👥🎙 ABOUT THE PODCAST
They say age is just a number and yet growing older for this generation of millennials feels particularly daunting. For some reasons, navigating especially our 20s to 30s comes with expectations that we should have it all figured out, to the at times, scary realisation that we don't!
In this podcast, Jemma meets guests from different backgrounds, professional and personal experiences in the quest of learning something new and perhaps seek to revalidate that no person's journey is the same. By sharing those conversations, she hopes to impart one or two things.

I Survived A Plane Crash - My Family Did Not
01:02:26
On 14 February 1990, an Airbus A320-231 registered as VT-EPN, crashed onto a golf course while attempting to land at Bangalore, killing 92 of 146 people on board. Tulsi Vagjian, aged 10 at the time, survived. Her parents and brother did not.
In an interview with The Guardian, she shared that she stayed in hospital for nearly five months where she was treated for severe burns and skin grafts. She then went to live with her grandparents, on the same street as her family home. Although she says the loss of her parents was often talked about, it was not until later, when she was about 13, that “it suddenly dawned on me that they were not returning from India”.

The Reality of the Bollywood Industry; Her mother-in-law supported her decision in keeping her maiden name after marriage

She calls it a Generational Curse. She did not take her husband's family name after she got married and interestingly enough, it was her mother-in-law who supported her.
A former A&E nurse for NHS UK, Shiksha shares the dark hours spent in ward, often dealing with life & death situations. In this conversation, we also discuss the current NHS crisis, how stretched staff are and yet underpaid when nearly 40% of the UK population go to A&E every year!

This is how she asked the famous Steven Bartlett (Diary of a CEO) to be on her podcast
00:40:54
"I will regret this for the rest of my life if I don't ask." In a candid conversation with Shivani Pau, host of the Millennial Mind podcast, she recounts how she jumped on a perhaps lifetime opportunity to ask Steven Bartlett, to be on her podcast when she was accompanying her auntie Reshma Saujani.
The phrase “If you don’t ask, you don’t get” may get old and sound cliche but put into real life situations, the probability of “getting” something when you don’t even try asking, is almost certain. While if you ask, you’re at least face with a binary outcome?
