Having earned her Master of Social Work at Gallaudet University, Townsend has had the privilege to learn about disability from a cultural framework and is passionate about full communication access for all of our neighbors. Townsend lives in Washington, D.C., and spends her free time cheering on her favorite sports teams, watching nature documentaries, and trying new coffee shops.
