This episode is a strictly FA Cup quarter-final free zone, as we look ahead to Fulham's return to action against a Jekyll and Hide Bournemouth side. We look at the threat that the Cherries will pose, and how FFC can set-up without Mitro and Willian.
Also in this episode, we chat to Jon Mackenzie from Tifo, who has recently done a video all about how Fulham are exceeding their underlying numbers this season. We chat about our differing record against top and bottom half teams, and the importance of Bernd Leno in net. You can check out Jon's video here.
Finally, we have some questions about Tom Cairney's captaincy and Tony Khan's perception, before This'll Catch On as ever.

08 Aug 2024 | Thursday Club: We Dreamed of Ream | 01:19:00
"We dreamed of Ream, oh what a guy..."
It's a sad day in SW6 as the club parts ways with our very own Captain America, the Cottage Colossus of Tim Ream, whose move to Charlotte was confirmed on Wednesday. There's a little bit of time to pay our tributes to a man who has served Fulham Football Club with distinction over the past nine years, as well as a moment to relive one of the best ever This'll Catch On's in his honour.
Before we get to that emotional farewell though, there's a bit of pre-season to discuss too, so Jack and Sammy are joined by Jack Kelly, who has been covering the games in the Algarve, to get his thoughts on the camp as a whole, the two performances against Sevilla and Benfica, and where Fulham are in our preparations for the season beginning in 8 (!!!) days.
There's also some transfer talk, including the latest on the André saga, with news coming out of Brazil that Fluminense's willingness to put their star midfielder on the market is growing again, as well as some thoughts on where the squad needs augmenting before the window closes at the end of August.

24 Oct 2022 | The Firing Squad | 01:02:47
Pinch us. Fulham picked up their fifth win of the season on Sunday, a magical 3-2 victory at Elland Road to haul the Whites up to seventh in the Premier League. We react to everything that happened in the game, from Leeds' fast start, to our meticulous gameplan that saw the boys break Marsch's press time after time.
We wax lyrical over Harrison Reed and ask whether he should be getting a late England call-up, plus we heap praise on Willian and Andreas too. We also discuss Fulham's chopping and changing defence, which conceded yet more goals, but frankly when we can score this many, do we actually need to worry?
Finally, in part three, Sammy chats to Drew, Stephen and Justin from Fulham Texas, an international FFC supporters club based in Austin. He went to the Hopsquad Brewing Company, where Whites fans in Austin congregate for each game, normally bright and early.

In today's episode we have the final word on Sunday's demolition job on the hammers before diving into the positivity that ensues from the big German signing a new deal. Also, we preview Saturday's trip to Newcastle. Do their injuries and exerts in Europe give us hope? Finally, we answer some of your emails on Tom Cairney's tackling and whether Lasse Vigen Christensen was snubbed in our nordic XI.

23 Sep 2019 | Another hOWLing Draw | 00:46:04
Another day, another draw. HMS Piss the League seemed to throw down a big hairy anchor on Saturday in the shape of Sheffield Wednesday's lumbering striker Atdhe Nuhiu, who neutralised Captain Carney's smart finish on the stroke of half time to leave proceedings at Hillsborough 1-1. It was another frustrating draw for Scott Parker's boys: 71% possession, 600 odd passes, but with only 2 shots on target, our engine room seems to be firing on half a cylinder.
Is top 2 still on the horizon? Do we need to shake up our attack? Has this ship metaphor been drawn-out too long? Our thoughts on all of these topics and more inside this week's podcast.
We look back at Saturday's action (or lack thereof) with Scotty's tactics (or lack thereof) once again coming into question. We also discuss the importance of Friday's game against Wigan and take a look at your questions.

15 Jan 2018 | The Olliewood Moment | 01:01:49
The Hollywood Moment: A moment of great drama or sentimentality, usually at the climax or zenith of a narrative.
It seems only fitting then, that it was Fulham's very own 'name in lights' midfielder who was the man to win and convert the penalty that snatched the three points at the death on Teesside.
The Fulhamish boys convene to discuss the heist that took place at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday afternoon, hear all about the latest episode of Dom's North-Eastern adventures and ponder over whether a victory is papering over some of the cracks that still exist within the squad.
There's a whole host of new transfer rumours to mull over, especially regarding a prospective bid for Tom Cairney from Fulham fan Alan Pardew at West Bromwich Albion, and we talk about Tony Khan's reassuring statement regarding the future of Ryan Sessegnon as well.

31 Aug 2022 | Dunk, in - Doughnut | 01:09:43
What a joy it was to record this Thursday Club after a fantastic Tuesday night victory, under the lights, against an in-form and (until last night) undefeated Brighton & Hove Albion side.
It was a fascinating tactical contest, which burst into life after our Serbian King, Alexander ‘can he do it in the Prem?’ Mitrovic slid onto the end of a Neeskens Kebano cross-come-shot to put us 1 up early in the second half.
The Whites doubled their lead thanks to an own goal from Brighton’s centre back Lewis Dunk, who’s tidy finish wrong-footed Robert Sanchez.
Just moments later, A VAR penalty decision went against BDR, and Alexis Mac Allister slotted home to give us, and the neutral at home, a scintillating final 30.
We call it game management, Brighton fans may call it time wasting - but whatever your persuasion, Fulham defended superbly to earn the 3 points. Currently 6th in the table. 5 in 5 for Mitro. What a time to be alive! Fulham are a joy to watch, at the highest standard of domestic club football.
What a pod we have in store for you today. We’ll analyse yesterday game, then in part 2 we’ll answer your questions and look ahead to transfer deadline day… before wrapping up with a preview of Saturday’s game against Spurs.
14 Nov 2018 | Time To Say Goodbye | 00:44:37

Of course we give our instant reactions to the news, but we also reflect on the following:
- Our gratitude to Slav
- Why the timing makes sense
- What will Claudio bring?
- Other potential candidates

06 Aug 2021 | 21/22 Fulham Season Preview | 01:04:47
Here we go then, another season back in the Championship for Fulham. Whilst the location may be familiar, the circumstances are certainly not, with FFC being hot favourites to not just get promoted, but win the division.
In this episode we discuss whether the Whites deserve this title, and whether the performance against Charlton in the final pre-season friendly gave us any clues to how we will fare this season.
In part two, we give our predictions for the season, including a glance at how some of our competitors in the division will do. In part three, we answer your questions, and yes, Peter gives us a transfer update.
06 Nov 2017 | Kline's Up, Craig! | 00:50:38
Fulham's performance against Wolves on Friday was a limp display which basically summed up the feelings of discomfort surrounding the club after the backroom unrest which dominated the headlines at the club over the past week.
The boys take apart a thoroughly disappointing trip up to the Black Country, and talk about whether Fulham's lack of heart and spirit is the fault of the management or the turmoil behind the scenes.
There's also a full discussion of what happens next after what we're now calling 'Klinegate' and a defence of how analytics can work if they're wielded in conjunction with real footballing knowledge, and by the right personnel.
As always, there's time for your questions and we try and give a full round-up and analysis of the events that have rocked the FFC world.

10 Aug 2021 | Fulham Castaway Win | 00:50:25
Oh it's good to be back. 17 months after Craven Cottage last experienced a home crowd, Fulham also rolled back time by conceding a late equaliser to a team they had dominated for much of the match.
In this podcast we reflect on Fulham's 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough at Craven Cottage, with impressive cameos, notable absentees and promising academy debuts all on display.
We also answer your questions, which include debates around Tom Cairney's future, Gazzaniga and the contract situation around Fabio Carvalho.
16 Aug 2021 | Mitro's Mishap Miracle | 00:58:12
It was a game that had everything, bizarre goalkeeping, beautiful goals and even a red card to boot. We try and cram in analysis on everything that happened in 90 pulsating minutes.
Afterwards, we tackle your questions, including some new FFC transfer rumours, the future of Jean Michael-Seri and what the ceiling is for young Fabio Carvalho.
Finally, we have a quick preview of Millwall on Tuesday night.
19 Aug 2021 | Den and Dusted | 00:54:58
It seems churlish to call a 2-1 win a "thrashing", but that's exactly what Tuesday's win at Millwall felt like, as the Whites blitzed the lions at The Den, and in this episode we look back at all the key moments from the match.
We discuss the blistering start, as Fabio Carvalho ripped Gary Rowett's team apart, and then the overall performance as Fulham attacked with wave after wave, before eventually having to hang on after Benik Afobe's extremely fortunate late goal pulled Millwall back into the contest.
In part two, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours, with a few potential incoming signings, and worrying rumours of Tosin potentially touted as a Jan Vestergaard replacement at Southampton.
Finally, we discuss the weekend's match against Hull, as Fulham look to win their first game at Craven Cottage in 6 months.
23 Aug 2021 | Seri Seri Sauce | 00:58:15
It was about as routine as it gets for Fulham on Saturday, as Marco Silva's side swept past his former team Hull City at Craven Cottage.
We discuss the star of the show, Fabio Carvalho, as he got his third goal in as many games. We also look at the injuries to Ream and Tete, and what impact they could potentially have if either of them need a lengthy spell out on the sidelines.
In part two, we answer some of your questions, which include analysis on Rodak v Gazzaniga, and suggestions for improving the atmosphere at Craven Cottage.
Finally, we briefly preview Tuesday night's Carabao Cup trip to Birmingham.
26 Aug 2021 | Streamless But Seamless | 00:57:05
Marco Silva rang the changes for Tuesday's trip to St Andrew's, with academy products Stansfield, Pajaziti and Francois all featuring.
However, the result remained consistent, as FFC chalked up another W and progressed to the third round where we'll face Leeds United (4/10 on Sammy's new 'Kettering Spectrum' - all explained in the podcast).
We then look ahead to the stern test that Stoke City will pose on Saturday. With both sides sitting pretty on 10 points from 4 games, it's clear that this will be Fulham's most difficult match of the season. How will Silva adapt with Ream, Tete and Carvalho all potential doubts for the match?
Finally, we have a discussion at the end of the podcast about whether Fulham are in a position to stop becoming a yo-yo club.
30 Aug 2021 | Harry Expels Potters | 01:03:25
We could get really, really used to this. All the reaction to Fulham's 3-0 win against Stoke City at Craven Cottage, as the Whites steamrolled past the much fancied Potters with ease.
In part two, we look at all the latest transfer rumours as Anguissa heads closer to the exit. Will Swansea's Matt Grimes be his replacement?
Finally, we answer your questions - which includes a debate about a potential boxing match against a fellow podcast, watch this space...
02 Sep 2021 | Deadline Day Double | 01:02:25
Fulham looked to Marco Silva's old club Watford on Deadline Day to bring in midfield reinforcements in the shape of Nathaniel Chalobah and Domingos Quina, as Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa left for the culinary delights and European football of Napoli.
Jack and Peter talk through how the day went down, who Fulham were in for, and how the new boys will fit into the midfield rotation.
Then we take a glance over the window as a whole, and how it's been a far more pleasant experience this time round - are Fulham finally learning the lessons of the past to build a squad that can compete and doesn't need huge reinvestment if we are promoted?
Finally, we talk to Brazilian journalist and Flamengo expert Cahê Mota to get some insight on the elusive, mysterious No. 9 option that is Rodrigo Muniz - our new boy from Brazil.
07 Sep 2021 | The Big Interview: Tim Ream | 01:03:10
If you compare the Fulham in 2015 to the one we see today, it's pretty unrecognisable. One constant though, is American centre-back Tim Ream, who has experienced an extraordinary sequence of highs and lows since joining the Fulhamerica bandwagon from Bolton six years ago.
In this latest 'big interview', we catch up with Tim and discuss his memories at Fulham, his newly found foray into social media, his endeavours outside of FFC and what he makes of the team that Marco Silva has built this season.
Tim's school initiative is called Virtual Soccer Schools and can be found here: https://virtualsoccerschools.com/

29 Feb 2024 | Thursday Club: Going For Gull'd | 01:03:13
After Saturday’s incredible victory against Manchester United, Fulham look to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since early December this weekend, as Brighton visit Craven Cottage. In this episode, we look at whether some notable absences for the seagulls can help Fulham to put more pressure on the sides above.
And of course, we analyse Saturday’s magnificent display in more detail. Peter lifts the lid on Fulham’s tactical approach, as Silva’s side ran through the United midfield time after time after time.
Also we answer your questions on throw-ins, the lack of media attention and poor referee timekeeping. Finally, we finish with a This’ll Catch On.

09 Sep 2021 | Blackpool, Kevin McDonald, Thomas Young | 00:51:08
The international break has finished, and Fulham are back on the road this Saturday, all the way to Blackpool for what will hopefully be a top day out by the seaside, with three points to match.
We kick off the episode by rounding up the international break, with several Fulham players in action, and a potential injury worry for Harry Wilson. We then take a look at the Seasiders, who have not had an easy start to life back in the Championship.
In part two, we have audio from Peter's interview with Kevin McDonald, who was released by Fulham last year and recently underwent a kidney transplant. He talks about how he left the club, his hopes of playing football again, and why he believes the midfield trio of him, Cairney and Johansen should have got a chance in the Premier League.
Finally, we catch up with Thomas Young, who is back from Tokyo after winning gold in the T38 100m event. Thomas is a big Fulham fan, and will be at Blackpool on Saturday, so we asked him about his favourite FFC memories, and whether he will take part in a race against Antonee Robinson.
16 Sep 2021 | Trillion Tosin Tackles | 00:55:05
We were hoping for a reaction to Saturday's defeat at Blackpool, and we certainly got one. Fulham found their scoring boots once again, as they stuck four past a Birmingham City side that were the championship's meanest defence, until yesterday.
In this episode, we discuss the brilliance across the pitch, with Harry Wilson, Tosin, Gazzaniga and debutant Nathanial Chalobah all playing key roles in the win.
In part two, we look ahead to Reading, and in particular, how do you stop John Swift? However, with the Royals possessing the leakiest defence in the league, we're hoping that Fulham's potent attack should be able to pick them off.
Finally, we discuss Adrion Pajaziti and reminisce over Pavel Pogrebnyak's electric start to life in a Fulham shirt back in 2012
13 Sep 2021 | The International Brake | 00:56:14
The hangover from the international break spilled over into Fulham's trip to the seaside on Saturday as Marco Silva's Whites hit the first speed bump of the season, beaten by Neil Critchley's bold Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
We break down a game in which Fulham looked leggy, a little tired, and seemingly out of ideas without the magic of Fabio Carvalho pulling the strings.
We also answer your questions on squad rotation and the first glimpses of Rodrigo Muniz.
There's no time to weep in the Championship though, and we go again on Wednesday at St. Andrew's, so we look ahead at our next opponents and how their start of the season has been, before picking our starting lineups for the game.
20 Sep 2021 | Royal Rumble Crumble | 00:49:07
What a f**king frustrating match... The Championship can be a cruel mistress at times, and on Saturday it just wasn't our day. A superbly taken Ejaria brace gave Reading a 2-1 smash-and-grab victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, blowing HMS Piss the League slightly (and hopefully temporarily) off course.
Fulham started well, looking lively and creating chances. However, it was our inability to take those chances that ultimately cost us. Rodrigo Muniz's first Fulham goal offered a consolation to the home supporters, on what was otherwise a pretty grim September Saturday at Craven Cottage.
Coops, JK, AF and Dan break down Fulham's performance, discuss our best attacking options, answer your questions and briefly look ahead to our Carabao Cup tie against Leeds on Tuesday night.
23 Sep 2021 | Don't Carabao It | 00:58:54
Despite playing against a strong Premier League XI, Fulham's second string performed admirably against Leeds United on Tuesday in the Carabao Cup third round, and it took 9 penalties each for the match to finally be settled.
In this podcast we look at which players will have given Marco Silva a selection headache, and a couple who probably won't. We also review the performance of Rodrigo Muniz, with the young Brazilian showing us real glimpses of promise, even if it was ultimately a frustrating night for him.
We then discuss Alfie Mawson, who Peter caught up with after the match. His return to fitness has been one of the real positives this season, and we ask if he might be in contention for a starting berth at centre-back.
Finally, we preview the trip to Bristol City on Saturday. The home side haven't won a league game since the end of January, I think we can all see where this may head...
27 Sep 2021 | Rhys Porter's Blawhiarmy | 00:58:37
Fulham may have scored more than any other side in the Championship, but after Saturday, it's hard to know how, as FFC somehow failed to win at Ashton Gate against a stubborn, but limited Bristol City side.
We look back at the numerous missed opportunities, and how Fulham's lack of game management failed to deal with Nigel Pearson's second half tactical switch.
Afterwards, we attempt to mythbust the Fabio Carvalho conspiracy, praise the Seri/Reed midfield combination and convince ourselves that it's fine to safely withdraw our hands from the 'panic' button.
Finally, we preview Wednesday's game against Swansea City at the Cottage.
30 Sep 2021 | Matchball For Mitro | 01:01:07
Ten in ten, and has he even fully hit his stride yet? We look back on a wonderful evening for Aleksandar Mitrovic, as the Serbian striker slayed the swans on Wednesday, with a first-half finishing fiesta.
We look back at all the key talking points from the game, a much needed win that puts FFC back in touch with the automatic promotion places. We also take a look at how Fulham's tactics are better suited to certain teams, following Peter's post-match analysis in The Athletic.
Finally, we preview Coventry City away, a team that we haven't faced in the league, remarkably, since 1968!
06 Jan 2020 | It's A Knockaert! | 00:55:58
Two wonder strikes from Anthony Knockaert and Harry Arter meant that Fulham won an FA Cup game for the first time in nearly three years, beating our old Playoff final friends Aston Villa in the 'Doing A Fulham' Derby. We look back at the system Fulham went for, Michael Hector's debut, Arter's return from the treatment table, Knockaert's performance and a special day for young Jay Stansfield.
There's also a section dedicated to Matt O'Riley, about his continued development and his performance in the Reading game, before we answer the best of your questions.

31 Jan 2018 | The Big Interview: Brede Hangeland | 00:45:05
There are few names more sacred in the 21st-Century Fulham pantheon than that of Brede Hangeland, who made 270 caps for the Whites and formed one half of the partnership fondly remembered as the 'Thames Barrier'. It was an absolute pleasure, therefore, to welcome the great man as the first ever 'Big Interview' on Fulhamish.
We spent 45 minutes talking to Brede, covering everything from the Great Escape, through the European years and through the dark days of Martin Jol and Felix Magath; with anecdotes about Aaron Hughes, Dimitar Berbatov and Jimmy Bullard sprinkled through for good measure.
There's plenty of chat about the stewardship of Roy Hodgson, who Hangeland felt a special connection with; about the other ways in which managers related to him; we touch on the ecstasy and the agony he felt in his spell with Fulham; and finally get to the bottom of the Felix Magath debacle. There's time to grab Brede's all-time Fulham XI and his thoughts on former international teammate and current midfield dynamo Stefan Johansen at the end.

07 Feb 2022 | First Goal Wins | 01:07:46
As cup upsets go, 92 seconds is maybe one of the shortest of all time. That was the duration that Fulham lead for at The Etihad stadium before Pep Guardiola's juggernaut turned the game around.
In this episode we discuss a front-footed performance from Fulham, who for large swathes looked more than a match for the Premier League champions. We then ask whether the performance can give Fulham hope should promotion be the final outcome of this season.
Afterwards, we take your questions before previewing Tuesday night's game against Millwall at the Cottage.
26 Feb 2018 | To Ream The Impossible Ream | 00:52:05
Breathless. Magnificent. Sublime. Wins don't get much better than playing the runaway best side in the division at their own game, and absolutely blowing them away.
Having had two days to reflect and contemplate on what is simply one of Fulham's best performances in a long time, the Fulhamish boys sit down to discuss the game, what it means in the bigger picture, and how Fulham can harness this form until the end of the season.
There's plenty of discussion about the imperious Tim Ream, who, alongside KMac, has become the rock on which Slavisa has built his church; as well as the impact of Aleksandar Mitrovic, who was an absolute menace for 90 minutes to a Wolves back line which has rarely been troubled all season.
There are simply not enough words to describe the unbelievable goalscoring form of Ryan Sessegnon, who is the undoubted reigning Prince of Craven Cottage, and it is simply a pleasure to watch him continue to develop in front of our eyes. We take all sorts of questions from across the board to wrap things up in the usual way!

10 Feb 2022 | The Fulham Family | 01:03:20
In this podcast we reflect on an emotional evening at Craven Cottage as Fulham ran out 3-0 winners over Millwall, and everyone paid their respects to Paul Parish who sadly passed away during Fulham's match against Blackpool.
Later on, we discuss Aleksandar Mitrovic's incredible goalscoring record, as he reached a sensational 30 goals for the season so far. We also look back at Neco Williams' debut and whether we will expect to see more of Nathaniel Chalobah in the middle of the park.
Finally, we preview Saturday's trip to Hull and read a brilliant email about the mathematics of what Fulham need to secure promotion.
Plus, there are not one, but two Boney M suggestions in today's "this'll catch on" segment.
14 Feb 2022 | Another Ream Sheet | 00:58:37
For all of Fulham's attacking masterclasses this season, it's narrow wins like this that might be the real difference makers. In this episode, we look back at the 1-0 win at Hull City, on a wet, windy and cold day with a slow, sodden pitch to boot.
In part two, we take a look at the wider Championship promotion race, as Fulham extend their lead over third place to 11 points. We ask what Marco Silva's side requires to secure that coveted automatic promotion prize.
Finally, we have time for your questions, with the form and future of record-equalling Aleksandar Mitrovic at the heart of many of them.
17 Feb 2022 | Points-Per-Game, Mitro's Record, Huddersfield | 01:07:49
It may be foolish, but in today's episode we start by looking at the table situation for Marco Silva's team. With QPR and Blackburn dropping points, we analyse how many points-per-game Fulham actually need to secure that all important top two spot.
We also have a few other topics on the agenda, with Fulham's right-back situation under the microscope, as well as Mitrovic's quest to become the all-time highest scorer in the second-tier.
Also, there's some of your correspondence on away days and the next youth player to break through from the academy, before we finish with an excellent round of "this'll catch on", featuring Rihanna and the Isreali folk song, Hava Nagila.

21 Feb 2022 | Two Terrier-able Touches | 01:03:35
As Storm Eunice battered the UK, it was a defiant gust from the North that caused havoc on the banks of the Thames on Saturday… A lapse in concentration and a soft penalty gave Huddersfield the advantage before half time, and despite a spirited 2nd half display from Fulham and a late BDR goal, the visitors gleefully left SW6 with 3 points. It was a meeting of 2 teams that were, at the time, undefeated in 2022 (Huddersfield are now unbeaten in 13) and it’s fair to say that Huddersfield put in a very good performance. It was an interesting, albeit frustrating, game with plenty of discussion points. Coops, Lydia, Singer and Farell unpick what went wrong for the boys in White following their home defeat to The Terriers.

The boys focus on Alexander Mitrovic… our spiritual king… after he SMASHED Ivan Toney’s Championship goalscoring record. He’s now scored 33 goals, with 14 games to go, averaging more than a goal a game. What a player… what a man. Enjoy.

28 Feb 2022 | Mitro's Open Space | 00:50:36
In this episode we analyse FFC's narrow 1-0 win at Cardiff City. We discuss Mitrovic's 34th goal of the season and the extremely fractious nature of the match. There's also some analysis about why Fulham's rate of goals has decreased from the free-scoring rate seen back in January.
Afterwards, we have time for some of your questions, which include questions about which other teams we'd like to see promoted, whether a midfield pairing of Seri and Chalobah could work going forward, and the impressive form of Sonny Hilton for the U23s.
Finally, we preview the fixtures that Fulham face in March, as the end of the season draws nearer.
03 Mar 2022 | Gritty wins, U23's title, Blackburn | 01:06:09
In this episode we look-back at our win at Cardiff City, as Fulham make a new habit of winning games by a narrow margin.
Afterwards, we discuss the U23s and their confirmation as champions of the Premier League 2 Division 2 with five games to spare. We also look at academy players that have got away, and try to make a starting XI out of them.
In part two, we preview Blackburn Rovers, as they look to avenge November's 7-0 defeat at Ewood Park. Finally, we answer some correspondence about the Mario Balotelli to Fulham rumour and there are some corkers in "This'll Catch On".
02 Feb 2023 | Depth Not Debts | 01:10:54
The safest bet in football these days is that Fulham will always be the busiest club on Transfer Deadline Day, and once again it was another free-flowing day at Motspur Park.
In total, there were five first team movements. We look at what Sasa Lukic and Cedric Soares will bring to the side, plus look-back at Josh Onomah and Nathaniel Chalobah's best moments in black and white.
In part two, we preview Friday's SW6 Derby at Stamford Bridge, before answering your emails on rivalries and the real definition of 'Fulhamish'. Finally, there's space for a couple of entries to 'This'll Catch On'

- Sess' golden opportunity
- A penalty disagreement
- Vietto's bad touch

In this episode we begin with our thoughts on all football matches being postponed at the weekend due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
We then discuss Fulham's statistically tricky start to the season before reviewing the latest FFC news. This includes Luke Harris' call-up to the senior Wales side, transfers for Anthony Knockaert and Ivan Cavaleiro, plus the sad news of Fred Callaghan's death.
In part two, we preview Friday's trip to Nottingham Forest, as Fulham look to inflict more home misery on our fellow promotees. Will the break have given their multiple signings time to gel?
Finally, we have time for some of your questions, and a couple of brilliant "this'll catch on" entries.
07 Jul 2020 | Harry Arter, Lumberjack | 00:53:14
Three wins. Two clean sheets. Two unlikely heroes. One howitzer. None with Mitro. Harry Arter was at it again as Fulham secured an important away win against play off rivals Nottingham Forest. An excellent professional performance from Fulham saw them contain Forest and slowly transform in to a play-off style outfit. We then get a view from the opposition camp, as Jack speaks to NiiNii FC of Blue Lions TV; and to round things off Dom and the boys interviewed Barry Hayles on our LoveSport radio show, talking about why Fulham were better last weekend and how they can move forward.

The first win of the season is always a sweet one, especially when it comes from the first home outing. Craven Cottage was alive with optimism on Saturday, after goals from new signing Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi got us over the line against the Foxes.
Fulham were the better team throughout the game. This, paired with a "feel good factor" around the club, a brilliant manager, and exciting new signings yet to be fully bedded in, and there are many reasons to be cheerful this week.
In part 1 we discuss the game; what ESR is capable of within this Fulham side, the manner in which we conceded, and the midfield conundrum. In part 2 we answer some of your questions.

29 Apr 2019 | Unlucky, Colin | 00:59:36
In this week's episode of Fulhamish, we took a look back at the game against Cardiff City, as Scotty Parker's Whites won for a third (!) time in a row, whilst keeping a third consecutive clean sheet (!!). We know, we can't quite believe it either.
Aside from helping the Bluebirds towards the trap door which we've already fallen through, there was a Ryan Babel wondergoal to discuss, and also a fair discussion on whether Scotty P has earned the top job with these three performances.
There's plenty of transfer talk too, as we took the opportunity to open a mailbag full of questions about next season, the summer, the squad and where we need to strengthen, before finishing off with a quick discussion about our impending trip to Molineux and the weirdest reasons you've heard as to why someone doesn't like Fulham.

Two defeats from two, and things are looking a little bit more gloomy at Craven Cottage than they were a week ago - and with Brentford and Leeds on the horizon, something needs to change quickly if we’re to reassert any sort of challenge on the automatic spots.
Sammy James and Jack Collins break down our visit to Deepdale and the chaos of our 2-1 defeat in which the second half was played 10 v 10, before taking a deeper look into Scott Parker’s tactics, Fulham’s lack of cohesiveness and just why we can’t seem to get going early in games.
Then, there’s a quick look at our final ever league visit to Griffin Park to take on the noisy neighbours from TW8 - our hopes, fears and concerns for Saturday, and where the game will be won and lost.

09 Nov 2018 | Liverpool Preview + Rob Scott Interview (Xtra) | 00:43:21
When you're on a run of five consecutive defeats, the last thing a team really needs is a trip to Anfield to face an unbeaten Liverpool. That however, is the prospect that Fulham face on Sunday. In this podcast Dom, Guy and Cam look ahead to the fiendishly difficult test that awaits Slav and the boys in the North-West.
Then we get an opposition lowdown from John Gibbons of The Anfield Wrap. For those unaware, TAW is one of the most famous club podcasts in the world, producing 10 podcasts a week to its army of loyal listeners. It was great to meet John and get an esteemed Liverpool perspective on the game. As you might imagine, he's confident of a routine victory.
Finally, Dom and the boys speak to former Fulham forward Rob Scott, who gives his perspective on the current crisis facing Slavisa Jokanovic.

It might not have been the result that Fulham wanted at Anfield, but a vastly improved performance was a welcome relief, and it took a refereeing error to break down Fulham's staunch first half resilience in Liverpool.
We break it down, and extract all of the juiciest talking points from Fulham's visit to Merseyside:
- Calum Chambers: The CDM we never knew we needed
- Sergio Rico's masterclass
- The 13 seconds of madness
- Not a great second half
- Did quality out?

15 Mar 2018 | QPR Preview + TOOFIF Interview (Xtra) | 00:44:57
There's not normally much extra spice needed on Derby Day, but this weekend's clash with QPR is about far more than bragging rights for Fulham, it's about keeping the pressure up on Cardiff & Villa as the Whites desperately try and steal that automatic promotion spot.
Standing in our way are a Rangers team that have little to play for, and are hell-bent on spoiling our promotion campaign. We preview what challenge the R's will pose to Fulham and speak to one of their fans, Gareth Dixon, about Saturday's clash.
At the end of this show Sammy speaks to David Lloyd, editor of Fulham fanzine TOOFIF, which is celebrating its 30th birthday this year. David speaks about how the fanzine started, the highs and lows of running Fulham's most popular fanzine, and how he thinks this could be the year Fulham reach the Premier League once more.

The end of the international break is nigh and Fulham return to the Cottage this weekend to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, who have struggled for form this season but who did pick up their first win before the break against Southampton. We take a look at Gary O'Neil's charges and examine where this game will be won and lost, as well as some of the injuries and system changes that have shaped Wolves' season.
Before that though, there's a look back at the International Whites who were in action - Harry Wilson with another scorcher for Wales as his good form continues, Raul Jimenez's impressive leadership as he helped steer Mexico out of tricky waters, single-game showings for Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Joachim Andersen, an impressive change of role for Antonee Robinson, Timothy Castagne captaining Belgium, and two assists for Sander Berge for Norway.
And there's also time for a little discussion of how Sasa Lukic fits back into this Fulham midfield when he returns from his injury, as well as a couple of your emails to round things off.

Saturday's match against Wolves will not be remembered for Aleksandar Mitrovic's penalty, nor the host of chances Wolves spurned, but for the fiery heat on the pitch and in the stands. In today's episode we look back at what was ultimately quite an uneventful game, with one big opportunity to snag the three points that was sadly not taken.
We discuss Fulham's defence situation, with the incumbents of Tosin, Ream and Rodak all putting in good enough shifts to repel the incoming signings of Diop and Leno from getting into the first team. Will Marco Silva stick to his guns and trust those that have the shirt?
In part two we answer your questions, and then in part three we take a wider look at Fulham's start, the first time we've gone unbeaten in our first two games since 2010.
06 Mar 2019 | Leicester Preview (Xtra) | 00:38:06
An interesting game on Saturday, as both Brendan Rodgers and Scott Parker face their second respective games in charge of Leicester City and Fulham against each other. Both teams have had difficult seasons for a multitude of reasons, and will be looking for three points on Saturday to make things a bit more bearable.
In this episode we look at the challenge Fulham will face at the King Power Stadium, our first league trip to Leicester since 2004 when a certain Collins John bagged a brace. We also predict what line-up we think Scott will select.
In the second part of the episode, we speak to the very insightful Pete Selby of the For Fox Sake podcast. It's an interesting discussion which includes plenty of analysis of Claudio Ranieri, who of course is still a god around Leicestershire for his heroics of 2016.

It doesn’t get any easier for Fulham, as on Sunday Fulham welcome Liverpool to Craven Cottage, who are in the midst of chasing an historic Premier League title. After an impressive 3-1 win in the Champions League on Wednesday, it looks extremely difficult for us to get anything out the match.
Regardless, we look ahead to the challenge, and ask if Scott should make any changes to his line-up. Then we speak to Neil Atkinson from The Anfield Wrap who gives us an insight into what it’s been like following the title-chasers this season.
Finally, we play you what happened when Dom, Guy and Jonny caught up with former Fulham striker Erik Nevland. They spoke about Fulham’s dismal season, and reminisce over some of the great memories he had playing in our beloved white shirt.

No matches to discuss, but still plenty going on in the world of Fulham FC. Jack and Sammy reconvened today to discuss the confirmation of the Riverside stand construction. What does it mean for the future of FFC at Craven Cottage?
The move means there’s lots of ramifications, including the displacement of many fans into the neighbouring Putney and Hammersmith Ends. Also, we discuss the corporate motivations behind the stand, and ask if that’s necessarily a bad thing?
Finally, we delve slightly into the early summer transfer rumours, including the pro’s and con’s of a potential Britt Assombalonga signing. We also look at Ryan Sessegnon’s potential destination, and look at the pre-season announcement.

In 1976, one of the greatest footballers of all time decided to move back from the USA to play football at Craven Cottage. Alongside Rodney Marsh and Bobby Moore, George was part of an all-star Fulham team that attracted crowds back to SW6 with flamboyant football the like of which many FFC fans had never seen before.
In this documentary, we look back at Best's time at Fulham, featuring never-heard-before audio of George talking about his time in South-West London to former programme writer Michael Heatley.
We also hear from TOOFIF editor David Lloyd and long-time Fulham fan Jon Sim, both of whom were lucky enough to witness the Northern Irish legend play his football on our hallowed turf.

We briefly look forward to Saturday's match against Barnsley, which is undoubtedly an essential three points for Scott's team as well as looking at the crazy top 7 as a whole.

10 Oct 2022 | West Hand United | 00:51:41
Well... that was a frustrating afternoon. The sun was shining as The Whites marched on to East London, hoping to put the Newcastle loss behind us.
After a superb opening spell Fulham, who were without Mitrovic, found themselves ahead after Andreas Pereira slammed home from the tightest of angles to open his Fulham account.
But our hero quickly turned villain as the Brazilian was alleged to have fouled Craig Dawson from a corner, with Jarrod Bowen converting from the spot to equalise.
West Ham then took the lead as Scamacca controlled a tidy through ball with his hand before lobbing Bernd Leno. To add insult to injury, in the dying embers, a defensive mix-up presented Michail Antonio (who also controlled the ball with his hand) with a third.
Coops, Drew and Dom discuss an afternoon ruined by bad officiating and incorrect VAR decisions. We hope to put it behind us as we look ahead to an important home fixture against Bournemouth this weekend.

27 Feb 2020 | Fulham Heading Up | 00:21:44
MASSIVE! On today's podcast we celebrate Fulham's vital win over Swansea City, as Aleksandar Mitrovic rises highest in the 94th minute to secure the Whites the three points, less than 10 minutes after missing a penalty at the Hammersmith End.
We discuss a positive overall performance from the Whites, a poor refereeing display which left the visitors reeling, whether the win means we are still in the automatic promotion race and what we can expect from a difficult Preston test on Saturday.

09 Jan 2023 | Don’t Stop ‘Be-Layvin’ | 00:58:10
Now it certainly wasn’t a classic… but Fulham put in a steely and determined performance against in-form Hull to progress to the 4th round of the FA Cup. Their reward: a visit from Sunderland (who currently sit 8th in the Championship) on the 28th January. That’s now 4 straight wins since the return of domestic football after the World Cup! With a number of Premier League FA Cup casualties across the 3rd round, Premier League safety within touching distance, an ever-increasing “feel good factor” around the club this season, and a relatively kind draw… Could this be the year we go on that long-awaited cup run?!
In this episode, Coops, Farrell, Ben Jarman and Fred Cooper analyse Fulham's taming of the tigers, answer some of your questions, and look ahead to Fulham’s clash against Chelsea on Thursday.
19 Feb 2018 | Imperious | 01:04:23
So many superlatives were thrown around at the end of Fulham's win over Villa that we could have spent the entire podcast reeling them off, but the overwhelming feeling is that Fulham's second-half performance was one of the most assured in years against a good side in good form.
Before the Villa game, Fulham were in high spirits, but the Whites' performance took that feeling and sent it soaring into stratospheres of new hope that this could be our year and that we were coming into our stride with our prospects still firmly within our own hands and with time to do something about it.
Villa came into this game having won seven in a row, and making their own charge towards the automatic spots, but if missing their two talismen in Grealish and Adomah wasn't enough, they were stylishly put to the sword by a swashbuckling Fulham side that could (and probably should) have made the scoreline more embarassing for the Birmingham outfit.
We discuss the game in detail before setting our sights on Wednesday's trip to Ashton Gate and a Bristol City side who caused the Whites all sorts of problems in the return fixture at the Cottage earlier this season. As ever, there's plenty of time for questions and a deep discussion about the impact of the new signings that January saw brought in.
Whilst we have your attention for a minute, make sure that you're subscribed to our YouTube channel, which we brightened up this weekend with another Team Matchday Experience. We're active on the classics as well, and more so every week - don't miss our output on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

11 Mar 2024 | Molinreux Those Chances | 00:45:19
Saturday's away defeat to Wolves wasn't Fulham's finest in the season, but it certainly wasn't the worst either. Ultimately the team missed a few big chances, and allowed a heavily injury depleated wolves back into the game, following a dominant second half.
Also in today's episode, we have the final word on Saturday's defeat to Gary O'Neil's side. In part two we we answer loads of your questions, and ask whether Marco was right to leave Joao on the bench.

Fulham are back in action on Friday night as we head to the London Stadium for the first time to face West Ham United. Fulham are looking doomed to Championship life next season, but could a win in the East end give us a glimmer of hope?
In this episode we preview the game, getting an opposition view from Dan Lawless of West Ham Fan TV. 26 Aug 2019 | Robin Hood Robbery | 00:47:39
It was a heavily frustrating afternoon for Fulham on Saturday, as Nottingham Forest came to Craven Cottage and battled (by any means necessary) to three points in SW6. We dissect the game looking at Fulham’s suspect defending, Betts’ positioning, a meek refereeing display and bizarre subs from Scott Parker (that did kind of work).
We then look at Tuesday’s slightly meaningless Carabao Cup game against Southampton before taking on some of your questions, and putting some new player chants on the table.

One of the staples of the Fulhamish podcast this year has been 'This'll Catch On', a weekly round-up of Fulham chant suggestions, which very rarely catch on. Despite a lack of success in the terraces, we've had some incredible submissions that have blown us away in humour and musicality.
To honour all your submissions, we've rounded up our favourite 15 entries from the past 12 months into a chart. Which song will come out on top as the best of the season?

23 Mar 2023 | Disbelief of Suspension | 01:00:40
In this episode of the Thursday Club, George Cooper, Peter Rutzler and Jack Collins give their final thoughts on Sunday's FA Cup quarter final disasterclass against Manchester United, analyse the media frenzy in the fallout from events at Old Trafford, give their opinions on what would be a 'fair' ban, and try and work out how we can turn all this into a positive for the remainder of the season. In part 2 the team answer some of your questions, look ahead to the international break, and listen to a few TWCO entries to lighten the mood.
04 Jan 2022 | The Fulham Drought | 01:04:47
We saw that postponements for Fulham might be coming, but not quite on that scale.
In this episode we look back at FFC's cancelled Christmas, as all three of our opponents over the festive period had to cancel matches against us. We analyse what the fixture backlog could mean for Marco Silva's team, as they look to propel themselves back up the table.
A lack of games means more time for questions, which is fortunate as we had a big festive haul of correspondence. We grade Fulham's season so far, discuss the Mitrovic transfer rumours, Shahid Khan's mess at the Jacksonville Jaguars and whether it's acceptable to have two Christmas dinners.
07 Mar 2018 | Total Football | 00:49:28
Fulham cut open play-off hopefuls Sheffield United on Tuesday night to secure a ninth home victory in a row at Craven Cottage and keep up the pressure on Cardiff and Villa in the hunt for automatic promotion.
We look back on the game and wax lyrical about stand-out performances from captain Tom Cairney and the talismanic Aleksandar Mitrovic, who's signing seems to have been a season changer.
We then look ahead to Saturday's trip to in-form Preston, the last of Fulham's so-called 'big-six' fixtures all against promotion hopeful teams. It promises to be a difficult encounter at Deepdale, but Sammy and Jack are hopeful the Whites can still come out on top.

06 Jan 2022 | Fixture Chaos, Dundee United partnership, FA Cup | 01:00:05
In today's episode, Peter's got the diary out, and we look at exactly how Fulham will fulfil their remaining 23 championship fixtures plus cup matches in just under four months.
We also discuss the partnership between Fulham and Dundee United's academies and how this link represents a transition for the academy post-Brexit. Also, there's a nod to Peter's piece in The Athletic on the boundary-breaking FFC women's team of the 2000s.
In part two, we look forward to Saturday's FA Cup game against Bristol City and we ask whether Marco Silva should play the first team to gain confidence or save them for the upcoming four games in ten days.
Finally, it's time for your emails, which includes a Hugh Grant story and lots of submissions for "this'll catch on" including an excellent Beach Boys suggestion and an Estelle themed song for Denis Odoi.
17 Dec 2018 | Whites Ironed Out | 01:08:25
As the festive season kicked into full swing, Fulham hosted their East London counterparts in the form of West Ham United, and treated the Hammers to a healthy dose of Christmas kindness - in the shape of two gifted goals. A frustrating evening for the Whites was compounded by missed opportunities, lack of effort and a freezing cold Cottage blitzed by driving rain. All in all, a bad afternoon for FFC.
We discussed:
- Fulham's wastefulness in front of goal.
- How difficult we're making it for ourselves.
- Lacklustre defending all round.
- A dire second half.
Then, we took the discussion to the next level on where we go from here:
- January options
- Lack of leaders on the pitch
- How lucky we are to be still in touch
- Who plays against Newcastle
There's, as ever, time for questions, where we talk outrageous ticket prices in far more detail.

10 Jan 2022 | Man City Awaits | 01:12:25
In today’s episode George, Farrell, Stephen and Jack Kelly mull over Fulham's extra-time victory over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
The game may have been uninspiring, but there was still plenty to talk about as the boys rated the individual performances of a few of our fringe players that made the starting eleven.
They also debate whether our lack of fluidity is concerning, or just a by-product of having not played a competitive football match since December 20th! The lads also discuss Fulham's somewhat predictable draw away at Manchester City in the 4th round of the FA Cup...
In part two, we debate the 'limbs' phenomenon that has been a regular feature on Fulham Twitter these past few months. Harmless fun or potentially harmful? Farrell 'Fun Police' Monk outlines safety concerns that have been sent into the Fulham Supporter's Trust, as we try to work out a way all supporters can celebrate in their chosen fashion, without tension or potential injury. There's also a great question about which Fulham player would make the best lumberjack.
Finally, it’s time to "look forward" to a trip to the Madjeski Stadium on Tuesday night, as Fulham take on Reading, searching for their first league win since November 20th.
13 Jan 2022 | Double 0 Seven | 01:06:45
It's not every day your football team wins 7-0 away from home, but Fulham are sure starting to turn it into something remarkably regular. In this episode we discuss how Marco Silva's side ruthlessly exposed a beleaguered Reading side with wave after wave of attack in the second half.
We look at the key talking points including whether Fulham were determined to prove a point after several weeks without a game. We praise most of the players, but particularly Harry Wilson, who had an exceptional five goal involvements in the match.
Afterwards, we preview Saturday's game against Bristol City, and continue the ever-growing "this'll catch on" section with dittys for Aleksandar Mitrovic, Marek Rodak and an ABBA themed number for our forward trio.
17 Oct 2022 | No Bourne(mouth) Supremacy | 01:16:28
We analyse Fulham's 2-2 draw with the Cherries, as Marco Silva's side battled back twice to scramble a draw against Gary O'Neil's in form side.
We look at our defensive frailties and the second half subs that breathed new life into Fulham after the break.
In part two, we answer your questions on everything from Mitro's fitness to the state of the new Riverside Stand. Finally, we preview Thursday's match against Aston Villa at Craven Cottage.
04 Oct 2018 | Arsenal Preview + Collins John Interview (Xtra) | 00:47:45
Fulham's final game before the international break is the visit of Arsenal to Craven Cottage, a difficult test since the Gunners are on a 7 game winning streak under Unai Emery. In this episode we break down what threat Arsenal might pose, predict Fulham's starting line-up and speak to Dave Seager from Gunner's Town to get an opposition lowdown.
Then later in the podcast we speak to Collins John, Fulham's former dutch striker who bagged 20 goals in just under 100 appearances for the club including famous strikes against Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd and a wonder-strike against Middlesbrough. We speak to Collins about his thoughts on Fulham this season, some of his favourite memories from the club and what the future holds for him.

17 Jan 2022 | Six Two Remember | 01:05:32
You would have been excused for thinking Saturday's match against Bristol City might be a case of after the Lord Mayor's show, given the seven goal drubbing of Reading earlier in the week. The opposite however was true, as Fulham racked up the goals once again in this eight-goal thriller at the Cottage.
We look at Aleksandar's Mitrovic's third hat-trick of the season, how Tom Cairney is making this team tick, and on a less positive note, why counter-attacks through the middle keep working against our defence.
After the Bristol City chat we ask if this Fulham team need to be a bit dirtier and just how does this squad compare to previous great FFC rosters?
Finally, there's a quick preview of our home match against Birmingham City on Tuesday, which as you'll hear, Lee Bowyer is far from relishing.
29 Apr 2024 | Half Muniz Hangover | 01:01:28
You'd be forgiven for thinking that Fulham vs Palace at The Cottage had the potential to be an exciting game: two attractive football teams, free from the shackles of the Premier League survival race, allowed to express themselves safe in the knowledge that there isn't too much hanging on the result. Instead, the game was a fairly routine 1-1 draw, however Fulham were definitely the luckier of the two sides to earn a point. Recorded in front of a live audience at Putney's iconic Half Moon Putney, Coops, Dan, Dom and Liz discuss the game, including Tosin's demotion to corporate hospitality duties.
In part 2, Sammy is joined by The Athletic's Peter Rutzler, legendary football journalist Patrick Barclay and Farrell Monk, to answer some of your questions.

24 Jan 2022 | Won Two Three | 00:56:09
Fulham got a less headline-grabbing but arguably more impressive win up at Stoke City at the weekend.
It was 90 minutes jam-packed full of action, from the very opening seconds - but it was one full of character and desire from the Whites.
We get into the nitty gritty of a really good afternoon at the Bet365, discuss the goings on below us in the Championship table and answer an absolute hatful of your question - on everything from right-backs to Wright-Phillips.
27 Jan 2022 | Rodrigo Muniz, Stansfield's Contract, Blackpool | 01:14:46
We start with a final word on the Stoke win, as Rodrigo Muniz deputised admirably up front with a goal (arguably two) and an assist.
In part two, we have a look at the threat mid-table Blackpool will pose before discussing Jay Stansfield's new contract. We juxtapose that news against the ongoing Fabio Carvalho situation, with the odds of a pen and paper meeting looking less and less likely.
Finally, we have time for your emails. There's a discussion on London pubs before some chant suggestions, mainly based on ABBA bangers.
31 Jan 2022 | Family Over Football | 00:35:49
On Saturday 29th January we lost a member of the Fulham Family. Lifelong supporter Paul Parish was taken ill at Craven Cottage, and tragically passed away in hospital later that day. Days like Saturday put football into perspective. The result against Blackpool doesn't matter. 03 Feb 2022 | Deadline Day, Denis Odoi, Manchester City | 01:05:16
The first rule of Fulham on Transfer Deadline Day is that it's never quiet, the second rule is that you WILL be made to stay up past midnight.
We react to what was a sensational evening, as Fabio Carvalho's transfer to Liverpool fell through, three players departed on loan, Denis Odoi left for Club Brugges and Neco Williams arrived until the end of the season. We take a moment to fondly reminisce about Denis' five-and-a-half years at Fulham, the definition of a cult hero.
Afterwards we briefly look back at Saturday's draw with Blackpool before looking ahead to Manchester City, a stern FA Cup 4th round test that poses Marco Silva with an interesting selection headache.
Finally, we have some fantastic Mitrovic scoring stats sent in via email, before playing some more chants in "this'll catch on", including ditties for Fabri and Rodrigo Muniz.
