David Kaye joined us for our most recent Fandom Sessions in which he shared with us many great stories from his extensive lineup of characters he has lent his voice. From the beginning, Kaye voiced an iconic character in GI Joe's General Hawk and has gone on to be featured in many of our favorites from voicing both Megatron and Optimus Prime in the Transformers franchise to Sesshomaru in Inuyasha, Treize in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing and Recoome in Dragon Ball Z for you anime fans. He has also lent his voice to one of the most popular video game franchises as Clank in Insomniac's Ratchet & Clank.

Kaye continues to give a voice to characters that we grew up watching or will grow to love as he pioneers the VO profession and gives it the limelight it deserves.

Our resident geek Jesse sits down to talk to the young but VERY talented Asher Bishop. Head Games) to talk about the upcoming release of Minor Threats Vol. 1. The collected edition will arrive at your favorite local comic shops on June 21st and brings you the first collected issues of the superhero universe being crafted by the frequent collaborators for Dark Horse Comics. Welcome back to another episode of Fandom Sessions as we sit down with actor, writer, and director Joe Lo Truglio as he discusses his feature film directorial debut for the film 'Outpost". The film which Truglio wrote and directed sees a woman seeking the help of their best friend to escape a violent and abusive ex. This all leads to a fire lookout in the mountains that sees the woman's trauma and PTSD take its toll in isolation. Truglio shares his process of taking on a film of this magnitude and dealing with darker tones than what we have seen him in before as he famously brought laughs to us in much of his previous work including Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The film premieres this Friday, May 19th, 2023 in select theaters and Video On Demand.

Daniel treads the shark-infested waters with Jeff Kirkendall and Titus Himmelberger the stars of Mark Polonia's new film Cocaine Shark where they share many things about the film and production including the tight filming schedule, prior film experience, and what movies in the past inspired them to pursue acting. Profiler is a Nu-Metal band reawakening from the creative mind of vocalist and guitarist Mike Evans. Together with bassist Joe Johnson and drummer Brad Ratcliffe, the band draws inspiration from pioneers who have instigated change across various genres, arts, and theories. This weight of legacy is something Profiler embraces, finding support with SharpTone Records, their home since 2020.

Originally conceived as a solo project in Bristol, UK, Profiler evolved as Mike stepped from the studio to the stage, enlisting bassist/vocalist Joe Johnson and drummer Oscar Hocking. In early 2023, Oscar made way for Brad Ratcliffe, solidifying the lineup that would craft the debut album, "A Digital Nowhere," released in 2024.

Profiler's music, a fusion of nu-metal, grunge, and alt-rock, creates an abrasive, distorted soundscape that pays homage to the heydays of these genres. Their sound resonates with anyone nostalgic for the contagious nineties Seattle grunge movement or the dominance of nu-metal in the 2000s, and the trailblazing bands that emerged during this era.

The highly anticipated debut album, "A Digital Nowhere," will be released on February 16th by SharpTone Records.

Geek Network recently ventured to the Rialto in Tucson, AZ, to experience another mesmerizing performance by one of their favorites, Mac Sabbath. This time, they were joined by the all-grrrrl rock group, The Darts.

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Mac Sabbath is a heavy metal tribute band that emerged in 2014. Dubbed the pioneers of "Drive Thru Metal," the band humorously parodies the style of the heavy metal group Black Sabbath, infusing their lyricism and imagery with fast food motifs.

Terror Films has announced the release of a highly anticipated Lovecraftian horror movie called SITE 13. The story revolves around Dr. Nathan Marsh, who awakens from a 10-year catatonic state in a mental institution. To uncover the eldritch horrors he unleashed upon the world, he must watch the tapes from his last expedition. Writer, director, and star of the film, Nathan Faudree, shared his insights into the making of SITE 13. He explained that the movie began as a found footage project under the direction of Tony Urban in 2003. However, due to Urban's retirement, the film was shelved. Years later, Faudree was inspired to revive the project and proposed the idea of incorporating the old footage into a present-day storyline. With the support of Urban, Faudree crafted a script that seamlessly merged the two time periods.

Keith and Josue get the chance to sit down with one of the writer of Money Shot. One of the most popular comics to have come out of Vault Comics recently. Tim is a real stand up guy who speaks his mind and this interview was a real blast for us at Geek Network. Enjoy!

Geek Network spent some time in Carlos "Kauwy" Flores's studio to sit down to chat about music and what it's like starting from the ground up to now making a big name in the local music scene in Arizona. When the world shut down briefly back in 2020 he and a few friends all bought their own set of Pioneer DJ Decks (DDJ-400) to learn and hone their craft. Once it was deemed safe to go back out to the world in 2021 Kauwy and friends started hosting parties, where they would hold DJ competitions. A mutual friend really liked his sound and referred him to someone in Techno Snobs, the group that Kauwy plays for nowadays, where they hold events just about every weekend. They continue to work on their sound with the goal of always keeping the crowd entertained. This is certainly an act you don't want to miss. Justin Richards joins us to discuss their new anthology comic Everything is Different Now. The new project which is available exclusively through Kickstarter until August 31st is a collaborative effort between Richards and a talented group of artists including Liana Kangas, Val Halvorson, Tench, Adam Cahoon, Jimmy Kucaj, Chris Shehan, and many more. Tailoring to what Richards does best, the series collects a series of short stories that emulates an emotion many regard as negative but in truth is an emotion that is very necessary to stand up and acknowledge that life and our world can be chaotic and its important to acknowledge the feelings that bring and respect the natural feeling of RAGE. Richards is a comic book writer who has always gracefully implemented emotions and real issues into his work and this series highlights a very important feeling and state of our world and lives inspired by some of their favorite music and other influences. Celebrated artist Alex Ross joins us for our newest episode to talk about an exciting collaboration with CGC (Certified Guaranty Company) which will give fans an opportunity to send in their most prized collections from Ross's time illustrating and writing comics. Geek Network sits down with Dennis Hopeless to talk about his mini-series She’s Running on Fumes., which is based on true events. Events about his family and his past, a story that is a real page-turner that will make you give you a bit more anxiety as you read panel after panel.

We discussed what the creative process for this type was. Dennis said that a lot of his life was just getting bits and pieces of what truly happened. So he spoke to his mother throughout the entire writing process and got the whole story. He also did have to add that the entire process was very cathartic. In the end, it did help him heal.

Comedian, writer, and an all-around gem of a human being Brian Posehn joined us to talk about his upcoming comic venture with Image Comics as he continues Scotch McTiernan's adventures in the upcoming one-shot issue 'Scotch McTiernan's Holiday Special,' alongside his fellow Deadpool creators Gerry Duggan & Scott Koblish. With the comic arriving at local comic shops in January 2023. Posehn is set to close out the year with his upcoming comedy special 'Posehna Non Grata.' Daniel interviews Corissa Grant on what it’s like to be writing a comic book series based on role-play that she has written for years. Grant is a writer who has learned to live with dyslexia and flourished in the indie comic scene. She has continuously poured her passion into the world and characters of Redemption and has developed her passion project into a full-fledged successful Kickstarter that now enters its fourth chapter which is available now. Marc Guggenheim stopped in for Fandom Sessions to geek out over superheroes and comics. Marc has spent years putting his creative mind into bringing to life many TV projects such as Law & Order and also had his hand in adapting the CW's Arrow TV series which spawned the entire Arrowverse that has stood strong for years and will finally work towards its finale.

Another passion of Marc's has always been comics and he has also had his hand in penning comics with many different publishers including Marvel and DC Comics.
