Vishal Gondal is an Indian entrepreneur and Angel Investor. He began his career aged 16 when he founded the game development and publishing company, Indiagames, in 1999.
By 2009 the company had approximately 300 employees and offices in Mumbai, Beijing, London and Los Angeles. In 2011 Indiagames was acquired by Disney for around US$100 million.
In 2008 Vishal Gondal launched Sweat and Blood Venture Group to invest in start-ups at a seed level, investing in Instablogs and Docusuggest amongst others.
In March 2014 Gondal launched GOQii, a fitness technology company based in California, with offices in Mumbai and Shenzhen. Gondal is currently the CEO of GOQii.
In his spare time Gondal keeps fit and healthy running marathons, trekking and sky-diving. His love of the great outdoors and the desire to push himself physically dates back to his youth when he was a national level volleyball player. His own passion for healthy sustainable living certainly played its part in driving him to start GOQii, helping to enable people to shift to a healthier lifestyle.

Aaron Snow (he/him) is a Fellow at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University, where he divides his time between the Digital Service Network and the Intergovernmental Software Collaborative.
Aaron has led digital service teams for two national governments. In 2014 he co-founded and then led 18F, the US government’s in-house technology and design consultancy, and was the first Deputy Commissioner of the Technology Transformation Service. In 2018, he became the first CEO of the Government of Canada’s Canadian Digital Service. He has twice been named one of the “World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government.”
Before 18F, Aaron was a 2013 Presidential Innovation Fellow. Before entering government service, he developed software and managed product development for small and large enterprises, including Microsoft, and co-founded Daring Software, building the back-end for its flagship Arro shopping app. He serves on the Advisory Boards of gov.uk and FWD50.
Aaron is an honors graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he is based in Kensington, MD.

Dr. Jonathan Reichental is the CEO of Human Future, a global business and technology education, advisory, and investment firm. He is the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of Palo Alto, and a multiple award-winning technology leader whose 30-year career has spanned both the private and public sectors.
In 2017, he was named one of the top 100 CIOs in the world and in 2016 he was named a top influential CIO in the United States. Dr. Reichental is also recognized as a global thought leader on a number of emerging trends including urban innovation and blockchain technology. In 2013 he was recognized as one of the 25 doers, dreamers, and drivers in government in America.
He also won a best CIO in Silicon Valley award and a national IT leadership prize. His innovative work in government has also been recognized by the White House. Dr. Reichental is an adjunct professor at several universities including UC Berkeley and the University of San Francisco. He is a popular writer and online host, producing several highly successful online courses with LinkedIn Learning. Wolfgang Fengler is the World Bank’s Lead Economist in Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation. A native German, Wolfgang has been a staff member of the World Bank for more than 18 years, during which he lived in four continents: First in North America working at the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington DC, then in Asia as a Senior Economist in the Indonesia office, followed by Africa, where he served as the World Bank’s Lead Economist in the Nairobi office. Finally, he moved to Europe as part of the senior team of the World Bank’s new hub in Vienna.
Wolfgang published extensively on social and economic issues. He also co-authored "Delivering Aid Differently" (with Homi Kharas, Brookings) and "Africa’s Economic Boom" (with Shanta Devarajan, Foreign Affairs). Wolfgang also spoke at TEDx Vienna and launched population.io (endorsed by Bill Gates) as well as worldpoverty.io, two real-time big data models. The German weekly DER SPIEGEL called him a "big data virtuoso." Prior to joining the World Bank, he set up Africa Consulting, LLC, and was a Fellow at the Research Institute for International Relations. Wolfgang gained a PhD from the University of Hamburg (Germany). Wolfgang loves travelling and sports, especially football. He was the football commissioner at the International School of Kenya and organized the “Nairobi Mini World Cup”, one of Kenya’s largest football tournaments for kids.

Professor Sohail Inayatullah /sə'heɪl ɪnaɪʌ'tʊla/, a political scientist, is Professor at Tamkang University, Taipei (Graduate Institute of Futures Studies) and Associate, Melbourne Business School, The University of Melbourne. From 2001-2020, he was Adjunct Professor from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. From 2011-2014, he was Adjunct Professor at the Centre for policing, counter-terrorism and intelligence, Macquarie University, Sydney. In 1999, he was the UNESCO Chair in European Studies at the University of Trier, Germany.
In 2016, Professor Inayatullah was awarded the first UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies. In 2010, he was awarded the Laurel award for all-time best futurist by the Shaping Tomorrow Foresight Network. In March 2011, he was awarded an honorary doctorate by Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang. He received his doctorate from the University of Hawaii in 1990. Inayatullah has lived in Islamabad, Pakistan; Bloomington, Indiana; Flushing, New York; Geneva, Switzerland; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Brisbane and Mooloolaba, Australia.

About Pete Peterson Pete Peterson (MPP '07), dean of the School of Public Policy, began his career at Pepperdine as a teacher of public decision-making in 2007. He launched the school's Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership, becoming its first executive director in 2010. He continues to serve as a Senior Fellow of the Institute, training hundreds of local government officials in public engagement skills each year.
Under Peterson's leadership, the school has begun a number of innovative initiatives, including the Homeland Security Council at School of Public Policy in 2019, which maximizes community resilience by advancing technological innovation and prepares leaders in crisis management and disaster response, and the American Project in 2017, a unique effort to gather scholars and activists to deliberate over, write about, and discuss the future of the conservative movement. Peterson has been a Public Affairs Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and he serves on the leadership councils of the Public Policy Institute of California and California Forward, a bipartisan political reform organization. Peterson was the Republican nominee (top-two race) for California secretary of state in 2014.

About Tim Unwin Professor Tim Unwin is Emeritus Professor of Geography (since 2011) and Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair in ICT4D (since 2007) at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is also Honorary Professor at Lanzhou University in China. He was Secretary General of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) from 2011-2015, and was Chair of the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission from 2009-2014. He serves on the UK Department for International Development’s Digital Advisory Panel, the UN University – Computing and Society International Advisory Board, the ITU's m-Powering Development Advisory Board, and the Steering Committee of the World Economic Forum’s Internet for All initiative. He is currently working with UNESCO and UNICEF to co-ordinate 21 UN agencies in developing a UN-wide strategy for the future of education and learning. His edited book Information and Communication Technologies for Development, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2009, and his latest book ReclaimingICT4D was published by Oxford University Press in 2017. Most of his research and writing currently focuses on the inequalities caused by ICTs and what needs to be done to ensure that the poorest and most marginalised people can also benefit from them. About Jane Wiseman Jane Wiseman is an Innovations in Government Fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. She leads the Institute for Excellence in Government, a non-profit consulting firm dedicated to improving government performance. She has served as an appointed official in government and as a financial advisor and consultant to government. Her current consulting, research, and writing focus on government innovation and data-driven decision-making. She is leading an effort to create a national network of urban Chief Data Officers to accelerate the use of analytics in local government. She has advised the US cities funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies in their Mayors Challenge competition. She has written on customer-centric government, data-driven decision-making in government, pretrial justice, and 311 for a variety of audiences.
Her prior consulting work has included organizational strategy, performance management and eGovernment strategy work for Accenture and Price Waterhouse. Selected clients include the National Governor’s Association, the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Criminal Justice Association, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United States Postal Service, the State of Michigan, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the United States Department of Commerce.
Ms. Wiseman has served as Assistant Secretary, Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and as Assistant to the Director for Strategic Planning, National Institute of Justice, United States Department of Justice. Ms. Wiseman represented the Justice Department on detail as a Staff Assistant for the US House of Representatives Appropriations Committee. Ms. Wiseman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College and a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.

About Ryan Ryan Androsoff is an international expert on digital government and an enthusiastic advocate for the use of digital technology and user-centred design approaches. With a passion for public sector entrepreneurship, Ryan has two decades of experience working with a variety of government and international organizations in Canada, the United States, and Europe. An experienced and dynamic presenter, Ryan has delivered hundreds of presentations over the past decade on various aspects of digital transformation and public sector innovation to audiences ranging from senior executive committees, to keynote addresses at conferences, to live webinar training sessions. Currently Ryan has partnered with the Institute on Governance to lead their Digital Executive Leadership Program for public sector executives, and is serving as a consultant for government organizations to advise on their digital transformation efforts.
Previously, Ryan was a Co-Founder of the Canadian Digital Service, a startup organization within the Canadian government launched in 2017 with the mission of helping government design, prototype, and build better digital services. From 2010-16 he had served as Senior Policy Advisor on a variety of digital government initiatives in the Government of Canada's Treasury Board Secretariat, and in 2015 took on a one-year assignment with the OECD's digital government team in Paris, France. Ryan is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he earned a Master in Public Policy degree, with research focused on the impacts for governments of new digital technologies.
