She also shared with us about #HappyPeriod, an award winning organization she founded and the first Black-led menstrual movement advocating for wellness through decolonized health education and cultural change.

Nadia Lune is The Pleasure Witch, and she joined us for this very special conversation to offer us a glimpse into her world of ritual, ecstasy, pleasure, spirit, and self-liberation, to help us explore our own power and life force energy, with pleasure as the medium. 

We discussed how to build a consensual relationship to our own body, how to tune into, and speak to, our bodies, how to maintain consistent connection with spirit and really be intentional about prioritizing our practices, how to move beyond traditional expectations of what sex should look like, and how to build more capacity for the full spectrum of the human experience. Kris most recently released the book titled "Fat Girl Dancing", a memoir written over many years, which really digs into the question, why do we make it so difficult for fat people to live in this world? Kris invites us to reconsider over and over again our perceptions of bodies in this world, particularly feminized and gender non-conforming bodies, and how beauty standards deeply trouble our perspective. Alysha is a queer sex educator and youth care worker based in Vancouver, Canada, and we got to sit down with her to get curious about her experience teaching sex education in high schools, how it looks to teach youth sex ed from a pleasure-based, inclusive, queer lens, and how this differs from her work and experiences with adults. We also got to chat about useful sex ed resources, how to get curious and provide safety, and the importance of personal pleasure practices, gender identity, the fluidity of always becoming more of ourselves, and how to relax and sink into the beauty of our ever evolving selves. You'll want to grab a pen and paper for this one y'all, we were taking notes for sure!

We chatted with Heidi about ageing, beauty standards, fashion at 63, and how we can give less fucks as we get older. Heidi is a woman and also forever a girl, reminding us that we are always learning, and as long as we stay true to ourselves we will find our own way.
