18 Apr 2025S2 EP17: Conquering LinkedIn: From Zero to 20K Followers with Samantha (Style Strategist) Harman00:32:14

I had such a brilliant chat with Samantha Harman on the podcast this week! If you've been hesitant to use LinkedIn for your business because "it's not for your industry", then this episode will completely change your perspective.

Samantha has built an audience of over 20,000 LinkedIn followers as a personal stylist (yes, you read that right!) and grown an 8,000+ subscriber newsletter in just 52 editions by completely ignoring what people in her industry "should" be doing.

We dive into how she's challenging industry expectations, building genuine connections through comments (not just posts!), and why she believes your wardrobe can be a tool for empowerment rather than something used against you.

Whether you're struggling with content creation confidence or wondering how to protect your business from social media volatility (Samantha's Instagram account disappeared overnight!), this episode is packed with practical advice you can implement today.

This is one of those conversations that feels like getting marketing wisdom and a confidence boost all at once. I think you're going to love it!

04 Apr 2025S2 EP15: 5 Essential Strategies to build a Powerful Personal Brand00:18:53

Building a personal brand doesn't happen overnight - it takes strategy, consistency, and a bit of courage to put yourself out there! This is exactly what I'm unpacking in this week's episode.

Today, I'm sharing the five building blocks you need to create a personal brand that makes you stand out and gets you noticed by your ideal clients. Think about the last time you hired someone - did you go with the faceless company or the person who felt familiar, whose content resonated with you? For most of us, we choose people we already feel we know and trust.

The good news? You don't need a massive budget or team to create your personal brand. I'll walk you through how to lay authentic foundations, develop a clear brand message, create consistent content that truly resonates, build strategic relationships, and leverage multimedia storytelling.

I even share my own journey, including how I didn't have the confidence to launch a marketing company at first despite my qualifications, and how I worked through that to create the brand you see today. Because building a personal brand takes courage, and wherever you are in your journey, you're in exactly the right place to start.

07 Mar 2025S2 EP11: This is what's stopping your sales00:17:00

In this action packed episode of 'From Overlooked to Fully Booked', I tackle the frustrating "implementation gap", which is the chasm between marketing knowledge and action.

I reveal why successful business owners aren't necessarily marketing geniuses, but consistent implementers who take action even when they don't feel like it. I share many of the key and practical strategies that I use in my business like "No Call Tuesdays" and discuss my BRIGHT Framework®, a systematic approach to marketing that drives consistent sales results.

This episode is a great reminder that marketing action, not just knowledge, creates business transformation.

During this episode I mention Adobe Express as a brilliant tool to help create your brand toolkit.

14 Mar 2025S2 EP12: From Likes to Leads: The Content Strategy That Will Bring Real Results00:18:15

In this episode, I tackle one of the most frustrating challenges I hear from smart, hardworking business owners - they're consistently creating content, showing up on all the right platforms, but their phone isn't pinging with enquiries and their inbox remains stubbornly empty!

I'm sharing my step-by-step framework that bridges the critical gap between content that merely gets engagement and content that actively generates qualified leads. This isn't about creating more content; it's about creating strategic content with intention.

To help you turn passive scrollers into enthusiastic prospects, I'm walking you through understanding your client's journey, developing content pillars that align with your services, creating lead magnets that actually convert and implementing distribution strategies that maximise your reach.

And the best part is that you can start implementing this framework straight away, regardless of how busy your schedule is. If you're tired of putting in tremendous effort without seeing results, this episode gives you a roadmap to turn your content into a consistent lead generation machine.

In today's episode I mention a high converting Reel created by one of my Fully Booked Bootcampers Gill which generated 900 email sign-ups. Check it out HERE.
