Czechoslovakian Petr Jákl has lived two different lives! First he was an Olympic level Judokan. That led to being a stuntman in films like Vin Diesel's 'XXX'. 'Midnighters' is a Hitchcock-style, modern thriller done on an indie budget and it definitely deserves a place on your radar! Before watching Jon Schnitzer's documentary 'Haunters' I thought that haunted houses, haunted hayrids and local horror nights were just a Halloween time event! Boy was I wrong! It turns out that "haunts" not only happen year round but sometimes spring up right in our back yard! My friend Xaque Gruber wrote and directed a semi-autobiographical film about meeting his idol Sally Kirkland... and that's just the start of the crazy story. But how much of it is true?
