Part of ending binge & emotional eating is getting out of your chaotic busy mind and into your body so you can reconnect to the sensations you feel and tune into your hunger and fullness cues. 

One of the quickest ways to do this is through breathwork.

I just recently became a breathwork facilitator and it’s been magical to see how powerful using our breath can really be.

Not just for ending binge eating but to cultivate worthiness
…to feel safe, loved & comforted
…to release stress & anxiety
…to allow myself to FEEL all emotions

You can’t think your way out of a binge, it just won’t work. No matter how many times you promise yourself NOT to binge, that’s not going to prevent you from acting on those intense impulses to binge.

Breathwork is a great tool to use when you feel the impulse to binge but also supports you in becoming less impulsive with food in general.

After just 21 days, Brittany has been able to regain her control back with food and no longer obsess over what she is eating.

Last night I attended a yin yang yoga class where we held postures during the yin portion of the class for 2.5 mins. There were moments of discomfort, much like the urge to binge. But in order to experience relief, it’s required to stay in the discomfort.
