In this week’s episode, we talk about Amir’s memory issues AGAIN. Somebody get this man a doctor ASAP😩. He explains how the fear of forgetting has pushed him to have such a rigid routine that he doesn’t like to steer away from.

Of course we (Nabat and I) decided to unpack that to try and figure out what the deeper issue was Hello potential trauma response?? 

Amir then asked us what we were and weren’t looking forward to in marriage…and btw I know what you’re all thinking…why are 3 single people talking about this…we all have hopes and dreams ok?! 🥺

Lastly we spoke about the “tough” choice that has to be made when one is trying to excel in their career but also has to be there for and in some cases protect the safety of their family (we’re talking about you, Kanye)

You already know what time it issss, another week, another episode of the CCP!

We're in the home stretch - the last 10 days of the blessed month of Ramadan. Does anyone else feel like this month zoomed by? May Allah enable us to live to see another Ramadan, Aameen Ya Rabb!

We also talk about Sara's struggles with weight gain during the pandemic and how that has impacted her mindset on her self-worth and shopping experience. Are any of y'all going through this? Although it appears that we have resumed with our regular content on this channel, the people of Palestine are still in our hearts and in our du'ahs daily. We ask that you all make du'ah for them as well - may Allah grant them justice and end their suffering. 

This week on CCP, we were joined by one of the funniest people we know - Zaki Zeeko! After knowing Zaki for the past few years and watching his growth from hosting weddings to becoming an entrepreneur, Zaki shared his entertaining journey filled with many laughs and a lot of life lessons - the most important one being that if Allah has chosen a path for you, nothing and no one can stand in your way. 

Our hearts have been heavy since the atrocities that have began on October 7th and we thought this episode (a more light hearted one) would help lift your spirits and remind you all that Allah is the Most Generous, the Most Kind, the Most Just and He Knows Best.

We also spoke about an interesting video that went viral a few weeks ago where a brother so gracefully *🙄* explained his views on gender roles and whether it’s appropriate for men to be in the labour ward with his wife as she delivers. Not everyone needs to share their thoughts on a public platform where younger audiences can potentially be influenced. We recognize that we have a platform and are responsible for sharing thought invoking conversations and try our best to maintain our integrity, speak the truth when it comes to deen and remain respectful always.

This week, we spoke about the steep decline in energy since we’ve started fasting and how it’s impacted our ability to do the most this month. We want to always remind ourselves first and you that you don’t always have to compare yourselves to what you see online. Doing so can either encourage you to do more (which is great) but sometimes it can discourage you and make you feel like what you’re doing is never enough. As long as you have your sincere intentions, do what you can even if it’s something small and in sha Allaah your rewards will be multiplied for you during this blessed month. 

While we’re in the month of Ramadan, don’t forget to make du’ah for all the Muslims who are experiencing hardship around the world and ask Allah to free Palestine from the shackles of isnotreal. 

Make du’ah for yourselves and ask for all that you have desired, we ask Allah to accept your fasts, prayers and du’ahs.
