Suzi Ronson (née Fussey) played a crucial behind-the-scenes role in shaping David Bowie’s image during his Ziggy Stardust era. Born in England, she worked as a hairdresser in Beckenham when she first encountered Bowie and his then-wife, Angie Bowie. It was Suzi who gave Bowie the now-iconic red mullet haircut, which was inspired by a style from a Japanese fashion magazine. Impressed by her work, Bowie invited her to join his team as a personal stylist, making her the first woman to be part of his touring crew.

During the early 1970s, Suzi traveled with Bowie and his band, the Spiders from Mars, styling his hair, helping with wardrobe, and supporting the overall theatrical vision of his performances. This period was one of the most visually striking and influential phases of Bowie’s career.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in theater at SUNY Purchase/Empire State, and attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre, studying with Sanford Meisner, and Bill Esper of William Esper Studios in New York City. She attended Iona College for her master’s degree in English education and Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University for a master of divinity in education. For over twenty years she has taught English and theater in inner-city public high schools in the Bronx and Harlem, New York; Minneapolis, Minnesota; New Mexico; and Texas; she has also taught college composition, literature, and speech in these areas. He is also remembered for bequeathing his Yonkers, New York estate, now known as Untermyer Park, to the people of New York State. Aleister Crowley (/ˈæleɪstər ˈkroʊli/; born Edward Alexander Crowley; 12 October 1875 – 1 December 1947) was an English occultist, ceremonial magician, poet, painter, novelist, and mountaineer. He founded the religion of Thelema, identifying himself as the prophet entrusted with guiding humanity into the Æon of Horus in the early 20th century. A prolific writer, he published widely over the course of his life. Some biographers allege that here he was recruited into a British intelligence agency, further suggesting that he remained a spy throughout his life. In 1898, he joined the esoteric Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, where he was trained in ceremonial magic by Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers and Allan Bennett. Born on September 14, 1983, in Southgate, London, she became one of the most celebrated and controversial artists of her time. Winehouse’s rise to fame began with her debut album, “Frank” (2003), which received critical acclaim and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. However, it was her second album, “Back to Black” (2006), that catapulted her to international stardom. This album included hits like “Rehab,” “You Know I’m No Good,” and “Back to Black,” and won five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Rehab.” Despite her success, Winehouse’s career was often overshadowed by her personal struggles with substance abuse, mental health issues, and tumultuous relationships, particularly with her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil. Fishbone first assembled in 1979 with John Norwood Fisher (bass), his brother Philip "Fish" Fisher (drums), Angelo Moore (vocals, saxophones and theremin), Kendall Jones (guitar), "Dirty" Walter A. Kibby II (vocals, trumpet), and Christopher Dowd (keyboards, trombone, vocals). They achieved their greatest commercial success in the late 1980s and early 1990s, after which they went through many personnel changes. From 2003 to 2010, John Norwood Fisher and Angelo Moore were the last remaining original members of the band. In the 2010s, all the other original members except Kendall Jones rejoined the band for various reunions and anniversary activities. UFO are an English rock band that was formed in London in 1968.They became a transitional group between early hard rock and heavy metal and the new wave of British heavy metal. The band's current lineup includes vocalist Phil Mogg, lead guitarist Vinnie Moore, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Neil Carter, bass guitarist Rob De Luca, and drummer Andy Parker. They have gone through several line-up changes, leaving Mogg as the only constant member, and had two hiatuses (1983–1984 and again from 1989 to 1991). The band are also notable for featuring former Scorpions guitarist and MSG founder Michael Schenker, who was a member of UFO from 1973 to 1978 and again, occasionally, between 1993 and 2003, when Moore replaced him. Richard Reinhardt (born August 11, 1957) is an American drummer best known by his stage name Richie Ramone, and for being the drummer for the punk band the Ramones, from February 1983 until August 1987. He was the only Ramones drummer to be credited as the sole composer and writer of a Ramone's song, writing six in total and as of 2020, he is one of the four surviving members of the band (the others being Marky Ramone, Elvis Ramone, and C.J. RockerMike and Rob Presents: John F. Noone

I grew up in a small hamlet on Long Island called Floral Park. I am the youngest of eight siblings and the only one born in Floral Park. My mom was pregnant with me when we moved into our storybook home in 1963. I am now sixty years old and have lived in many places, but to this day, the majority of my dreams take place in my childhood home of Floral Park. About a year ago I had a dream that I was helping my mother retrieve some boxes from the attic. There was an unfinished section of the attic where my dad laid plywood across the rafters and we stored boxes of Christmas decorations, empty suitcases and bric-a-brac.

In this dream, my mother asked me to bring her a cardboard box. But as I got close to it, I saw a bird's nest with a strange looking skeleton curled up inside. When I picked up the nest I awoke and immediately wrote down every detail I could remember. I could still see the strange skeleton with my eyes half closed, trying not to forget what it looked like, I quickly drew it with a ballpoint pen.

The next day as I re-read my scribbled notes and studied the skeleton drawing I thought, 'what the heck does this mean'?

And so I started writing my novel, 'The Plain Field'. In little over a year I have finished the three books of this trilogy.

Releasing soon will be my second book, 'The Plain Field / Shadow Twins' and then the finale, "The Plain Field / Eyes and Ash'.

Noone’s debut novel, “The Plain Field,” is set in his childhood home of Floral Park. The story follows the O’Hare family as they move into a house on Plainfield Avenue, uncovering local folklore and hidden truths intertwined with their own family’s secrets. The narrative delves into themes of mystery and the supernatural, reflecting the enigmatic allure of Floral Park.

In addition to his writing, Noone draws inspiration from his dreams and life experiences, often incorporating them into his storytelling. He credits his “healthy Irish ability to exaggerate” as a contributing factor to his creative process.

Noone has engaged with his local community through events such as book signings and Q&A sessions, including one held at the Floral Park Knights of Columbus to celebrate the release of “The Plain Field.”

They have never stopped touring and recording although there have been several ups and downs and changes over the years.  They sadly lost Lonesome Dave Peverett in 2000 and Rod Price in 2005, but Roger Earl kept banging & kicking to keep Foghat’s musical legacy going. Foghat celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2021, and their live performances show why the band is still around and why they will be able to keep on rockin’ as long as they want to play! Their music is timeless, and touring is part of their DNA.
