offenses. His federal charges include murder through the use of a firearm, two counts of stalking, and an additional firearm offense.

If convicted on the federal firearm-related murder charge, Mangione could face the death penalty, following an executive order issued by President Trump, which mandates its use in applicable cases.

While some view Mangione as a criminal, others see him as a symbol of growing dissatisfaction with a healthcare system that many believe has failed them. The U.S. government appears determined to make an example of him, sending a message that any disruption to the corporate-driven system will be met with severe consequences.

Whether or not one agrees with Mangione’s alleged actions, his case has undeniably forced a national conversation about healthcare justice and the limits of corporate power. His next court appearance in New York is scheduled for February 21.

13 Feb 2025Defense Challenges Evidence in University of Idaho Murders Case00:15:11
Attorneys for Bryan Kohberger, the man charged with the brutal stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students, have revealed that detectives found blood DNA from two unidentified males at the crime scene. The revelation, disclosed at a recent court hearing, hints at a possible legal defense strategy as the high-profile case moves toward trial.

Inside the off-campus home on King Road where the killings occurred, investigators discovered an unknown male’s blood DNA on a handrail. Another unidentified male’s blood DNA was found on a glove located outside the house, according to Kohberger’s lead defense attorney, Anne Taylor.

At the center of the case, however, is a piece of evidence that prosecutors say directly links Kohberger to the crime: a knife sheath found in one of the victim’s beds. Moscow police stated that DNA recovered from the sheath was matched to Kohberger. His defense team, however, argues that this was touch DNA rather than blood, disputing its strength as evidence.

Taylor further alleged that detectives intentionally withheld the existence of the unidentified male DNA samples when presenting evidence to a magistrate judge for Kohberger’s arrest warrant. Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson confirmed the DNA samples were not uploaded to the FBI’s national DNA database due to eligibility requirements, but he did not dispute Taylor’s claim that this evidence was omitted from the initial warrant application.

The defense contends that the omission undermines the state’s probable cause for Kohberger’s arrest, suggesting that it should disqualify certain evidence obtained through search warrants. However, Ada County District Judge Steven Hippler pushed back against this argument.

“How does that, even if disclosed, preclude a finding of probable cause when there’s a DNA match between the DNA on the sheath and Mr. Kohberger?” Hippler questioned during the hearing. “Isn’t that probable cause every day and twice on Sunday?”

Taylor responded that probable cause should not be considered in isolation, stating, “It’s these other things that are withheld that create a context around it. … Do we want to have one thing with no context around it when there’s this other context that really matters?”

Kohberger’s defense team is seeking a Franks hearing, a legal proceeding to challenge the validity of search warrants based on alleged omissions or falsehoods in warrant applications. While such hearings are rarely granted, Taylor’s strategy suggests a broader effort to weaken the prosecution’s case.

Criminal defense attorney Edwina Elcox, who previously represented Lori Vallow Daybell, told the Idaho Statesman that Kohberger’s defense will likely use the unidentified DNA evidence to “muddy the waters” at trial in an attempt to create reasonable doubt.

“That evidence could be any variety of things: It could be something, or it could be a lot of things that are nothing,” Elcox said. “There’s at least something to be made of it, and it’s better than having nothing as a defense.”

However, the biggest challenge for Kohberger’s defense remains the knife sheath. Prosecutors argue that the presence of Kohberger’s DNA on it—found at the scene where the four victims were stabbed—strongly supports his involvement.

“That’s the thing that squarely puts him there,” Elcox said. “The magnitude of that evidence to the state’s case is critical, and cannot be understated.”

Taylor maintains that no evidence directly connects Kohberger to the victims, emphasizing that police found no forensic links between him and the King Road home.

“There’s no blood in his car,” Taylor said at the hearing. “He wasn’t connected to that house, to the people in the house.”

Investigators, however, believe Kohberger returned to his Washington State University apartment after the attack, where police conducted a search. While they collected potential hair strands and other materials, FBI reports submitted by the defense indicate that no definitive connections were made between Kohberger and the victims.

Hippler acknowledged that while additional unknown DNA at the scene could be relevant, it does not necessarily diminish probable cause against Kohberger.

“There may be, as you say, other people that creates concern or issues about that need to be investigated further,” Hippler said. “But I’m not sure that that diminishes the probable cause for Mr. Kohberger if his DNA is found on a knife sheath found on or near the victim—who was stabbed with said alleged knife, that would have been in said alleged sheath.”

With Kohberger’s trial set for this summer, the defense faces a difficult task in explaining how the knife sheath, allegedly bearing his DNA, was found at the crime scene if he was not involved.

“I mean, that’s the ultimate question that will be before a jury,” Taylor admitted.

Hippler responded pointedly: “If you’re killed with a knife, that probably means a lot.”

13 Feb 2025Diddy Sues NBC for $100 Million Over Peacock Documentary on His Legal Troubles00:12:40
Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken legal action against NBCUniversal, Peacock TV, and production company Ample LLC, alleging defamation over the documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy. The music mogul claims the film, which debuted last month, includes false and damaging allegations against him, including accusations of serial murder, sex trafficking, and sexual assault of minors.

According to court documents filed on February 12, Combs is seeking $100 million in damages, citing "severe reputational and economic harm" caused by the documentary’s claims. His attorneys argue that the film deliberately spread "outrageous lies" with no credible evidence, exploiting public interest in his legal troubles for profit.

“As described in today’s lawsuit, NBCUniversal Media, LLC, Peacock TV, LLC, and Ample LLC made a conscious decision to line their own pockets at the expense of truth, decency, and basic standards of professional journalism,” Diddy’s attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement. “Grossly exploiting the trust of their audience and racing to outdo their competition for the most salacious Diddy exposé, Defendants maliciously and recklessly broadcast outrageous lies in Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy.”

The lawsuit marks another chapter in the ongoing legal turmoil surrounding Combs. The former hip-hop mogul was arrested last year on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty but remains in custody after being denied bail. If convicted, he faces a potential life sentence.

Federal prosecutors, in a September 2024 indictment, accused Combs of running a "criminal enterprise" within his business empire, alleging he used coercion, threats, and violence to cover up his actions. The indictment detailed claims of forced labor, bribery, and obstruction of justice, with accusations dating back as far as 2009.

Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo has consistently denied the allegations, calling the prosecution “unjust.” He defended Combs as “a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist” who has spent decades uplifting his community. “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal,” Agnifilo said after his arrest. “These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Despite his legal troubles, Diddy and his team have pushed back against the documentary’s claims. Before filing the lawsuit, they issued a statement denouncing the film as “irresponsible journalism” and accused NBC and Peacock of giving a platform to “proven liars and opportunists.”

“This documentary recycles and perpetuates the same lies and conspiracy theories that have been slung against Mr. Combs for months,” his team stated.

14 Feb 2025Inside the Shocking Fall of Ruby Franke: Family Breaks Silence in New Hulu Docuseries00:18:52
The husband and children of Ruby Franke, the disgraced YouTube mom now serving time for child abuse, are breaking their silence in Devil in the Family, a new three-part Hulu documentary. The series, premiering February 27, gives a raw and emotional look at the unraveling of the Franke family as Kevin Franke and their children share their side of the story.

A newly released trailer offers a glimpse into the series, showing Kevin Franke grappling with his role in what happened. He opens up about life inside their Utah home and the impact of allowing therapist Jodi Hildebrandt to move in—a decision that ultimately led to the severe mistreatment of his children.

“It eats me alive,” Kevin says in the trailer, reflecting on his failure to intervene as the abuse escalated. The emotional confession highlights the deep regret and pain he now carries.

Ruby Franke, known for her now-infamous 8 Passengers YouTube channel, was arrested in August 2023 alongside Hildebrandt after one of her malnourished children escaped and begged a neighbor for help. Authorities discovered shocking conditions, leading to charges of aggravated child abuse. Both women pleaded guilty and were sentenced to significant prison time.

Throughout Devil in the Family, Kevin Franke details how Hildebrandt’s influence over Ruby played a pivotal role in the family’s downfall. Hildebrandt, who ran a controversial counseling organization called ConneXions, allegedly convinced Ruby to take extreme disciplinary measures, isolating the children and subjecting them to inhumane punishments.

“I should have seen it. I should have stopped it,” Kevin admits in the series. His statements mark the first time he has spoken publicly about the case since his wife’s conviction.

The Franke children, who have largely stayed out of the public eye since their mother’s arrest, also share their painful experiences in the documentary. Their testimonies reveal the emotional and physical toll of their mother’s strict parenting and the manipulative tactics used by Hildebrandt.

The docuseries aims to unpack how a once-celebrated family vlogger, who built a massive following by promoting strict parenting, became a convicted abuser. It also sheds light on the dangers of cult-like ideologies and the devastating impact they can have on families.

Produced by ABC News Studios, Devil in the Family joins a growing list of true-crime documentaries exploring the dark side of family influencers. The series promises to be an eye-opening account of control, manipulation, and the long road to healing for those affected.

Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke streams exclusively on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ beginning February 27.

14 Feb 2025Idaho Advances Firing Squad Bill As Bryan Kohberger Trial Approaches00:19:08
Idaho lawmakers have taken another step toward reinstating the firing squad as the state’s primary execution method, just months before accused killer Bryan Kohberger stands trial for the brutal murders of four University of Idaho students.

The bill, H0037, passed the Judiciary, Rules and Administration Committee and is now advancing to the House floor. It would replace lethal injection as Idaho’s main method of execution.

Rep. Bruce Skaug, who previously helped restore the firing squad as a backup option, said the change is necessary due to increasing problems with lethal injection. His push comes after the botched execution attempt of convicted serial killer Thomas Eugene Creech last year.

“I, along with many others, believe the firing squad is more certain, has less appellate issues, and is more humane than other forms of execution,” Skaug told Fox News Digital.

Creech, one of Idaho’s most notorious inmates, was first sentenced to death for the 1974 murders of John Wayne Bradford and Edward Thomas Arnold, whom he shot after they picked him up hitchhiking. His sentence was later commuted to life in prison, but after he killed fellow inmate David Dale Jensen in 1983, he was placed back on death row.

He has been convicted of five murders across Idaho, Oregon, and California and has confessed to many more, though authorities only suspect him in a handful of those additional killings.

Despite his violent history, Creech survived his scheduled execution after lethal injection drugs failed, highlighting the challenges states face in carrying out capital punishment. He was the fourth condemned inmate in the U.S. to survive a botched lethal injection in recent years.

The primary problem, experts say, is the limited supply of the drugs used in lethal injections. After the last American manufacturer of a key drug ceased production in 2009, states have struggled to obtain the necessary chemicals. The leading remaining supplier, an Italian company, has refused to sell the drugs due to opposition to the death penalty.

Supporters of the firing squad argue that it provides a more reliable and efficient execution method. Fordham University professor Deborah Denno, a leading expert on capital punishment, has noted that past executions by firing squad have been swift and without complications.

“We’ve had three modern firing squad executions, and they have gone off as intended, and the inmate has died quickly and with dignity,” Denno said following Creech’s failed execution.

The Idaho Capital Sun reported that the state’s proposed firing squad would be mechanized and automated to further reduce potential human error.

“At first when you hear firing squad, if you’re not familiar with the history, you think ‘well that sounds barbaric’ is what I’ve heard from some,” Skaug said during a recent hearing. “It is certain. It is quick. And it brings justice for the victims and their families in a more expeditious manner than other types.”

The bill is advancing just as prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Kohberger, a former criminology Ph.D. student accused of stabbing four University of Idaho students to death in their off-campus home in Moscow.

The victims—21-year-olds Madison Mogen and Kaylee Goncalves and 20-year-olds Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin—were found brutally murdered on Nov. 13, 2022. Kohberger, who was arrested at his parents’ home in Pennsylvania, faces four counts of first-degree murder and one count of felony burglary.

His trial is scheduled for later this year. A judge entered not guilty pleas on his behalf at his arraignment.

If the death penalty is imposed, and if the bill passes, Kohberger could be among the first to face execution by firing squad under Idaho’s new law.

Could Bryan Kohberger’s Defense Get the DNA Evidence Thrown Out?
Could an unknown male’s DNA at the crime scene shake the foundation of the prosecution’s case against Bryan Kohberger? That’s what the defense is banking on, but how much weight does this revelation actually carry? While the prosecution remains laser-focused on Kohberger, his legal team is throwing everything they’ve got at the wall—hoping something sticks. A blood sample here, a discarded glove there—is this reasonable doubt or just smoke and mirrors? And what about the knife sheath with Kohberger’s DNA? The defense argues that investigators bent the rules to obtain it. But does violating an FBI policy really mean the evidence gets tossed, or is this just another Hail Mary play? Former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins us to break it all down. When it comes to the legal chess match playing out in court, who’s really making the smarter moves?

17 Feb 2025The Curious Case of Jodi Hildebrandt00:13:08
Jody Hildebrandt—trusted therapist or master manipulator? When does self-improvement cross the line into psychological control? With lawsuits mounting and a chilling documentary laying bare her methods, it’s time to ask: how does someone like Hildebrandt amass so much influence over those seeking help? And why do smart, rational people fall under the spell of someone who, by all accounts, seemed to have built a full-blown cult?

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins the conversation to break down the disturbing tactics Hildebrandt used to manipulate her victims—leveraging authority, exploiting shame, and creating an environment where she alone held the "truth." From bizarre obsessions with sexuality to the reinforcement of extreme religious doctrine, Hildebrandt’s grip on her followers was as insidious as it was lucrative.

But what kind of person buys into something like this? Is it just a matter of faith-based conditioning, or are some people more susceptible to this kind of manipulation than others? And perhaps the biggest question—was Hildebrandt a true believer in her own twisted philosophy, or just a master at controlling those desperate enough to listen?

Inside the Mind of a Killer FBI Expert Breaks Down Bryan Kohberger
What kind of criminal mastermind plants evidence and then forgets their knife sheath at the scene? That’s the kind of chaos we’re diving into today as we break down the latest twists in the Bryan Kohberger case. With unidentified male DNA popping up in unexpected places—a banister, a glove outside the house—Kohberger’s defense is having a field day suggesting there might be another suspect. But is this truly a game-changer, or just a classic case of reasonable doubt theater? Retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke joins the discussion to analyze whether this so-called planted evidence theory holds any weight, and why Kohberger looked so shocked when he was arrested. If he really thought he had the perfect crime figured out, what went wrong?

18 Feb 2025Did the FBI Overlook a Key Piece of Evidence in the Kohberger Case?00:10:23
Was the infamous knife sheath really a careless mistake, or is there more to the story? As Bryan Kohberger’s defense team continues to poke holes in the prosecution’s case, new theories are surfacing about the DNA evidence—some reasonable, others reaching into the realm of legal gymnastics. Could a stray glove with blood outside the crime scene be the golden ticket to reasonable doubt, or just another random piece of debris in a college town? And what about that railing DNA—an overlooked detail or an elaborate attempt to frame someone else? Robin Dreeke, retired FBI Special Agent, breaks it all down with Tony Brueski, diving into the tangled web of policies, legal gray areas, and whether the defense’s strategies could actually sway a jury. At the end of the day, is this a fight for innocence, or just a fight to avoid the death penalty?

Could the Other DNA at the Kohberger Crime Scene Create Reasonable Doubt?
Could Bryan Kohberger have actually planted evidence at the crime scene to throw investigators off his trail? It sounds like something straight out of a crime thriller, but some experts are taking the idea seriously. With unidentified male DNA found at the scene and Kohberger’s background in criminology, questions are swirling about just how much forethought went into this crime—if, of course, he’s the one who did it.

Retired FBI Special Agent Robin Dreeke joins us to break down this bizarre case, from the potential missteps of the prosecution to the eerie lack of blood evidence in Kohberger’s car and home. Could an alleged first-time killer really have been that meticulous, or is there something bigger lurking beneath the surface? And if Kohberger did stage parts of the crime scene, where in the world did he get someone else’s blood?

From disturbing interrogation tactics to the unsettling way he deflects responsibility, we explore how investigators crack the mindset of a man who truly believes his own lies. Breaking Down The Mind Of Bryan Kohberger With Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott
How do you go from studying criminology to becoming the accused in one of the most gruesome mass murders in recent history? That's the question looming over the case of Bryan Kohberger, and new revelations about his psychiatric and medical records might just provide some answers. With Idaho law taking the insanity defense off the table, these records could still play a major role—especially when it comes to sentencing.

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins Tony Brueski to break down what these records might reveal. Could they confirm long-standing struggles with mental health, or is something much darker at play? From obsessive tendencies and self-medication to an alleged history of detachment and disturbing fantasies, Kohberger’s psychological profile raises chilling questions. When family members aren’t surprised that someone they love has been accused of such horrors, what does that really say about the warning signs?

17 Feb 2025Could Bryan Kohberger Be Innocent? The DNA Twist No One Expected00:31:12
Could an unidentified drop of blood really turn the tide in the case against Bryan Kohberger? His defense team seems to think so, pointing to the presence of unidentified male DNA at the crime scene as their potential ace in the hole. But how much weight does that actually carry when the scene in question was a well-trafficked party house?

Tony Brueski and retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer break down the latest legal maneuvering, questioning whether this is truly a revelation or just another attempt to muddy the waters. From DNA found on a handrail to a random glove discovered well after the crime, the conversation delves into whether these details are meaningful—or just convenient distractions.

And then there’s the big question: If the defense is hinging their argument on a couple of stray DNA samples, does that mean they don’t have anything better?

Is the defense grasping at straws or onto something big? As Bryan Kohberger’s legal team zeroes in on unidentified male DNA found at the crime scene, they argue that law enforcement may have rushed to judgment while ignoring other possible suspects. But does this argument actually hold weight, or is it just a well-worn defense strategy designed to create doubt?

Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins Tony Brueski to dissect the claims, explaining why context matters when analyzing DNA evidence—especially in a notorious party house where dozens of people came and went. From the mysterious glove found well after the crime to the defense’s strategic omissions, we’re breaking down the latest developments in a case that continues to evolve.

Are these revelations game-changers, or just more noise in an already complex case?

17 Feb 20251999 Assault Allegations Resurface – What This Means for Diddy00:15:29
Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing a lawsuit filed by a woman who alleges he sexually assaulted her after a party in New York City in 1999. The plaintiff, who was 23 at the time and working as a model and promotional employee, claims that after attending a VIP party hosted by Combs, he invited her to stay at his home to avoid catching a train. Despite informing him that she was married and receiving assurances of no inappropriate conduct, she alleges that during the car ride to his home, she felt extremely drowsy and suspected she had been drugged. Upon arrival, she claims Combs pressured her into drinking more, made unwanted physical advances, and assaulted her over approximately four hours. Throughout the ordeal, she attempted to inform her husband of her location by texting him the address from pieces of mail she observed in the car.

In response to these allegations, Combs' attorneys have stated: "No matter how many lawsuits are filed — especially by individuals who refuse to put their own names behind their claims — it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone — man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court."

This lawsuit adds to a series of legal challenges Combs has faced in recent years. Notably, in November 2023, his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura accused him of sexual and physical abuse, leading to a settlement. Following that, multiple other individuals have filed lawsuits alleging various forms of sexual misconduct and illegal activities by Combs, including claims of rape, drugging, physical abuse, and sex trafficking. Combs has consistently denied these allegations.

As of now, Combs is incarcerated in New York after a federal judge denied his bail following a September indictment on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges.

17 Feb 2025David Smith Recalls Susan Smith’s Chilling Confession: ‘She Just Said I’m Sorry’00:17:04
Susan Smith’s ex-husband, David Smith, vividly remembers the moment she admitted to killing their two young sons in 1994. Speaking with NBC’s Craig Melvin for an upcoming Dateline episode, David reflected on the cold nature of her confession.

“She just casually, like you and I sitting here, said ‘I’m sorry.’ And that was about as far as it went,” David recalled.

For David, the lack of emotion in her words has lingered for three decades. “I asked her ‘Why did you do this? Why?’ And she said, ‘I don’t know why, but I’m sorry,’” he continued.

The case, which shocked the nation, began on October 25, 1994, when Susan, then 23, told authorities that a Black man had carjacked her vehicle with her two sons, Michael, 3, and Alex, 14 months, inside. She pleaded on national television for their safe return, igniting a massive search effort.

Nine days later, her story fell apart. Susan ultimately admitted that there was no carjacker. Instead, she had let her car roll into a lake in Union, South Carolina, with her children still strapped into their car seats. Investigators determined that Susan’s motive stemmed from a relationship with a man who did not want children.

The case captivated the world and landed on the cover of PEOPLE magazine. Susan was convicted of two counts of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Three decades later, Susan remains incarcerated at Leath Correctional Institution in Greenwood, South Carolina. In November 2024, she was denied parole after serving 30 years.

“I know that what I did was horrible,” Susan told the parole board, according to CNN. “I am a Christian, and God is a big part of my life, and I know he has forgiven me… And I just ask that you show that same kind of mercy as well.”

David, however, made it clear before the hearing that he did not support her release. “I don’t think she’ll ever be rehabilitated,” he said on the Today show. “I don’t think she’s, even to me, she’s never been really sorry for what she did.”

Looking back, David wishes the jury had sentenced Susan to death instead of life in prison. “For myself, yes, because I wouldn’t have to be dealing with what’s coming up now,” he told Dateline. “I know that they said she had a tough life growing up, and I’ve never tried to make light of that, but you don’t kill your children for what happened to you. I wanted an eye for an eye, but the jury saw different.”

Despite his anger, David has found a way to forgive Susan. Speaking with Court TV in September 2024, he explained that his faith led him to that decision.

“Yes, I have forgiven her, but again, that goes to my faith in God and that's the way I was raised. That we have to forgive,” he said. “But it sure doesn't take away the act of what she did. It doesn't make it any less, it doesn't make it any easier. But I have forgiven her for what she did.”

David’s pain, however, remains as sharp as ever. His two sons, Michael and Alex, would now be adults—lives stolen by the mother who was supposed to protect them.

What happens when the people sworn to protect and serve are the very ones hiding the darkest secrets? The case of Sandra Birchmore is a stomach-turning tale of power, manipulation, and a cover-up so deep it took the FBI stepping in to crack it open. A young woman, groomed for years by a police officer—possibly more than one—who then allegedly took her life and staged it as a suicide.

And here’s where it gets even more twisted: not only was Officer Matthew Farwell allegedly involved, but so was his twin brother and at least one other officer. The cover-up lasted for years, with local authorities quickly closing the case as a suicide. But when the feds come knocking, the cracks in the blue wall of silence start to show.

How does a staged crime scene go unnoticed? Why did investigators accept such a flimsy narrative when nothing about Sandra’s life pointed to suicide? And just how many people turned a blind eye? Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins us to dissect the evidence, the corruption, and the chilling reality that this might not be the only victim.

If this was the case they were caught on, how many more slipped through the cracks?

The Case That Could EXPOSE Police Corruption – Sandra Birchmore Deserves Justice
How do you fake a suicide and get away with it—at least for a few years? That’s the unsettling question surrounding the alleged murder of Sandra Birchmore, a young woman who was groomed and abused by not just one, but multiple police officers in Stoughton, Massachusetts. The prime suspect? Officer Matthew Farwell. But he wasn’t working alone—his twin brother and another officer were also tangled in this horrifying case.

For a while, it looked like they’d pulled it off. Birchmore’s death was ruled a suicide, case closed. But then, the FBI stepped in, and suddenly, things didn’t add up. How did so many people miss the glaring evidence of a cover-up? Or worse—how many of them chose to look the other way? Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins us to break down the disturbing details.

When those who are supposed to protect us become the predators, how deep does the corruption go?

18 Feb 2025Maryland Woman Sentenced to Life in Prison (All but 50 Years Suspended) for Killing Young Niece and Nephew Found in Trunk00:11:26
A Maryland woman will likely spend decades behind bars for the brutal deaths of her 7-year-old niece and 5-year-old nephew, whose decomposing bodies were discovered in the trunk of her car during a 2021 traffic stop.

On Monday, a Baltimore County judge ordered 36-year-old Nicole M. Johnson to serve a life sentence in a state correctional facility, with all but 50 years suspended, after her conviction on two counts of child abuse resulting in death of a child under 13.

The victims, identified as 7-year-old Joshlyn Johnson and 5-year-old Larry O’Neal, were found during a late-night traffic stop on July 28, 2021. Baltimore County Police officers with the Essex precinct pulled over Johnson’s vehicle near Eastern Boulevard and Wagners Lane in the Back River area.

According to court records, Johnson’s car was uninsured, unregistered, and equipped with a fake license plate, prompting officers to tow the vehicle. Before the car could be removed, Johnson’s alarming statements—“It don’t matter, I won’t be here in five days” and “ya’ll going to see me on the news making my big debut”—led police to investigate further.

Officers noticed the smell of decomposition as Johnson removed belongings from her trunk. When they asked to see inside a suitcase Johnson attempted to conceal, they found the body of Joshlyn. They then discovered Larry’s remains in a separate plastic tote. Authorities said both children were severely underweight, with Joshlyn weighing only 18 pounds and Larry weighing 21 pounds at the time of their deaths.

During her interview with police, Johnson admitted to striking Joshlyn in May 2020 at a motel after she suspected the child had been stealing. She said the child collapsed and remained unresponsive, prompting her to place Joshlyn’s body in a suitcase and store it in the trunk for several months. Johnson claimed that Larry died in his sleep about two months before her arrest.

The children’s mother, Dachelle Johnson, wrote online that she had been trying to regain custody of her children from her sister when Johnson “just disappeared.” She explained that she initially allowed Johnson to watch Joshlyn and Larry because she was unable to care for them at the time. A prearranged exchange never took place; Dachelle only learned of the children’s fate after police contacted her about their deaths.

“It was supposed to just be a family helping family situation,” Dachelle wrote on a since-deleted fundraising page. “I trusted her… I’ll never get to see my kids because of a mistake I made in trusting my sister. I wish I could take it back, but I can’t.”

Per the court’s orders, should Nicole Johnson ever be released, she will be required to serve five years of supervised probation, complete mental health treatment, and have no contact with anyone under the age of 18.

Woman Claiming Jay-Z & Diddy Assaulted Her In 2000 Drops Suit
In this episode, we dive into the shocking and sudden withdrawal of the lawsuit accusing Sean “Diddy” Combs and Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter of sexual assault. With no explanation given, the case was dismissed with prejudice, permanently closing the door on future legal action. Jay-Z wasted no time in celebrating the outcome, calling the allegations “frivolous” and a blatant money grab, while Diddy’s legal team is using the dismissal as proof that the wave of lawsuits against him is crumbling.
But what really happened behind the scenes? Was this a case that fell apart due to lack of evidence, external pressure, or something else entirely? We break down the timeline of events, the legal maneuvers, and the implications this has on the broader legal battles surrounding Diddy. With multiple accusations still looming and federal investigations ongoing, this is just one chapter in a much larger saga.

Join us as we separate fact from speculation, examine the impact of high-profile lawsuits in the entertainment industry, and discuss what this means for the future of both Jay-Z and Diddy. Was this dismissal a victory for justice, or does it leave more questions than answers? Tune in to find out.

The $100 Million Question: Can Diddy Prove Defamation Against NBC?
Could Sean "Diddy" Combs’ bold $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal be a masterstroke legal maneuver, or is it just a desperate attempt to shift the narrative before facing his own federal charges? The rap mogul is going all in, claiming the documentary Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy is a reckless hit piece packed with falsehoods about murder, trafficking, and his alleged criminal empire. But will this move backfire spectacularly?

Defense attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins Tony Brueski to break down the high-stakes game Diddy is playing. Could this lawsuit accidentally open the door to more damaging evidence? Is he trying to control public perception, or is this a last-ditch effort to secure funding as his empire crumbles? And let’s be real—does he actually think the public is buying what he's selling?

Breaking Down The 'Nazi' Bromance Of Kanye & Diddy
What happens when two of the most controversial figures in entertainment collide in a storm of scandal, delusion, and alleged criminality? Kanye West, in what can only be described as his latest unhinged crusade, has taken it upon himself to champion Sean "Diddy" Combs—who, in case you missed it, is currently facing federal sex trafficking charges. But Kanye being Kanye, he couldn’t stop there. His defense of Diddy comes with a side of Nazi admiration, Me Too bashing, and a fashion giveaway for Diddy’s kids, because priorities.

Meanwhile, Diddy—despite, you know, his current situation—actually thanked Kanye from behind bars. Which raises the question: what in the world is going on with these two? Is Kanye spiraling through another manic episode, or is there something more sinister at play? And why would Diddy, who should probably be focusing on his legal defense, attach himself to Kanye instead of running for the metaphorical hills?

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins to dissect the bizarre psychology behind their behavior, the impact of alleged past trauma on Diddy’s children, and whether anyone caught in this whirlwind of dysfunction can truly break free. Can they, though? Or are they too far gone?

What Does Bryan Kohberger's Childhood Tell Us About The Person He Became?
What happens when someone who studies crime allegedly becomes the criminal? That’s the eerie question swirling around Bryan Kohberger, a criminology student now accused of one of the most brutal mass murders in recent history. With his psychiatric and medical records now in the hands of prosecutors, the debate deepens—was this the work of a methodical mind with severe personality pathology, or could an underlying mental illness play a role in his fate?

Psychotherapist and author Shavaun Scott joins to analyze what, if anything, these records might reveal about Kohberger’s psychological makeup. Could they influence sentencing? Do they hint at early struggles that went unnoticed? And does any of it change the weight of personal accountability in crimes like this?

At the end of the day, is it nature, nurture, or just a cold, calculated choice?

21 Feb 2025How Did Bryan Kohbergers Drug Problem Play A Role In The Alleged Murders?00:13:18
What makes someone go from studying crime to allegedly committing it?

In this chilling discussion, Tony Brueski and psychotherapist Shavaun Scott dig into the psychological makeup of individuals who cross the line from academic curiosity to violent obsession. Was substance abuse a trigger, or was it simply a symptom of something much darker? What role do years of violent fantasies play in shaping a killer? And perhaps most disturbingly, what does it say when family members aren’t entirely shocked when their loved one is accused of a horrific crime?

With eerie hindsight, even the suspect’s criminology research seems to hint at something more than just academic interest. Was he studying crime to prevent it—or to perfect it?

Can Bryan Kohberger’s Defense Use Unknown DNA to Create Reasonable Doubt?
Could Bryan Kohberger have been arrogant enough to believe he'd committed the perfect crime—only to be caught off guard when investigators came knocking? His legal team is now hammering away at the discovery of unidentified male DNA at the crime scene, claiming it could introduce reasonable doubt. But does this actually shake up the case, or is it just a classic defense tactic grasping at straws?

Attorney and former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins the discussion, dissecting the legal strategy behind this new revelation. Is this DNA discovery a potential game-changer, or just a minor detail being exaggerated for effect? And what about the theory that Kohberger himself planted the evidence to mislead investigators—was he really thinking that far ahead? If so, why did he completely botch his alibi?

Did Bryan Kohberger Plant Other DNA at the Scene to Mislead Investigators?
Could Bryan Kohberger’s defense be playing the long game? With new mental health records handed over to prosecutors, the question arises: is this about proving innocence or simply avoiding the death penalty? Tony Brueski and former felony prosecutor Eric Faddis break down the implications of this risky move—one that could open up Kohberger’s entire medical history to scrutiny. Was his alleged criminal planning as meticulous as some believe, or did he overlook the basics of crafting an alibi? And what’s the real strategy behind the defense’s latest play? Could this be a signal for a plea deal, or is this case destined for trial no matter what?

18 Feb 2025Ellen Greenberg Case Takes Major Turn as Family Wins Settlement, Ex-Pathologist Admits Suicide Ruling Was Wrong00:21:04
Ellen Greenberg Case Takes Major Turn as Family Wins Settlement, Ex-Pathologist Admits Suicide Ruling Was Wrong

A long-awaited breakthrough in the 14-year battle for justice in Ellen Greenberg’s death arrived in a Philadelphia courtroom Monday, as her parents, Joshua and Sandee Greenberg, reached a settlement with the city that will result in an expedited review of their daughter's controversial suicide ruling.

The Greenbergs, who have fought tirelessly to prove their daughter was murdered, agreed to drop lawsuits against former Philadelphia Chief Medical Examiner Sam Gulino and Homicide Det. John McNamee. Their lawsuit alleged that the officials conspired to cover up evidence that Ellen was the victim of homicide. The settlement also halts a separate case that was scheduled for arguments before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in early 2025.

“This is a step forward to bring in the people to justice who are responsible for this homicide,” said Joe Podraza, the family’s attorney. “We’d like to find out who the murderer or murderers of Ellen are.”

The City of Philadelphia will pay an undisclosed sum to the Greenbergs in July, but monetary compensation was never the goal for Joshua Greenberg.

“There is nobody in the world who can say Ellen committed suicide, and that’s the most important thing,” he said. “I don’t care about the money. I wanted Ellen’s suicide taken care of.”

His confidence comes from a key development: a sworn admission from former Philadelphia pathologist Dr. Marlon Osbourne, the man who initially performed Ellen’s autopsy. Osbourne originally ruled Ellen’s death a homicide before changing it to suicide after discussions with Philadelphia homicide detectives and medical examiners. Now, he admits he was wrong.

A Stunning Reversal in Ellen’s Case

In a legal document signed Saturday, Osbourne outlined the evidence that led him to reconsider his stance. His reversal confirms what the Greenbergs' independent investigation has long suggested—that Ellen Greenberg was murdered.

The Greenbergs’ private investigator, retired Pennsylvania State Police Detective Tom Brennan, uncovered major inconsistencies in the case, including:

  • New witness statements disputing whether Ellen’s fiancé, Sam Goldberg, actually forced entry into their apartment.
  • Evidence suggesting Ellen’s body was moved after she died, contradicting the crime scene’s initial assessment.
  • A neuropathological evaluation confirming no hemorrhaging in a critical knife wound to Ellen’s spinal cord, indicating she was already dead when the wound was inflicted.
Despite these findings, the Philadelphia Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet committed to changing Ellen’s cause of death. Instead, they’ve agreed to conduct a new review—one the Greenbergs hope will officially overturn the suicide ruling

A Flawed Investigation From the Start

From the moment Ellen was found stabbed to death in her apartment on January 26, 2011, her case has been plagued with investigative failures.
Ellen’s fiancé, Sam Goldberg, claimed he returned from the gym to find their apartment door locked from the inside. After allegedly forcing entry, he said he discovered Ellen slumped against the kitchen cabinets, with a knife still lodged in her chest. During his 911 call, Goldberg repeatedly insisted that Ellen had “stabbed herself.”

Philadelphia police and the medical examiner’s office quickly accepted that explanation, ruling her death a suicide despite the glaring improbability of someone stabbing themselves 20 times—including wounds to the back of the head and neck.

Perhaps the most egregious failure came when detectives left the crime scene unsecured. The next day, the apartment was professionally cleaned before a proper forensic investigation could take place. This error effectively destroyed potential evidence that could have pointed to a killer.

“These are mistakes that should never happen in a homicide investigation,” Brennan said. “There is no statute of limitations on murder. We will keep fighting.”

With the lawsuit settled, the Greenbergs’ attorneys are now pushing for outside law enforcement agencies—such as the FBI or the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office—to take over the case.

Podraza made it clear that Philadelphia police would not be part of any future investigation.

“Frankly, from our vantage point, they were not very cooperative,” he said. “The question will be how receptive other law enforcement agencies will be to pursuing this.”

While a wrongful death lawsuit remains a possibility, Podraza said the family will wait to see if a criminal investigation moves forward before making any decisions.

For Ellen’s mother, Sandee, the settlement marks the end of years of sleepless nights and heartbreak, but not the end of their pursuit for justice.

“I hope today we made Ellen proud of us because we certainly were very proud of her,” she said.

As for Brennan, who has spent years uncovering the truth behind Ellen’s death, he remains hopeful that her killer will one day be brought to justice.

“You know, we have all the time in the world,” he said. “There is no statute of limitations on homicide. Won’t it be nice to put your hand on somebody’s shoulder and say, ‘Hey, come with me’?”

18 Feb 2025Jay-Z and Diddy Lawsuit Dropped as Sexual Assault Accuser Withdraws Case00:19:31
Jay-Z and Diddy Lawsuit Dropped as Sexual Assault Accuser Withdraws Case

A woman who accused Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping her when she was 13 years old has dropped her lawsuit against both men, according to court records. The notice of voluntary dismissal was filed on Friday and was dismissed "with prejudice," meaning she cannot refile the case.

The lawsuit, initially filed in late 2023, included disturbing allegations that the woman, identified as "Jane Doe," was lured by a limousine driver outside the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards and taken to an after-party, where she claimed she was drugged and raped by the two music moguls. The suit was dismissed less than four months after it was filed, but her attorneys did not provide a reason for withdrawing it.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, strongly denied the allegations and had been pushing for the case to be dismissed. Following the lawsuit’s withdrawal, Carter released a statement calling the claims "frivolous, fictitious, and appalling."

"I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, my loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed," he said, also referring to the case as a "money-grab."

Combs, who is already facing several lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, has been in custody in New York City since late last year on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. His legal team responded to the lawsuit’s dismissal by asserting that it was just one of many cases that "will not hold up in a court of law."

"Sean Combs has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. No number of lawsuits, sensationalized allegations, or media theatrics will change that reality," his attorneys stated.

The woman first came forward publicly in December in an NBC News interview, revealing that she is now a 38-year-old mother in Alabama. She said she remained silent for more than two decades out of fear that no one would believe her.

According to her lawsuit, she was outside Radio City Music Hall the night of the 2000 VMAs when she met a limousine driver who claimed to work for Combs. The driver allegedly took her to an after-party, where she accepted a drink from a waitress and immediately felt lightheaded. The lawsuit stated that as she looked for a place to lie down, Combs, Carter, and another unnamed woman followed her into a room, where Carter allegedly raped her first, followed by Combs.

Carter’s attorneys had pointed out multiple inconsistencies in the woman’s claims, including being unable to verify the location of the alleged after-party. The woman described it as a large white house with a gated U-shaped driveway about 20 minutes from Radio City Music Hall, but no such property had been found to match that description. Additionally, Carter’s legal team referenced NBC’s reporting that musician Benji Madden—who the woman claimed was present at the party—was actually on tour in the Midwest at the time.

Meanwhile, Combs remains in legal turmoil, facing multiple allegations of sexual assault, physical violence, and sex trafficking. His upcoming trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges is set to begin in May.

21 Feb 2025Legal Loopholes & Defense Tactics Could Sterns Walk on a Technicality?00:11:15
Could a legal technicality allow an alleged child predator and murderer to walk free? That’s the chilling question in the case of Stephan Sterns, accused of murdering 13-year-old Maddie Soto and facing 60 additional child sex crime charges. With prosecutors seeking the death penalty, the defense is scrambling to suppress critical evidence—including damning cell phone data—arguing that law enforcement overstepped legal boundaries. Former prosecutor Eric Faddis joins to dissect the courtroom battle. Did investigators make a fatal mistake by skipping a warrant, or will the severity of the alleged crimes overshadow any procedural missteps? And then there's Maddie’s mother, Jen Soto—who once defended Sterns but now calls him a “master liar.” Was she just another one of his victims, or is she trying to protect herself from potential charges? And the most disturbing twist yet—another person in Maddie’s life, a teacher, has now been charged with child sex crimes. Is this a horrifying coincidence, or are we looking at a much larger and more sinister web of predators? #TrueCrime #HiddenKillers #JusticeForMaddie #LegalLoopholes #ChildPredators #CrimeInvestigation #DarkTruth
