Gonzovation is the invention of artist, Ralph Steadman and writer Ceri Levy. Its core belief is compassion for nature and the world around us. 

In this podcast series, Ralph has sent Ceri to talk to an eclectic group of artists, writers, poets, musicians and conservationists about their passion for wildlife and our environment.

In the first episode of Gonzovation Comversations, Ceri chats with Jennifer Lonsdale.

Jennifer is a campaigner, co-founder and trustee of the NGO, Environmental Investigation Agency, or the EIA for short. She talks about her life in conservation from her early days with Greenpeace, through to work campaigning against the slaughter of whales, her love of marine animals, and how the EIA came into being and the work that it continually carries out to protect the environment and save the world’s wildlife.

Nathan Eagle is an environmental journalist and deputy editor with Hawaii’s Honolulu Civil Beat. He joins Ceri to discuss his work on environmental stories and focuses on the problems that face the Kiwikiu, a critically endangered bird in what is sadly known as the extinction capital of the world, Hawaii.
